Bro this is the one of the lowest-IQ takes I’ve seen on this discord… Sledge is VERY difficult to be effective / use well / win games with, and honestly this applies to all of the melee weapons
Wild suggestion how about doing or giving people specific challenges for them to improve either their skills on a weapon or gadget so they can get some cosmetics for either that weapon or gadget and you do that on their birthday, actually may do like events around peoples birthdays in a month and they get cosmetics that relate to their month and their birthdate or name is on their weapon like some shit like that even though you devs or mods won’t look it this I feel like this game has a lot of involvement with the players and I hope it stays that way no matter how long this games last through its highs and lows I will be their and people don’t clown on me.

Really, really don't like that Kyoto map at all, for anything but Quick Cash. Just out of a Power Shift game. Enemy team player was hidden and sniping and spamming projectiles from higher up on the platform and/or a house. We couldn't find quick enough the rope to get up on the platform because the player would snipe us down by the time we'd find it (it was confusing with lots of greenery around, too many things to look for before finding that yellow rope compared to other maps). Then I tried to go up the stairs of a house thinking the player might have moved there,but couldn't verify because I couldn't find stairs (they were deleted, likely?), so by the time I went back to the platform, the Sniper player had gunned down teammates and their team moved along the platform and won. There's way too much going on on that map compared to other maps. Thumb down every time, wish I could filter it out.

Positive feedback (I know I rant a lot about that darn Kyoto map and I can't be bothered with "everybody-leaves-mid-game" TA game mode anymore so yeah gotta balance it up to be fair about my love for the game):
- The skins in the battle pass this season are chefkiss
There's literally a chef outfit in there 😂 Let's just have a "chef kiss" emote already! haha - Really hype that you kept the extra levels going this season too, the content on those extra battle pass levels look luxurious, really amazing design
- Power Shift on the Monaco (I think) map has been more fun thanks to @thorn kelp tip to use Anti-Gravity Cube as a way to get back on the platform when playing a Heavy. I have only used it once, and only today but it helped me get back on the platform + kick enemy players from it lol so that was fun. The Finals has quite the healthy + helpful community for an FPS which is commendable.

Are you fucking kidding me? Instant death from full health is not a problem for you? Fun. Though ofcourse, you are a bloody Light main after all. How the fuck can anyone react to a light dashing straight to you and turn 180 degrees and die in 1 second. Bullshit weapon for no skill players.
Reply: What a joke. Every dagger players i see on a match is on a killing spree. You dont even know the exploit being used for dagger players to get instant kill and im the one with the skill issue? Instant death that can be prevented by simply moving your mouse... And turning around. It's one of the easiest weapons to counter in the game. One of the worst weapons in the game, one of the jankiest, too.
Instant death only applies to unaware and out of touch players. Maybe try being a bit more aware next time, basically: skill issue.
Dagger is complained about like once a blue moon cuz everyone knows it's trash and fair when it works.

Maybe CN has new cheats that Embark needs to get on top of asap because the "DY" cheater team is ruining World Tour in Ranked and Unranked cheaters boosting Plat teams. Please create a rule that an unranked player can never play in plat / Diamond lobbies this will drop the demand of Cheater boosting especially in Asia.

I've never died to a dagger player. To counter their hundreds of hours of effort just turn around, not even fully, just 90 degrees is enough. Their only hope of killing you is a back stab. They run out of dashes and become a free kill. Second to only 93r, worst weapons in the game

New Game Mode Concept: ✨"Blitz"✨Day 2
Here is an idea for a new game mode in The Finals, inspired by Hardpoint
CORE PRINCIPLES:
Appeal to new players:
Faster respawns and a focus on maintaining control of a designated area make it easier to jump in and contribute.
Fast-paced and engaging:
Short to medium length matches and constant objective switching keep the action flowing.
Teamwork encouraged:
Earning money is based on team presence within the zone, rewarding coordinated pushes and revives.
- I believe the long respawns in every game mode has turned away a lot of people. "Fast paced & Chaotic" don't seem palatable when mixed with high respawn times. I understand we want to incentivise team work and revives but I think a game mode with fast respawns is well overdue in a game like The Finals.
GAMEPLAY:
Team Setup:
Two options for team size: 3 teams of 4 players.
- Here I want to increase team size because I feel like people want bigger team sizes in the finals and we want a lot of destruction.
I feel like 3 teams of 4 wouldn't be too much and would be fun for a casual game mode.
Blitz Zone:
A designated area on the map becomes the objective (Blitz Zone or whatever it's named). It can be circular, shaped like a building, or highlighted by a beam.
Earning Money:
Teams earn money based on the number of players within the Blitz Zone. More teammates present translates to higher earnings per tick.
Example:
-One person in the area will earn the base amount of points - $10 per tick
-Two people earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS $5 each (since there are 2 team mates inside.)
-Three people all earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $10 each (since there are 3 team mates inside
-Full team will receive a base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $15 or $20 (since there is a full team alive in the zone)
Penalties & Rewards:
"Direct Deposit" - Kills have a small siphon effect where you take money from the enemy you killed and it's added to your team total balance.
NOTE: Only kills between players inside the Blitz Zone have siphon effect. ✨Clutch players rejoice✨
"Team wipe" aka "Bankruptcy" - Same as cashout, you loose a percentage of your teams balance if your whole team is dead at the same time.
("Bankruptcy" might be too much for a casual mode since it makes another variable to calculate mid gunfight. Might but be good for the gamer that wants to just shut their brain off. If they play this and don't care about score tm8s will complain and ruin the mood... 🤷🏾♂️)
Match Duration:
The game lasts between 5-10 minutes with the Blitz Zone active for 2-4 minutes before switching to a new location.
Suggestion:
For all casual modes, turn on auto Re-que. It's a wise decision.
This is a starting point, and all aspects are open for discussion and refinement.

Asking again: I’d love a channel for the devs to share their thoughts and respond to ours. Let us know you’re at least listening. Tell us why you are making a change or why you won’t make one. If there’s a big issue tell us you’re working on it. I’m not trying to add more to your to do list but most of us feel like our feedback goes unheard. Some of the things we complain about that seem like simple fixes can take a month to be changed.

I just got kicked for the 30th time for using the v95. I have a theory that it might be the high cps that I get (it's about 10-15). the game says i'm using a "dissalaowed tool" so maybe it thinks i'm using an autoclicker? (i'm not) or maybe it thinks i'm using some hack to increase my gun's fire rate. (also not doing that) and no one dare tell me to "jUst cLicK sLowEr" because it's my playstyle and the finals is a game where you can play however you want to play (without using cheats) . Feel like lights are given such a wacky place in a team based game, but I feel like all thats in the game right now is fine! Just needs a little reorganizing
Lights should have the defib and switch the sonar to the heavy.
Medium should have the stun gun.
Reason why lights should have the defib is because there's no reason for a light to actually be around to interact with the team (or add to the risk for them.) Also, they can just take the downed player out of combat, defib so both players are safe.
Also this solves the unfortunate team comp that is triple mediums with heal gun and defibs.
Mediums having stun is great considering the fact how its now not paired with EXTREMELY fast kill time weapons lights tend to have. Also mediums can't just simply run away so easily after using it like a light would (So it'd be less annoying and also promote more team communication)
Essentially more utility and choices for medium to have instead of ALWAYS needing defib.
Heavy having the sonar I feel would change things up a little with a kind of nerf to the sonar. One charge, bigger radius! Lights having sonar is just essential and doesn't really have much competition in terms of equipment, so it' just being spammed all the time. Putting it on the heavy however, they've gotta choose between other very good gadgets now like the rpg, dome shield, barricade, genuinely the rest of the gadgets.
But ye, thats my suggestion and reasoning!

To be honest this is pretty good besides the part where heavy gets sonar. Like you said, with light its an almost must-pick because the ither gadgets are weaker, while heavy has a lot of good gadgets already, which kinda underlines a problem
This game thrives on the creativity on utility of equipment. if you change too much about the fundamentals of the game when it was fun in the beta and early seasons, then the game becomes entirely seperate mechanically. Ive seen cool shit thats been implemented here like no other game but if you continue to listen to the brand new members of the community who are unaware of very easy counters, you just create a "balanced" game for the new players. Unfortunately, the higher ranks suffer on mechanical changes and knowledge built from previous versions. Adapting to updates and change is one thing, but its changing way too much (for me personally) and its hard to keep up with the more delicate changes. I kinda liked dying instantly, its a punishment for getting too risky and now that my old run and gun playstyle definitely feels outclassed, but it was fun having all the chaos.

Encourage us to play and make friends. I'm talking about make The Finals about team play (Way too much solo culture in ranked)
They need to make a "squad" system next season.
For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:
-Vaiiya
-Volpe
-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)
This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.
Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.
This creates urgency AND rarity since -for example- the season 4 OSPUZE set will never show up again. (Same for Engimo, Vaiiya, etc.)
Remember, ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ONE SEASON
Top companies (companies with the most "fame" or money cashed out) are showed on the World Tour leaderboard.
There they should be able to display or link their Twitch and other socials.

If heavy has a lot of great gadgets to choose from, might as well give them a harder dilemma to deal with having to choose from pretty fundamental things.
Actually having to consider using sonar or no. For lights it's a guarantee, for medium it's a guarantee. Heavy however, they've gotta consider defense like barricade and dome shield (goo grenade too possibly), destruction like c4 or rpg, or some general utility like grav cube and even mines. All valid gadgets. So giving them the sonar makes the team have to think about what they REALLY need. (aka, less sonar spam so it fixes that problem >:0)

Having to wait SOOOOOO LONG at the first esc screen, after a match, is the BEST addition to this game. The devs should make that "appears like the game locked up" action even longer.
Heavy:
- RPG > damage reduced DMG from 140 to 100, full damage only on direct hit
- Winch hook > remove from game, or rework it completely
- Mesh shield > Reduced HP from 750 to 700
- M60 > increase damage drop off range by 10 meters
- Lewis gun > clean up the recoil pattern to be less aggressive horizontally
- Charge and slam > reduce damage by half so you cant instantly kill M's, reduce cooldown. Should be more utility than 1 shot cheese.
Medium:
- Recon senses > re-add to game - rework to be a single ping like recon nades but originating from the player. 3 charges with a pretty long recovery time
- Turret > Add a attack delay of 0.3s so it doesnt instantly shoot if you are in its FOV
- Defib > Remove invincibility time after getting ressed
- FCAR > 3rd shot of recoil jumps way to hard right, reduce that horizontal recoil
- FAMAS > Increase damage drop off range, replace the terrible ironsights with RDS or holo.
- R.357 > increase damage drop off range and slightly lower reload time
Light:

Grappling hook > lower cooldown

Throwing Knives > Make the projectiles lose velocity and damage over distance, boost initial velocity, Lower fire rate

Cash-out should periodically give cash over time in a couple of instances (ie: 3k-5k-10k). Many high ELO games just becomes stalling for first 75% CO the time.

For the last 20 days I've been pasting an idea where we highly encourage the creation of "Clans" in the finals. I call them "companies" since we will be "working" with the sponsors in game for highly desirable one-time cosmetics.
(Increases player count, player hours, encourages team play, helps expand the lore a bit, & gives sponsors a more integral role in The Finals)
+Do not let me down I swear to God.
Pregame Lobby & File share system:
I don't know how the new pregame Lobby would work but the current "lobby" system is kinda bare bones and doesn't do much for community.
I completely understand opting to omit a lobby and only have us talk to team mates since the game is pretty competitive
BUT
Having an ability to share clips or view clips would be cool.
Just sharing a thought here, still, I can't help but feel like the lobbies could be done so much better...
Spectate Mode:
This one I hold dear to my heart.
Imagine, the top "companies" -as mentioned above- or top ranked contestants UNLOCK or are invited to be an in-game streamer.
Lol hear me out: in game they can now see how many of US are watching THEM play The Finals.
Kinda like, we make the top 500 leaderboard more useful since we can click on their position on the leaderboard and watch them if they are currently in game, or if they have any clips uploaded. *And this makes things more competitive since they have direct line of sight for anyone logging into the game and looking at the leaderboard.
Of course a lot of the top Finalists are already on twitch but that would be such a flex. We could also make it a twitch integration kinda thing on top.

A simple balance suggestion for the Defibrillator:
Make the cooldown much shorter if used on an enemy.
Heavy just does not need these reworks at all. Only one I slightly agree with is winch. I think it being able to go through shields and abilities makes it way too OP against other heavies. The rest is just a skill issue

they do slightly because the crosshair in the finals bounces around and isn't always center of your screen while the bullets are still coming out of the center of your screen, so having a static crosshair helps tracking, especially if you are jumping around and moving lots.
Can we get slightly better front sights on the R.357? Doesn't need an optic but a front sight that sits slightly higher will make it feel more consistent and justify its range

My patience just ran out in Ranked Terminal Attack and I have reasons for you to understand why it's not enjoyed.
Cashout Tournament is a far better competitive experience in quality, quantity, and enjoyment.
A very big thing with Cashout is that you only need to make it to round 2 in order to "Win". This alone has multiple things going for it.
Getting to round 2 feels easier to achieve since the real goal is to make it to the end of the tournament. Sure, it's still a 50/50 chance to win but it FEELS easier.
Even if you do lose, Cashout lets you leave once you're disqualified, allowing you to log more games and get more Wins. These wins being longer than losses also grants a more satisfying experience since you are spending MORE TIME WINNING even though everyone else is getting the same treatment.
Terminal Attack FAILS ON ALL ACCOUNTS with this.
Instead of a loss being a quick in and out and a victory being a long exhilarating experience, TA is a slog. If you get bad teammates or someone Disconnects in TA, you have to spend AT MINIMUM 7 rounds waiting for mercy! This is with the long loading screens and prep time and all your struggling in a desperate attempt to salvage the mess making it a miserable AND long experience. It's even worse if you lose a close game because then you have DOUBLE THE LENGTH for TWICE THE FAILURE.

Let's set up a scene. You and your crew make it to the end of a Ranked Game but lose at the last possible second.
In Cashout you get a fair bit of Ranked Points, the confidence to play again since you got that far, and the pride of knowing you beat 14 other teams in the process!
In Terminal Attack you lose 30 minutes of your life plus the previous HOUR you spent getting the Ranked Points you just lost!
Alternatively, if you lose as early as possible in Ranked Cashout still wins.
Cashout is a continuous round where you can do whatever and try to 3rd or 4th party into a sneaky win. Victory still feels attainable despite the situation being a guaranteed loss in the scenario. This provides less mental fatigue to the player and a more engaging experience.
Terminal Attack is a collection of small fights between preparation screens making you have to literally WAIT TO LOSE instead of PLAYING THE VIDEOGAME! Additionally, the hope of MAYBE pulling out a win in this situation is near 0 since, instead of just needing 1 lucky break in Cashout, TA needs you to luck out 7 TIMES! The mental fatigue of losing in TA is borderline abusive.

I've been using throwing knives for a few weeks now, and let me say this: They absolutely don't need a nerf, and anyone claiming they do is simply bad at strafing. The knives are not easy to hit. You have to lead a significant amount, and that changes on any distance above 5 meters, requiring an attentive and adaptive playstyle. Not just that, but they have a hard cap range of around ~40 meters. It is simply impossible to hit a shot on someone any further than this, because the projectile time combined with them moving around, combined with your only long range option being an alternate fire that takes 2 seconds to wind up, guarantees you will never get anything more than a lucky peck beyond this distance. Compared to the sniper, which is point and click at any range within 80 meters, the knives suffer significantly if you don't wisely choose your battles. If you got killed by a light knives player, you let them get too close to you; end of story. They still had to risk getting that close to you, through your team, and at whatever position you're holding, and THEN STILL have to properly aim and lead their shots in order to kill you. The people who are going crazy with the knives are people who have practiced them until their fingers bleed, learning the new arc they have in S3 as well as learning how to properly lead them at any distance (up to 40m). Projectile weapons have been and will always be inherently more difficult to use than hitscan weapons, and knives are no exception. Compared to the sniper, where at LITERALLY ANY RANGE (as long as you can see your target) all you have to do is point and click. Not difficult at all, and in my own opinion, not rewarding. The knives are a high risk, high reward weapon. You have to get in their face to gain value from it; sniper is not. Pick sniper, sit on some random rooftop, and just bodyshot people and let your teammates finish them off, or put an ounce of skill into it and go for headshots, to the same effect. Knives do not need a nerf: players calling for these nerfs are all just salty they went against a light who bodied them because they were too stupid and let them get close. Sniper is what truly needs the nerf. Can't say just how many times a game was ruined because some coward sat on a roof across the map, shooting me once as soon as I try to engage so their team can just mop me up. How many other weapons can simply mark a player for death like the sniper can? The RPG is the only one that comes to mind, and it has a long cooldown. Pointing and clicking is easy, but leading your shots and tracing players is far more difficult.
Make level 40 players play world tour. I have a bad team of level 11s and made me lose.

Oh! this actually reminded me of another point. The term "Go Next" is a terrible phrase that should never be uttered in a competitive game. It means to give up in order to play the next match hoping for better odds. Cashout's lose condition is that you lose the first round when the time runs you. There is no grey area where trying harder will result in a longer loss. Round One ends and you either won or lost making the term "Go Next" nonexistent!
Terminal Attack is round based. Assuming 7 rounds in TA is the same as 1 round in Cashout (Even though it A LOT longer and you have to deal with the super long loading screen regardless of if you lose on round 7 or 13), if you don't like your odds, throwing yourself at the enemies and decreasing your rounds won will get you out of bad matches faster. Nobody wants to play 13 rounds just to lose, so players will opt to decrease that number as much as possible or just abandon the match because MATCH SUSPENTION TAKES LESS TIME THAN LOSING IN TERMINAL ATTACK which is TERRIBLE for your game's health. All of the players who are still trying their best or aren't doomer crybabies will have to deal with even worse odds with a 4v5. The "Go Next" mentality screws over people trying their best and it has been proven in ESPORTS that you will win games you never thought you would if you give up resulting in a higher win rate overall.
"Go Next" is evil and, while Cashout literally cannot endorse this behavior, Terminal Attack is designed around fostering this toxicity in its players.
The only part id disagree here is they don't feel punishing to miss imo. they have decently enough fire rate and infinite ammo off sets the lower fire rate compared to a gun.
Think missing with mp5/v9s/sniper feels worse especially in 1vx fights. Knives shine in 1vx fights imo but I don't think they're as op as people are claiming. They feel bad to play against the same reason sniper feels bad to play against high burst damage, but not inherently high dps. I don't know tk's actually dps but sniper's like 90/150
I think if they gave them a reload people would quit complaining about them, and they'll likely still be good. assuming the reload is reasnable. If they gave it something as low as the sniper it'd go back to being a useless weapon imo!

Giving the knives a fair reload is a change I could get behind. The infinite ammo does allow you to keep throwing shots out nonstop, and stopping that would indeed likely make eveyrone quit their whining. But yeah, people get hit with 3 knives to the head and die in the span of 2 seconds and then come on this channel to bitch and moan about it, fully disregarding the fact that the other player had to aim, lead, trace, and LAND those three shots while moving, instead choosing to just moan "knives op"

Except its not. You can easily turn and kill the person that stunned you. And if you're melee then they don't need to stun you to kill you. (I only bring this up because you brought up melee the last time this was posted.)
The only time stun feels "OP" is when you get stunned with a sword on you, But they're still a light and every class can kill them before they kill you. Tho if your a light its a toss up and you have to react fast, typically better to just counter stun the sword.
Better used on escaping/cashout denying.

I mentioned waiting earlier which leads me to my next point. Terminal Attack has too much downtime and that's not something you can buff out. Cashout has a total of 3 mid-game loading screens to reset the arena. While these are a little long and mildly irritating, you can use those breaks to go to the restroom, eat a snack, grab a drink, or respond to a text.
Terminal Attack is divided into 1 long loading screen (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it's the same length even though it feels twice as long) and 12 prep stages. It seems like that would balance out the time issue, but the prep stages interrupt the action between every round while Cashout doesn't have that disability. These prep stages are also intended to be "strategizing", even though Attack is just twiddling their thumbs the whole time, and that importance plus the short time frame means you cannot occupy yourself during the interruption.

My humble feedback for world tour as we approach about a month of season 3:
I'm a big fan of the idea that the in-universe sponsors have their own rotating expos every couple of weeks with each new tour stop. And of course being rewarded with multibucks in accordance with our progression throughout the season is quite gratifying.
I think it would be great to see some expansion with some of the ideas in world tour, especially with regard to the sponsors and how players may interact with them. Something like being able to have our contestants sign on with Engimo, Ospuze, or any of the others (I have one of my contestants dripped out in all kinds of Ospuze gear with my head-cannon of them being a sort of mascot for them) to get little bits of unique goals/customizations for choices we make would be awesome.
Unfortunately, as much as I'm a fan of the concept of world tour and excited to see it be expanded upon, I have one big gripe with it. As someone who primarily played and enjoyed ranked tournament in the previous seasons, world tour currently just feels like that... but less. My ability to play tournament on a map I enjoy is completely at the mercy of the tour stop rotations.
SYS$Horizon is one of my favorite maps, yet I haven't been able to play it in my preferred gamemode for weeks just because it hasn't been active in the rotation. Inversely, if a map I'm not too fond of is in the rotation, then it's more likely I'll be stuck on that one for the next two weeks. I love Monaco, but I'm not too keen on playing it for (what feels like) at least 1/3rd of my matches. I'd much prefer to have all maps in the rotation, or even be able to select another circuit where I can play on the other half of the maps (though this could obviously impact queue times).
I love your game, Embark, and regardless of any other criticisms surrounding season 3 I think the foundation for world tour is promising and I hope to see it expanded upon in the seasons to come. ❤️

Both games have death penalties to keep things balanced.
Terminal Attack has it so that Death is Permanent. If you get capped by a Sniper in the first 10 seconds, you just have to sit there and watch other people have fun. You can't leave in case everyone dies too quickly, you just have to sit there while your team lambasts you (More on that later).
In Cashout, you can get revived or defibbed for an instant return to the battlefield. This makes you active and invested in what's going on because you can be thrown back in at any time and if your teammate revived you while someone is rounding the corner, you need to make sure your are prepared to fight once again. Even if that isn't the case, your mind is churning on the idea of coining or not. Cashout grants you coins to revive a limited amount of times. While you spectate your team, you need to evaluate if you want to spend that currency or save it for something worth while. Even if you know you're safe or don't plan on coining, you need to be prepared to do so at any time to save your team from a potentially game-losing team wipe. MULTIPLE TIMES TODAY I have had situations where my teammates were fine, but I was watching their health because if they started taking damage I'd need to coin to secure our win! I was engaged and invested in the game while I was dead. Even though I couldn't move, I was still Playing the Game.

Speaking of "The Game", this is one of the biggest issues with Terminal Attack because it harms the soul of the game. I have no better way to describe it than this simple phrase...
"You CANNOT Reach The Finals in THE FINALS"
This is both literal and metaphorical. In a literal sense, Cashout is a tournament mode with the last round being "The Finals" of the tournament. Terminal Attack does not have that. Terminal Attack has a "Final Round" not "The Finals". Terminal Attack is just the end of a string of 5v5s between the same two teams. Cashout is two teams fighting for victory as the FINALISTS in a tournament.
Metaphorically, Terminal Attack is not THE FINALS. THE FINALS was always a hail of bullets between several teams in a high octane environment of switching between offense, defense, pursuit, evasion, and destroying everything in your way to achieve your goal of REACHING THE FINALS- I mean Cashing out with buckets of money.
Terminal Attack is not this. If I introduce someone to Terminal Attack, they always say "Oh, so it's Rainbow 6 Siege" or "Oh, so it's CS/GO". This has never happened with Cashout. The base gameplay of Cashout, and by extension Quick Cash, is so unique to THE FINALS that it is something I can only enjoy here. The entire identity of THE FINALS was constructed around this game mode and it is what brought all the fans to it that you have today! Making Terminal Attack the Competitive mode, making Terminal Attack the only source of rewards, making Terminal Attack THE FACE of the game betrays all of those people who believe this game is something special. You are trying to turn THE FINALS into a different game and if someone really wants to play that different game, then they'll just play a game that's supposed to be like that like Rainbow 6 Siege.

Day 111 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored four bullets every second, 50 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

I would LOVE and strongly recommend that the next ranked mode be something like a merge between Quick Cash and Ranked Cashout Tournament. Quick Cash always seems more fun, less stressful, more predictable, less RnG and still competitive. There is way more action, and you could balance that out or pull that back with fine-tuning the respawn system (e.g., keep it the same as Ranked Cashout Tournament was).
Here are some ideas that I think could make a really positive impact:
- 3 teams instead of 4 and 1 vault instead of 2
- make the cashouts worth a consistent amount (e.g., first to 3)
- make the cashouts increase by much less after each pair (e.g., $2k)
- eliminate or dramatically reduce the penalty for a team wipe
- make kills and team wipes worth more $$
- create consistent respawns for all teams (e.g., equal distance from objectives)

We know a member on your team can only kill with that op weapon, but sometimes you just have to learn to aim.

The spectate mode you get to sit in the stands high above and you look down at the map in real time and simultaneously you get a screen where you can swap between 1st person POV of all the contestants currently in the game.
This would be the ultimate in shoutcasting.
In game you get to watch top contestants (gamers) play.
- fix the loading screen bug
- fix hitting escape at the end of the round to quit from freezing the game and taking longer than if I just wait through all the end screens
- fix gas barrels teleporting and exploding in your hands (again)
- fix the steal alarm only going off for 1.5 seconds out of the entire steal duration
- fix mines and deployables from disappearing and then reappearing over a second later
- fix cashouts appearing on a different floor than where they really are
There's probably a dozen other really super annoying bugs that have existed in the game since season 1 that I can't think of right now. These things should be a priority. I have over 1000 hours in this game and this shit is more annoying than any of the weapons or abilities in the game.
Also IMO everything you put in the game for season 2 is shit in one way or another, the winch claw was a really stupid idea and is more frustrating to play against than the medium grenade launcher was before everyone stopped using it.

That does bring up a tiny side note. Cashout and Terminal Attack are 2 different genres. People can enjoy both types of game, but the identity of THE FINALS is linked to Cashout and that fostered fanbase feels betrayed that you took their beloved game away from them and made it into a Tactical Shooter. I know I am. I hate Tactical Shooters and seeing that become the only "Ranked" mode in the game is a personal insult. I really want to get those Platinum Dual Blades to show off that I'm a melee main, but I'm not even having fun winning in Terminal Attack. Maybe I'll keep trying later this season, but if I don't hit Plat in the next couple of games I think I'll quit comp.** I have more fun losing in Cashout than I do winning in Terminal Attack.**
Well, since I mentioned "melee" it's time to mention the gameplay itself. First of all, you've disabled key items in the game. Some people like playing Healers in FPSs and you just forced all the Mercy and Medic mains out of the Ranked Mode. If being "The Healer" is what they are good at as opposed to accuracy, or your strategy with your friends is to have a dedicated Healer, you just don't get to play Terminal Attack. Have fun being Silver 4 if you don't have an aneurysm during your placement matches.

But, that's just the Defib and Healing Beam being disabled. Surly no one else gets filtered by this balance change, right? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
I mentioned that I'm a melee main and I'm craving those Platinum Blades. As a melee main, I cannot stress enough how Anti-Melee Terminal Attack is. A big part of being a melee player is accepting that you are risking your life with every encounter, but as long as the enemy's health bar is empty before yours, you have won the exchange. With healing and most regeneration unavailable, you just lose. Someone accidentally hit you with a single bullet? Damn, that's crazy. Guess you don't have enough HP to fight anyone. You just survived a 1v1? Damn, that's crazy. Guess you get to hide in the corner for the rest of the game since someone sneezing 100 meters away is enough to one-shot you after you've regenerated to "max". This is extra noticable for Medium and Heavy. Light gets it easy since their melee oriented around being sneaky and they are only losing 50 hp if they survive. Medium and Heavy though? They regenerate to the same amount. The Class who has melee weapons designed for being shot at more than anyone else and the class who has the lowest speed, largest hit box, shortest average range, and 2 specializations for getting really close to the team full of XP-54s and Model 1887s? Yah, those two classes get the same treatment as the glass cannon class. Seems like a pretty big balancing oversight when the recorded reason for Cashout's current unranked status was to "balance" the competitive mode.
hey @minor wave you can add in the lack of communication from Embark, despite the fact that when they announced this change before season 3, they told us to "try it out for a few days and let us know". Its almost been a month and last week's patch we only got cosmetics. Cheaters situation? Also silence. The simple fact that EVEN if you want to try and practice TA by playing casual, there are also bannable instances where if you leave, you get banned like ranked. Why add a casual TA where I can do my challenges without stressing much but you need 5v5? Why not fill in with new people from a certain round? Meaning if its 1-2 then someone can join and fill in for the missing teammate, but not if its 3-1. Lastly, since, as you said, this is a dreading gamemode where sometimes you can be getting destroyed due to your teammates' skill or the fact that someone left, why doesn't Embark add a forfeit button? End the suffering of making us choose between an unenjoyable experience or a ban.

But removing the viability of certain weapons and playstyles has DEEPER consequences. Once again, Terminal Attack has come in to increase player toxicity. You'd think the addition of Text Chat and Voice Chat would be the things that unveiled the darker side of the gaming community, but it's Terminal Attack.
In Cashout, all builds are viable to some extent and because of that judgement isn't too common. Maybe you'll go 0/11 and get a "You suck bro" but that's about it. In Terminal Attack, if you are not playing a "Meta" build you won't be flamed. You will be Harassed.
I'm a melee main. My accuracy isn't great and I enjoy using melee weapons. I've spent many years honing my skills of punching people in the face while they try to shoot me. I am at my best with a melee weapon... which is forbidden in Terminal Attack. (More on that in Part 10. Outta space for the paragraph)
And yes @solemn light, the silent nature of the devs is off-putting.
While the devs of No Man's Sky went silent to focus on fixing their mistakes that they admitted to, we have been given no indication by Embark of something being done to right this wrong.
All we get is Scotty, June, and Arena Announcer telling us over and over again how exciting this change is and howwe apparently asked for this to happen. It's pretty rude to have your characters say "LOOK! WE LISTEN TO THE FANS AND CHANGED THE GAME FOR YOU!" while simultaneously ignoring the public outcry for this decision to be reverted. It also doesn't help that most people didn't want this change in the first place, so that "We listen to the fans" sounds more like "We decided you like this now."

You are right, but the community needs to band together and hold Embark accountable. The problem is not only the severe lack of communication from the same company that said that this was their dream game, but also the division of the community to show the displease with the actual state of the game. Look at Helldivers 2 for example, they challenged SONY, a company 100 times larger than Nexon/Embark and flooded steam with negative reviews. Everyone took part in it, and forced the hand of the company to take accountability. In Europe, its vacation season and the euros are taking place, so I imagine that half of the team has taken their leave. Still, as you said, the LEAST they could do is to ADDRESS the community. ADDRESS that TA is causing a decrease in the games' numbers and a lower time spent in game. ADDRESS the cheater situation. ADDRESS the weapon balancing decisions: What is the reasoning behind the devs decision to balance weapons/gadgets??? Make the process TRANSPARENT and you will not only get support from your players, but also FREE ADVERTISEMENT. Players talking to each other saying that a game is awesome, and that the devs ACTUALLY LISTEN and CARE are the best ads you can ask for. Introduce polling into your discord. Let your Community Managers @bitter nexus @golden musk @feral osprey actually act as mediators for future decisions. Let the finals be a game where your players have a say that can actually impact the future of the game. If not, you can take a look at Rocket League, a game that had a lot of promise and a big playerbase. Then Epic came through and borderline abandoned it, milked its players and are just playing the waiting game. YOU CAN DO BETTER EMBARK. AN APOLOGY OR AT LEAST AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT YOU F******ED UP IS OKAY AND YOU WILL APPEAR AS HUMAN. WHAT IS YOUR ROADMAP FOR THIS GAME. WHAT IS YOUR END GOAL HERE? There is straight up discrimination against melee in Terminal Attack. While Cashout and all other game modes have yielded maybe 3 instances of toxic behavior towards me since the Open Beta, Ranked Terminal Attack has over doubled that in 2 days. I am specifically called out as being the problem regardless of if other teammates are struggling. Today I spent a lot of a round just eating bullets for my carries (TRACK DAMAGE BLOCKED ON RIOT SHIELD) but I still had some kills and assists. Did the carries who I was guarding blame the guy with 0 kills and 1k Combat Score? No. They blamed the tank who sacrificed his life for their killing spree as the problem.
The second I appear on the loadout screen, I'm hit with the "Why don't you just play XP-54?" and "We should just leave..." Being shamed for your loadout before the game even begins can hinder your ability to play well. You either go in ashamed and lack the mental fortitude to make the correct decisions in the heat of combat, or are enveloped in a desire to prove them wrong resulting in needlessly reckless behavior. But what if you do well? What if, despite the hardships of being countered by the game mode itself and being deemed a heretic by your peers, you still manage to perform well?

I had a game where, despite it being Terminal Attack on Vegas while I was playing Riot Shield (Vegas is really bad for Riot Shield), I was wrecking shop and cleaning up. I was one of the carries, being the last man standing multiple times and securing a triple or two. Despite my value to the team and top score, a Light with half my Elims decided they wanted to Shield Shame me the ENTIRE GAME! IDK if he was just blindly hating me for being a Riot Shield or if he was projecting because one of the worst weapons in the game was twice as good as his meta build, but that behavior is low-key psychotic and is being cultivated in the cesspool that is Terminal Attack.

There should be loss forgiveness for players who backfill on losing power shift games. Just backfilled a game that the opposing team had the platform about 90% (or more) to their base... The best I could do was chuck a few grenades before the game ended.

They listen to player feedback and implement patches for requested features or at least acknowledge them. They REVERT decisions based on community discontent. I spent like 3 hours writing this (And 5 and a half additional hours sending it one piece at a time) so I don't know if I missed something in there or not, but here you go.
I know most of the community is just saying "Bring back Cashout" and not explaining WHY Terminal Attack is so hated and I feel like I covered those bases.
TL;DR, Terminal Attack is slow, unengaging, unbalanced, toxic, not rewarding, not satisfying, not fun, and not THE FINALS.
Please make it make sense to me, because the more I have to think about that wretched mode, the more I wonder how you made such a big mistake in the first place. I NEED to know what's happening at Embark HQ. Are you ignoring us out of pride, or hiding out of regret and fear.
One Article said it was so you could do maintenance on Cashout and you didn't want to do that while it was the competitive mode. Seems strange since no other game does that.
Another article says it's because it will rank you based on your personal skill as a player and encourage team play, but that can't be the reason since Terminal Attack is HORRIFICALLY unbalanced, removes loadout options completely, and invalidates key aspects of certain playstyles.
It removes “Team Play” from the team game and only rewards your “Personal Skill” based on if your “skill” is using a 1v5 OP meta loadout or not.
If increasing "Team Play" was the reason for making Terminal Attack the Ranked mode, then how come everyone is just running solo builds and doing their own thing while team-oriented builds are all but outlawed in the game mode?
I- I don't know how this happened nor why it is still the competitive mode after such resounding hatred. For the sake of THE FINALS, I hope Cashout is back AT MOST by Season 4, because that hope is the only reason most people are still playing the game.

I love TA, mainly because it's 2 teams mode. What i don't like about it, is a big downtime between rounds. How about removing it, by giving players ability to adjust their loadout for the next round while they are playing or dead, for example through main menu?

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

- so whats bad about low grav? as a movement player i find low grav very annoying, yeah sure it make hard jump easier and impossible jump now possible but in combat it make jumping a death wish as it make you a very easy target when falling.

Season 3 changes are mostly good. Health regen values, guardian turret change, glitch mine rework, and gadget changes are all good. Alongside some minor weapon tweaks and improvements to useability such as KS-23 pump rate.
Remember when cloak light db spam that can 2-shot any class in S1? Well, now we have throwing knives (nobody still uses the alt-fire post nerf only spam) and db is back to being able to 2-shot any class. I'm starting to see triple db teams in WT now. Repeat of OB and S1.
Remember when light stun gun spam giving free kills? Well, now we have the winch claw for heavy that not only stuns, but also pulls and allows them to do a survivable point blank rpg.
What happened to the "long ttk" gameplay?
The CL40 was given a damage nerf and a fire rate buff, making it one of the second lowest dps to the lowest dps weapon. The only possible reason for this is due to it's burst being too good in TA but in TTK, it's one of the slowest and will lose most duels if not careful. It counters L, mid to M, and weak to H. This change made it unable to fight heavies at all. The pump rate and fire rate would also be considered as a nerf as due to it depleting the 4 rounds quicker and spending more time instead with the long reload.
In s2 ranked, despite it being a poor pick, I still brought it to plat. It's main gimmick is despite the low dps, you need to play safely/area denial/insane movement and learn its trajectory for mid-long shots. Before the change, the fire rate, reload, and ammo was low but it was rewarding to hit direct hits. Now it barely tickles H or other M.
M feels terrible to play this season. L is buffed and M's counter is weakened.
Overall. Didn't care about TA, but if core game and balance changes are catered to it instead of the core gameplay of the game it will mess up balances for other modes. Showing more that, already built gameplay and balance isn't fit for it. Most of the patch felt like tossing out the balance work made during s1 and s2.
I feel you man, I'm in the same boat. Best example I have is a match I played yesterday, I picked heavy with a flamethrower for my daily challenges and apparently EVERY enemy I was up against was a Light with Throwing knives. Literally 7 out of the 9 people in the match were Lights with Throwing knives. I can deal with one, maybe two lights at a time, but 6 of 'em? Don't get me wrong, I don't think heavy is anywhere near useless atm, but you are at a solid disadvantage if everyone else is Light.
I didn't mind the buff to throwing knives at first but atm it's clear they've overdone it. I'd say they either have to nerf the damage a bit to ~50 per hit or increase the time between the 2 knife "bursts". Having what is essentially a bottomless magazine with the knives is already such an advantage at close range. #👂┇game-feedback message

Team comp should be prioritized for ranked TA. Having a limit on how many players pick a certain class ex: 2 light, 2 medium and 1 heavy’s would balance the game tremendously. Like how OverWatch has it.

- RPG > damage reduced DMG from 140 to 100, full damage only on direct hit
- Winch hook > remove from game, or rework it completely
- Mesh shield > Reduced HP from 750 to 700
- M60 > increase damage drop off range by 10 meters
- Lewis gun > clean up the recoil pattern to be less aggressive horizontally
- Charge and slam > reduce damage by half so you cant instantly kill M's, reduce cooldown. Should be more utility than 1 shot cheese.
Medium:
- Recon senses > re-add to game - rework to be a single ping like recon nades but originating from the player. 3 charges with a pretty long recovery time
- Turret > Add a attack delay of 0.3s so it doesnt instantly shoot if you are in its FOV
- Defib > Remove invincibility time after getting ressed
- FCAR > 3rd shot of recoil jumps way to hard right, reduce that horizontal recoil
- FAMAS > Increase damage drop off range, replace the terrible ironsights with RDS or holo.
- R.357 > increase damage drop off range and slightly lower reload time
Light:

Cash-out should periodically give cash over time in a couple of instances (ie: 3k-5k-10k). Many high ELO games just becomes stalling for first 75% CO the time.

Remove Terminal attack from the game permanently, you cant balance the game for TA and CO at the same time, one will always suffer
Considering normal game modes (like quick cash, cash out, etc.), the game feels REALLY balanced right now. Please don't rock the boat too much with future updates. Each class is in a really good place right now, with just the right amount of strengths and weaknesses.

Stun Rework Suggestion: Make it full stun, no actions allowed, but the player has to HOLD the Stun Gun, so he can't attack while someone is stunned. This way its a good team gagdet, but no 1v1 free kill.

Majority of devs at Embark also associated with Dice so this would be the perfect callback to when Battlefield was good

Game Mode Idea: 5v5 (or 4v4) Capture The Flag/TDM styled mode where both teams fight to bring ONE vault to a Cash-Out.
To be more specific about said game mode, each team would be limited to prevent an annoying same-class team. There could be one heavy, two mediums, and two lights, or however the team would like to set up their play style, but only a limit of two L, H, or M classes per side.
Each team fights for a single vault placed in the middle of the map or at some point along the center axis. If one team successfully puts the vault in the cash out now, it becomes a TA of defense and attack.
If the team successfully cashes out, they are granted $10k. If the team is prevented from cashing out, they only receive the amount they collected from the time the vault was inside to the time it was stolen or deactivated.
The first team to reach $15k or $20k wins. Just like in a ranked match, the team that was wiped loses money, but it is less punishable, so up to -20% of the cash would be subtracted from the current amount.
The game mode would be called “Capture Cash” or “Capture the Vault” (the name is not final). It could possibly be a ranked game mode.
(Note: Just an idea. There may be a ton of loopholes).
RPG is completely fine.
Heavy is a close range class now they've nerfed the Lewis and M40 into the ground. So it works as the one reliable long-range option the class has. And even then, it has one shot and a cooldown.
Ooh, it splash damages people? So does a grenade, which is the closest analog.
Ooh, it's unfair heavy gets a super-grenade? So what? Medium can deploy jump pads and revive people, and Light can stun and glitch people. All are equally as powerful class-specific gadgets that are just as close to 1:1 picks too.
Every class has imbalanced gadgets to mitigate their weaknesses, and people heavily pick them as a result.
The RPG (like the Winch) is a one-time emergency punish for people who try to kite the class, for which it'd otherwise have no answer. It serves a really important place in keeping the meta honest.

@pearl kiln can we PLEASE get a fix to the visual recoil of the V9S? it just doesnt make sense to me that this is what I have to look at if I wanna hit headshots with this gun, the M11 and XP allow for headshot chains very easily and the V9S (a single shot gun that should support better aim) straight up blocks any kind of consistent aiming with its own model.

Damn, the game isn't the same as it used to be. The TA mode for ranked has really destroyed the only good thing about the game. What made The Finals special was the Cash Out mode. Now that the main ranked mode is TA, it's just not good—5/10.
Another issue is that, starting with Season 3, we only got one new map and a few new weapons and gates. It would have been nice to have more weapons. Lastly, the team really went overboard with the nerfing of the light class, especially when playing ranked. Playing as the light class now feels like playing with glass.
Overall, it could have been a lot better. I hope in the next few updates we get Cash Out back as the main ranked mode instead of TA.

We definitely need a parkour update/revamp, this game should feel fast paced especially with light class and yet usually you just get stuck on every other thing by an inch, things like some wall running and vault bouncing (when you vault on something after falling down on something and instead of playing the slow animation it is much faster) and just more ways to get momentum

The only real updates are really just seasons starting or the mid season update, I feel like throughout the season you should at least be adding more map variations, or revamping game events because let’s be honest, the main 2 that actually affect the game are low grav and meteor and one of those is like a 2% chance (also add a flood event that would be fun)

Winch Claw feels amazing to use - so please don’t gut it - but can feel terrible to play against because it can so easily become an inevitable and inescapable death, especially for L/M classes.
WC should not be a free effective oneshot, like old Roadhog. It should be a displacement tool - for players and objects - that aids CQB but doesn’t grant it excessive power.
The best way to nerf its effectiveness against players without harming its object utility would be to prevent it from pulling players any closer than, say, 6m. This would give winched players the space and opportunity to more effectively fight back or flee without instantly suffering extreme damage.
It would remove the KS + Melee oneshot combo, the easy and extreme SA12 bursting, and the often inescapable melee death. All of which are the most oppressive and frustrating elements for opposing players.
The commonly suggested nerf of reducing its maximum range would not address these oppressive aspects and would hurt its utility when it comes to objects such as cashouts, revive totems, etc.
It would also still allow Mesh Shield to be of some use to the winched player given some distance would be maintained between the two players, as opposed to the current iteration which is simply a hard counter.

There is 0 natural counterplay, if a heavy sees you with his rpg out and he isn't dogshit, he will hit that rpg and you will take shitloads of damage. Grenades are fine because you can see them on the floor and move away from them, that is natural counterplay. It's also impact splash damage which means it directly discourages playing with your team. in a team based game. this is fine for something like the cl-40 because its a primary weapon, your playstyle is locked into using it. rpg is a gadget you can throw out and then switch back. It is not "fine" lol

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

These DEVS should really think about damage per second..... Mele damage on a quick moving and hard to hit target should not be able to kill so fast. Just food for thought.
the counterplay being to also use rpg:
Heavy:
- RPG > damage reduced DMG from 140 to 100, full damage only on direct hit
- Winch hook > remove from game, or rework it completely
- Mesh shield > Reduced HP from 750 to 700
- M60 > increase damage drop off range by 10 meters
- Lewis gun > clean up the recoil pattern to be less aggressive horizontally
- Charge and slam > reduce damage by half so you cant instantly kill M's, reduce cooldown. Should be more utility than 1 shot cheese.
Medium:
- Recon senses > re-add to game - rework to be a single ping like recon nades but originating from the player. 3 charges with a pretty long recovery time
- Turret > Add a attack delay of 0.3s so it doesnt instantly shoot if you are in its FOV
- Defib > Remove invincibility time after getting ressed
- FCAR > 3rd shot of recoil jumps way to hard right, reduce that horizontal recoil
- FAMAS > Increase damage drop off range, replace the terrible ironsights with RDS or holo.
- R.357 > increase damage drop off range and slightly lower reload time

What they can do is updates to make terminal attack less terrible by reducing the amount of rounds by half, limiting how many of each class can be on one team, etc. @night glen The faster and harder you are to hit the more damage you should take from melee. Skill issue if you are using dash and being hit by hammer for example.
If the different health pools are designed to help balance classes, then why is there a flat 100 hp recovery for all classes in TA? Lights recover 67% of their health. Mediums recover 40%. Heavies recover 29%. If you are not going to add healing beam into TA (because it is an anti team play game mode) then at least make the recoverable health a % hp increase. The game mode is actual ass tho and not sure it is worth even trying to save.
Um, yes it should. Melees have to take the most risk in the game to fight someone, they can't stick behind cover and shoot someone from far away, they have to be in the enemy's face to even be able to do damage. Plus, this means that they receive full damage without any falloff while they try to smack you with their weapon. If they fail to keep up while chasing you down they're done for. (Unless it's the sword, that thing's just annoying to fight)
With the new patch approaching, Id ask the devs to consider fixing and buffing the dual blades, their fun, but weak, Im sure the data supports that

- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored four bullets every second, 50 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

No melee is able to out DPS any gun no matter what, and in most cases that wont even matter since all u have to do against a melee guy is stand back while u shoot. very simple counter
also, heavy is not able to be one tapped. while there are ways to kill heavys very quickly (such as the double barrel and dagger, which kills heavies in about 1 sec when paired with a melee), most strategies/loadouts are inconsistent damage-wise if not mastered, which is the case with most people, so if you arent able to counter them within that MINIMUM of 2 seconds, its a skill issue im afraid.
i agree with ur other statements that the game isnt as rewarding without cashout ranked, but dont be spreading lies that heavy is in any way "too weak" or "too hard to survive with", thats the light's job.

I think its ability to bring in players should be reduced, it’s incredibly frustrating to be winched in as a light and be doomed regardless of what I do, since they can combo any weapon into it for easy kills.
I.e. winch->quick melee->sledgehammer. If you don’t have dashes or a grapple you died because you were within 20m of a heavy with an ability on a 6/12 second cooldown.
I think its ability to manipulate the environment should be buffed, as in being able to remove chunks of a wall just by hitting it, increase the range for non-enemy claws.
What in tf determines how much I gain or lose in a terminal attk? I went 11-5 winning 7-3 and got 900. I went 6-7 and lost 4-7 and lost 1,200. Make that make sense? Because that doesn't seem fair at all.

Sniper bodyshot damage is too strong. It's too easy for a Light to lock down the entire cart in Powershift while sitting on the other side of the map. I'm bored of having to drop what I'm doing to switch to a sniper hunter loadout every match and my goal turns entirely into griefing their sniper until he picks another loadout.

If the sniper you are going against is trash, then your point is valid. If the sniper is actually good, it does not matter if you swap to sniper to try to counter them. Ive done it myself against people like you and beat them. The sniper is good where its at. If you gonna nerf the damage, then increase the magazine size and the rate of fire. Also, the bow also one shots in the head at lights and i dont see complaints here. The only 'good'nerf to the sniper would be to add bullet drop
Even if it does winch you, it puts you at headshot range or if you swapped to charge and slam, it's just a 'Heavy' counter once you're winched in

the point of the mesh shield build is to block incoming dmg such as a wench attack. and the attack is so fast its a skill to block it and it should totally deplete a mesh shield maybe to make it more fair. i still think it should be allowed to be blocked

yall gotta make some sort of punishment or rep score for leaving games so often. I dont think ive played a game in months that didnt have someone leave cause they got butthurt that they died or lost site.
Most games a team will lose a cashout, one will leave, then the rest will leave. I have played many games, often every day, where both teams completely leave the game. Then other people join an empty team and leave too.
I appreciated the lax treatment towards being able to leave a game if something irl came up, but this system is getting way too abused. It is very demotivating and annoying to play a game without a full team, and it is also not very fun to play against teams that are not full.
I understand this really only applies to casual, but it is WAY too common now. There needs to be some sort of reputation score that punishes players for frequently leaving games. Very often it is also the lights that leave the game, and they already lose most of their games so making the game a loss for them is not even close to enough to discourage this problem.
I know damn well that half of these people leaving games are getting mad that they cant 1v6 and win and continually leave games until they get to play against bots. This game is about teamplay, not leaving the game because the enemy team didn't like that you sniped them nonstop.
Nearly every game I join in solo queue is filling someone elses spot. Often I join a game on the losing side, no surprise. This is going to further ruin the casual experience.

Fix or replace the spear's right click it's janky as hell. You could be right next to someone and still deal zero damage. Not to mention the fact you can't cancel it. You're a sitting duck if a light has a single dash charge when you activate it. I mean c'mon give us a reason to use it.

Snipers are a massive problem in TA. You cannot outplay it unless you have a sniper of your own. and they get free value just from getting picked. even if you dont kill anyone with them, simply getting the free damage off is enough to sway an entire round. They're even good at close range because the unscoped accuracy is still insane. Please look into it.

The 93R changes that came with this season were, in my eyes, f*cking stupid. The 93R's only pro it ever had was that it was good ONLY when dealing with headshots. That sort of thing is limited to a much smaller player group, and the fact that anyone barely sees the 93R, if at all, proves this. So reducing the burst rate while decreasing recoil, sorry, is still a NERF. The DPS was nerfed, which means that no matter how you tried to explain it, you NERFED what was considered the worst gun for Light.
So, instead, significantly increase the rate of fire again and increase damage. Range and recoil may be nerfed to compensate. A fair change and an actual proper buff.

I... know this is a minor issue, but when it comes to fashion, could you add more masks like the Butcher mask where it can be worn with helmets (like the straw hat that came with the season)? As it stands, there's no easy way to quickly access sprays or mini emotes, or sounds other than your main one, making them all severely underused.
I don't see why the emote wheel can't just be be a 6-way, fully-customisable wheel, where you can add whatever you want.
Feels like a very easy fix, and from a business standpoint you'll actually sell a lot more sprays, sounds and mini emotes if people can actually use the damn things conveniently, instead of standing still while they navigate a bunch of sub menus.

Light doesn’t have enough health/the global damage levels of the game are excessive. You will die in the blink of an eye to a myriad of things, including regular gunfire.
This means:

In high-level coordinated teamplay (Cashout) Light is shut down far too easily and is thus largely redundant.

To be viable, Light needs extreme burst damage, exceeding the already excessive global damage levels. This leads to utter domination of uncoordinated and more casual modes.
It’s not fun to be insta-gibbed as Light and it’s not fun to be insta-gibbed by Light. Increasing survivability/reducing global damage levels would relax Light’s dependency upon extreme burst damage, solving both issues.

90% of the playerbase doesn't even touch ranked, even in the past seasons. For good reasons too. TA being the ranked mode pisses off an even less amount of people compared to that, because there is a schism in that already small amount between people who might see TA as a better format compared to cashout and people who disagree.
So yes, ranked being a bust is business as usual for the majority of players. Its cope to say most people care.
That is not to say whether or not its the right decision, that's just to correct your bullshit. Your server issues point is moot, because it fluctuates, and its been doing that since the start of the game. That's not an issue of this season exclusively. Address it correctly as an issue, and don't use it to hate something that obviously didn't create it.
This season is really great, in spite of the one thing that created controversy in a group that is a minority at best. Its more of the finals, and yes, ranked being this way may suck for a bunch of people, but its not like they can't do cashout or not play the game. The only people who can't are the ultra sweaty players who only play ranked and nothing else, and thats assuming they all share the same opinion of TA being bad for ranked.

Stun Rework Suggestion: Make it full stun, no actions allowed, but the player has to HOLD the Stun Gun, so he can't attack while someone is stunned. This way it's a good team gagdet, but no 1v1 free kill.

For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:

-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".

This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.

I feel like the Finals is lacking a good sense of progression.
Levels capped, doesn't show in match, can't see others stats comparisons, lack of interactivity in general.
COD has that nailed down, people, especially in shooters inherently love to show off how 'good they are', comparing stats with friends, competing with others in private 1v1s with no respawn time etc.
It lacks that factor massively, big issue with halo infinite too

Imagine, the top "companies" -as mentioned above- or top ranked contestants UNLOCK or are invited to be an in-game streamer.
Lol hear me out: in game they can now see how many of US are watching THEM play The Finals.
Kinda like, we make the top 500 leaderboard more useful since we can click on their position on the leaderboard and watch them if they are currently in game, or if they have any clips uploaded. *And this makes things more competitive since they have direct line of sight for anyone logging into the game and looking at the leaderboard.
Of course a lot of the top Finalists are already on twitch but that would be such a flex. We could also make it a twitch integration kinda thing on top.

New Game Mode Concept: ✨"Blitz"✨Day 4
Here is an idea for a new game mode in The Finals, inspired by Hardpoint
CORE PRINCIPLES:
Appeal to new players:
Faster respawns and a focus on maintaining control of a designated area make it easier to jump in and contribute.
Fast-paced and engaging:
Short to medium length matches and constant objective switching keep the action flowing.
Teamwork encouraged:
Earning money is based on team presence within the zone, rewarding coordinated pushes and revives.
- I believe the long respawns in every game mode has turned away a lot of people. "Fast paced & Chaotic" don't seem palatable when mixed with high respawn times. I understand we want to incentivise team work, revives, and strategy but I think a game mode with fast respawns is well overdue in a game like The Finals.
GAMEPLAY:
Team Setup:
Two options for team size: 3 teams of 4 players.
- Here I want to increase team size because I feel like people want bigger team sizes in the finals and we want a lot of destruction.
I feel like 3 teams of 4 wouldn't be too much and would be fun for a casual game mode.
Blitz Zone:
A designated area on the map becomes the objective (Blitz Zone or whatever it's named). It can be circular, shaped like a building, or highlighted by a beam.
Earning Money:
Teams earn money based on the number of players within the Blitz Zone. More teammates present translates to higher earnings per tick.
Example:
-One person in the area will earn the base amount of points - $10 per tick
-Two people earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS $5 each (since there are 2 team mates inside.)
-Three people all earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $10 each (since there are 3 team mates inside
-Full team will receive a base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $15 or $20 (since there is a full team alive in the zone)
Penalties & Rewards:
"Direct Deposit" - Kills have a small siphon effect where you take money from the enemy you killed and it's added to your team total balance.
NOTE: Only kills between players inside the Blitz Zone have siphon effect. ✨Clutch players rejoice✨
"Team wipe" aka "Bankruptcy" - Same as cashout, you loose a percentage of your teams balance if your whole team is dead at the same time.
("Bankruptcy" might be too much for a casual mode since it makes another variable to calculate mid gunfight. Might but be good for the gamer that wants to just shut their brain off. If they play this and don't care about score tm8s will complain and ruin the mood... 🤷🏾♂️)
Match Duration:
The game lasts between 5-10 minutes with the Blitz Zone active for 2-4 minutes before switching to a new location.
Suggestion:
For all casual modes, turn on auto Re-que. It's a wise decision.
This is a starting point, and all aspects are open for discussion and refinement.

Are you able to add the possibility to block damned swords, spears? Being a riot shield player, I can't even get close to sword players, not talking already about blocking their hits. Shield isn't able to block melee, what?
I had an idea very similar to yours, except, mine was called Zone Wars. It was basically your idea, but the map was split into seven zones. There were two teams of 5 (or 6) and whoever held the zone long enough/got a certain amount of points would win that zone. The goal was to win 4 zones. Also, the objective was squarish and worked somewhat like the platform from Powershift, where if a zone was neutral or was being taken over by an enemy team, there was a small "stealing" mechanic with the alarm from Cashout.

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Hey Embark I hope you see this, what I felt that I loved about season 1 and what everyone else loved about season 1 was the weekly community events that would involve game modes that were slightly tweaked, like for instance ; solo bank it or the cowboy cash out game mode.
Although in the recent weeks (month(s) we have been lacking that and instead been given balance changes that are needed, but not what we want.
For a conclusion what I am asking for is at least one community event every 3 weeks making the game even more fresh than it already is ❤️.

Be nice to have some priority for respawn points to not be near enemy teams. Even have some backup emergency spawn spots just in the rare case enemies are too near any of the main ones.
Its become pretty agitating to spawn directly in front of a team of 3 , like directly in front. And immediately get gunned down. Like more than 2x a match is ridiculous especially with limited respawns, and excessively long timers.

Give Medium a recon drone they can set to auto patrol for enemies. either ground based or air based. Enemies can be pinged automatically by the drones field of view and will function the same as pinging a spotted enemy as a player, instead of the Recon Senses that were in the game previously. This would give the medium some more viability in terminal attack as well as improving its support role in other game modes. Whether this should be a gadget or specialization Id be open to comments from others because I’m not sure what’s it be better suited as.

Soo true man, me and my friends had some rank a few weeks ago were our team had unranked people on it and enemy team had gold and silver, and another time 1 light is sniper in kyoto that head us true forest and even in spawn with no miss….Is like i got tired of unfairplay, at least if i m on theam of 4/5 at least be more forgiving with the points i lose, smthing like that. One major change i might think of for TA to be “ competitive “ is to make all people play same class in a round, and let them chose weapons and stuff like that and see who mastered the class better then others, cause like i said is not far for a medium to fight a light with sniper, same for a light against a heavy with a hammer and chain, or a heavy against db with invis and taze. Six, cs, val, yah for those game works cause is almost same class not 3 different hp pole.

Hi, great work, guys, please make manual allocation to teams in the lobby, we often gather with friends +8 people and would like to have the opportunity to choose their own teams and be able to play 2x2x2х2, also want to add that lacks the ability to organize matches each for himself (return at least in the custom lobby) and please add the ability to control the weather and map effects.
This update will make a difference! I know the first three updates of the worst and most ridiculous season were empty updates but it's just because Embark was preparing for a big fix to amend all mistakes! Can't wait to see many gameplay changes and not just a frog onesie!

Stun Rework Suggestion: Make it full stun, no actions allowed, but the player has to HOLD the Stun Gun, so he can't attack while someone is stunned. This way it's a good team gagdet, but no 1v1 free kill.

Is it understood that cashouts only giving points when they finish encourages 3rd partying and not objective control?
I think casual quickplay cashout would benefit from points being split between control and the cashout finishing.
50 cash per second for the 120 second cashout timer (to which ever team is currently in control of the cashout) total = 6,000
Cashout completion (which ever team controls cashout at the 120th second) gives 4,000
Still 20,000 required to win a game.
This is rudimentary and more of an example. The main idea is to encourage a more intuitive skill-based playstyle of control while still including the more unpredictable 3rd partying somewhat for casual uncertainty each game.

This would actually be a very smart fix to the problem that most of us when playing cashout, still incorporating that burst of adrenaline when you just stole the cashout at the last second but making It slightly less rewarding.

theres collision problems regarding one of the stairs in one of the buildings in kyoto. cant send an image but the exact location of the stairs of said buildings is the one that leads you to a bamboo forest from the building, the stairs have 5 steps in total
its a general issue with the wooden stairs into Buildings, the one next to yellow building in the water also has that issue
In patchnotes there were notes that bug with winch claw was fixed, where you stay in a captured state even after death but it still present, only fix is to discconect and reconnect, that drives me mad

Throwing knives need to be nerfed. They used to be a weapon for skilled players, a weapon that's hard to use but can dish out a lot of damage. Nowadays every PS lobby has at least one Light(if not half the lobby) using them. Not every weapon needs to have a low skill ceiling. It feels like literally change to Lights is just to appease the solo players who don't understand that class and just want easy kills. I do think it's important to cater to the casual audience in a game clearly not built for the competetive scene, but if literally every casual lobby is predominantly populated by one class, you know something's not right.
Man i m not saying heavy is week, i m saying thay he s to op, melee is one tap for medium and light, hammer does 300+ dmg in one heavy swing, true stay away and fighting back is a good tactic , but not now, they chain you close and get killed in 1 sec, what i said is from a medium main, got sick of getting killed by heavy not been able to fright. When i m winning a fight against them they charge me and 180 in one go, then when i manage to get away bam rpg in the face another 140….i don’t know what you understand in my text …. Mechanically this game is the best (besides Apex Legends) but the lack of players is killing It - the vast quantity of game modes doesn`t contribute to that either.

EMBARK Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode. WE NEED THIS IN THE FINALS.

Alright, I'm gonna say it because it's all I see in games. The light class is the best one in the game. Regularly I get matches where a team is only lights, and they are frustrating to fight against. Why? The dash ability they get. It's impossible to fight a team that just blinks around you and guns you down.
I would suggest 1 of 2 options... add a longer recharge for dashes, so that using them needs to be more planned than spammed, or, have 1 less dash... if I had to choose, I'd say the first one, cause I know yall won't get rid of the ability, even if I think it should be.
as a hardcore light main since OB, i think there should be some reworks so it’s a little less prevalent without removing its viability from certain modes.

add a cooldown for dashes, and increase charge time. A dash can be used to outsmart opponents in the middle of a battle, but because they recharge so fast and can be used in quick succession, dash has become a constant tool to simply move faster and run away before anyone can shoot back.

give grapple hook an additional charge. it’s fine right now for getting verticality, but is essentially useless once you use it, or during a gunfight. an additional charge means it keeps that sense of verticality, but also gives players the ability to strategize with the grapple hook while in battle, swinging from one point to another to get a better angle on the enemy. by far the most useless and frustrating ability for lights rn

cloak is pretty much fine as-is, i would suggest maybe lowering the volume because it’s pretty easy to spot without it right now, and the noise gives players with a headset a clear advantage against lights.
everyone says it, but throwing knives need a serious nerf, they’re just a gimmick atp and don’t really take any skill.

i get what ur saying but if u look at what light players are running it’s like 60% dash, 30% invis and maybe 10 % grapple. i don’t think dash is necessarily OP, it just is the only ability that helps during a gunfight, whereas the other two are more about mobility and catching the opponent by surprise. once u get the hang of mobility (window jumps, gateway, etc.) and learn to sneak up effectively (invis bomb, sonar grenade, etc.) the most effective ability is easily the dash.
i also think that bc dash is much easier to control and far more responsive, an extra grapple charge would not make it better than dash in a lot of circumstances
You see lights everywhere in casual because casual is all about fun, people play for fun, with whatever they find fun. So happens light is fun.
On a competitive level where the game should be balanced around, light is nowhere near the best. It has always been, and still is Heavy.
Nerfing based on uncoordinated casuals' shitty feedback is why we're here, and why LH1 got giga buffed at the start of the season.

I understand your suggestions and arguments but quite frankly as a player who plays all three classes( to better understand all abilities and counters) + has leveled up all gadgets and specializations to 5 ( except for dAPS turret at 4 because it's xp gain is at max 800 a match with 80% time use : that too in PowerShiFt with everyone spamming projectiles) ---
Dash is fine ( needs skill to use and for players to counter it )- at a great place actually, even the grapple is okay, the recharge is fine too... could be a little quicker but then it would be a better pick against dash then....but invis is the one needed to be nerfed. - thank God for the sound alert everyone gets when someone is using Invis - invis ability is kinda the same as the wall hack that mediums had.
- low skill and shines especially when there is chaos cuz you're getting all the cheap kills + I absolutely do not like players who use invis and snipe --- the game allows it but I think it's super cheap ( so I make it a point to hunt them down and make it miserable for them )

That's not possible. Simply because casuals don't have the capacity to understand what is balanced and what not.
Say how they complained about cloak now it's nerfed to the ground? How they still believe RPG is balanced? How they think heavy is weak and needs buffs? How they think light is overpowered?
Anyone with more than 2 braincells and a single match on ranked cashout would instantly figure it out.
It's impossible to balance the game for both and should only be balanced around players who understand the game.
it is possible, but admittedly difficult. Casuals may not be able to express what is or isn't balanced, but casuals still play games in large numbers and Embark still has to appeal to them if they want a healthy userbase. That doesn't mean Embark should be simply balancing on what casuals say they want, Embark has the data, if Lights are absolutely dominant in casual play and it is turning off a large chunk of casual players that needs to be fixed, but it needs to be fixed in a way that doesn't ruin the game for ranked players.

According to our unique experiences we tend to formulate what should be, balances and fixes aren't easy, and if you pay attention to the community 80% of suggestions are things that would make their favorite class better vs abilities, weapons and gadgets that people have problem countering with.
Most of these issues would be easily understood if the players didn't specialize in playing only one class... You gotta play the classes you are struggling with to understand the abilities and limitations...

They need to make a "squad" system next season.
For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:
-Vaiiya
-Volpe
-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)
This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.
Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.
This creates urgency AND rarity since -for example- the season 4 OSPUZE set will never show up again. (Same for Engimo, Vaiiya, etc.)

Terminal Attack is the new ranked mode though as it stands, and lights are probably the strongest class to use in it. I don't think light is overpowered in Cashout mode for the record. But that's just because of mediums healing beam combined with heavy negating damage. Light is NOT overpowered in cash out it's actually pretty balanced. But if only one class has true long range weapon options and get scouting tools like thermal bore and sonar and gets to be invisible that's a very strong combo in TA. At least on defense

Indeed mate, I have 100% faith in Embark, but not in Nexon. IMHO, the fundamental issue is the TA as ranked game mode & matchmaking for solo q.
TA is the best gamemode around dun remove it pls
to avoid shitty tactic like snipers at super long ranges or incently sized maps that can cause unfair attacking methods or very annoying flanking from one or 2 defenders, they could create these map sections that optimise how the map plays depending on where the terminals are palced, they do this in the tutotials, I don't see why doing it on a larger scale would be a bad thing for TA, obv in training its just one terminal, but this could solve the issue where attackers have 17 lanes and defenders can take the most overpowered sidelines with snipers or have insane unfair flanks.
- Make this a Thread Channel with 1 post per player = no flooding Yayy common sense
- Terminal Attack ranked system doesn't work without Skill Based Match Making, you will get griefed by smurfs. Higher RS will queue with low RS smurfs so they will have small loss and big win. It is also unfair for new players to go up against diamonds/top 500
- If I solo queue I shouldn't go up against a 3,4 or 5 stack premade teams, it should only be other solo queue players
- Add Kill Cams, makes it easier to discern if the player is using walls or aimbot
- Add regular ranked
- Better Anti Cheat (DMA Bypasses Easy Anti - Cheat, that's why you have a cheater epidemic)
- Balance
- A lot of unranked players are cheaters, they ruin ranked for everyone else and once they get banned they make a new account,** Better Anti Cheat or IP Ban is the only solution **
- Play Test your game, none of these issues would be present if you did play testing (You can die off spawn in Terminal Attack)
- Quick scoping with the sniper doesn't produce a light glare which is op, perfect accuracy and if they run invis you won't know where they're gonna strike.
- The Cheaters who try hide it have the fastest time to kill, that's a dead giveaway
The Finals devs are the most incompetent dev team I've ever seen(I say incompetent because they know the issues but they don't care), it's so obvious the issues of the game some playtesting will reveal it, but they don't play test. If the devs tried playing ranked they would fix it, but they don't
if they really were the most incompetent dev team, i dont think they'd have reverted the obscene LH1 buff, they would've not listened to us and removed bank it despite our pleas, and they sure as hell would not be putting out any community update videos.

Some ideas I had for like tweaks and buffs and such for various melee weapons:
- give TK a magazine of six daggers, basic fire throws one dagger at 45 damage and alt fire throws two daggers for 90(Same way as now)
-sword having stance based moves would be neat. Crouch slash is a wide sweep, jump slash is vertical upward strike, standing is normal slash, slashing out of sprint is a little spin move. For lung crouching makes you jump upwards in a stab, air lunge is a plunging stab, standing lunge is what we already have and sprinting lunge(you can sprint while holding lunge tho you move at the speed of a heavy sprinting) is a quick draw. You can put these moves together into combos(there is a list three moves back, if you repeat a move in this then the combo isn’t valid and has a long delay between the moves).
-double blades have reduced deflect spread
-riot shield is now a physical object that mines and such can be put on. Getting hit by a pyro grenade on the shield lights the shield on fire but not the user. Additionally while holding up the shield and hitting attack makes you shield bash, knocking back hit enemies.
-spear alt fire is now a throw, when you throw the spear it sticks to an enemy or surface and becomes a valid target for grapple or winch claw. Throwing a spear while another one is out despawns the previously thrown spear.
I seriously can’t believe out of all the fucking weapons they give to the light class. It’s the throwing knives that absolutely dominates this game. It’s so ridiculous.
5-7 loss, im 12-7, 8000 combat score, we had a dc for 3 rounds, an afk for 2 rounds. and i lose 1400. make it make sense

Here is an idea for a new game mode in The Finals, inspired by Hardpoint
CORE PRINCIPLES:
Appeal to new players:
Faster respawns and a focus on maintaining control of a designated area make it easier to jump in and contribute.
Fast-paced and engaging:
Short to medium length matches and constant objective switching keep the action flowing.
Teamwork encouraged:
Earning money is based on team presence within the zone, rewarding coordinated pushes and revives.
- I believe the long respawns in every game mode has turned away a lot of people. "Fast paced & Chaotic" don't seem palatable when mixed with high respawn times. I understand we want to incentivise team work, revives, and strategy but I think a game mode with fast respawns is well overdue in a game like The Finals.
GAMEPLAY:
Team Setup:
Two options for team size: 3 teams of 4 players.
- Here I want to increase team size because I feel like people want bigger team sizes in The Finals to play with more friends. Also we want a lot of destruction.
I feel like 3 teams of 4 would not be too much and would be fun for a casual game mode.
Blitz Zone:
A designated area on the map becomes the objective (Blitz Zone or whatever it's named). It can be circular, shaped like a building, or highlighted by a beam.
Earning Money:
Teams earn money based on the number of players within the Blitz Zone. More teammates present translates to exponentially higher earnings per tick.
Example:
-One person in the area will earn the base amount of points - $10 per tick
-Two people earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS $5 each (since there are 2 team mates inside.)
-Three people all earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $10 each (since there are 3 team mates inside
-Full team will receive a base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $15 or $20 EACH (since there is a full team alive in the zone)
Penalties & Rewards:
"Direct Deposit" - Kills have a small siphon effect where you take money from the enemy you killed and it's added to your teams total balance.
NOTE: Only kills between players inside the Blitz Zone have siphon effect. ✨Clutch players rejoice✨
"Team wipe" aka "Bankruptcy" - Same as cashout, you loose a percentage of your teams balance if your whole team is dead at the same time.
OR bankruptcy can have a short lock-out effect where a team might not be able to earn for a short period of time after respawning.
("Bankruptcy" might be too much for a casual mode since it makes another variable to calculate mid gunfight. Might but be good for the gamer that wants to just shut their brain off. If they play this and don't care about score tm8s will complain and ruin the mood... Maybe this is an idea for a less casual mode🤷🏾♂️)
Match Duration:
The game lasts between 5-10 minutes with the Blitz Zones active for 2-4 minutes each before switching to a new location.
Suggestion:
For all casual modes, turn on auto Re-que. It's a wise decision.
This is a starting point, and all aspects of Blitz are open for discussion and refinement.

you mean there was a skill gap between the 5 people who used TK and everyone else who didn't. usually when people aren't using a weapon, that indicates it doesn't perform well. This is why the double-barrel got buffed and is now currently more powerful than it was in season 1 when everyone bitched about it until it got nerfed into the floor and everyone stopped using it.

It's a real pain in the ass, and from what I can tell it's literally killing the Xbox player base. Log went from 35+ to consistently less than 20bin only a week pls fix this

Pregame Lobby & File share system:
I don't know how the new pregame Lobby would work but the current "lobby" system is kinda bare bones and doesn't do much for community.
I completely understand opting to omit a lobby and only have us talk to team mates since the game is pretty competitive
BUT
Having an ability to share clips or view clips would be cool.
Just sharing a thought here, still, I can't help but feel like the lobbies could be done so much better...
Spectate Mode:
This one I hold dear to my heart.
Imagine, the top "companies" -as mentioned above- or top ranked contestants UNLOCK or are invited to be an in-game streamer.
Lol hear me out: in game they can now see how many of US are watching THEM play The Finals.
Kinda like, we make the top 500 leaderboard more useful since we can click on their position on the leaderboard and watch them if they are currently in game, or if they have any clips uploaded. *And this makes things more competitive since they have direct line of sight for anyone logging into the game and looking at the leaderboard.
Of course a lot of the top Finalists are already on twitch but that would be such a flex. We could also make it a twitch integration kinda thing on top.

New mode idea:
Cash Grab / Coin Toss: in the practice arena is that wall where you can try throwing the cube through different holes. That got me thinking how fun it would be to have a football style game mode.
• Two teams battling over one cube, trying to snag it and throw it into one of the holes on the other team's wall to score points.
• I'm thinking 6v6: GK Heavy, Two Medium midfielders, 3 light attackers.
• Squad wipe would be a guaranteed goal though. So, maybe no respawn timer so the focus is always on out playing the other team and not just going for squad wipes.
• It could be done by using smaller sections of the maps that exist.

- Terminal Attack ranked system doesn't work without Skill Based Match Making, you will get griefed by smurfs. Higher RS will queue with low RS smurfs so they will have small loss and big win. It is also unfair for new players to go up against diamonds/top 500
- In World Tour you cannot switch loadouts, specialization I understand even though that is also stupid to not be able to change upon death
- If I solo queue I shouldn't go up against a 3,4 or 5 stack premade teams, it should only be other solo queue players
- Add Kill Cams, makes it easier to discern if the player is using walls or aimbot
- Add regular ranked
- Better Anti Cheat (DMA Bypasses Easy Anti - Cheat, that's why you have a cheater epidemic)
- Balance
- A lot of unranked players are cheaters, they ruin ranked for everyone else and once they get banned they make a new account,** Better Anti Cheat or IP Ban is the only solution **
- Play Test your game, none of these issues would be present if you did play testing (You can die off spawn in Terminal Attack)
- Quick scoping with the sniper doesn't produce a light glare which is op, perfect accuracy and if they run invis you won't know where they're gonna strike.
- The Cheaters who try hide it have the fastest time to kill, that's a dead giveaway

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam
When fixed load screen bug?
Buff thermal bore! Make it also stick on players and have AOE-damage. Making it much more fun
Would be nice Embark if you could separate premade squads from solo queue players.
Casual mode where you can swap loadouts freely like power shift? My favorite part of that mode but I prefer Cashout gameplay. I guess it could be added to quick cash too but unlimited counter picking is very unbalanced

Can we please please please fix the bugs in the game? Two of my teammates crashed and were each out two rounds, my audio got garbled and only emitted sound out of the right channel, all while getting severely outmatched by the other team. Totally unfair.

The finals went from one of the most fun games to the worst game I actively play. TA was the worst mistake ever. Refusing to listen to your community has permanently ruined your reputation and this game will never make it.

So I have a couple suggestions for future updates.

Make it available to show offline in-game. Sometimes I wouldnt want to be bothered by my friends, and be a hermit.

Melee, excluding the dual swords and riot shield, should NOT eat your shots. It's incredibly frustrating to shoot 3 out of my 6 revolver shots, just to realize the heavy spamming left click with his spear took 0 damage because my bullets hit the spear. I have no idea that this was even a thing, and it's ridiculous.
some Ideas for improving 3rd party problems:
1.give the cashouts an area effect that if a 3rd team enters the area, they get a debuff, maybe a reduce in HP, movement speed, firerate, or disable health regen and revive, or take more damage, or increase their stealing time(a lot), or apply glitch on them periodically, or randomly swap their weapons

raise a banner for everyplayer when a 3rd team is coming their way mid fight or is not having a fight at all anywhere

only allow each team to 3rd party once each game

revive the dead and regen to full for the owner of the cashout (or for the team that is not wiped if one team is wiped, and the wiped team gets to quickly respawn near the other cashout) if 3rd party is triggered
please consider some of these, as I truly hope TA be gone from ranked
Change vault and team spawns to minimise third partying and bad macro decisions by noobs. Volts could spawn closer to stations, and two teams should spawn a lot closer to the one vault versus the other.

its not the easiest class you nerd neck light is for sure, heavy cant even compare to lights, but i guess you live under a rock or have like no elo. but anyway the recoil for Lewis is probably the most intense in the entire game and given the dmg its almost not worth it at all. if they made the recoil better than it would be worth or slight dmg increase. if i looked at your class then that doesn't even make heavy that easy, you can open and close cover, heal other players, defib, and have strong weapons that are consistent. that's the issue with Lewis, inconsistent to use.
Please let us play the back minigame while using some 3rd person animations, or if there is a way make it clear on how to start it.

Encourage us to play and make friends. I'm talking about make The Finals about team play (Way too much solo culture in ranked)
They need to make a "squad" system next season.
For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:
-Vaiiya
-Volpe
-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)
This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.
Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.
This creates urgency AND rarity since -for example- the season 4 OSPUZE set will never show up again. (Same for Engimo, Vaiiya, etc.)
Remember, ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ONE SEASON
Top companies (companies with the most "fame" or money cashed out) are showed on the World Tour leaderboard.
There they should be able to display or link their Twitch and other socials.

I used to love this game, i swapped it for apex a played it religiously. Now I encounter blatant cheating most days. If no cheaters I’m trying to carry my team who I think most likely have learning difficulties. It’s such a shame you guys at embark have made the rank system so punishing, if nothing changes in season 4 I’m out. I think I speak for most people. rework dash into a jett dash, maybe each two or one kill(s) could refresh dashes, instead of a low cooldown
Heavy:
- RPG > damage reduced DMG from 140 to 100, full damage only on direct hit
- Winch hook > remove from game, or rework it completely
- Mesh shield > Reduced HP from 750 to 700
- M60 > increase damage drop off range by 10 meters
- Lewis gun > clean up the recoil pattern to be less aggressive horizontally
- Charge and slam > reduce damage by half so you cant instantly kill M's, reduce cooldown. Should be more utility than 1 shot cheese.
Medium:
- Recon senses > re-add to game - rework to be a single ping like recon nades but originating from the player. 3 charges with a pretty long recovery time
- Turret > Add a attack delay of 0.3s so it doesnt instantly shoot if you are in its FOV
- Defib > Remove invincibility time after getting ressed
- FCAR > 3rd shot of recoil jumps way to hard right, reduce that horizontal recoil
- FAMAS > Increase damage drop off range, replace the terrible ironsights with RDS or holo.
- R.357 > increase damage drop off range and slightly lower reload time
Light:

Grappling hook > lower cooldown

Throwing Knives > Make the projectiles lose velocity and damage over distance, boost initial velocity, Lower fire rate

LH1 > revert damage to 52 but lower fire rate

Cash-out should periodically give cash over time in a couple of instances (ie: 3k-5k-10k). Many high ELO games just becomes stalling for first 75% CO the time.

Remove Terminal attack from the game permanently, you cant balance the game for TA and CO at the same time, one will always suffer
insanely bad takes lol, except removing TA thats great. I think they should focus on things like, preventing cheaters from running around and fixing bugs like thermal vision not working with half the guns/not working if a person is standing in smoke or gas

Stun Rework Suggestion: Make it full stun, no actions allowed, but the player has to HOLD the Stun Gun, so he can't attack while someone is stunned. This way it's a good team gagdet, but no 1v1 free kill.

Winch claw doesn't need damage and stun effect. Make the animation and pull slower. Allow people to counter like shooting the chain for release.
Generally speaking Specializations & Gadgets need to be HELPFUL, not free kills. It's about shooting skills, strategies and not who has the better Q Button!
Sniper bodyshot damage is too strong. It's to easy to just sit at the back of the map and lock down an objective in games like Power Shift and just plink enemies to death with little repercussions.

I feel your pain for the 3rd partying that has been on the rise since the twitch rival broadcast but a lot of your suggestions would make the game broken for competitive play (the game needs mechanics that work for competitive play as well as casual)
High skill players would abuse it and make stealing cash out a real pain...
the very fact that makes this game so action packed and fun compared to most FPS is Also it's weakness too, as it is a sandbox game -- we, humans have a tendency to figure out shortcuts and hacks for easy wins and "camping 3rd party" is emerging as a meta strategy.
Maybe, awarding teams BONUS CASH for being in proximity to the defending cash out could be better. NOT too much but just near enough to maybe offset a team wipe-- would incentivize objective plays and bring relief benefit to teams that spend 90% of the time on the objective defending or attacking (sadly it happens a lot, you spend the whole time defending the objective to have someone sneak steal)
-- idea is to award teams of attackers and defenders who are in engagement over the cash out a little more than to someone who is camping to 3rd party with an incentive.
So to encourage straight forward play more these all would have awards,
-opening vault - around 1000* + Xp -
-initiating cash out - around 1000* + xp
-stealing cash out - around 1000* + xp
-holding cash out - 50% of the time 3500(award to the defending team)+ xp and*
-successful cash out - as is.
*--- these actions need initiative because they are high risk for the players, apart from the successful cashout which should award XP to the team, the rest of the XP should be awarded to individual only...

More points for teams that stick together and are on objective. (this will lessen the camping sniper pandemic)
- Throwing knives need an urgent nerf, slow balance corrections are bad for player retention
- Twitch drops need changes in quality and frequency
- Community tournaments etc. might be a good opportunity to increase player count

bug fixes are not relavant to balance talk. The heavy changes would not be an overall nerf, just nerf of utility and buff to weapons. Im guessing i mentioned some crutch you are leaning on.

I give up on this game. Whoever made the score distribution for TA is delulu. I win vs Ruby's and lose vs silvers and right now i'm back to gold 4 while i came from plat cuz every game u lose u get -800 and more but you only win ~500 per game. Matchmaking is still dumb (as i come across ruby's) I've lost about 20k points on ppl that leave or DC after third match, full server DC (and u still lose points) etc. It's just mind boggling how unfair this game mode is. Except for if you start playing the sniper. Which imo beats the whole point of this game.

Congratulations on your life, or lack there of, needing to sustain that score has less to do with skill than sitting in a 5 stack shitting on plat/gold players who had the misfortune of queuing with you, and playing an absurd amount of games. Light is the king of TA being that damage is permanent, and their health return is might higher than medium or heavies. In essence, medium and heavy get punished way more for damage, and it happens light is very good at dealing damage at all ranges.
Your right about the XP54 being better than lh1, but I find its only better because its consistent (at least for me).
Saying that all builds are equal in TA though is kinda crazy, when it is at its very core, not balanced at all for the mode. I thought a "rank 1" would know that lol

Here is an idea for a new game mode in The Finals, inspired by Hardpoint
CORE PRINCIPLES:
Appeal to new players:
Faster respawns and a focus on maintaining control of a designated area make it easier to jump in and contribute.
Fast-paced and engaging:
Short to medium length matches and constant objective switching keep the action flowing.
Teamwork encouraged:
Earning money is based on team presence within the zone, rewarding coordinated pushes and revives.
- I believe the long respawns in every game mode has turned away a lot of people. "Fast paced & Chaotic" don't seem palatable when mixed with high respawn times. I understand we want to incentivise team work, revives, and strategy but I think a game mode with fast respawns is well overdue in a game like The Finals.
GAMEPLAY:
Team Setup:
Two options for team size: 3 teams of 4 players.
- Here I want to increase team size because I feel like people want bigger team sizes in The Finals to play with more friends. Also we might want a lot of concentrated destruction.
I feel like 3 teams of 4 would not be too much and would be fun for a casual game mode.
Blitz Zone:
A designated area on the map becomes the objective (Blitz Zone or whatever it's named). It can be circular, shaped like a building, or highlighted by a beam.
Earning Money:
Teams earn money based on the number of players within the Blitz Zone. More teammates present translates to exponentially higher earnings per tick.
Example:
-One person in the area will earn the base amount of points - $10 per tick
-Two people earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS $5 each (since there are 2 team mates inside.)
-Three people all earn the base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $10 each (since there are 3 team mates inside
-Full team will receive a base amount of $10 per tick PLUS a bonus of $15 or $20 EACH (since there is a full team alive in the zone)
Penalties & Rewards:
"Direct Deposit" - Kills have a small siphon effect where you take money from the enemy you killed and it's added to your teams total balance.
NOTE: Only kills between players inside the Blitz Zone have siphon effect. ✨Clutch players rejoice✨
"Team wipe" aka "Bankruptcy" - Same as cashout, you loose a percentage of your teams balance if your whole team is dead at the same time.
OR bankruptcy can have a short lock-out effect where a team might not be able to earn for a short period of time after respawning.
("Bankruptcy" might be too much for a casual mode since it makes another variable to calculate mid gunfight. Might but be good for the gamer that wants to just shut their brain off. If they play this and don't care about score tm8s will complain and ruin the mood... Maybe this is an idea for a less casual mode🤷🏾♂️)
Match Duration:
The game lasts between 5-10 minutes with the Blitz Zones active for 2-4 minutes each before switching to a new location.
Suggestion:
For all casual modes, turn on auto Re-que. It's a wise decision.
This is a starting point, and all aspects of Blitz are open for discussion and refinement.

Fix your servers or it literally won't matter what you do to this game, they're total ass and your hitreg is a fuckin travesty dude. You can visibly watch 10% of the sniper shots flat out not register, despite coins flying.

heres my list of things the game needs/ is missing after playing 500+ hours
1: ranked matchmaking/progression needs a major overhaul. remove terminal.
2: servers also need work. frequent lag spikes and stuttering, people leaving, teams not being filled.
3: general lack of content makes it hard playing seasons long term. im about to finish the battlepass after off and on playing. also please remove level cap
4: balancing is always wonky. please decide what u want to do with classes and weapons before all skill expression is gutted.
5: custom games browser is needed. just an arcade mode in general, fortnite and overwatch are able to keep you playing for so long because theirs so much different shit to do and ways to play.
6: please for the love of god add more 5v5 modes, choosing bewteen powershift or terminal when you have more than 3 people at any given moment is just not fun

Stun Rework Suggestion: Make it full stun, no actions allowed, but the player has to HOLD the Stun Gun, so he can't attack while someone is stunned. This way it's a good team gagdet, but no 1v1 free kill.

Winch claw doesn't need damage and stun effect. Make the animation and pull slower. Allow people to counter like shooting the chain for release.
Generally speaking Specializations & Gadgets need to be HELPFUL, not free kills. It's about shooting skills, strategies and not who has the better Q Button!

Due to the bug where you're stuck in the loading menu, I had to rejoin at the beggining of a match. I quit the game, reopened, joined back in the match, and it still cancelled it and game me suspension, even tough I was in the game and could even do things like type in the in-game chat or be in the vc.
I dont know what it would be but I really hope for a new melee weapon for Lights melee weapons need some more love in this Gun meta world

Not sure if this'll go unnoticed or not, but I really think the game could use a bit more details to really sell the gameshow aspect. Mainly, I wish there was a toggle option to have 'Crowd Cheer' be a thing. I feel like it would be nice as a casual feature to be able to get situation specific feedback from the audience such as a slight "ooooooo" when having survived in a 1v3 situation, or maybe even ninja diffusing in terminal attack. Loud support when wiping another team or applause when placing in a cash out. In tandem with or cycled out with the loud horns that usually play.
Not a serious point of issue or concern with the game, however I simply love the smaller details of this game, and I feel like the audience could 100% help the game feel more authentic with the entire setting of the game show. GameMode Idea:
Reactor Rampage. One big reactor (objective) at a random point in the arena. 3 teams of 4. One Fuel Can (same thing as vault in cashout) that appears at random points. Teams have to take it to the reactor to stabilize it. Cos every second each team loses a certain number of cash (at first its zero so it goes to minus). Giving the reactor fuel gives u a certain amount of cash (15000, etc). The team with the lowest number of cash loses. That with the most wins at the end of match. Also if a team loses a certain amount of cash (say 30000) it starts to lose its abilities (eg: if a person has two frag grenades itll now reduce to one, 3 dematerializers reduced to 2). So hurry up!
Mode idea: Capture the flag, 3 teams of 4
Game side should change after 5 rounds instead of 7

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

Day 113 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored four bullets every second, 50 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

The game doesn't have enough gamemodes to be consistant, i have an idea for a new one since the game is lacking of them. i can be a 3v3v3 or a 5v5 were someone has like a token or something that generates money over time, and to take the token you have to kill the person who has it and at the end of the timer or at a certain amount the team wins.

- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored four bullets every second, 50 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

Fix oceanic severs cos Australia have terrible wifi and Asia makes the game stutter and every input has a massive delay. Every now and again you can find one but most of the time I find myself in an Asian server because I wait for a game for half an hour

Make the sr-84 sniper into a projectile instead of hitscan. Weapon is way too easy to rack up damage for people that want to shoot at players and not get shot at back. Weird to me that you'll make the ks-23 a hard hitting projectile weapon but not the sr-84.

If you want all weapons to do health percentage instead of numbers then what's the point of there even being different health pools at that point? Say a weapon does 25% health then it's a 4 tap on everyone regardless of how many hit points they have. Health percentage based weapon are pointless with classes designed around different health pools
That is true... damage based on health % will always kill every class the same speed. A heavy will go down in 5 shots, and a light in 5 shots... remove classes at that point
add a gravity shuriken like titanfall 2

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

4 games in a row, casual TA, somebody leaves in the first 10 seconds and the game ends. There’s gotta be larger penalties for leaving. It’s such an unenjoyable experience and waste of time queuing, finally getting into a game, and then having to leave and do it over again.
the game literally has dozens of annoying and even gamebreaking bugs that have existed in the game since launch and still aren't fixed. Even ones that were fixed but regressed and still haven't been fixed again after months. Hell, I would prefer they fixed the absolute trash that the servers have been lately with destruction freezing the entire server for multiple seconds and terrible hitreg that was bad at launch and has been getting progressively worse since.

well a game breaking bug is a bug that makes the game totally unplayable, can't think of bugs like this in this game other than 2 the loading screen bug and the kyoto destruction lag and it's not that bad actually

for the loading screen bug it's really annoying and bad but i don't think the devs is sleeping to not notice it but we don't know how hard it is to fix assuming you aren't even a programmer so you don't have any idea how bug fixing really work it's so hard and complicated and time consuming because it's not just a press of a button or flipping a switch and boom bug fixed, no it's not like that so we really have to be patient with it because i know how frustrating it is to have a bug and spend too much time just trying to figure out what causes it, game have thousands of codes if not millions considering their work on the dynamic destruction.

Game breaking bugs:
- healing beam stops working for some people for entire matches
- Being unable to fire your weapon randomly until you die
- not being able to do anything (fire weapons, throw grenades etc) and it's random when it starts working again.
- not being able to pick up objects (your character drops them automatically as soon as you pick it up, includes cash box) for the entire match
- Cashouts showing on a different floor or location than where it's physically located making it seem like the cashout won't take the box, when in reality you just have to insert it where the cashout actually is and then it will visually teleport back to where it should be
- server freezing for 1-2 seconds multiple times a match FOR EVERYONE in the server (not a PC performance issue) and doesn't matter the map.
- 15/30 bullets in a magazine not registering/throwing knives impacting and doing no damage/right-click on spear and other melee weapons not connecting
- steal alarm only going off for 1.5 seconds and then the cashout is stolen
- loading screen bug (which im almost certain is related to the power saving/frame cap options they added to the game)
- constant UE5 crashes for some people
- being shot 5 feet behind a wall because the interpolation/prediction/tick rate is shit.
- gas barrels teleporting when you pick them up, or showing you holding nothing and then when you throw it, it blows up in your face OR it blows up in your face just holding it (this one was fixed months ago, regressed a few weeks later and hasn't been fixed since.
- players being permanently highlighted for the rest of matches from recon grenades
- players being perma-invisible for entire matches because of vanish bombs
- mines and other deployables/throwables disappearing after you throw them, and then reappearing after enemies already ran passed them.
All of these problems have been reported multiple times.
I have no performance issues with the game except on Kyoto which drops frames to under 50 sometimes during destruction (which is different from the server freezing bug). I play the game at maxed settings with maxed RT with DLAA (no upscaling) and get 110-165 fps depending on the map (kyoto performs the worst)
Half the people here are entitled, spoiled brats. "I WANT MY CHOCO TREATS NOWWW!" Don't forget this is f2p and one of if not the only FPS game to get weekly updates like we do. Go back to playing CoD or Apex and experience the same stale meta for months.

since you was able to remember all these issues and bugs take a moment to know how bug fix works and how hard it is, most of these bugs haven't happened with me at all and some of them happened only once such as the vanish bomb bug, some of them happen very rarely, but MOST importantly no one have any idea how to replicate any of these bugs every single game
you know what really makes a game bug fixing very hard? that the players just says "uhhmm this bug happened to me where I'm invisible for the entire game" and just doesn't provide any further information, how it happened? any video? you know how to do it again in another match or not? any useful thing?? no, so the devs will spend hours if not days trying so hard to make the bug happen in a real match or a sandbox game with the console opened to determine how the bug happened and what causes it, and as a regular player some of these bugs happen very very rarely and no one knows or even provide a video of the bug happening or any steps to replicate it, so the devs will literally spend days trying to replicate the bug somehow randomly to be able to fix and look into the code and fix it carefully to not break anything else, and for you to know how rare these bugs happen i will say what bugs happened with me from all what you mentioned(i have 1000 hour spent in this game, so i have more than enough hours for every bug to happen with me right?)
1.healing beem bug didn't happen with me since season 2, so months ago, so it's not regular and it's random.
2.unable to fire bug happens more often but it's random too so it's hard to replicate.
3.not being able to do anything, doesn't happen randomly and i was able to trigger it but i lost the video when i was able to replicate it unfortunately but it's not a random bug and I'm trying to figure out how to trigger it again so i can report it in details and hopefully they'll fix it within a week.
4.not being able to pickup objects. it only happens with me randomly but it just happens once and i can pickup the object when it drops.
5.cashout showing in a diff location never happened with me
6.freezing never happened with me
7.bullets not registering never happened but it happened with me for projectiles but it's not regular.
8.steal alarm never happened with me it's normal
9.loading screen is more regular and I'm sure they're working on it
10.UE5 crashes is more often to be user issue
11.I'm also suffering from desync but we can't do anything and it's complicated to fix from server side but it's possible, and there's people who have more knowledge explained why it happens.
12.gas barrels with they just dissappear for 2 seconds when i pick them but they appear again and i can throw them normally, so it's totally random.
13.sonar bugs are so random and not regular i maybe have seen them 5 times since season 1.
14.vanish bomb happened to me only once since i started playing so it's rare to happen and random.
15.mines bugs have happened with me at all
just saying this so you have an idea of how random theae bugs is and how random they're from player to player and how rare they're to happen even i have played more than 1000 hour in this game i didn't have the same exact bugs in the same exact things as other players with gas barrels for example, so please don't be this ignorant :)

I literally troubleshoot for a living so I understand how hard it is to replicate things, but the fact that a lot of these have been in the game for 8 months (or longer) is fucking crazy. well I'm fucking surprised that you say this because ofc if they know how to replicate these bugs and monitor them they'll be able to fix in a day or two and test the fix in a day and make sure everything is okay in other days and release it with the upcoming update, but no they have no damn idea how to do them so they have no fkn idea how they happen or what cause them so they don't have any damn idea how to fix them or troubleshot what part of millions of lines of codes to fix the bug that they don't know what cause it, or should they just edit anything thing and hope that it fixes the bug so it make things worse?? They get lots of videos showing the bug, with match ID's so they should have the data for that match which should help pinpoint it. I never said they are ruining the game by not fixing these bugs. This was my suggested nerf to Winch Claw:
“Winch Claw feels amazing to use - so please don’t gut it - but can feel terrible to play against because it can so easily become an inevitable and inescapable death, especially for L/M classes.
WC should not be a free effective oneshot, like old Roadhog. It should be a displacement tool - for players and objects - that aids CQB but doesn’t grant it excessive power.
The best way to nerf its effectiveness against players without harming its object utility would be to prevent it from pulling players any closer than, say, 6m. This would give winched players the space and opportunity to more effectively fight back or flee without instantly suffering extreme damage.
It would remove the KS + Melee oneshot combo, the easy and extreme SA12 bursting, and the often inescapable melee death. All of which are the most oppressive and frustrating elements for opposing players.
The commonly suggested nerf of reducing its maximum range would not address these oppressive aspects and would hurt its utility when it comes to objects such as cashouts, revive totems, etc.
It would also still allow Mesh Shield to be of some use to the winched player given some distance would be maintained between the two players, as opposed to the current iteration which is simply a hard counter.”

So i came across this and i can't tell if it's a bug or a genuine way of cheating. He had more kills than anyone else and didn't seem to get shot as much so. Also invisible without cloak. (don't mind the fps i used windows to trim the clip)

it would prevent the worst of the worst with flame, sledge and spear
but it still displaces you and lines you up for an easy hit
it can still pull you out of a semi save and or fortified position, which would still be frustrating
id rather have it pull you, but if you walk backwards you stay in place
someone that's not paying attention will probably not have enough reaction time and is an easy grab
but if you put a little care into it, its fairly easy to counter
but even if the enemy can counter it, it still helps with close range engagements, if you hit someone and they try to run you can winch them to keep them in place to secure the kill

I agree, Winch Claw currently is basically heavies version of launch stun gun, but even more annoying. Literally the only counter to it is dash if you're light (I use grapple which has a travel delay so you are dead before you can grapple anything), or bounce pad if you happen to have it out already when you get grabbed.
@cyan crane this is a bug/exploit with the vanish bomb, it can happen to all classes, I mentioned it a few scrolls up in my list of game breaking bugs since launch. It's fairly easy for dash lights to exploit.
If world tour stays for Season 4, I'd like a return of CNS for just one stop. Something like "CNS Syntax" or something, not sure how it would go. The main idea behind it is that it would introduce a limited time variant of all the maps which would have bits and pieces of SYS$ HORIZON just slammed down in the map in place of normal buildings (like having Horizon "infect" the other maps) which I think would look pretty sick. Could be followed up with a VAIIYA stop which would have random parts of the map have that red grid effect on the buildings, but idk, I just think it'd be cool.
Please bring back cashout ranked. Or make world tour ranked go up to diamond. Terminal attack is just like all the other 5v5 obj games. It’s what made the game so fun. I’ve not played at all really this season, after being diamond last season because of this reason. The cosmetics and maps are SO good, but please, bring back cashout for ranked. Or at least give us the option

I don’t think the displacement itself is excessively problematic, both in terms of effectiveness and frustration.
It’s the extreme proximity of that displacement that puts you right in front of the Heavy that’s the problem. That’s what enables the excessive burst damage and effective oneshots.
It pulling you ~6m away would help the Heavy land shots but it would be far from the near-guaranteed kill that it currently is. This is desirable imo. It’s useful but not oppressive. And don’t forget that unlike basically every other Specialization, if you miss with the Winch you get negative value from it, as it prevents you from firing for ~1s.
Being able to counter the displacement would totally nullify it in high skill lobbies. And that’s where it’s at its strongest as lesser/average players are not landing every Winch.
I don't think that will help, Skill based match making (SBMM) is better for smaller teams, the finals is based around small teams, at most 5, and the core game mode is 3. Big team games like TF2 can get away with out skill based matchmaking because the lesser skilled players will be much less a burden on the teams when they are just 1/12 people, but when you are 1/3 you are far more responsible for the teams screw ups. It is hard to get a fair match without SBMM in a small team game. But it would be fun Idea to add large team modes and have no SBMM, like just good old team fight 12v12 or power shift on steroids with two platforms 12v12, but so far the game can only do 12 people in a match at most, so doubling that to have large team game modes would be hard on servers I bet. also the use of german made me laugh 😎

no, the displacement itself is very much an issue
i happen to have a good clip on hand to demonstrate
the enemies are all very close to each other, im kind of trying to keep my distance so that i can retreat if need be, my teammate also happens to be there for support
but due to winch claw i am punished for existing in the heavies line of sight, immediately separated from my teammate and am now directly in between all 3 enemies
(i am aware that my weapon choice is sub-optimal for this kind of situation, but realistically, what weapon could've saved me here?)
even if i were only pulled to 6 meters away, i would have been way out of cover and laser'ed to death incredibly quickly

alongside still having very good utility which could (and should) be buffed to compensate
and even if not
id rather have an option that is unviable for the top 5%, than have it make the game unfun for everyone else

Hello Embark I got a problem : I lost my account.
How it happend : I went on my Xbox to link my pc account to my Xbox account from my Xbox, I accidently created an account ON xbox and I linked my e-mail from my pc account to my Xbox account, so my pc account got unlinked from my mail. When I reconnected to steam and started the game I had a brand new account level 1. Can you help me reconnect to my account again ? I got proof that it's mine through clips of me and my friend (he got the clips) and the embark account is also link to my twitch account.

UPDATE : I just saw now that if your embark account is not link to any account it deletes it and I unlinked my steam account from my account BUT It is still linked to twitch and It is not deleted since you can see me on the scoreboard so is there a way I can connect to my account from twitch ?
Btw the account still exist I see it in the leaderboard still is there anyways someone could give me a way to log back in ?

something is wrong, this past couple weeks my fps is dropping to like 40 at times. It's impossible to play.
I have a 5900X and 6900XT, i've never had such low fps on this game before. I've rolled back my gpu drivers but still having the same problem. Anyone else experiencing anything similar?

Rework the rpg to do 50 damage, and have two shots, with a higher AOE but it does more damage to the arena. Then, replace the rpg with a laser cannon, that does the same damage the old rpg did, so 140-150, and make it charge up for about 4-5 seconds, and a much smaller AOE, so you have a higher chance to miss
I mean, gold playing with silvers would be pretty common as it is in other games, same with gold and plat, but yeah the lowest rank you should see in a ruby/diamond lobby should be plat
Without reliable displacement it would be totally useless. Especially in high skill lobbies (which is more than just the top 5%) but also just in general. It’s not a problem in of itself, the proximity is.
In your clip, if you stopped ~6m away from him you would either fall into that hole or be able to take 1 step backwards to fall into it. It changes everything.
You weren’t punished just for existing in his LOS, you were punished by landing directly at the feet of a Heavy with an SA12 (which is a limited range weapon). Which is why you went from 345 HP to 0 in 2 seconds, with said SA12 dealing 228 (66%) of that damage.
When facing a displacement tool you can also utilise cover or movement in an attempt to dodge, neither of which were used here.
Besides that, there’s nothing spectacular about the use of the Winch in this clip. All Specializations have moments of great use vastly exceeding it.

Does anyone else not hear enemy footsteps period? I feel like I’ve touched just about every setting in the audio menu and my teammates steps are still way louder than the enemy

pls buff recoil on Lewis Gun, i get that you wanted to nerf the damage but it feels rly shit to use now. Return the old recoil or new recoil pattern that dosnt sway so much left to right, like it could be a lot vertical and maybe sways eventually to either the left or right.

the heavy should yell "get over here!" and then throw the winch, so everyone in ear shot hears the call and has a second to react. maybe he could be spinning the winch like a lasso getting ready to toss it while he yells. I think for me that would solve the frustration of just being yanked out of your skull randomly in the middle of a fight without warning. (just like how a heavy can swap to RPG and kill you before you even see him pull out the RPG, please embark slow down the weapon swap speed for RPG or something)

Bruh, ikr. I was just playing a game when a random light shot me with a bow. AT POINT-BLANK RANGE. God, I wish Embark would fix this.
i mean, grabbing statues is impactful, getting objects from a distance is niche but useful, moving the cashout station can be incredible
if buffed to perhaps also destroy buildings it would probably not need the displacement and be useful all on its own
im not quit sure about the distance, but i do think 6 meters is less than you assume, even if it had pulled me just in front of the hole, i would probably have taken a good bunch of damage
taking extra care to stay away just to pulled into someones effective range (even if just 6 meters) feels bad
i was attempting to stand back and utilize the cover
if i had known he would winch i would have tried to dodge it
but it took him less than a second to winch me, thats barely enough to notice it, let alone react to it (to get to cover for example), especially with how fast it is
like remove ta said, a spin up would have been good here
and like, obviously everything has moments where it shines
but its possible to make it shine without frustrating those on the other end, which is a state we should strive for

give Lights 6 dashes but a 10% chance per dash to trip and fall

Light main and I second this. Grapple is the only thing that MAYBE needs a buff.
as a grapple main since literally alpha, grapple needs it's cooldown reduced by 2-3 seconds
