  • Remove Terminal Attack (The push game mode is x10 better than your version of Counter Strike)
  • If you insist of having Terminal Attack at least make the RS system fair, I'd lose with a high rank team that performs so poorly and I lose -1k+ RS for that, not my fault you can't put players in their respected ranks, not boost them.
  • If I solo queue I shouldn't go up against a 3,4 or 5 stack, it should only be other solo queue players
  • Play Test your game, none of these issues would be present if you did play testing (You can die off spawn in Terminal Attack)
  • Add regular ranked
  • Better Anti Cheat (DMA Bypasses Easy Anti - Cheat, that's why you have a cheater epidemic)
  • Balance
  • Skill Based Match Making (Why is there unranked/bronze playing with/against diamonds in ranked)
  • A lot of unranked players are cheaters, they ruin ranked for everyone else and once they get banned they make a new account,** Better Anti Cheat or IP Ban is the only solution **
  • Remove snipers and melee's <3

A few people agreed with me in ā āš”ā”‡the-finals-chat , so i thought i would put this here, even if this channel doesnt even get read by anyone important. if anybody wants to talk about this more I think it would be an elegant solution to a problem many of us face.

The issue with terminal attack could be completely solved by simply splitting them (cashout and terminal attack) into respective ranked game modes. I think it wouldnt be bad to have both of them in the game at the same time.

Many people enjoy terminal attack and it could bring players in, but for the majority of players that are complaining, the problem could be solved, not by completely reverting the choice, but just bringing back ranked tournament. It could be the best of both worlds.

The queue times wouldnt be worse either, because if you like TA you probably arent big on cashout, and cashout players really dont like TA

Give us ranked without the tournament crap. So I can finally get above room temperature IQ team mates and not be forced to wait for other teams to finish games or more than 30 seconds between matches. The load screen and then bam into the action and its ranked and easy and simple. Thank you.

NPCs have the time to spare waiting around scrolling tiktok between matches.

I played The Finals Beta to play The Finals Competitively. I played Season 1 to play The Finals Competitively. I played Season 2 to play The Finals Competitively.

Why am I now being forced to play CS2/VAL for the Competitive Gamemode when I want to play The Finals Competitively?

Give me my Ranked Mode back. The whole point of The Finals was what made it unique.

Heavy:

  • RPG > damage reduced DMG from 140 to 80
  • Winch hook > remove from game, or rework it completely
  • Mesh shield > Reduced HP from 1000 to 750
  • M60 > increase damage drop off range by 10 meters
  • Lewis gun > clean up the recoil pattern to be less aggressive horizontally
  • Charge and slam > reduce damage by half so you cant instantly kill M's, reduce cooldown

Medium:

  • Recon senses > rework to be a single ping like recon nades but originating from the player. 3 charges with a pretty long recovery time.
  • Turret > Add a attack delay of 0.3s so it doesnt instantly shoot
  • Defib > Remove invincibility time after getting ressed
  • FCAR > revert to S1 for recoil/dmg but lower fire rate slightly
  • FAMAS > Increase damage drop off range

Light:

  • Dash > Add a short cooldown, close to around 1 second

  • Throwing daggers > Make the projectiles lose velocity and damage over distance, boost initial velocity

  • LH1 > revert damage to 52 but lower fire rate slightly

  • 93R > increase damage and damage drop off range

  • DB > lower damage to S2 damage

  • V9S > Lower fire rate but increase damage (1 less shot to kill)

  • Explosive mines > damage from multi mines exploding from different sources sources do not stack. Damage reduced from 140 to 80.

  • Remove aim assist for melee weapons while playing with keyboard and mouse.

  • Cash-out should periodically give cash over time in a couple of instances, holding an objective for 90% and then getting it stolen should NOT go without reward.

  • Add a "Quick use" option that lets you instantly use some equipment, like thermal vision, dematerialiser, jump pad, APS etc

  • Remove Terminal attack from the game permanently, you cant balance the game for TA and CO at the same time, one will always suffer.

every game of terminal attack i play when attacking, i cannot see the keys location, i can see it physically, there just is no indicator of its location when im not looking right at it. no matter if i reset the game or anything.

+i cant comment in Bug reports because this servers rank system requires me to be a certain lvl, so i just just post all the bugs in here till then.

I don’t necessarily think sniper needs a nerf but if that’s a popular opinion I recommend implementing idle sway and a hold breath mechanic like in cod.

Adding flinch would probably made it unusable since the light’s health pool is so small but that could be an option if not overdone

Regarding balancing, I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, stop nerfing guns that people like into the ground and instead make other guns better and have them fill a niche

Famas should be better at range but currently is so far outclassed by the other ARs it’s just unusable

Revert FCAR to being the niche higher precision, higher damage, lower ammo capacity instead of being basically another AK

Rn in each class like 80% of the weapon choices are not competitively viable, bring them up to speed so players can choose any gun and have it be viable / have different advantages so the meta doesn’t get stale

@thick tundra I've been crashing quite a bit this season as well, can't remember the last time I crashed S2. Overall performance seems worse and a lot more crashes.

Day 105 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.

  • 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
  • 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
  • Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
  • bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)
    • significant damage to structures and players
    • gun can be pre-spooled with RMB over having an ADS (for obvious reasons, you try to aim down the sights of a water cooler)|
    • high suppressive force through sheer amount of bullets being fired
    • its a goddamn minigun
  • - Heavy cannot jump or sprint while holding it, has to switch back to primary
  • - lengthy equip-unequip time to balance such, no ā€œpocket minigunā€ strats, choosing to use this mid-combat is a commitment, one that could get you killed.
  • - gun has to spool up for a second before firing, spool up being LOUD

The fact that RPG is like 10/10 must pick for a heavy or else you'll underperform says a lot about this class. Dagger should Pierce heavies dome shield. I keep being right up on top of my opponent when I backstab them but because I’m standing in the shield, it only hits the shield. That’s a little goofy in my opinion. Feels bad šŸ‘

with ppl complaing about 3rd parties in THE FINALS. ( not what ever the "new ranked" is supposed to be) i would say lets add a 90M barrier to each cashout. (dont think of these barriers like whats in TA because you will still have room to move around those are ~ 50M) but with these barriers only 2 teams can be in at one time, and you can NOT shoot in and or out. each cashout has ~2 min each with a 10 min game, and when a team dies (within these barriers) the timer is paused, until a new team enter. ALL cashouts are set at 10k each except for the last cashout which is worth 20k. and we can either keep how it works 2 cashouts with 20k per box... or we could do 1 cashout 1 box 4 teams with 1 life only per person. the dead can be rezed but cant repawn, and when a team is wiped they wont respawn so if there are 4 teams and one team dies they are all out till theres only 1 team standing (end game)

Since it’s impossible to play TA ranked without cross play, I noticed a BIG difference in cheaters. You can’t tell me they aren’t cheating, so many unexplainable deaths occur now. And on top of that, got a message back from many of the reports I did, so I guess I’m right. Hope PS5 gets enough players to find games without cross play

How to fix cashout (Meta and Gamemode):

Heavy:
Nerf Charge and Slam damage
Nerf RPG damage down to 120/50, slightly nerf aoe, slightly buff cooldown speed.
Nerf Hook range down to 10-12m, remove the stun effect, pulling somebody out of position is strong enough in itself
Buff Lewis gun recoil

Light:
Nerf throwing knives again, they are unfun to fight and too spammy
Nerf the LH1 again, its still too strong and too spammy
Buff V9S Range back up and fix its visual recoil
Buff fully charged Bow Crit damage, slightly nerf velocity (allows for 1c1b on heavies and 1c+melee on meds with slightly higher skill requirement)
Buff Glitch Grenades to 8s
Give Stun a slightly longer INTERACT BLOCK

Medium:
Slightly Buff FCAR Range (.55 to .6 multiplier at range), slightly buff damage to 23-24 (TTK against Light remains the same, H and M its 1 bullet less, still more than old FCAR)
Buff Famas famas range and give it a zoomed scope (.55 at range, 1.5x scope)
Buff Dematerializer to 4 uses
Buff revolver reload speed from 2.2s/2.5s to 2.0s/2.2s, buff range to a .57 scalar at range to allow 6b medium kills and 4b light kills. (42 damage)
add a small delay to data reshaper so spamming to reshape an RPG does not instantly consume 2 charges.

now for cashout:

rework boxes, change them to 15k, 10k, 10k, allows teams to build momentum early and rewards CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE OVER JUST PLAYING FOR 22K BOXES
in its current state, a team can get a 10k, 15k, and lose to a team that got a 22k because they wiped once, while the team with the 22k could wipe 15 times in the match with no punishment.

Increase Vault Tap money to 1.5k, and deposit money to 3k

1/3 or 1/2 (5k with each box) should be paid out at HALF a cashouts duration, while the rest should be paid out at the end, still rewarding last second steal without punishing teams after they held the cashout for 2 minutes.

Rank TA sucks and should be removed. I haven't touched it once and I refuse to ever consider it an option. For the very reason I have enjoyed The Finals was because of the constant fighting and fights always being refreshing. I rather deal with defib/healing beam, RPG, hook, 3rd parties, etc than play a stupid mode like TA.

Either the server performance seems to get worse by the day or there's a sudden influx of blatant cheaters. I've lost count of the amount of times I've been killed through walls today, prime example is in the screenshots, I can clearly see the arrow missing me but somehow I'm dead in the next frame (literally the next frame on the recording) while I was clearly behind cover. You can even see that the trail of the arrow clearly missed me.

Somehow my enemies don't seem to have the same problem as they always happen to get away around a corner with 1 bullet worth of HP left or they instantly headshot me the moment I'm in their vision.

I've barely played any other game than the Finals since December but if this keeps on being as broken as it is I'm definitely going to quit. Terminal Aids is bad enough as it is but if I consistently get put up against blatant cheaters and/or I don't stand a chance because of lag I'm going to keep my sanity and uninstall.

World tour is almost identical to ranked except you don't de rank. Arguably the only change that needs to be made is it costs money to enter tournaments and boom you have a system for de-ranking. Every player also gets a certain dollar amount depending the combination of combat, support, and objective score. That way if your team sucks ass you can soften your loss by outperforming.

Please consider adopting a similar battlepass system to Halo Infinite where you can buy any of the battlepasses at any time and complete them at your own pace FOMO is not a fun thing for anyone and will probably cause Embark to miss out on potentially more revenue over time it makes more sense to do this from a business perspective and I strongly believe it'd make the fanbase more pleased with the game knowing they can come back and finish their battlepasses at any time and buy any other ones they desire at anytime

My second issue with anything FOMO related is that over time people are going to want the older battlepass items over time which may lead to account thefts and people selling their accounts regardless of if it's against ToS or not we can take a look at fortnite as a prime example when it comes to that and probably a lot of other games

It's possible for these changes to be made now since the game is relatively young into it's life and yes there is a little bias in here because there's some things I'd like to have that are no longer available (please note that this is an open suggestion for people to build upon)

Dude 300 is nothing, sometimes we lose 1000+ after getting crushed by a team 20k RS better than us. It's bullshit.

Sorry Embark, but we gave terminal attack a fair go and it's just trash. The way your MMR is balanced, especially with regard to placement players, means that all of our matches are brutally lopsided and we're consistently getting slammed - when we lose, regardless of who we lose to or how well we perform, we can lose hundreds or thousands of RS and then have to spend hours grinding to get it back (which just results in apathy - why would I care about something so disposable?). It makes zero sense to play 6 rounds where you're defending or attacking before swapping in a game mode which is first to 7 - it takes a few rounds to figure out your opponents build and strategy, and defending is a lot easier than attacking because you can just turtle and hide, which means if you start on defence you can easily get to 6-0 before you have to swap and then you've got 7 match points on attack for an easy victory. I know you've got to rebuild the arena at halftime, which takes time and would prevent swapping sides every 2 or 3 games, but honestly that's just another indication that terminal attack shouldn't be your bloody ranked mode - it doesn't fit the gameplay.

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:

  • While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
  • The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
  • Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
  • Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
  • Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders

FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:

  • When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
  • Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
  • Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see

GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:

  • Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.

FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:

  • Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Cashpoint: (Hardpoint but you control & earn cash)

Teams: 3v3v3

Objective: Control the cashpoint to earn 500$ for every second. First team to $40000 or most cash in 15 minutes wins. Cashpoint relocates every 30 seconds.

Is this intentional or a bug? Invis people are only visible to thermal when there is an object behind them. I was trying to think of TA strats to counter these annoying invis abusers, but couldnt see them most of the time even with thermal. Updates are released on the same day every week. Embark only releases hot fixes for game breaking stuff. A contract that does not work is nowhere near game breaking. Hell most other things reported in this feedback channel are not game breaking either.

I don't even know why/how can people be so infuriated when the devs release an update/fix per week. I mean come on. How much faster do you want these to be ? Daily ? Who even does that in the gaming industry ? I think we've all see countless AAA titles sold at full retail price, released day one in a barely playable state, for the devs to then take MONTHS to get most of the bugs addressed (if they ever are).

I'm not saying Embark is perfect, but let's not be ungrateful.

Balance the RPG by reducing the damage to 100, slightly increasing its structural damage, adding a few more seconds to its cooldown, and increasing the reload time by 1-2 seconds.
They're not big changes on their own, but together they would help to make RPG less of a must have with every build and overall increase player enjoyment.

Terminal Attack is boring and slow.

Cashout without matchmaking isn't a challenge, so World tour is boring.

They really did fuck up with S3. Maybe 1 in 20 matches I play where all teams are full without someone leaving. It would rarely happen in ranked in Season 2. The moment to moment gameplay is being spoiled by shitty matchmaking and an identity crisis.

They haven’t even responded to the criticism, yet alone announced any plans for a return to form. They haven’t offered any explanation for why they’ve made the decision to repulse the people who had been playing The Finals the most.

We asked for Solo Queues, Map Voting, a transparent and straightforward skill-based ranking system and maybe some changes to the Final round to make it more streamlined (and change the Goddamn team colors already!) Instead they removed ranked and replaced it with either Terminal Attack, a boring light-dominated snooze fest that is completely unbalanced and un-fun, and World Tour, a mode that encourages leaving and thinks that six maps is just too much. Seriously the map thing is so confusion. Why? Why 3 maps at a time? What the fuck is the purpose of that? It seems deliberately designed to keep people from playing that mode so much. Maybe we’re supposed go play terminal attack. Idk but I have a lot of other games I’d play before Terminal Attack.

The FPS scene is incredible competitive. I love this game and want if to do well in the long run, but I hope the numbers are terrible this season. I hope it really costs them something for this awful decision, because in it’s current form this game is not very enjoyable.

The players didn’t stick around but for a small portion of a dedicated base. Probably about 20-25k people on at a given moment between XB PS and Steam. Daily users was probably around 150-200k. Enough to make a path forward. And they took their product and soiled it with an invasive ā€œtemporaryā€ mode and didn’t apply any of the items that have been requested since launch. Why drive away the people who use your product most in a feeble attempt to draw in a more transient crowd?

Defense-specific buffs for each class

Given player feedback on third partying, instead of changing the Cashout gamemode, we should be encouraging players to defend cashouts by buffing their abilitiy to defend.
These buffs would only be active while you are defending a cashout and within a certain range of the cashout you are defending.

These changes would make it more difficult to third party (but not impossible) and also less frustrating to be on the receiving end of a third party.

This would also make taking a cashout more challenging, which makes it more rewarding to secure a vault. And it would encourage players to attack Cashout stations sooner, which will reduce (but not eliminate) the chance of last minute steals.

Heavy
Deployables and Shields have increased health when defending a cashout.
This change would enable Heavy to be an effective defensive role, while also preventing their gadgets from being too powerful in a teamfight or when stealing a cashout.

Medium
While defending a cashout, kills and assists reduce the cooldown of your gadgets - kills reduce the cooldown more than assists, balance numbers TBD.
This change would enable Medium to re-deploy defenses quickly and recover from team fights.

Light
While defending a cashout, kills grant you additional cash and also restore your health.
This change would enable Lights to stay in the fight longer, do what they do best, and also get rewarded for doing so.

The spawning logic of Cashout remains a major pain point. Spawning 150m away from an objective you're defending, spawning in a position that only grants you 1 choice of cashout to attack, spawning to be a 3rd party instead of taking a 3v3 fight, among other scenarios. I can only assume this problem is very difficult to deal with from a dev standpoint, but it remains a frustration that I think some remedies could be tested for.

People will start prioritising securing vaults and defending cashouts - rather than waiting and trying to third party.

I mean, some of the top players are complaining that there's no incentive to defending a cashout... Why not give them an incentive by making it more of an advantageous position?

And balance can also be tweaked based on the range/radius that the defensive perks kick in.

Being stuck in one location isn't exactly a great position to start with, why not make it stronger?

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:

  • While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
  • The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
  • Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
  • Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
  • Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders

FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:

  • When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
  • Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
  • Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see

GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:

  • Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.

FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:

  • Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Encourage us to play and make friends. I'm talking about make The Finals about team play (Way too much solo culture in ranked)

They need to make a "squad" system next season.
For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:

"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:
-Vaiiya
-Volpe
-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.

During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)

This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.

Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.

This creates urgency AND rarity since -for example- the season 4 OSPUZE set will never show up again. (Same for Engimo, Vaiiya, etc.)
Remember, ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ONE SEASON

Top companies (companies with the most "fame" or money cashed out) are showed on the World Tour leaderboard.
There they should be able to display or link their Twitch and other socials.

Old: Low chance of deflecting bullets while the player still gets health damage and no blocking against other melee users ( including hook )
New: 100% deflect bullets with no health damage received but each shot taken will reduce stamina bar. If stamina bar depletes completely, blocking is not available until it is fully restored. 100% block against hook. Can partially block melee users and gets minor health damage. If timed correctly, can fully block any melee and parry another melee user and deal partial amount of damage. Cannot damage blocked riot shield.

Knowing that theres no deflect from the back (which is fine) and still get damaged when deflecting from the front. There is no survival chance for DB. No. It is not perfectly balanced at all.

This patch note doesn't even deserve to be called 3.3. It deserves to be called 3.2.1.

We waited weeks, hoping for balancing changes to weapons, the meta, and ranked. We expected issues such as cheaters and other things to be addressed, but instead, we got a couple measley bug fixes for bugs that reported weeks ago, some even being from literally a month ago.

I'm not sure if Embark is doing anything massive, which is why they're silent, but this is horrible. The amount of visible effort from S1 has decreased dramatically. Patch notes now feel like "oh yeah. we forgot to fix that lol. okay back to doing absolutely nothing for another 3 weeks"

If this keeps up, a lot more people are going to share this sentiment. I mean I do, and it's clear it's growing.
I'd like to stay positive, but every single time, I'm disappointed by the lack of changes. I'm not even looking for the specific changes I want, just what the community wants at this point. But not even that is getting fulfilled. That's just sad, and I'm starting to feel a lot more negative about this game.

  1. Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

  2. Give more button optimisation for controller players for example triggering something or being able to choose an item with the double tap or triple of a button or swipe on the middle pad of a controller.

Please Create Reprocutions for cheaters in the finals its getting ridiculous. for example R6 Seige anyone who won games with cheaters once banned will lose the elo they played with them and it is rewarded to the people who lost against them. this stops people from using boosting services and will overall reduce the amount of cheaters as there is no purpose.

It is so dissappointing to have no message from Embark about the current sittiuation, dear Embark sitting in silience and wait out the situation will not make it better, it will make it even worse.
i personaly dont need "yeah we fucked up we change it tommorow msg" i just need a "we heared the feedback sadly we cannot change it mid-season we do our best for s4". Just beeing silient is a no go.

TA is by far the worst SND mode i have ever witnessed and i played almost 10k hours SND games, boring, slow no structured rounds/maps disigned for SND, and no viable strats besides "go kill" due to way to much vertical moovement or wide open map disign.

Current WT is worse than Quickcash last season, noone play objective everyone is just playing TDM due to no real ranked system, bronze and diamond players from last season are in the same lobbys its not fun for both sides.

Todays patch just shows how much Embark is out of touch with their community.

As far as any feedback goes, this is their stance. Joking about it and not acknowledging anything. This was at the start of season 3 when their servers were barely functional and this is their response. Embark really just doesnt care anymore hence the complete radio silence from them. They simply dont care about this game and will make the tiniest changes to try and squeeze a little bit more money from people before they leave.

For now if winch claw catch you it's a free frag ... nothing more annoying than a mechanic you can't counter in any way. and same for Stun Gun who got the same issue but at least you can defend yourself when stun.

The connection and lag is so horrifically awful that I cant even play it. I'm in the NA region and I've had to change settings on my computer and graphics card just to go from 8 fps to 10 fps to make it slightly more functional. Please for the love of god fix it, especially since I'm not the only one with this issue as well as having the battle pass.

IMO the main problem with the throwing knives is the ability to just keep spamming without having to reload. At close range it's like a slightly slower firing, significantly higher damage and easier to control LH1 with a bottomless magazine. I think it'd be good if they either slightly increased the delay after throwing 2 knives or implemented a somewhat longer delay after throwing let's say 4 to 6 knives (similar to turning the magazine on the SA1216) so it's a little less spammable. Either that or just nerf it back to not be 3/5/6 hit kills on L/M/H respectively.

If you're up against a light with throwing knives and you're not absolutely on top of your game (or you just ran into someone else and you don't have a full magazine) you are going to die because you run out of bullets before the light is down. At that point you're a sitting duck as the light can just constantly keep spamming. I feel like at least 75% of all lights I run into nowadays are running the throwing knives.

Who are you, ErE? Just so you know, I filed the report stating the issue. I have no way of knowing who it is lmao thats not my job to find if its you or someone else. I only reported ere and frost because 2 of the other guys were cross play and probably as console owners not smart enough to DDoS the server. It is up to embark to inspect the play history of all players in the match to find whom is most likely to be causing this.

Besides you said it yourself, if you're experiencing server DDoS attacks on a lot of your games then you are the common denominator, it makes sense why they would suspect you as nobody else in this game is experiencing this happening. It's only ever happened once to me in that scale and here you are stating its happening all the time to you.

Genuinely the bug fixes last patch was really good. Now we are dealing with light having to high of a TTK compared to the other classes. Heavy luis gun needed its nerf but now its underpowered, same said with the m60.

If we turn down the damage on the throwing knives no one will be upset because everyone know they are broken in terms of kill time. The speed buff was a good change to the knives but the damage was really bad. I'd love to see the speed from the start of S3 back with the damage of last season. Also on a side note the 93R is much worse now, like the RPM was the only good part about it. It needed to go up some damage maybe 2 or 3 then the rpm be changed a little. The XP-40 needs a harder recoil... I know controversial in this community, the gun is just to good with its fast TTK with headshots and it's insane recoil. WARNING TO EMBARK. IF YOU CHANGE THE RECOIL OF THE XP YOU'LL GET A WAVE OF M11 PLAYERS.

Now to medium, the guns on the class is just fine except the Famas. It's currently so broken on controller. The small amount of recoil and RPM is just over tuned. TTK times are still not bad but having someone come and camp a roof with a AR with no recoil is insane (Most people will call this a skill diff). Thats all on medium.

Ok that's all I will say. Love you guys at embark and truly i want this game to succeed.

Id love to talk to some devs at some point so i can give my opinion and it not be glossed over.

I mean, it would be fun to have an rpg that can shoot more often for less damage, but I don't think it should replace the current rpg per se, rather be a weapon of sorts, like a rocket-propelled grenade launcher or something.

four shots, long reload, moderate fire delay, ~70 damage per hit, busts a hole just large enough for a light to fit through with each shot, moderately long range, moderately accurate. 2-3 shots to coin a light, 3-4 for a medium, 5-6 shots to coin a heavy. Smallish effective blast radius, moderately-sized low damage splash radius. Knockback mechanic?? Very tiny rocket jumps possible???

I am not going to deny, your response was more thorough than mine. I woke up and seen the patch notes feeling completely dismayed as someone who has enjoyed Embark and their game, but this season has truly been eye opening in regards to the lack of patch notes. I'm going to say Embark has a cycle of one week nothing gets really done and the next week real changes. Makes sense, but they have SOME REAL MAJOR issues with so many things right now. I believe Embark at this point is brewing something up that's going to be a big change later on, but that's the issue, they wait TOO LONG and cause players to quit playing the game. Rank TA could literally be removed from the game and not one player would miss it. But the sheer fact Embark isn't having an open survey, discussion, and openness to things is making me wonder. The criticism is much needed and you can do it without threatening lives, but they should understand we all love the game and they are ruining it on their own at this point.

It's good to note that doing this for Season 3 gives us a chance to work on Cashout and make vital improvements to the mode that would have been difficult to do when it’s locked into ranked for a whole season. This will give us a chance to make Cashout more viable as a competitive mode in the future.

Embark, please fix your fucking matchmaking… i lost 4-7. I got 17 kills, 3 Assists and 8 Deaths, 9620 Combat DMG. The second most kills on my team is 7…

Now lets go to the enemy team… already two players who are wayyyyy above me in the rankings. They have 18 kills / 10 deaths and 13 kills and 9 deaths and the third most kills of the team is 7!!!

I got -800 RS for this match even though i carried my fucking team. They won four rounds because of me… otherwise it would’ve been an easy 0-7 for them.

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CLIMB??? Im stuck at the same fucking rank for WEEKS because my teammates leave the fucking game OR they are silver or bronze…

I know for sure i belong in diamond… almost every fucking game i have the most kills, combat dmg and mostly the highest objective score and still i -800 RS??? its such a cop out non reason, like they couldnt just have normal cashout as ranked unchanged another season. its not like they are doing tweaks to it in WT now. They could have been testing versions of it all along even in s1 s2 unranked. Just comes across as either very narrow sighted or that they dont know how to run AB tests.

What seems more likely is that they didnt see the player count they expected and tried to get players from valo/cs but it backfired as its an inferior product as a tactical shooter, it just isnt built for it.

  1. I was not the victim of the DDoS, it was The Finals.
  2. It is less likely that it was a console player because we don't know the exact method they are using to DDoS the server, you can't just use a skid ddos method you likely need to extract the game UDP connection payload using mitm proxy / wireshark. Or it's a DDoS not relying on network but could rely instead of a bug in the game which the person has found a way to exploit and DDoS without the traditional DDoS you think of.
  3. The person is coming to complain directly to me whom reported this incident to Embark for no reason, I never directly contacted him once and he's only msging me because other people have also reported him and he himself admits he has been in multiple games where the server was DDoS which is very uncommon.

It'd work wonders if they kept their community up to date on what is coming up/being worked on, doesn't even have to be detailed information with a specific ETA either. Right now everyone is left in the dark and it doesn't feel like they're listening to feedback at all.

It would go a long way to acknowledge much discussed issues and mention that they're looking into it if it's the case at all.
Example:

  • We are aware of the excessive use of -insert weapon/gadget/class- here in -insert gamemode here- and we are looking into ways to add more variety to the experience.
  • We've heard your overwhelming feedback about the change to TA for ranked and we're currently looking at ways to improve the ranked experience for everyone involved. This is a difficult matter because of the current way ranks are calculated and because of the current leaderboards.
  • We're currently working on a new variant of a gamemode that should be ready in the next few weeks.

Patch notes like the ones we've gotten today are underwhelming at best and don't give many people hope for the future of the game. I'm no developer so I don't know how extensive certain changes are and how much work is necessary to implement said changes. Right now one of the few strands we have left for upcoming changes is the "Coming soon" button on the world tour screen, but nobody know what it means or when it's going to get here.

  • Remove Terminal Attack (The push game mode is x10 better than your version of Counter Strike)
  • If you insist of having Terminal Attack at least make the RS system fair, I'd lose with a high rank team that performs so poorly and I lose -1k+ RS for that, not my fault you can't put players in their respected ranks, not boost them.
  • I've even lost with a team that has 20k less RS than the other team and I lose -1000 RS, because you cannot match players of my skill level, and expect me to carry them, play test your game
  • If I solo queue I shouldn't go up against a 3,4 or 5 stack, it should only be other solo queue players
  • Play Test your game, none of these issues would be present if you did play testing (You can die off spawn in Terminal Attack)
  • Add regular ranked
  • Better Anti Cheat (DMA Bypasses Easy Anti - Cheat, that's why you have a cheater epidemic)
  • Balance
  • Skill Based Match Making (Why is there unranked/bronze playing with/against diamonds in ranked)
  • A lot of unranked players are cheaters, they ruin ranked for everyone else and once they get banned they make a new account,** Better Anti Cheat or IP Ban is the only solution **
  • Remove snipers and melee's <3

The Finals devs are the most incompetent dev team I've ever seen, it's so obvious the issues of the game some playtesting will reveal it, but they don't play test.

Ranked needs a slight change imo, the points gaining to losing ratio is straight garbage. We lost one match and went down 795, next match we won every round aside from 1. I went 21-2 and only gained 975. So either the losses are too punishing or the winning isn’t rewarding enough.

honestly after the silence from embark on key issues and frustrations (but quick to gloss over or make a joke about them), the lackluster patches but pushing the new skins, the issues piling up, i am going do the only thing i can do to help this game. walk away and hope others do to until embark start to address the big issues here. i have tried to keep going and wish the game nothing but the best, i really hope it suceeds, but by playing everyday all i am doing is giving them another player number and watching nothing change. if the numbers drop, the discord goes quiet, they will have to sink or swim, but im not helping this game stay on life support any longer. the reason we have a discord and CMs is to start a dialogue between us and them, but as we see from this channel, there is rarely anything from them.

RPG Dmg could be reduced, but it must have 2 charges in that case. it'd make it balanced to be honest, instead of an insta-kill machine. Also, destruction area should be increased (even, aoe damage should be increased) in that case.
I also understand it is summer time, dev process is expected to be lower capacity.

But saying you want to do lots of cashout changes to test out in a non-ranked mode so that is the reasoning for TA ranked is.. well, we knew it is bullshit, but this just makes it sure you were lying.

Sure, world tour is fine, let the casuals love their thing. But as a ranked only player, this kills the minimal motivation to play. I enjoy playing against my skill level, currently only TA has that, and even then 90% of the matches are one sided, or has a cheater in them.

And please, lets not say "world tour has ranking". it does not. Sure it will make you feel good that you got to certain point in it, but it is not a ranked mode. It is a system to make casuals feel good, and honestly? It is good! Let people feel good, let people try out "tournament" mode, just call it something else.

But taking away ranked mode, and shifting it to TA did nothing good, besides showing how many people are actually wallhacking i guess, becaues that became pretty obvious in most games.

I guess not many play, it is very rare to have a balanced match at 45-50k+ rating where i'm currently at, but when there are no cheaters, the stars align, and there is not a fix 5-stack in the enemy team.. It is.. okay. It is still not a good mode, but it can be enjoyed. Cashout is much better, though.

Thing is, stars align maybe once every 50 games. Not good.

It would be nice if glitch grenades/barrels had some sort of counter like most of the other grenade/barrel types; this is more of a powershift issue, but it's absolutely unfun when you have a 5 stack of lights on the other team all spamming the same grenade type or constant glitch barrel spam back to back. At least with traps you can shoot them.

I have an idea to spice a little bit things up : a new rule. the cashbox that you play for in the final round starts at 10k lets say, and every kill that is made for this box brings up its value. So if it's 10K and kills are made the value of the box goes from 10k to 11k for exemple, and it goes on and on while the box isn't cashed out.

It would incite people to fight around this box to get the highest value possible, and it would certainly create new strategies and new ways to play the final round.

The cl-40 nerf made it pretty much unuseable imo

You should turn the cl-40 into something like tf2's loch n load

Doesn't deal splash damage unless it hits a player directly
(But make sure it still damages structures on direct hit to keep its destruction niche)
If it hits directly, it deals the usual splash damage to anything in the usual area
Increase the damage on direct hits (maybe 130 so you can shoot+quick melee lights? So it doesnt feel bad to face lower rate of fire) to adequately reward the increased skill floor

It will be less spammy and more skillful, because it now requires direct hits and you cant just shoot your feet anymore
At the same time it should be reasonably effective against all classes and not just lights, leaving it an overall better balanced state

Hey Embark, here's some feedback for cosmetics, why haven't we gotten an Ospuze Soda can launcher for the grenade launchers and a Soda can grenade yet? Med and Heavy have these bright yellow launchers, meds load cans into their launcher and heavies shake up the drum before they load it. Also the grenade idle could be the character shaking up the can getting it ready to pop when you toss it. Just my 1 cent though. Also I hope the server issues can be identified and fixed, constant rubber banding sucks...

The reason why Power Shift is still imbalanced at the core and made me cringe for a while (still cringing on this point): if you're going to innovate on the game mode where players have to carry a moving object from point A to point B, and your innovation is to make this object go up in the air, by all means ensure that all classes have an equal chance to reach that platform when it's stuck up in the air. I cannot count the amount of times when my Heavy class is dumbfound on the floor because it has zero solution to get back on the platform, and the enemy team has one Medium with a jump pad/zipline or a Light with a Grapplin hook and boom they win. Please Embark, give us some extra node around the map so Heavies can jump too back up on a Power shift platform. The game mode isn't fair to Heavies queuing solo as it is, since there's no guarantee of a Mid or Light appropriately equipped for this purpose in this condition. Heck I had Medium and Light teammates who had the jump pad/zipline/grapplin hook and couldn't be bothered getting on the platform, preferring to snipe or do whatever nonsense on floor. Please balance Powershift for Heavies. Please, please, please and thank you.

I loved TA last season because it was packed 5v5 for most matches, this season there's too many leaves half-way matches and being a game mode that has no backfill role, it just means you're going to have a loss when it happens on your team side. I queue TA much less now because of that, maybe once per session or less.

My reaction to "it's supposed to be heavy's weakness" was "Heavy's weakness is to be the only class not able to play the game mode properly?" what But I get you. It explains why I don't see many people queuing as Heavy on Power Shift, favoring Little and Medium when queuing solo. It's too bad because it's an amazing gameplay. The lack of solution for pushing the platform is getting to me though. I might end up queuing exclusively Medium/Light because I like focusing the platform and having a fair shot at reaching it.

@thorn kelp "Are we even playing the same game?!" We might be playing the same game, it doesn't mean that we play the same way or see the same things done in the game, hence my posts on the feedback channel. Sarcasm aside, Goo Gun will never help get back on a platform that's several feet up in the air with nothing around it, not a single build or structure. I also personally have never seen a Heavy use the Anti-Gravity Cube to reach back the Power Shift platform, I actually seldom see the Anti-Gravity Cube used at all across all game modes ever since the feature launch last season. I will give it a shot moving forward and share feedback accordingly.

TY for removing the requirement for new players to complete 3 games of TA before being able to try the actual game modes the finals is known about.
Season 3 changes are mostly good. Health regen values, guardian turret change, glitch mine rework, and gadget changes are all good. Alongside some minor weapon tweaks and improvements to useability such as KS-23 pump rate.

Now the bad.
Remember when cloak light db spam that can 2-shot any class in S1? Well, now we have throwing knives (nobody still uses the alt-fire post nerf only spam), bow with no falloff, and db is back to being able to 2-shot any class.

Remember when light stun gun spam giving free kills? Well, now we have the winch claw for heavy that not only stuns, but also pulls and allows them to do a survivable point blank rpg.

What happened to the "long ttk" gameplay?

The CL40 was given a damage nerf and a fire rate buff, making it one of the second lowest dps to the lowest dps weapon. The only possible reason for this is due to it's burst being too good in TA but in TTK, it's one of the slowest and will lose most duels if not careful. It counters L, mid to M, and weak to H. This change made it unable to fight heavies at all. The pump rate and fire rate would also be considered as a nerf as due to it depleting the 4 rounds quicker and spending more time instead with the long reload.

In s2 ranked, despite it being a poor pick, I still brought it to plat. It's main gimmick is despite the low dps, you need to play safely/area denial/insane movement and learn its trajectory for mid-long shots. Before the change, the fire rate, reload, and ammo was low but it was rewarding to hit direct hits.

Overall. Didn't care about TA, but if core game and balance changes are catered to it instead of the core gameplay of the game it will mess up balances for other modes. Showing more that, already built gameplay and balance isn't fit for it. Most of the patch felt like tossing out the balance work made during s1 and s2.

UE 5.4 brings more optimizations which make the performance better and that should improve the general game experience for people in combination with the updated better upscalers. Also, add DirectStorage api to improve loading, there are times where all players are stuck to a loading screen for the match due to singular users with slower machines, and DiSto can eliminate/lower that.

Day 106 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.

  • 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
  • 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
  • Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
  • bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)
    • significant damage to structures and players
    • gun can be pre-spooled with RMB over having an ADS (for obvious reasons, you try to aim down the sights of a water cooler)|
    • high suppressive force through sheer amount of bullets being fired
    • its a goddamn minigun
  • - Heavy cannot jump or sprint while holding it, has to switch back to primary
  • - lengthy equip-unequip time to balance such, no ā€œpocket minigunā€ strats, choosing to use this mid-combat is a commitment, one that could get you killed.
  • - gun has to spool up for a second before firing, spool up being LOUD

as a casual player that haves 150h playtime, and plays light and med heal, i really enjoyed the game on S1 and S2, but only when i play with friends, soloQ is impossible to enjoy for me, not a single time. But for the very first time, even with friends (mainly duoQ, with 1 random) the game makes us angry very fast, and we dont play for very long (we try to play everyday, usually a session is 2 to 4 hours long but now its more like 30mns to 1hr max) mainly due to some (in our opinion) overpowered weapons, expecially melee/hook heavies, but the main problem may be the random teammate that is 90% of the time actually braindead (sorry but its true). The problem is that we are too casuals to play ranked and dont want to ruin other teammate games because of our skill, so we have to suffer playing with an actual neuronless AI and it gets unplayable. Another problem is the backstab meta wich gets out of control, we dont want to use this strat since we dont find it funny. But 1 loose out of 3 is because of backstabs of teams that wait until the lasts seconds to play.

So yeah the main problem are because of players, so i dont really know what you can do about it.
And for people that will scream skill issue: i dont have the time to play more to get better and play ranked.

cmon embark, I’ve been playing since the open beta and have loved every season (especially season 1) but with every season the balancing just gets weirder and weirder, you had another weekly update and yet there was nothing but some bug fixes and honestly I’m really starting to loose hope in my favorite game, I haven’t played for a while now since well every time I do play I don’t end up having fun like I used too, and it’s not because of boredom because if we had season 1 again I know I’ll have as much fun as I used too

I've completely accepted ranked TA is a placeholder for ranked cashout coming back improved. That's okay. But can we please look at balancing? Many of the new items/gadgets are showing signs of frustrating design decisions that FPS games have made. My biggest gripe in terms of the new additions this season is the hook. It should be a gadget and not affect players. This game is getting very out of hand with how much soft CC there is.

Hook is overwatch roadhog hook 1.0. Calculations being done server side leads to ridiculous things happening, being hooked through walls or the hook not working when it very clearly should on your screen. I've said it before and I'll say it again, hard stuns and displacement like this have no place in fps games, and this isn't a hero shooter. Otherwise, the new additions are hit or miss. Spear is okay, the bow is fine, but the dual blades essentially having a genji deflect on a toggle with no cooldown leads to guns being very ineffective in lobbies where they're being used. And since we can't swap from reserve on tournament rule cashout, this stinks.

Re think the new glitch mine and sonar buffs. I think the new glitch mine either needs a health bar like the APS turret that drains as it glitches, or don't give the person who put it down a hit marker when it's activated. It's basically a trip mine version of a tracking dart, and the radius of it is really large.

Revert sonar grenade radius buff. Not sure why this happened to begin with considering how prevalent light is this season. It turns every engagement into a game of cat and mouse and makes making plays to siege/drop/raise/move cashouts very impractical because you're spammed with DETECTED the whole time because the radius is so large.

i dont think it makes sense for heavy to heal only 100 health dispite the huuge hitbox while light gets like 70% health back and heals faster. this isnt even acounting for movement and snipers that can completly shut down a heavy 10 seconds into the game, i find it unfair when i spawn in and i get headshot for 210 dmg, loosing all of my temp health and being forced to get out classed by everyone imeditally, not even the rocket launcher is this bad becasue at least you have to see eachother to actually use the rocket. a sniper literally is free especially due to heavys hitbox. pleeease give heavy more temp health or nerf light stuff. love the game, dont like the ballance choices.

One thought on progression. You've provided an end-of-season XP boost for battle pass and contracts for S2 which was cool for lesser active players. I'd like to see this game take a page from XDefiant and provide XP boost items maybe in exchange for max VRs or a regular weekend XP boost for playing matches. These XP boosts can apply not just for career/battle pass levels but also for gadget/spec XP (excluding contracts). This combined with additional progression levels beyond level 60 (even without cosmetic rewards) would help provide additional reasons for contestants to log in consistently beyond LTMs and grinding leaderboards.

When playing ranked (I’m sure all have been aware and have said), teammates leaving is not giving good experiences. Yes after the first round the game recognizes i; however people quit/lose connection in the 2nd 3rd rounds too. It makes it difficult to want to keep playing when in that way, it’s unbalanced.

on top of that the current way they ranking system works and in previous seasons is not about skill or achieving something.
in other games you have to become proficient at the game and build good habits to make your way to the top.
in the finals everyone can get diamond or even ruby now. its just about how much you play and doesn't rely on skill factors at all.

and thats just talking about the ranked system.

They need to look more into how Overwatch does things and incorporate that into the game.
in OW, if you die, the respawn timer is like 6 sec, but then you have to treck across the map to get back to where your team is.
so the amount of time that the player is out of the fight is the same, but they are atleast playing for that time instead of staring at a timer counting down from 25 or whatever it is..

the thing people dont like about cashout is the fact that its constantly BR 3rd party simulator. There is always another team breathing down your neck even if you win a point and cap. the next team will be rolling in right as you are trying to revive.
the easiest way to fix this frustration that players have is to make cashout 2 teams of 5 instead of 4 teams of 3.
it would make balancing spawns alot easier for the devs and it would make the gameplay more understandable for new and casual players.

keep cashout the way it is, but 1 obj, 2 teams of 5, more time per obj and make it 3 total obj's.
whichever team has 2 vaults cashed wins the game. total game time per match would be around 15-20 min
ranked matches in games are generally longer than the casual game types.

I get that a lot of this is easier said than done,
But I think it would be a lot more of a solid base to build from.

The other thing that has bothered me about the game for a while is not letting players switch things from their reserve during a match.
This completely negates the reason for having the reserve..
Picture you are watching a sports team play a match.
and when they do the play it is countered by the other team.
in every sport or game you change your strategy and adapt to the competitors plays.
The way the finals works right now is: call a play or style of loadout > it doesn't work > proceed to get hard countered for the entirety of the match > lose.
I cannot think of any game or sport that has you hard lock into a strategy for the entire match. (but maybe I'm just not cultured enough to know ones that do)

Another thing that has bothered me about the finals, but alot of games overall is that there is this culture now in gaming where people will whine and cry about "X,Y,& Z is broken or OP it needs to be removed or nerfed". This is not a good mindset or way to approach things.
When looking at things that people are saying are broken the workflow should go like this: Is it actually broken or unintended
Yes > fix or patch
No > create a counter/highlight the tools to negate the thing that people are not happy with

An example of this is the fact that people were raging about how hard light invis was hard to see and people were getting worked up about it.
Instead of making the invis easier to see, why not make thermal vision a common utility item for all classes.. and not just util on the class that has the thing that is the problem.
So the people who really hate invis can deal with it while playing the class they like.
Building or creating counters for things is better because people can feel like they have the impact or powers they like while not ruining gameplay.

Health regen is exactly what it should be. You still have to do less damage to a light. 150 to 1 and back to 100 is 249 health which is still less than the medium starts with, so no, health regen is fine, stop getting shot lol. A heavy can lose 370 health or wahatever and get 100 back thats 470 health

Playing the game right now. Messing around with the SH1900. It feels good to get kills with this gun but it feels really poor.

  • You really have to hit both your shots, which I can live with.
  • But then the reload animation is so long that if you are running into more than one person, you are pretty boned. I end up with a decent amount of kills but I don't feel valuable because I cant stay in the game after that kill if there are other enemies around (there always are.)

Currently running Cloak because my strategy is that I can use the cloak after the kill to hide and reload somewhere. But it's not really working out so well. I'm down to throw Evade on instead but I want this build to work.

I think of a new game mode (not easy because if we want to stay in the spirit of the game (cash box, cash terminal...).

Well, this mode will be in 2 phases:

  1. One team (maybe more, 5 players or 3...) is attacking a bank/safe. The other team(s) defends it.
    To steal the cash in the bank or open the safe or steal the safe the objective has a "health bar" or we need to use a "unlocking key" (so need time to unlock)
    If the defenders succeed to protect until the time is up, they win, else we go on phase 2.
  2. The safe/cash is transported on a moving platform or something else and the goal (for the attackers) is to protect the loot until the extraction point (platform moving automatically). The defenders have to stay in the platform aera some time (or kill all the opponents (limited tickets)) or time is up, platform can be slowed down.

This new game mode will be in the next season where the theme will be Western/Medieval and the platform a kind of stagecoach (ok stagecoach VS rocket launcher....)

an interesting idea, to expand on it more, maybe something similar to TA, but with healing and respawns, a 2 stage match, using a device you must plant on a vault to extract the cashbox. with the defenders capturing it to stop the cutting, if they defend for long enough they win, but when it pops open the timer extends and 2 or 3 cashouts spawn on the map, the attackers must grab it and get it to a cashout, and then they are the defenders stopping the other team from stopping the cashout.

They need to make a "squad" system next season.
For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:

"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:
-Vaiiya
-Volpe
-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.

During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)

This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.

Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.

This creates urgency AND rarity since -for example- the season 4 OSPUZE set will never show up again. (Same for Engimo, Vaiiya, etc.)
Remember, ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ONE SEASON

Top companies (companies with the most "fame" or money cashed out) are showed on the World Tour leaderboard.
There they should be able to display or link their Twitch and other socials.

Bring (old) game modes by adding a weekly rotation so every week we have a new game mode to play. It prevents long queues and splitting the player base into different games. NOW: 20 secs of running close to wall and spending of abilities at start. You did these 20 secs for strategy talking or what? All what need to game is already talked about.
**SHOULD: **Players should be frozen at 5 seconds, without blocked areas and else. Probably so that the player wouldn't be bored being frozen for 5 seconds add cool effects and screen blinking and also allow expressions and emotes. • The winch claw + two spear hits + rocket launcher combo is overpowered. There is literally nothing a medium can do, after the stun I can’t even place a jump pad before the rocket gets to me and I’m dead.

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:

  • While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
  • The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
  • Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
  • Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
  • Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders

FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:

  • When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
  • Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
  • Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see

GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:

  • Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.

I mean, if a light doesn't hit you with 2-3 direct hits in a row, you have way more than enough time to kill them, and rarely does anyone hit all their shots with knives (unless you stand still which is a skill issue on your part in that case). I'm pretty decent with knives and I don't hit all my shots. You have to lead with them and they have a slow throw speed, I honestly don't understand all the complaints, I have no issues fighting TK lights as a light or a medium (I don't play heavy). Half the time you get deleted before you can land a second hit.

Remove sniper from terminal attack.
Some of the open maps make it impossible to go against a sniper when they can just chunk off half the team's health before they even get within eye sight of the objective, not even taking into account the spawn killing

if you are airborn or moving/sliding they are really inaccurate and you can't sprint between throws and your move speed is slower than walking if you are strafing while throwing, and you do have to lead them and account for distance (aiming higher) unless you are practically in their face, and going 30-5 doesn't mean anything. Most of the time if a light is getting that kind of KD he's being absolutely useless as a team mate. literally every other gun light has kills as fast or faster (assuming you hit every knife throw). The only reason why they feel bad to die from is because the lack of feedback when you're being attacked/hit by them. They are the most balanced now than they ever have been. The only clown here is the guy crying about throwing knives after they finally got a much needed buff.

throwing knives are literally D tier or lower in most peoples tier list, seriously. Go look up TTKs. Curious how many hours you have in the game. I rarely ever die multiple times by the same dude with throwing knives, and I never complain about it. There are far more annoying weapons in the game. I run throwing knives for fun sometimes, and most of the time I end up switching weapons mid game if I start taking it seriously and want to win.

The FCAR should maybe have the recoil slightly adjusted, and the clip should deffo go back to 20 and slight rebuff of damage (like a few dmg per bullet). I can get laced by this thing long range if the person is able to pull down with all their sensitivity for the breif window and not all of us run quite high enough sensitivity to bring that aim down for more headshots (which is what matters when equal skills).

doesn't matter if they suck as a teammate, it still sucks for whoever was on the receiving end of that 30:5 kd

its true that ttk is barely different, but they still have infinite ammo
with most other weapons, they still need to reload, leaving them open for a punish if they didn't aim well enough
a lot of their weapons also force you to keep the crosshair on them, which is harder to do than tk's timing

and all of that, while they dont need to aim down sight
most other weapons needs to ads to do any substantial damage beyond hand-shaking range
this slows you down and leaves you easy to hit
tk's do not share this risk

feedback is not an issue, we can tell when a light is running at us
its not worse than actual hitscan bullets, which dont give us any issues

same ttk, easier to hit your shots, less risk if you mess up
its a straight upgrade in a majority of situations and way too strong

i really hope it gets a nerf, its making it hard to enjoy the game

i love this game to death. it singlehandedly breathed life into the fps genre, showing that all the stale releases were a product of corporate safety rather than exhausted resources.

turning the game into a pseudo-counterstrike which lacks the aspects that keep people playing that gameform has to be the most heartbreaking thing thats happened to gaming in the past 3 years. everything else about season 3 is beautiful, from kyoto to the new specializations/gadgets. theres so much untapped potential for the cashout game mode already present in the game, yet i cant bring myself to open and play a casual experience.

with the console release of valorant around the corner, which isnt my personal cup of tea, the finals is at an immense threat of death considering ~70% of its playerbase is console-wide. unfortunately, this season cant be used to gain momentum, and now embark will be tasked with dropping a patch of unreal levels in season 4 to hold any weight against an already established game with huge followings.

i can only hope embark will make the finals a competitor to the mainstay fps genre through originality rather than raging against the machine with already explored mechanics and game modes.

my hopes are with this community, but my support, unfortunately, is currently not.

I disagree, they are way too situational, and you have to make yourself vulnerable to use them effectively and you have to practically stand still to throw them, and if you're in effective range with them you're fucked if you miss a single shot, and if not the other person deserves to die. It doesn't matter if there's no reload, its like an entire second between throws. Nobody is running TK in world tour, which isn't even ranked and has no stakes. needing to keep your crosshair on a person vs timing your aim with every throw sounds like a downside to throwing knives to me. Like I said, I have no problem dealing with lights with TK, the only time they are even remotely a problem is if im shooting someone else and I don't hear them run up behind me.

Day 107 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.

  • 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored four bullets every second, 50 seconds for a full reload.
  • 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
  • Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, you’re probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
  • bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)
    • significant damage to structures and players
    • gun can be pre-spooled with RMB over having an ADS (for obvious reasons, you try to aim down the sights of a water cooler)|
    • high suppressive force through sheer amount of bullets being fired
    • its a goddamn minigun
  • - Heavy cannot jump or sprint while holding it, has to switch back to primary
  • - lengthy equip-unequip time to balance such, no ā€œpocket minigunā€ strats, choosing to use this mid-combat is a commitment, one that could get you killed.
  • - gun has to spool up for a second before firing, spool up being LOUD

and as explained, you actually have less risk, since you dont need to ads
youre not done for if you miss a single shot, if anything this weapon is more forgiving in close range because of its infinite ammo
unless you mean being killed by someone else before you get to kill them, which this weapon also just happens to make less likely because you can dodge more easily

tk's and guns have the same dps, that is with tk's throwing delay accounted for
if you take the dps with reloads, tk's beats them all because they dont need to reload
pretty much all lights i see are running tk's
with full auto you need to aim the whole time and make sure your crosshair is on them for an extended period of time, as oppose to tk's which you need to hit 2-3 times, they are easier
fighting fire with fire just leads to net 0
but trying to play anything else doesn't work or feels incredibly bad

lights can force close range if using dash, and IMO dash is probably the worst special to use with TK, you are vulnerable because your movement speed is half that of walking speed while throwing and you have to be close range. I don't see how needing to ADS with weapons is more risk, I can hipfire kill lights within throwing knife range with an AKM. you are done if you miss a single knife, unless the person you are fighting can't aim worth a shit, and in that case they deserve to die. You can't dodge more easily unless you have dash, again movement speed is half that of walking while throwing, if someone can't hit you while you're going back and forth within a foot vs full on sprint with hipfire M11 or MP5, thats a skill issue, I also usually have no trouble tracking through dashes. Again I disagree on pretty much everything. Throwing knives are not the thing that kills my fun, they aren't even top 3. I donno what to tell you, I don't mean to sound rude and I don't wanna be that guy and say skill issue butttt....looks like someone already beat me to it.

Yes, risk and vulnerablity are two different things. Yet you make yourself vulnerable by taking away mobility (in a game with high mobility that is) and you are also taking away some of your field of view due to the narrowed FOV.
That is not risk. It is risky since you make yourself "vulnerable" by doing so.

But the TK don't have that since they are designed for close range spam. Which is their core concept and completely fine in that regard.
Yet the lack of any downtime makes them really frustrating to play against.

@pearl kiln I Genuinely apologize for the ping but since you are our voice to Embark, heres what I feel like the community wants changed with TA.

TA Is a great game mode don't get me wrong, when it's played competively and correctly it's awesome. BUT there one BIG problem with TA... If all the players aren't around the same skill level it becomes worse than Ranked Cashout and 3rd partying.

So what I propose is a 5v5 cashout. It keeps the game's Iconic Cashout game mode and removes 3rd partying. Now heres where things change...
It'd be the same concept as TA except maybe (this is a suggestion if token respawn is not favored) there's no respawn tokens and only player respawns. Player's Statues can be retrieved and respawned, but dead players can NOT revive themselves. NOTE: Medium classes CAN use heal beam and defibrillator, BUT the 100hp max recovery is still implemented IF you are not healed with healing beam. If you are healed with healing beam you can be healed to 75% HP. (varies on class of the player)

Alternative 2, no healing but players can regen up to 50% but mediums cannot use heal beam and can obly use defibrillator or use revive tokens to respawn into the game.

Also, Red team would be given a set ammount of time to get to cashbox before Blue team.

I strongly hope this can be tried and tested in season 4 and I hope it will be able to solve Embark and us players problems.

How so?

Well if thats your issue, theres a reason why ive stacked on the limitations. Long CD, Heavy movement limitation, Sluggish ease of use with a lack of ADS accuracy or instant fire, and damage thats only on-par with other heavy options.

I cant have all those limiters on the weapon as a primary or else thered be too much holding it back, but trying to balance something like a minigun around being a primary would be awkward.

When you dump said mag in ten seconds and it takes a minute to get the whole mag back, yeah it is.

RPG doesnt take a full second to spool up, limit you to walking, or make a loud ass noise while spooling. If you pull out a minigun mid-combat, your opponents will know it, and have a chance to capitalize on it.

The risks are to counterbalance the benefits, because on the other side of the field, you have ten seconds of shredding power that decimates walls and annihilates anyone who gets in front of you. Theres no taking cover theres no facetanking the damage, the benefit is the insane utility of having ten seconds of "you dont get to stand in front of me". It would be extremely useful both for defending and breaching points.

As for the heavy complaints, we got both of our machine guns hit pretty bad. we could have ranked badges specific to the modes: what i mean by this is World Tour can have its own full badge system as if it were ranked, and Terminal Attack can have its own badge system the way it is now, but give the rewards to those who grind the mode out, as more people are playing cashout than TA anyway and it’d allow World Tour/cashout players the chance to earn the same rewards for playing the same way ranked does

note: writing this made me think of Apex’s badges when they had Battle Royale and Arenas for SEPERATE ranked rewards, all World Tour needs is the rest of the badges to complete it

I hope someone from the devs reads this. This ranked system needs a big change. First of all its insane the amount of points i lose when i lost a match... Today i lost everything i gained in a fucking week. almost minus 4000 points in total, just because of this stupid matchmaking and scoring system!

The first match i played today my team was FULL SILVER and the enemy team was FULL GOLD AND ONE PLAT??? I carried the fucking team and then despite the loss i got -1400? Today i got twice -1400 for a fucking loss? But when we are 2-5 behind and we clutch 7-5 AND THE ONES WHO CARRIED was me and my teammate. You wanna know how much we got? +475??? THIS SHIT IS GETTING CRAZY. Im stuck in gold 2/1 because everytime i lose, doesn't matter even if i carried i get always -1000.

We played with a random guy he was unranked and when he got placed he was like silver 1. The next game we played we won, he got 4K / 4A / 8D and got +1080??? my stats were 14K/6A/7D and had like 1400 Objective score. I GOT +700! Please i am begging you to fix this fucking system.

dagger backstab should either be given back multihit or have multihit if the first registered hit isnt a backstab. Dagger's one niche that it excelled in is stopping steals, however with the recent removal of right click multihit anyone with a brain has realized that they can just stack multiple people on objectives to completely negate the dagger. LH1 WAS PERFECTLY BALANCED IN SEASON 2 (HERES WHY)

Embark I REALLY want you guys to listen to this. As a light main and someone who was a passionate LH1 Player, I really want you guys to think about the 2 key points i want to make. One of the reasons I am addressing these points specifically is because of the LH1 dev note left, in the patch notes for 3.0.0. (Dev Note: Overall the effective damage of the LH1 should remain roughly the same, but it should now be easier to use, less nauseating, and more precise when standing still, as well as incentivizing headshots. The lower RPM should help make it feel distinct and make it easier to maintain targets in sights)

A •Not every gun needs to be easy to use

B •Some weapons need to be less accessible .ie harder to use.

The primary reason im emphasizing this is because the numbers on the LH1 right now are still incredibly overpowered when its as easy as it is to use. So Ill make a few comparisons to help give some insight. With the R.357 it has whopping 74 body shot damage and 148 head damage. The R.357 also has no recoil, so if you were to hold completely still and shoot all the bullets shot would be in the same spot. Now imagine you reduced the visual recoil. It would be a nightmare to deal with, even if recoil was added, not because the numbers are to high, but because its too easy to use.

Another example I can give is the V9S and it might be a better comparison than the R.357. The V9S is not a highly used gun, the reason I hear from most people is because "The visual recoil makes it to hard to use". Now at first that may sound like a bad thing ,but its because if it were any other way the gun would be overpowered. The V9S does 37 damage body shot and 55.5 to the head. The gun is incredibly strong but the visual recoil helps keep it balanced. Imagine if you gave it the LH1 treatment and reduced the visual recoil it would be a laser beam as it already has the 2nd lowest TTK out of any light weapon.

CROSSHAIRS

I believe there needs to be some work done on the Crosshairs, not necessarily the visible Crosshair but more so the ADS. I have a lot of skins for many different guns that I use, and depending on what skin im using I sometimes end up finding myself in situations where being able to see the center of where my bullets are going when I ADS is difficult due to things like lighting, shading, and the colour of the walls in the building im in. This issue with barely being able to see the center of the Crosshair when ADS is prominent especially in the map SY$SHORIZON.

I asked around if I was able to use Crosshair X (A Crosshair overlay off of Steam) to assist with being able to see the center point of my screen when aiming but I was met with a lot of feedback leaning towards the idea that I might get banned because it could be mistaken for something else like a cheat software or something. If people can use apps like Crosshair X that are valid apps that can be used in other games I believe this issue can be fixed, unless there is a way to add some sort of indication like a different coloured light on the center of the ADS to make it easier to see where your bullets are going.

I feel that rather than health regen cap being 100 it should be 50% of your characters HP, so Light-75 Medium-125 Heavy-175, i feel this would make each class be more true to what they should be, light being weak but agile with a high DPS output, medium would feel more well rounded, and heavy would actually feel a little like the tank they're supposed to be!

its crazy how broken the new ranked mode is. theres so many balance issues and items that just dont work in a s.n.d(search and destroy) mode. Just please nerf snipers in the mode. a team can legit go 3 sniper's and camp your spawn from 3 different angles (defense, attack doesn't matter which) all while doing half your health in a mode where you can only regen 100hp and have one life from 200m+ away on towers, and to top it off even more they have high mobility and stuff like invisibility that makes them even harder to counter. like legit the only way to counter it is if you go sniper yourself, cause any medium ar cant do anything from the range their at and heavy's cant do anything because they cant even get close. Kyoto is all this, times 100. its so bad

ranked has been made to be perfect for cheaters, while being made absolutely pointless for most legitimate players, core ranked gamemode being changed under the guise of being made more competitive is absolute copium, you can play an existing gamemode competitively which is what cashout was, nothing has been done to retain players but a bunch of things have been done to push players away, honestly feels like everything that made me interested in supporting the game and Embark is fading away quite rapidly, at this point i cant bring myself to start up the game, it feels like the real issues have been largely ignored while superficial ones are being created and addressed regularly, i think the company-player relations have been heavily (irreparably?) damaged over the last 2 seasons, that along with the insane amount of cheating has made the game feel like i should be paid to play it

its simply not fun anymore its quite draining actually, getting on the game and within 2 or 3 ranked games (which are already painful enough as i do not like TA i prefer cashout as it was since the beginning) coming up against cheaters that remove any progress i make, reporting them in game, making a video report, re queue, get cheaters again within 3 games, then closing the game

You also have people that will just rage quit after 2 rounds because theres little repercussion. To top it off these games that you lose with cheaters and leavers you can lose 1,000+ rs. Legit had a game where 3 of the enemy team members left. we won, and got 1,300 rs. Its a fucking joke

Some indication that Embark employees are actually monitoring the bug reports people are making in this discord would be great, because right now there are some reports with hundreds of confirmed cases that have not been acknowledged at all. Even a simple "We'll look into this" would let players know that you're actually paying attention and listening to feedback. If you don't get involved then it starts to seem like you created that reporting forum just to let people shout into the void rather than because you're actually intending to fix anything. It's especially frustrating when those reports have been there since the start of season 3 and this weeks update was particularly light on meaningful fixes - for example like the hundreds of players getting stuck at loading screen when getting into a game, and having to alt-f4 to reconnect (which gets you penalized on terminal attack, too)

Nothing more frustrating than a dev trying to sell you new skins while the game itself is full of bugs that are being ignored.

idk if I'm the only one who feels this way but I have literally never had fun in a moving platform mode- especially in seoul. even when you're the one winning them it just feels so lackluster with teams just fighting each other before getting to the platform at all and by the time theyre done fighting- the cashout is again on the other side of the map

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:

  • While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
  • The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
  • Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
  • Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
  • Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders

FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:

  • When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
  • Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
  • Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see

GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:

  • Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.

FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:

  • Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

You're fighting and think you are winning then the server "catches up" and you take an additional 20 bullets after ducking.

It's a complete joke for an fps.

Now they have health, shields, more fire power and can disable your movement.

There is currently a game breaking bug I’ve gotten two games in a row where I cant throw my gateways on light class even after I respawn still they aren’t throwable once it starts it doesn’t stop till the next game then inevitably stops working again in game

Well season 3 is a huge failure. It's lacking the most fundemental changes this game needs.

  • No updated servers or improved netcode, meaning desync/delay is still there which can be up to 1 second if not more
  • No improvements to hit-registration, meaning sometimes your shots/hit just does nothing
  • Game did not receive any improved optimization, meaning it still runs like shit even if everything is on low
  • No fix for crash to desktop
  • No fix for PC crashing
  • No fix for unable to do any action like using a zipline or attacking
  • No fix for the parkour which still is unreliable and buggy
  • Still not banning cheaters permanently
  • No fix for the respawn system which in most cases gives advantage to respawning team
  • Store credits still doesnt show real value of the price in euro or you local currency
  • Gam needs more in-depth profiles with match history and stats
  • Still can't see other players steam profile
  • No specific keybindings for each class and loadout
  • No setting for default skins in equipment menu
  • No fix for sword/melee abusers, can still sword attack and quick attack, and emote/gadget switching for infinite dmg
  • No UI for ping/latency
  • Not removing aim assist from PC lobbies
  • No improvement on visible stats/numbers on weapons and gadgets
  • And lets not dive in to the balancing, its been shit all the time.

We all understand that this game released in an very early alpha stage but can we please get basic game improvements over new content

  1. Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

  2. Give more button optimisation for controller players for example triggering something or being able to choose an item with the double tap or triple of a button or swipe on the middle pad of a controller.

Hello! Been playing a lot of terminal attack ranked here, top 500, and I’ve noticed a very common issue for the light class. It’s fairly obvious that light is the strongest class in TA not only due to everyone regenerating to 100 hp, but also because of the extreme versatility of the class for this particular game mode. All of the top 500 stacks I’ve played against usually consist of at least 4 lights which I think is an issue (coming from a light main), but this can be changed! Light has long range (great for chip damage which is an important aspect of the mode), recon abilities (2 sonar grenades which allows for teams of multiple lights to have practically constant recon), and thermal vision (a regenerating ability that can entirely counter a whole specialization). My #1 issue has to be the thermal vision, lights really shouldn’t be the ones to have it if they are the ones with cloak in the first place. This game is designed around rock, paper, scissors type of engagement, so I feel that medium should have thermal vision at the very least. This will encourage players to pick medium against teams with lots of lights, and diversify the class picks instead of multiple lights. To fix the long range chip damage aspect, all classes can regenerate to 2/3rd’s of their health (100, 165, 230) so that the sniper and LH1 aren’t so oppressive. If these other changes don’t make people play light less, then maybe recon can be changed by limiting sonar grenades to 1 that will regenerate over a longer time (maybe a minute) than starting with 2 sonar grenades

Medium Weapon Ideas-

An M110 Marksman Rifle to serve as Medium's DMR with a holo sight or irons, maybe a x2 scope.

A 1911 Handgun to serve as a high-rate of fire, accurate and hard hitting pistol with a small mag size and limited range for superb close quarters burst damage and aggression during rapid pushes.

A Holger-26 for Medium to serve as their own LMG with a lower DPS than the AKM and slightly worse accuracy but 60 round mag to lay down alarming amounts of Suppressive fire, such a mag size could prove invaluable to MMH teams where either the other Medium or the Heavy is a Melee Combatant.

Rhodesian FAL, an FN-FAL with inverted Recoil on Semi auto to serve as another alternative to a Medium DMR but with a unique and interesting Twist in the Recoil.

Light Weapon Ideas-

A .44 Magnum Lever Action Rifle to serve as a slower firing wonkier reload but harder hitting alternative to the LH1, lower range and headshot multiplier though.

Heavy Weapon Ideas-

Vicc's Minigun Idea found here at #šŸ‘‚ā”‡game-feedback message I don't think this would be a good specialization although it'd make a fine primary weapon with the stats he's suggested, maybe with less range, arena destruction however and the ability to sprint and jump with it. overall this idea is relatively balanced but would serve to be a better primary than specialization in my own opinion.

Potentially a .500 S&W Magnum Revolver, to act like the R.357's bigger brother probably even being named the R.500, with a similar range but higher body shot damage and lower head-shot multiplier I think this would be a fine addition to welcome Heavy into the Pistols club.

@upper saddle Nice suggestions IMO, I have some of my own:
For light I'd love to see a carbine style assault rifle like an AK-74u or a G36C. Something with a significantly lower fire rate than the XP-54, but with higher damage and better range. There's not really an option between the XP-54 and the LH1 right now, something like that would fill the gap nicely I think.

I'd love to see a medium SMG as well, something like a Vector or P90 would be cool. Either something like a Vector with relatively high damage, low mag size and high fire rate or a P90 with lower damage and bigger mag size and a bit of range.

For heavy I'd like to see a more "assault rifle style" LMG like an RPK or M4-style AR with a drum mag. Damage could be somewhat lower than the M60, higher accuracy and lower recoil with a big magazine (~50 bullets) and a quicker reload time than the Lewis/M60.

long story short I'd love to simply see a couple more regular guns instead of spears and throwing knives.

I have a great idea - how about showing players that leaves recently game ? I just finished Terminal Attack and i noticed, that there are 2 players lacking, so i couldnt report them either teammates. Next idea are bots on place players who leave - its always a distraction. Maybe connecting players that are searching game. Playing a game where half team just left is not a pleasure and we cant leave either because of time limited block. You should think about this issues to make it better, still a great game and i wont leave cause of LoL players šŸ™‚

I never quit matches. The only exception is a bug which occasionally happens whereby I can’t shoot or ADS. Maybe when you quit, you should have the option to report it was due to a bug. The devs could then check the log and you won’t get punished for leaving a game you can’t participate in. My issues are on the PS5
