i dont know if this is considered a bug but it 100% is in my opinion. the new anime face has very obvious eyes on it, i was waiting to get this skin and now that i have finally gotten it im a bit disappointed that only the "calm cool lenses" work as a change for the pair. this is a anime face and the "fiery photon lenses" would be a perfect fit as they look like a sharingan. i dont understand why its not in the game. i understand for faces such as "dashboard smirk", "multi-mood mask" and "ariad" for obvious reasons. but i feel as though if the "calm cool lenses" work on this face the others should as well. it feels like a bug and/or a easy add. its especially disappointing as i had high hopes and grinded for these lenses and skin and i cant use them how i want. i see no reason why this isnt available on this face.
Icl one thing I will is say ,disagree or agree, is a lot of people Hate light for no reason like brother Iām not gonna say Iām the best I average a minimum of 5 kills & assist per game and get either a few steals or decryptions in and also I get revives as well but like my teammate either leave me or just talk shit about or even blame me for there own mistake come on man like let me have fun and enjoy the game like even on unranked this type of bs happens, like I stopped at plat 2 on purpose last season cuz people kept leaving my team and didnāt play for the rest of the season after that except for doing challenges

Stage 3 contract for challenger circuit seems to be broken, the one that says :"Get 15 eliminations or assists with Launchers or Shotguns", no matter what I do it doesn't count, I used shotguns and launchers on all classes but it doesn't count.

yeah it's a tough one to figure out for sure. I had a solo game last night where my teammate went 0-8 and was griefing the game by not reviving anybody and sitting in a corner because he thought I was cheating lol. at that point I would rather leave, or have him leave because he thought I was cheating and have a backfill.
I would say backfilling should happen in the 1st round at least. during the 2nd/3rd rounds I'm not sure yet. playing devil's advocate; if leave penalties were removed, people would leave the 2nd/3rd round if they're losing, so a backfill would be helpful. also, a team could 'rig' the round and help the team with 1-2 players to get qualified by focusing the other teams (which I am guilty of abusing in rank cashout) for an easy final round.
for your concern, they would have to make it so the backfilled player only receives the $ and xp from that round they joined and forward. I wouldn't care if they did get all the $ and xp for free to be honest. it doesn't really hurt anyone else unless someone thinks the cash earned is a meaningful leaderboard system

World tour has pretty much turned to TDM. No one going for vaults and only hunting other teams
ban 1 weapon from each class on powershift, sniper, CL40, and spear and I swear the gamemode is fixed, none of them are even that OP on the mode theyre all just extremely annoying

The only rank jump that took a minute was plat 1 to diamond 4. Mostly due to constant top500s and third partying. The rest was a breeze.

Well in my case i got to the final (lol) level of the pass. I just didnt purchase it so therefore only got the free rewards.
Maybe they should put some more multi bucks in the pass and available in world tour to make those rewards more available but worth the grind for everyone
some of the cashout spots are so bad man. hospital in seoul? incredibly defense-sided. any of the hanging platforms? again, same thing unless enemy team has ways to get up or deto from far. moving platforms? super attack-sided, really easy to just pyro the safe spots and force them to come out into the open
oh yeah. and give us back ranked cashout š ranked terminal attack makes no sense lore wise and everyone knows this game for cashout, not for being a copy of every strategic shooter ever

This season has too much reveal/CC stuff, please consider reworking glitch mines again OR give them a health bar that drains as they affect people. The amount of DETECTED from the buffed sonar grenades, motion sensors, and glitch mines CCing me/revealing me is getting to be unbearable. I understand they have very little HP but they are compounding the issue. Just a little too much revealing/recon things in the meta right now in my opinion.
They took an inherently sweaty mode and made it casual, took a more-easily casual mode and made it ranked and wonder what went wrong lol

Embark, SOOOOOOO many cheaters ran into 4 today , losing 1100-1300 each game cause dudes are 5 stacking getting boosted having a unranked player clearly openly cheating, and ik they cheating cause every time i report them get a jolly ol message saying "thank you for blah blah" and cheater getting banned. Your game has so many cheaters right now its insane, you should make a system that refunds RS lost for losing against someone that gets reported and banned for cheating would make the game so much enjoyable knowing that if im losing 7-0 to a cheater that i will at least get the RS lost back instead of me just switching to another game because it just killed my mood for grinding, that literally just happened rn and why me and my whole 5 stack just got off we just won 3 games in a row (taking about 2 hours) to get around 1600 RS just to lose it all in a matter of 15 mins just to regrind all over again. Please implement in a sytsem where you can get RS Back, at least until you can fix your anti cheat symstem please.
all the guns feel like shit. TA would have never worked in the finals and embark knows it. Nexon forced them to create bomb mode. Congrats on taking a unique fps game and ripping most of the creativity out. patch by patch. hardly anything improves. always tone deaf patches. Yeah cashout mode was so fresh and distinct, and the issue with TA is also that they tried to replicate Valorant's match making and rank system algorithm but failed miserably to do so, many times you will hardly get some RS for killing 16 people and winning and you'll lose a hell lot of RS even when you were the best in the whole match.

Sword doesnt have good ttk against M and H so if you can shoot them you can kill them. That being said, its still hard (as it should be, melee should dominate at melee range)

Iāve noticed that if the enemyās rank score is higher than your teamās, it means that youāll go up in rank more, usually earning 1k+ to some degree (at least in gold > plat), while if the enemy teamās ranked score is lower than yours, you have to fight to stop from dropping lower than what you would earning the win.

I understand wanting to separate out the different regions in Would Tour, but this thing with only playing a subset of maps for two weeks is stupid. Especially if you're forced to play shit maps. At least make it so that you can select between different tournament regions or something like a map selector. Monaco and Vegas for two weeks is fucking torture. Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

idk exactly how, first time this has happened, started loading into final round of tournament and my entire screen was covered by the loading in screen after loading in, death didnt change it, respawning normally or reviving, spectating, my hud was all working normally though, i also tried changing graphic settings and alt tabbing but wouldnt go away

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Please consider a change to the suspension from leaving a game if the player reconnects. Just played a WT where my internet **** itself first round but my team still ended up winning. I reconnected into the second game and we qualified again, but I was kicked and suspended in the loading screen for the 3rd game, leaving my teammates without a third again. Possible to apply the suspension after the ranked sequence of games is over?

Exactly my experience. This mode makes zero effort to match you with teammates of similar experience/skill level, so 80% of matches are a complete wash. It's meant to be a competitive mode, not casual. Yet, it feels like newcomers to the game load into it straight away as their first match. I just wish they made solo-queuing more viable and not complete misery.

mate, this is not game feedback... it is just a question. You have to finish t500 til s3 ends up.
I've encountered that bug before alt+f4ing the game and launching the game again the reconnect option was visible most of the times.
switching cashout to just 1 deposit and money over time like every quarter. Therefore last minute steals isn't worth anymore, so you have constant fights.
To Embark's Combat Team- I believe these changes will put many weapons in a much better state and make the game feel more balanced.
Fcar: Increase the Damage from 22 to 24 per bullet, this is sort of all it's ever needed to be balanced, 24 takes one additional shot to kill all builds when compared to the old 25 and 26 damage versions of the gun while buffing it's team fighting ability.
Lewis Gun: Increase Damage from 22 to 24 per bullet, similar story to the Fcar.
M60: Buff this sucker back to 20 damage a shot, it feels like a pea-shooting laser beam right now.
Riot Shield: Increase this thing's damage to 88 it's absurdly weak against Heavies, it's needed this change since launch.
Dual Blades: The third hit on these thing is pathetically weak at what, 65 damage? Is it meant to deal this damage twice or is it just bad intentionally? it needs to deal about 120 damage on the third hit to make it worth while because as it stands the third hit is slow and weak making quick meleeing to cancel the third hit more beneficial than actually making that attack.
RPG: Reduce this thing's damage to 100 and reduce the cooldown, remove the bloom when Aiming it, it should be a powerful area of effect and destruction tool but as it stands it's more often used as a single target destruction button.
Charge and Slam: This contributes to the Heavy burst problem, it's damage needs to either be set to 70 on all impacts or reduced to 100 on the first hit then 40 on each hit afterwards, in addition to the changes to the RPG Light builds will be able to more confidently Exist in the same arena as Heavies without fear of getting instantly deleted.
CL-40: The changes to this weapon fundamentally gutted it, it needs some damage back, possibly a return to 100 damage?
MGL-32: If You guys do nerf the RPG and Charge consider increasing it's damage to 88 as well.
R.357: This thing needs slightly better hip fire, range and slightly less damage fall off.
Agreed. With the current penalty system, many continue to ragequit early into the match. There should definitely be a backfill, but whoever fills in just shouldn't have a loss counted to them for that round.

I have had people in the past leave a game because they didn't want the game to count towards there Win rate, worse is people who leave to protect there KDA so there deaths dont surpass there Kills, and even worse are people who leave if your team gets wiped once
Hey is there a possibility to add in the future the ability to go back and finish the previous battlepasses , this semester has been very busy for me in fact my finals aren't even done yet which caused me to miss out on the second half of S2 battlepass , so all I'm saying is it would be super nice if once you own the battlepass you get to finish it at your own pace ( + 120 fps mode for console pls)

That is so ridiculous. It should automatically count as a loss to them if they quit. Same with eliminations and deaths, it should stick with them whether they leave or not. What's done is done, someone shouldn't be able to void a bad performance by just ragequitting.

Cheating is out of its mind tody. 2 matches, 1 obvious aim botter, level 16 account, and 1 100% wallhacker. ~45k elo. and in TA it is even more obvious now. My third game today is currently on, aim botter in the enemy team again. Same as in my first match. That is -3k points today for playing into cheaters, having zero possibility of winning. So, why exactly should i grind a bad mode to try to gain some points when most games are against cheaters, lots that are not super obvious as well and i might not even catch it?

Throwing knifes should be changed so that secondary is viable. Let us hold right click for secondary, decrease delay between the 2 knifes or increase velocity and slightly buff crit damage. Nerf primary

I'm sorry to say this, but @pearl kiln TA rank and the mode itself has ruined your game. I know data is being collected as proof of this. World Tour is the better mode. An interesting concept is a 5v5 cashout mode for rank. How you figure the details is solely up to you, but the chaos, counter play, skills, team play, and actively engaging in fights to see who earns the cashout and
/or an encryption key in a best out of 3 or 5 would be highly entertaining as a player and viewer. Clearly, some changes are very much needed. 120FPS for new gen consoles. RPG and charge N slam nerfs. Light needs nerfs/buffs to weapons, gadgets, and possibly specializations. Medium, where to begin. It's an odd class for weapons. Dual blades are fun, but without good team play, they can be utterly difficult to catch a light (unless you get very rare fun moments they kill themselves getting bullets deflected back). Heck, even switching around some gadgets within classes as a LTM to test data on buffs, nerfs, and class gadgets being moved around would even be exciting. I'm not saying I'm right about everything or even implying any of my vague suggestions/ideas are worth looking into. But this season has truly ruined the game for many people including myself. I have fun, but tbh, I've been losing all my interest.

The "Get 15 eliminations or assists with Launchers or shotguns" contract for Challenger Circuit seems broken. I've had multiple kills with the 1887 and the pump as heavy, none have been recorded.

TY for removing the requirement for new players to complete 3 games of TA before being able to try the actual game modes the finals is known about.
Season 3 changes are mostly good. Health regen values, guardian turret change, glitch mine rework, and gadget changes are all good. Alongside some minor weapon tweaks and improvements to useability such as KS-23 pump rate.
Now the bad.
Remember when cloak light db spam that can 2-shot any class in S1? Well, now we have throwing knives (nobody still uses the alt-fire post nerf only spam), bow with no falloff, and db is back to being able to 2-shot any class.
Remember when light stun gun spam giving free kills? Well, now we have the winch claw for heavy that not only stuns, but also pulls and allows them to do a survivable point blank rpg.
What happened to the "long ttk" gameplay?
The CL40 was given a damage nerf and a fire rate buff, making it one of the second lowest dps to the lowest dps weapon. The only possible reason for this is due to it's burst being too good in TA but in TTK, it's one of the slowest and will lose most duels if not careful. It counters L, mid to M, and weak to H. This change made it unable to fight heavies at all. The pump rate and fire rate would also be considered as a nerf as due to it depleting the 4 rounds quicker and spending more time instead with the long reload.
In s2 ranked, despite it being a poor pick, I still brought it to plat. It's main gimmick is despite the low dps, you need to play safely/area denial/insane movement and learn its trajectory for mid-long shots. Before the change, the fire rate, reload, and ammo was low but it was rewarding to hit direct hits.
Overall. Didn't care about TA, but if core game and balance changes are catered to it instead of the core gameplay of the game it will mess up balances for other modes. Showing more that, already built gameplay and balance isn't fit for it. Most of the patch felt like tossing out the balance work made during s1 and s2.

Nerf snipers or just remove it ,it should have 30-40 dmg from distance and the closer you are the more rewarding the weapon gets. It takes no skill sniping from the other part of the map

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

db was unusable when it didnt 2-shot people. It relied on cloak and stun to be good which have now both been nerfed. I have not had any problems with db users since the patch

Yesterday was the first time I wanted to steal someone's look but with how fast intro sequences play out I found it was very difficult to get another good look at one of your opponent. Unless they end up winning the game that is. No one is standing still ever in this game so even when your entire team is wiped out and you get the free camera, finding an enemy player and getting a good look at them is no easy task.
I would really like if there was an option to either "inspect" people in the lobby and items their character is wearing or at least see the profile card somewhere on screen when you get killed by them, not just their name in the damage received stat list.
LH1 WAS PERFECTLY BALANCED IN SEASON 2 (HERES WHY)
Embark I REALLY want you guys to listen to this. As a light main and someone who was a passionate LH1 Player, I really want you guys to think about the 2 key points i want to make. One of the reasons I am addressing these points specifically is because of the LH1 dev note left, in the patch notes for 3.0.0. (Dev Note: Overall the effective damage of the LH1 should remain roughly the same, but it should now be easier to use, less nauseating, and more precise when standing still, as well as incentivizing headshots. The lower RPM should help make it feel distinct and make it easier to maintain targets in sights)

B ā¢Some weapons need to be less accessible .ie harder to use.
The primary reason im emphasizing this is because the numbers on the LH1 right now are still incredibly overpowered when its as easy as it is to use. So Ill make a few comparisons to help give some insight. With the R.357 it has whopping 74 body shot damage and 148 head damage. The R.357 also has no recoil, so if you were to hold completely still and shoot all the bullets shot would be in the same spot. Now imagine you reduced the visual recoil. It would be a nightmare to deal with, even if recoil was added, not because the numbers are to high, but because its too easy to use.
Another example I can give is the V9S and it might be a better comparison than the R.357. The V9S is not a highly used gun, the reason I hear from most people is because "The visual recoil makes it to hard to use". Now at first that may sound like a bad thing ,but its because if it were any other way the gun would be overpowered. The V9S does 37 damage body shot and 55.5 to the head. The gun is incredibly strong but the visual recoil helps keep it balanced. Imagine if you gave it the LH1 treatment and reduced the visual recoil it would be a laser beam as it already has the 2nd lowest TTK out of any light weapon.
Used db many times in s2, without cloak and stun, it was usable. Rn, three stacking light with db in wt is so fast to wipe teams no matter the comp cause its either a trade, left on low health to be killed by another, or kill one then die to another. Can even 1 shot 2 people with the 2 barrels, if they are hurt by just a minimal amount.

Now that the out of memory issue is resolved, i still cant play the game because of non stop stutters, mouse freezes and audio disconection, something in the game makes your usb port malfunction during gameplay, its time to just give up on this game, they cant seem to know what they're doing on a technical standpoint. Ive been playing this game for years on multiple systems and i dont remember a single point in time where i didnt get bugs or technical issues that made the game unplayable, this mouse stutter issue is something thats existed since the closed beta and they still havent been able to eradicate it, ive seen people online claim its a bug that makes any USB 2.0 port malfunction, since i only have one (3.0) i guess im simply locked out of enjoying the game? It just makes no sense to me, theres no point in me wasting precious time to make this game work when i got other games in my rotation that function and dont force me to troubleshoot everytime i launch it, specially for issues people have been pointing out since the game's inception. Im sorry but im done, as much as i like the gameplay of this game, the technical issues ive faced ever since i started playing are no longer worth the short term happiness of being able to play the game flawlessly for just a couple days
I hear that everyone is not happy- wishful thinking or with deals with bugs and we want the game to do good - please be supportive to the DEVs and Embark.
JUST saying, the game is free and Nexon seems to be squeezing Embark for profitability. Show support for this, it's come a long way in 3 season... Compare it to most games and be glad for what we have for free.

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

- Recon senses > rework to be a single ping like recon nades but originating from the player. 3 charges with a pretty long recovery time.

- Defib > Remove invincibility time after getting ressed
- FCAR > revert to S1 for recoil/dmg but lower fire rate slightly

a great way to help with the third partying problem would be to remove all "natural" zips on maps that arent for high ground. it would require team to use more util to rotate and think about how to rotate more @lofty tartan thats not true at all, light has tp so it doesnt force anything besides more teamplay. long horizontal "natural" zips are the only thing im talking about. not zip to top of a tower. thinking it would make medium a one trick class when its basically just defib at this point is hilarious

Maybe """rework""" the animation system? Animations often don't align with what the player actually does. Eg. shooting while vaulting. People looking in another direction while shooting at you. People shooting while in a reload animation. (I have approximately 22ms ping as a reference).
I mean, balance is good and all, but please just fix the actual Issues (bugs) the game has. There are just way too many bugs.....

defib being used by absolutely everyone is pretty much all you need to know to see that there is a problem
not even mentioning how it feels to face it, you rarely have time to react to it, even if you can, you still need to face a 2v1
if medium turns out to be underpowered without it then we can buff something else, but defib should not be this strong

They need to make a "squad" system next season.
For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:
-Vaiiya
-Volpe
-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)
This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.
Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.
This creates urgency AND rarity since -for example- the season 4 OSPUZE set will never show up again. (Same for Engimo, Vaiiya, etc.)
Remember, ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ONE SEASON
Top companies (companies with the most "fame" or money cashed out) are showed on the World Tour leaderboard.
There they should be able to display or link their Twitch and other socials.

Stage 3 contract for challenger circuit seems to be broken, the one that says :"Get 15 eliminations or assists with Launchers or Shotguns", no matter what I do it doesn't count, I used shotguns and launchers on all classes but it doesn't count.

Why are these challenges not tracking progress upon completionš
Day 103 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, youāre probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

Problem: Players get disconnected from ranked matches, especially during "rebuilding arena" phase causing loss of RS at no fault to the player.
Solution: Obvious solution is to fix your faulty servers. A temporary solution would be to remove the timer that currently exists after a player disconnects to where that player needs to rejoin. The player should have the remainder of the match to rejoin the game, preventing the player from starting any new matches until that game ends. If the player doesn't rejoin by the end of the game then he/she receives a suspension. The time it takes for the player to close the game and log back in he is already kicked from the match, suspended from ranked play, and lost 1000+ RS. I don't see how this is valuable at all, especially to the other players who are in the match and are now short a player due to crappy servers.
For whatever reason, the servers have been extremely bad this past weekend. I have rarely had this issue until this weekend, where I have lost 10,000+ RS and currently am sitting at a 2 hour ranked suspension due to utterly abysmal servers, and from talking to other players I know they have been suffering through this too.
has anyone had the glitch where you infinitely load into a match even after it starts? I can hear everything going on and my teammates can see me but iām still āloading.ā This is just about my only problem for the game rn š¦
It's been a big issue for the entirety of S3, there are a couple threads about it in #1201841543926005810 and the CMs have replied in them, so they are aware of the issue and working on a fix
This season is the worst in terms of both game & server optimization.
-Kyoto suffers from terrible optimization issues. Framerates take a huge hit during combat, destruction, or just in general

I won 6 out of the 8 placements but still got placed silver 4. Currently im stuck at fucking 20k-25k range. Just played my last game of the day and in the enemy team was two people who were fucking 20k points above me??? Fix the fucking matchmaking. Teammates suck ALWAYS.. rarely i get a good teammate.
Make skilled based matchmaking better, every time i soloQ, my teamates are usually not the best in terms of skill, this compared to a 3 stack, HHM meta in a regular cashout match just makes the game boring to play without friends which play the game.

UE 5.4 brings more optimizations which make the performance better and that should improve the general game experience for people in combination with the updated better upscalers. Also, add DirectStorage api to improve loading, there are times where all players are stuck to a loading screen for the match due to singular users with slower machines, and DiSto can eliminate/lower that.

Pretty decent on balancing currently, but heavy is in a extremely unhealthy place with how RPG kinda eats up all their damage budget, should probably be changed and buff their guns, the claw is somewhat toxic to the game, you can't really fend for yourself when you get hooked, need to add some additional counterplay maybe,
Medium still needs to have the defib removed, you can't have the best long range wep + instant high ground and a res, theres simply no counterplay, melee medium needs alot of love, its really really bad, probably the worst thing in the game.
Light needs TK nerfs to 58 or 55 damage ever since it got so easy to use or lower fire rate, and stun gun should be removed from the game.

There is a big issue with the finals servers, 90% of the time someone leaves a match its because embarks servers disconnect them.
The same issue happens to me where at the end of a tournament round or in the middle of it, the game will disconnect me for no apparent reason and I will have to reconnect to join the match which wastes like 1-2 minutes of time which is detrimental to ranked (world tour) and **NO OTHER GAME **does this to me as I have a pretty solid internet connection near my computer that is reliable.
And I know for a fact its not intentional because nearly all teammates that do leave eventually rejoin shortly after. It honestly does ruin the experience a bit for me and I don't hear a lot of people talk about it.
Why isnt the damage of the RPG the same? Everytime I shoot someone, the damage on me is way higher than the guy. It doesnt make any sense...
im afraid that the finals is solidifing a place amongst one of the least popular shooters out there because it hasnt kept the attention early on. While i believe its the funest game i dont think people understood it well enough and the lack of advertisement hurt the initial perception of the game.

Not sure if anyone will read this - I have crashed on TA ranked 2 days in a row without being able to re-join I have a 4080 & i514900k play on 120fps on mostly low settings.
Can anyone please at least take the ban time off and reinstate my lost 3000rs which takes too much time to regain. Wining you gain anywhere from 500-1000 losing you mostly loose 1000 unless you placed against higher elo.

People who paid while playing at a certain time and spent time to unlock those rewards, I think you should be able to unlock it later on but it should be somewhat of a grind for them too so nothing happens where some players spent time and money for something that came back easier to get, making the grind feel empty

How would the grind feel empty? The people who paid and grinded to complete the Season 1 and 2 passes got their rewards. Just cuz they made changes to the XP system since then doesn't take away from the cosmetics and stuff they earned. I really wouldn't understand it if someone is genuinely mad that the older passes would be easier to complete because of the current XP system. "Because I had to grind, you should too" isn't a healthy mindset is a really weird and unnecessary way of gatekeeping. And like I said, this change would benefit the people who suffered most from the terrible grind that was required for S1 BP. Those are the people who didn't complete the battle pass therefore they didn't get full value out of what they paid for. If they brought back the old battle passes then they could finally get the rewards they paid full price for.

What gives the skins their value is their exclusivity, being able to buy everything would make the stuff that is unlockable worthless. I wonder if a skin market could work though, have a limited amount of skins but allow players to sell them to other players, giving a monetary reward to the players that spent their time and got to diamond and shit, letting anyone willing to pay a chance to get any skin without removing their exclusivity, get some extra source of income for embark and all that without having to fall for the trap of lootboxes or any of that bs

@bright nexus Imagine a system where you can purchase any season battle pass and select which one your match and contract XP goes towards whenever you want. You're not just outright buying the skins from the battle pass in the store individually, you're buying the battle pass so that you can grind and complete them at your own pace without having to worry about the season ending and removing your ability to earn those rewards. And also I'm fairly certain you currently can just straight up buy levels in the battle pass anyway if you're willing to shell out extra multibucks on top of what you already paid for. Should they remove this feature because it bypasses the grind and therefore is unfair to the people who actually put time into the battle pass? Why should anyone care what people choose to do with their money? Even under the current XP rate, it's not like it wouldn't be challenging to grind the battle pass, especially since the XP requirement already scales with the level of the reward. People wouldn't complain about the XP requirements as much as they do if they just weren't pressured into completing the BP within the season before they're just locked out forever from having those rewards.

Make the gameplay feel better in general. There are a ton of little things that are off-putting about The Finals.
Weapon sights misalign while shooting. Respawn timers occasionally exceed 45 seconds. Headshot multipliers are miniscule for all weapons, with many not even having the ability to headshot. Rampant match abandonment. SBMM annoyances in casual modes. Damage falloff is absurd, leading to huge, fearsome weapons like the M60 being about as effective as a bb gun at 30m. Cashout mode wins and losses just feel like luck most of the time. I could go on, there a lot of things that leave a sour taste in my, as well as the friends I've played with's, mouths.
My friends have all quit, and I'm the only one that still signs in at the end of the season to quickly grind out the whole battlepass in a week when they crank up the xp modifier.

The game crashes for many people. It has happened to me that it hangs on the loading screen of the match and I can hear everything, voices, commentators, and the game, but the loading screen doesn't show up and it ends up telling me that I'm going to be kicked out for inactivity. This has happened to me many times already.

in past, ive got problem with DXGI on game apex legends, i try a lot of stuff, update drivers and other things, nothing worked, so i found one thing that helped me.
i was playing on laptop but it connected to TV by HDRI, and TV got only 60hz max, so when my fps gonna be to high i got that problem and game crash, at start i used nvidia settings to lock fps on 60, but its got some problems with mouse aiming it was like i got anchor on it, after i putted command in steam to lock fps and its worked. try to lock ur fps in game in options or in invidia settings.
ps: i dont have that problem in finals, and never got crashes or something like this, it was only in apex, but maybe it can help here idk.

I still think the throwing knives need work, they just seem op when playing against people who have gotten good with them, idk if you can just lower the dmg a little.. maybe just the headshot damage.. or lower the fire rate or something I Personal feel that every other weapon is for the most part fair, and balanced, I like most recent updates to most of the weapons, but after no lifing this seasons battle pass, the biggest aggravation I run into is someone who runs 25 - 28 kills.. and in 1 instance 34 kills in a match where we didn't even finish the match in the traditional sense. I dont play throwing knives but maybe someone who does could provide a solution that doesn't need too hard while still not being ridiculous
Literally everyone except the trash clowns that use throwing knives say throwing knives need to be nerfed.
Until they start testing these weapons with good players to determine balance (and fix the bizarre ping comp), this will never be a competitive game.
The only events theyll have is some desperate money giveaway (from our micro transactions) to streamers in hopes that their audience will come play the finals more instead of actually improving the game.
Nerfing the knives is literally a 5 minute adjustment a dev can complete with the vast majority begging for it for the past several weeks, they just dont want to.

I have an idea for a ālittleā level rework. Iāve noticed that the current level system is more like a secondary non-seasonally-affected battle pass, which is neat because you get free stuff just by playing the game. But not so neat: itās capped at 60 and only gets 10 new levels each season because you guys obviously canāt just mass produce thousands of cosmetics and give them all away for free. But thatās what got me thinking: how about introducing a separate āmainā level that goes up to like 999 for example, dealing as a motivation for people to keep grinding the game, to keep doing the challenges even after having finished the battle pass and as an indicator to other players of how much youāve played the game already, how experienced you are. Because currently, with the level being capped at 60, a person at said level could have about 100 hours of play time or even ten times as much. But you wouldnāt be able to tell.
The only problem with this: Would we all start from level 0? Or would it be possible to use the tracked in game time to more or less accurately calculate what our current level would be if that leveling system had existed since launch?
Oh and also, the utils such as the turret, healing beam etc. are all missing the new levels and skins added to the progression system. While guns and gadgets have 8 levels now (I think), the utils are still stuck with only 5. They donāt even have the white skin but the purple one for some reason. Are we going to get those missing levels and skins?

I'm 100% sure I wasn't cheating or exploiting or anything like that... never did it in the first place. But I triggered somehow the anti-cheat system. And now they tell me if it happens again it's gonna be permanent. It was a "SERIOUS VIOLATION'!! on top of that. Won't lift the ban either.
So now what ? Will it happen again and I'm screwed for no reason ? I've played exactly the same way for nearly 500 hours. And I've a ton of cosmetics. That I paid for, mostly. I'm even scared to even launch the game, you know, in a week.

Work on optimization. Half the time TA is straight up unplayable because the game crashes upon getting into lobby or when reloading the map. Even if I do reconnect it's a 50/50 if the game won't crash instantly again. It's 1 map, how does this mode make me crash consistently when other modes don't. And then I get a suspension so now I can't even queue for WT, even though there was no wrongdoing on my part.

My teammates and I are consistently getting destroyed in terminal attack by unranked players, and our RS is then getting knocked down literally 1000+ per game. When we do get matched with other silver players the matches tend to be fair, and the RS difference for winning or losing is only a couple of hundred +/-. I feel like whatever math you're using to calculate the RS difference (and therefore reward/penalty for winning/losing) doesn't take into account the fact that unranked teams will have a much lower RS and therefore losing to them (even if they're much better players) means you're getting a huge penalty.
I spend a whole day grinding out wins in terminal attack against seeded opponents only to literally lose 1,300 rs to a team of unranked players who go 13-0 without breaking a sweat. I know you need to have placement matches but you shouldn't be punishing teams for losing to un-placed players.

Update on Game Crashes and Queue Penalties

As per my communication with Embark yesterday regarding crashes when joining a game, I have been facing queue penalties as a result. I took the initiative to research the issue further and believe I have narrowed down the cause.
It appears that when the latest games are optimized with the NVIDIA DLSS 2 option and the drivers are updated to support DLSS 3 for The Finals, every map tends to crash approximately 50% of the time during the initial load. I am unsure whether this issue is related to the driver caching or some internal caching within The Finals.
For users still utilizing the DLSS 2.0 driver optimization from NVIDIA for The Finals, I recommend reinstalling The Finals after installing the latest NVIDIA drivers. This should help prevent crashes and avoid rejoining/kicking from the match queue penalties.
Can we get like, active player counts shown per mode in menu? or even just active player count per server region? would help deciding if its even feasible to bother queuing certain modes

Out of 5 matches that I played this morning, 4 of them had cheaters. even people that they banned this morning have new accounts up and running in ranked already? Probably wont get banned until at least tomorrow. Embark needs to upgrade their anti cheat or respond significantly faster to reports. hire a full time staff to review matches and ban cheaters in real time. There is actually no point to playing during non-peak hours.

or maybe charge through enemies instead of shoving them, so you have to come back around

This tbh. A lot of the gadgets and specials in the game have ānatural counterplayā ie, counterplay that is available to everyone regardless of their loadout. For some reason, almost nothing on heavy has this. Charge is instant, winch is instant, rpg is instant, dome shield isnāt instant but itās only counterplay is either glitch (hard counterplay) or just waiting it out, which is not usually a valid option. Most of heavyās stuff needs to be tweaked to allow it to be played around without trying to hard counter with loadouts

Would also have to block unranked players from playing ranked in a party with placed players. This is more of the issue but it would fix the boosting problem too
Personal experience of the Kyoto map for Powershift game: we were moving the platform along until the enemy kept showering us with grenades and throwing knives at one point of the map in front of a large house. We then kept dying off and getting back to that same spot, to eliminate enough of the enemy players to make the platform neutral but we could only ever have a few seconds of ownership of the platform since we kept being showered with projectiles by invisible Lights at the top of the building (2nd floor). We invested a lot of energy running back to that spot and climbing up to the sniper-ish Lights. Guess who won? The enemy team. So our choice for defensive action on that map was very limited. I don't know any map where 3+ players in the enemy team can just sit there and aim at you non-stop with such a good line of sight on the platform, to the point of rendering the platform near impossible to move forward. One or more of their Lights just kept hiding far back into the house to heal up, with enough time to keep eliminating us as we were trying to get back on the platform. Other maps are far more balanced, you can clearly see who is left on this area of the building and aim for a team wipe or have room to be more offensive overall.

I assume it will eventually close on its own, but it takes so long I have to force quit every time.
Iāve noticed since season 3, every time I finish a game and we hit escape to return to the main menu, it severely lags and my pc gets super hot and the fans have to kick on super high mode cause the game is literally not running smoothly like in season 2. ALSO those moments will cause my discord to crash and kick me out of my vc

Yesterday was try to play TA (im Gold 2 whit 27k, btw i was After left the game) when round start on kyoto, in literally 5 second a full team of 5 light (in defence) push us on spawn and laser beam us. The match was 5 plat vs my team, 2 Gold and 3 unranked. After 4th round we are playing 2 vs 5.

it would be nice with the addition of new modes to get more contestants so we dont have to constantly switch loadouts depending on the mode. It honestly turns me off from playing anything besides one mode since its a hassle to remember to switch everything back. It would also be nice for the bow to have like a draw time limit so it becomes less accurate the longer you hold it so you cant just run around with it fully drawn.

You literally can't, if the person using charge is good you can't dodge it really. And once you get touched once you just get stunlocked to death. Even if its a player that is bad at controlling it, if he is close enough you just cant dodge.

A lot of unranked players are cheaters, they ruin ranked for everyone else and once they get banned they make a new account, Better Anti Cheat or IP Ban is the only solution
report the offensive ones for being offensive and explain what's offensive about them (might be offensive in your language but not the dev teams')
certainly matchmaking is not the best, in fact, I think thats the worst part, but half of the time I end up defending by myself against five light attackers cause half of team goes away when match gets complicated: I think that with a simple adjustment in matchmaking, and adding sanctions to players who quit half away, Terminal Attack will improve a lot

While there is definitely not real SBMM in ranked, ranks also don't reflect skill. Unranks are neither good, nor bad to the game. They don't necessarily know where to put them, so they wind up in all games to figure that out. You could be seeing a bronze player because his actual skill level is much higher than his rank, on par with gold, but hasn't had enough of a sample pool. Its also wild how quickly this game slaps you down right now. The odds of a gamebreaking bug - you d/c, a teammate d/c, not be able to use abilities, lagging, cheaters - are such that there's an RNG element to ranking up and you can lose 5k+ RS quickly, and have it feel like it was 100% out of your control.

add some sort of new healing item. one idea i had is an item for light, kind of like vanishing bomb, in the sense that you just throw it onto yourself and get regenerated like 20 hp. and if you are already full, i think it should provide extra health temporarily, but only for the person using it. you can you it on your teammates as well, but they just cannot get the shield affect, only the person who has it in their inventory can.

I wish there are more unique animations and sounds for legendary weapon skins.
We have two V9S skins that change silencer design, yet having same sound with original weapon. Katana and bat skin for sword could be more attractive when it had unique alt-fire motion, like slamming(for bat) or sheathing(for katana).
Even though the game pursues productivity more than detail(AI voice, same modeling for all characters etc) I hope there are more attractive features to buy weapon skins more than just visual quality.
Random selecting skin and animation for weapons would be good, add more character slots for more outfits. And fix fizzy tiger, its silencer blinds iron sight when firing repeatedly.

Heavy is oppressive because his only weakness is his movement speed, yet 3/4 specializations mitigate his downside, not to mention the various ziplines and jump pads found in the arenas, as well as the medium build mitigate this as well.
Winch Claw has prevented movement speed to escape a close-range heavy builds, making them extremely oppressive, on top of winch claw stunning you, preventing you from shooting. In my opinion it needs the recon senses treatment, and has to go.
Charge&Slam is similarly oppressive, being able to instantly deal 130 damage with one button press and running into people is an extremely powerful and low-skill mechanic, not to mention during this time you inflict knockback that hinders their ability to dodge, as well as charging into them again for extra damage, and while charging, you are even faster than a light. And you get all of this with the same cooldown as a fucking grappling hook.
RPG another oppressive tool that is a staple in every heavy loadout for a good reason, it's another powerful low-skill mechanic that heavy can utilize, and combo with charge and slam to kill anyone in his way.
Heavy has been a powerhouse build that has dominated since the start of this game, I hope Embark addresses heavy balance in the future, and encourages heavies to work harder and input more skill to output significant damage.

Day 104 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, youāre probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.
- Electrify the baton and allow it to glitch enemies for a very short period, it would provide a lot of team utility and prevent dash lights and charge and slam heavies from effortlessly hard countering shielders
FIX THE RIOT SHIELD BUGS:
- When picking up throwables in the arena, the first person shield model gets messed up and blocks your entire screen.
- Remove the fov zoom in and turning speed reduction when you raise the shield to block, it makes it overly clunky to use and feels terrible in a fast pace environment.
- Pyro grenades "stick" to the shield and burn the player forever, making it also impossible to see
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many strategies for the other builds! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, especially to better support my team against fire, detection sources, or to help revive teammates, and steal cashouts in an open area.
FIX THE GLITCH TRAP:
- Glitched heavy can still use the winch claw and it doesn't stop chargeNslam

Please bring back old goo I miss being able to launch me self using goo pads and adds skill gap between good movement with heavy. This will also add more uses for some of the less powerful gadgets and specializations. This making your game a more fun and allows community to find more movement that can further outsmart their competitors, which allows your games to grow further. In case of one movement tech that gets out of hand in stead of nerfing it you could add a gadget that counters the movement or allow others to use the movement, but in some cases it would be batter if it was nerfed like gliding or other unskillful movement tech people found. But this is not the case for the goo pad as it is very had to master takes 4 steps to use it and you have to use the goo gun. I would like you guys bring the old goo back as it could fuel the growth of your game and bring back a small bit of your community. yea w the goo gun heavies can actually place goo on the blue walls at the beginning of TA. They can make a climbable platform for their team. They likely climbed up and spotted you before the setup time finished and just smiled you from up there. Iāve seen some maps where you can still see the attackers as a defender and vise versa (i think sky stadium) without any goo wall tricks tho

in its current state, a team can get a 10k, 15k, and lose to a team that got a 22k because they wiped once, while the team with the 22k could wipe 15 times in the match with no punishment.
Increase Vault Tap money to 1.5k, and deposit money to 3k
1/3 or 1/2 (5k with each box) should be paid out at HALF a cashouts duration, while the rest should be paid out at the end, still rewarding last second steal without punishing teams after they held the cashout for 2 minutes.

Every medium gun feels like a paintball gun. Just really fucking weak feeling to shoot and land shots with. I can confidently say that lights aren't overpowered, but medium and heavy in many cases are just underpowered and unfun to play right now.
Problem with the unranked accounts is that they're usually created for boosting other accounts, it's kind of a meat shield right now where the hacking account gets banned but the teammates they que up with goes undetected most of the time

Itās unreal how bloated with power everything is in this game. Weapons whose bodyshots behave like crits. TTKs on 350HP tanks that resemble CoD. Easy to use gadgets that do 93% of a classās health.

Day 1 of asking for throwing knife nerf
The ttks in this game are overall pretty low. And famas is generally considered to be the worst of the 3 medium ars.
Oh damn we got a comedian here. The problem is that the red barrels bounce off the pillars 50% of the time if your angle isn't absolutely perfect (destroying if from under there is basically impossible) and at that point you're stuck looking around the map for half the cashout to hopefully find a barrel. Don't forget there's a cashout timer running as well and at least in my SBMM bracket people are lazering you down with headshots as soon as you peek for half a millisecond. Not to mention the ability to keep the pillars from being destroyed if someone is running demat and the fact that the jump pad gadget can't make the platforms in the forest area.
I'd at the very least suggest to add some embedded jump pads into the map around the suspended structures (like they did with up down left right on Skyway Stadium). That way you're not only able to take down the platform but you have a couple of options to get up there as well. I usually play as a movement medium on Monaco just because of the final round, but at that point if I'm the only one running these gadgets there's still only one angle your team can approach at, which makes it a glorified round of whack-a-mole. Either you risk it all and directly jump onto the platform with the cashout or you jump onto another platform, at which point your movement gadgets need recharging so you're stuck there for the rest of the cashout.
The entire concept of suspended structures just doesn't fit with the final round imo. You have one chance to capture it from one angle and if you don't happen to succeed you're screwed as you have to wait for half the cashout just to spawn 200m away. In order to get back there in time you need to use the movement gadgets and guess what you need to get up to the cashout as well?
Oh and most people I solo queue with also despise suspended structures btw so I'm definitely not the only one. It needs a rework at the very least because if you're up against a 3 stack you're basically screwed.
Lets try to fix the loading bug shall we? Almost botched my world tour finals š I don't want to restart my game 6 times.

Iām not judging it relative to other weapons, Iām judging it on individual merit.
The initial comment claimed Mediumās weapons were underpowered, the second comment specified the Famas. This means they desire buffs to said weapons.
But the Famas is fantastic by itself. Itās a burst rifle with a high ROF and minimal recoil. Thereās nothing else you can want. It absolutely doesnāt need a buff. Many other weapons and gadgets need to be toned down.
Even the 93R, one of the worst weapons relatively, is still fine by itself. Hit your crits and it has a good TTK. Its problem relative to other weapons is that it has actual weaknesses whilst they do not.
As a light, FAMAS shreds me like nothing else
There are definitely weaker and stronger options in this game, but you're putting a baseline at weapons like the 93r is the issue. The baseline should be higher, hence it should get a buff, not nerf everything stronger than it. Famas is a decent weapon and a buff would do it well without breaking any balance issues. There are only a few outliers that do derserve nerfs, but the weapon balancing is generally pretty good overall. You can't just base a weapon without looking at the other options provided.

@rugged temple Almost everything is stronger than the 93R and very many weapons (and gadgets) need strong nerfs to achieve the baseline I believe to be desirable.
Guns such as LH1/XP are as excessively strong with zero weakness as the likes of FCAR/Lewis were at release. Weapons with no weakness are very bad for a game as they dull skill expression; in The Finals they invalidate weapons like the 1887 - which, again, is actually great by itself - solely because the 1887 is actually demanding to use and has weaknesses.
The Famas has zero weaknesses, hence it absolutely not needing a buff. It has a high ROF, minimal recoil, good range, great hipfire, good mag size, good reload. It only loses out relative to other weapons because of its inherent burst nature in a game in which easy-to-use automatic weapons have no downsides.
The 93R could probably do with some small QOL buffs but itās closer to the baseline than most meta weapons. It allows for expression of skill: hit consistent crits and it will melt any class. This is ideal. But unlike the likes of the XP/M11, its bodyshots are a noticeable drop off. This is natural. It being a burst weapon also means it is punishing on misses, again allowing for skill expression, unlike the ever-reliable automatic weapons which are never punished. It also has range limitations unlike many weapons.
As far as Iām concerned the majorly excessive power level of meta weapons/gadgets/etc is the worst thing about this game and undermines its playstyle.

XP is a fine weapon. LH1 is overtuned. 93R deserves large buffs. The baseline you find desirable is in my opinion too low. Your example of the model being an invalidated weapon is wrong however, since it is a very strong pick. Obviously, there are some outliers as far as balancing goes but they're pretty rare, such as rpg.
Heavy:
- RPG > damage reduced DMG from 140 to 80
- Winch hook > remove from game, or rework it completely
- Mesh shield > Reduced HP from 1000 to 750
- M60 > increase damage drop off range by 10 meters
- Lewis gun > clean up the recoil pattern to be less aggressive horizontaly
- Charge and slam > reduce damage by half so you cant instantly kill M's, reduce cooldown
Medium:
- Recon senses > rework to be a single ping like recon nades but originating from the player. 3 charges with a pretty long recovery time.
- Turret > Add a attack delay of 0.3s so it doesnt instantly shoot
- Defib > Remove invincibility time after getting ressed
- FCAR > revert to S1 for recoil/dmg but lower fire rate slightly
- FAMAS > Increase damage drop off range
Light:
-
Dash > Add a short cooldown, close to around 1 second

Throwing daggers > Make the projectiles lose velocity and damage over distance, boost initial velocity

Hey it looks like there was a gap added to the hazard duty upper body to maybe allow for a visible watch on the outfit but equipping one doesnt let it show up, its honestly kinda weird since some long sleeves do allow one to show up, its kinda goofy unlocking these watches but outfits that really should let them show up dont. They are kinda cool but pretty useless as an unlockable since you can almost never see them, some shoes seem to change pants meshes, so why cant some watches go on top of or roll up sleeves slightly?

Model is exceptionally rare at high level play and would never feature in an esport environment. It is simply nowhere near as good as the many faultless weapons that dominate the game because it actually has faults, as every weapon should. Unlike the XP, the SMG with easy 50m range whose bodyshots melt like crits. 93r isnāt a bad weapon in isolation, it is a bad weapon in a game filled with excessively strong, flawless weapons.
Faultless weapons contradict the intended nature of the game; that being a higher TTK with healing and shielding possible. As it is, it plays too much like any other TDM game. Which is why Lights now dominate every mode outside of high-ranked Cashout. The 93R is preferable to LH1/XP/M11/Knives etc etc etc.

Healing and shielding are blatantly intended since theyāre core specialisations for 2 of the classes. The extreme base health regen delay also clearly factors in the existence of this healing.
The meta of excessive healing/shields is what was unintended. That doesnāt exist anywhere outside of high level Cashout. The rest of the game plays far too much like TDM now because of the insane power level of weapons, which was certainly never the intention.

This is what I've been saying man. This game's monetisation would literally be perfect if they didn't FOMO the battle pass. I get it if it wasn't a priority feature but it has to change eventually. Embark has so far been doing everything right when it comes to cosmetics and monetisation. The fact thaat you get back enough multibucks in the battle pass to buy the next one at no extra cost is a really good pro-consumer move. balancing the game is hard because of how many metas there are for each gamemode. for example AP-turret is good in TA because of the limited gadgets, but is shit in PS because of infinite grenade spam. snipers are powerful in casual lobbies but aren't good in very competitive one.

Smoke grenades should be on medium. They are most useful in denying enemies at long range (lights) a sightline on you or your team. Mediums also tend to stick around their team significantly more than lights which would increase the odds of them being used too.
Not to mention this change won't even nerf lights since they have all the good detection tools.

- You can't switch to anything that's not in your reserve if it's a final round and 2. As I said in my followup message I usually run a movement medium on Monaco anyway because of SS. The entire modifier is just not fun and definitely not suited for a final round with the clear advantage one team has if they happen to spawn closer to the vault.

Encourage us to play and make friends. I'm talking about make The Finals about team play (Way too much solo culture in ranked)
They need to make a "squad" system next season.
For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:
-Vaiiya
-Volpe
-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)
This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.
Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.

Same thing happened to me and my teammate, we were 2 mediums and the other team had 2 heavies and 1 med. We kept dying 1 hit from 2 rpgs. We just kept getting crushed everytime we respawn and there was nothing we could do so we just emoted until the round ended

A deployable gadget that gives armor up to a maximum of 100 armor. Does not heal damaged players but provides 25% damage reduction until armor is depleted. Is a tethered ability (ex: glitch mine, motion detector) but has a 3 second startup before activating.

This game is miserable to play. It has everything going for it but actually playing it is not fun 99% of the time. The balance is pretty bad, the game modes get old very quickly. My only suggestion is I want it to play more like Overwatch. I can expand on that but for now I feel like the devs just need to hear that the game needs work and they need to cook more.

Quick list of 5 suggested changes:
-Spawns further than 250m should never happen especially when there is only one cashout, max 200m
-TA rounds reduced to first to 5 with side swap happening faster. Remove or at least reduce the prep phases to combat modes severe pacing issue.
-Contestant slot renaming and allow multiple favorites for skins to rotate randomly
-Reload/recharge mechanic for throwing knives. i.e. after 6 knives, 3.5 second recharge
-Retool zipline behavior to be snappier to attach and release. Current floatiness feels awkward at times.
BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here are a few ways that can improve the shield, as it underperforms against any other ranged and melee weapon. I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- The shield should block a larger area of the body to make it more consistent at blocking melee, bullets, and splash damage. Players with decent aim can easily hit the arms and legs which defeats the whole purpose of it.
- Blocking melee attacks should inflict a knockback to prevent melee weapons from clipping through and scoring a second hit with the active frames.
- Increase the melee range, even just +1m of range would make it feel so much better to catch enemies that were just outside your range before.

Inline skates specialization for Light that makes you sprint faster on smooth surfaces, lets you wall run on smooth surfaces, wall jump, and melee with it (similar damage to weak dagger, but boot to the head), but makes you sprint SLOWER (or nullify sprint entirely) on rough, soft, and destroyed surfaces. it would also increase jump height or give a double jump.
Maybe also a paint can gadget for blinding opponents in close range for 5-10 seconds or so. Ideal against melee users.

this just screams skill issue, Winch and Stun allows you to seperate/pick off somebody, if you cant kill a Triple Medium Team because of their sustain and you have a Heavy or Light then thats your problem.
Demat allows you to also seperate them or move trophies, also 5 SECONDS is a lot for a teamfight with glitch grenades, if you cant capitalize on that you need to work on your responsiveness.

- The ranked TA mode (bomb plant game style) is a type of mode that we see all over the place in games like siege or cod S&D. it is not the finals game that we fell in love with (a unique and fun game is what brought myself and others to you)
- cheating over time has gotten somewhat better but certainly needs to be worked on more and more
- should add more ways to earn in-game currency like in world tour so more players can get more cool outfits (youāll keep people around more that way)
- PLAY TEST it is so very clear that embark doesnāt have the proper play test team / feedback necessary to see the game thrive, change that (a lot of feedback here is bias and unhelpful, embark needs a dedicated set of people on it)

I keep having this annoying issue where the game just stays on the connection screen after the match. It never did this before.
Nukes doing damage canāt ever return to the game. Their power, ease of use, and lack of opportunity cost means they will always be oppressive & unfun.
At the same time I do appreciate the novelty of a mechanic like that existing. Attaching a detonator to a throwable canister and then detonating it in someoneās face. The devs were clearly proud of it hence its prevalence in marketing and their reluctance to nerf.
So I think nukes can and should exist in the game, they just shouldnāt do damage.
Give them major knockback for example and theyād retain a comical & fun factor whilst also being useful. You could displace tightly grouped teams, knock someone on a bridge off the map, or just cause general chaos.
You could make them the most destructive item in the game, like firing 5 RPGs at a building at once.
Changes like this would make them fun, give them a valuable purpose, and totally stay away from the easy, cheap, unfun, and powerful tools they used to be.
there just arent enough players to properly implement SBMM. queue times are bad enough as it is so while yes, in a perfect world the game would queue players closer in rank than it does but to do that now anyone above D4 would be in queue for an hour. Focus right now needs to be attracting playerbase, advertising/marketing, twitch promos etc. SBMM can come later when the game has the playerbase to support it.

Please make the sound of teammates cloaking more distinguishable from the sound of enemies cloaking. As it is now, if a teammate is close, but outside your fov, their cloaking sound can easily be mistaken for that of an enemy cloaking.

Allow heavy players to throw their spears. But not unlimited like the throwing knives. Instead when u throw it once u have to wait for it to come back to ur hand kinda like Thors hammer. It's literally a SPEAR. And having to wait for it to come back even to engage in close range battle prevents it from being overpowered but viable longer distances. Maybe allow players to aim and throw it through by toggling on and off the aiming mode.

A drone specialization in place of the now defunct Recon Senses sounds cool. The Medium throws the drone off into the distance, and it flies straight ahead. It would act similar to the Sonar Grenade, briefly pinging enemies in its vicinity as it flies forward and also as it returns back to you; the two pings would last for about 2-3 seconds each.

As a former Terminal Attack hater, I have to say, Iām enjoying the mode quite a bit.
Still canāt say Iād prefer it as the ranked mode over cash out, but Iād like to see a ranked mosh pit featuring both, perhaps at a ratio of 4:1 cashout to TA, might keep things fresh and offer some variety
With both modes being played, I second the notion for more class spots so I can have different presets for each.
Today is the day we drop and stay out of the top 100 on Steam, and that is almost certainly the death knell of this game. Really, really sad honestly. Hopefully Embark learns from this experience - weekly patches are lip service. Its patches for the sake of patches because somewhere Embark learned that weekly updates = positive engagement regardless of the direction of the game. And then they just kept chasing their tail into a full tailspin.
I really believe that the weekly updates is what killed this game. Literally from launch, to now, almost no gadget, weapon or specialization was safe for more than 2-4 weeks, and that is batshit insane when it comes to retaining the players that use them. Its not the nerfs or buffs, its the constant revolving door of changing stats that made picking/learning/staying with a weapon/gadget really fucking annoying.
Macro decision making needs to be improved at embark

Less than a zero percent chance this game is profitable as of right now. Which is why the odds of a S4 is less than 50% imo. The suits over at Nexon aren't going to commit the sunk cost fallacy and let it keep going. And it almost doesn't matter if it IS a little profitable, because in business, its not about profits, its about profits vs expectations and if it missed as much as Nexon implied in their earnings call, that's the same as a loss. They'd prefer to shift resources to something that will meet or exceed expectations if they know earnings for TF has already peaked. Yeah, I'd be very worried about the future of this game from a business standpoint.

There really needs to be more to buy with the in game currency because once you unlock every weapon and gadget it's useless. I'd really like to see some basic skins that you could buy for weapons or you could convert 3000 of the currency into like 50 of the premium currency

So much briandead in this game, between 10 and 14 kills but not even one cash out taken. They put the vault in cashout and then they push trying to kill other players , i stay always alone on the cash out and get killed 1 vs 3 players. Thats why add tdm so that such braindead dont piss off other players with ther braindead gameplay. Add tdm test beta to look how much players will play it .

No one said the reload had to be long or give them a lot of ammunition like at least 25 cards per pair of knives my issue is I have to reload while fighting three people or two teams and they just get to strife willy-nilly and never reload. I think thatās unfair.
They hit one headshot and it kills a light. Iām using it XP 54 and at least 1/3 or half of my clip has to go to their head to kill him. Multiple shots I have to reload and they donāt.

Encourage us to play and make friends. I'm talking about make The Finals about team play (Way too much solo culture in ranked)
They need to make a "squad" system next season.
For obvious reasons I believe this idea will lead to a exponential engagement effect, let me explain:
"Squads" or "Companies" should be able to select or vote for sponsors:
-Vaiiya
-Volpe
-Engimo
-Ospuze
Etc.
During the season we should be able to grind for "fame" so we can get company drip (cosmetics) for completing these "company contracts".
(Gives me reason to hop back on the game, me and my friends are working towards a goal now. +++ Add Bonus Points for playing with company mates)
This may take the place of circuits but I think my ideas fits the theme of the game-show AND this gives people a reason to play with friends and implore their friends to hop on The Finals with them.
Create specialized cosmetics for these sponsors. Once your company selects one they are locked in for specialized one-time cosmetics.
This creates urgency AND rarity since -for example- the season 4 OSPUZE set will never show up again. (Same for Engimo, Vaiiya, etc.)
Remember, ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ONE SEASON
Top companies (companies with the most "fame" or money cashed out) are showed on the World Tour leaderboard.
There they should be able to display or link their Twitch and other socials.

IP bans are a very bad idea. You could technically get at some point a IP which got banned before. This depends on your ISP btw. Some do have only static IPs and some only dynamic ones.
Even if I still have full health ??? my point is I have full health but there is no reason that heās missing his shots. Iām missing my shots and I have to reload and he doesnāt. Why do I get penalized?
