This is something that should've been mentioned in a tutorial or something. It does seem like an accessibility feature. But recoil-reversing scripts are far more powerful than the smoothing suggested in the video. There is still some recoil even if you move the aim enough, or if you spam movement. Meanwhile, recoil-reversing scripts completely negate any recoil.
Something I neglected to mention about recoil-reversing scripts is the timing. Faster guns have less delay between each shot fired. Assuming a fixed amount of time delay (say 0.1 s for example) between each shot and using my earlier example, the 1st bullet moves your gun camera left by 3.5 deg and up by 5 deg, so the recoil-reversing script negates it by moving the camera left by -3.5 deg (right by 3.5 deg) and up by -5 deg (down by 5 deg). The 2nd shot will be fired 0.1 seconds later, and the recoil pattern says the camera will be moved this time 3.1 deg left and 4.2 deg up. The recoil reversing script, 0.1 seconds after cancelling the 1st bullet recoil, negates the recoil from the 2nd shot by applying camera movement -3.1 deg left (3.1 deg right) and -4.2 deg up (4.2 deg down). So on and so forth, every 0.1 seconds.
