Yes, it appears to be working correctly with "guns and gadgets" that are for "one time" use. Therefore if it has a cooldown after using it, it's going to switch to primary weapon. Unfortunately doesn't work with grenades and mines for example.

A few things with no offence to anyone:

Heavy - Make RPG do 140 Dmg so light can have a chance for a play
- C4 Canister/Barrel is becoming problematic and too strong since they already have an RPG in their Arsenal
- Make it so you can shoot through their shields and be there for defensive purposes? Shields are an important part of Heavies but makes the game a bit less fun for a lot of people
- Shotgun is way too powerful considering the Heavy is a tough dude with Highest Hp who mosts likely gets a lot of heals too for the Mediums

Medium - Not sure if I would change anything here yet since there are more glaring issues in the other 2 imo

Light - Invis is a key part of lights and its fine but invis with the shotty is becoming a real thing and its quite strong especially if the light player has good gamesense and can aim
- Snipers are not really viable in most cashout situations and they might need a way to make them a bit more viable like e.g Damage Boost?

General - Gas can be made to last a little less
- The main game mode is fun and has a lot of good moments but last minute third partying is annoying for the defenders who don’t get anything at the end but -30% less cash

Cheaters : I have not encountered any as of writing this but seems a lot of people have, maybe tweak the anti-cheat or at least have quicker response into banning all the highly reported cheaters out of the game.

Game Mode - A new more casual game mode could be needed more than a new map to keep things interesting imo

Ranked - feels more like a time investment and maybe not like an accomplishment, what I mean is that you don’t lose so many points when you lose so eventually you will climb. Yes sounds harsh for the more casual player base but I feel like it is meant to be harder to climb that’s why it is ranked. I could be wrong

Attachments - All we need is optics for the guns

The Game is Fire and I Love it, so I really want it to become a staple and be strong for a long time!
Us Gamers can be very impatient, yes all the major shooters out there have glaring issues ( don’t get me started on that ) but they are established Ips, so a new shooter needs positive changes as quickly as possible to survive this very competitive market!

I feel you have severely underestimated a gamers ability to nerd out on patch notes and I (and I'm sure many others) have been left a little (Very!) hungry.

Personally I'd like to see the movement revert slowly back to that of the Closed Beta. It felt alot more fluid and faster. I understand the friction because of the complaints it was a little skatey and people would just fly off the map, but it could do with a little less friction, since momentum just isn't there while sliding anymore.

It seems its better to land and just bunny hop, which takes the fun out of sliding completely and makes it less of a viable option.

I think manteling shouldnt cancel Reloading! Takes away alot of movement, since if you finish a mag, and need time reload, it is kind of and awkward feeling when you constantly try to reload but then u have to mantle.
But it is also a skill to plan on how much you have to shoot.
My solution would be that if you finish a mag and mantle while reloading, half way through the next mag it James for like 5 second. This would be cancelled by reloading again.
This would reward reloading early, teach new players an important skill, but also allow good movement during reloading.

Incorrect EAC Linux version IS NOT THE SAME as the windows one. meaing they have to pay for seperate additional builds of EAC which means paying for the same thing twice to care about 2% of the players... As a linux user i wish this would change but Epic insists they charge for it twice. Plus linux kernel updates are more frequesnt so the game cant be played until a couple days after kernel updates until EAC send out new builds Was misinformed my bad

I think that was the case some years ago. At this point enabling EAC access is just a few click for the devs and they don't ship different build, it's steam that has a runtime for EAC and it connect Linux native binaries to these in game via Proton. I might be wrong though, but that's what I think is the case now.

After some research i can confirm you are right.. However from what i can find the only thing to consider is that Its 10% as effective as an anticheat on windows and people bypass it very easily. the Kernel is open which is a huge issue for the reliability of these anticheats... But they have indeed abandoned the paid double model and do use Steam for the libraries (my previous info was misinformation from a couple years back)

when i encounter a good light player, i can't even follow him. he play with me like a puppet. Just so you know being light need some skills so eyah being a tank need less and healing less too. Look in League, ADC always complain about being weak and getting os by everybody but if in a fight they stay alive there is no match. In Overwatch it's the same and many more game. Being the dsamage output of ur teams need skills that's all and alot of them (expetialy the one complaining) are not good. Cause if u were u know how bullet in the canister kill the big guy holding it 😀

I really like the finals but what bothers me is that the beta was playable on the steamdeck and Linux since the launch its not possible anymore because EAC makes problems, i would really appreicate it if you could adapt EAC so the game is also playable on the steamdeck and linux in general, its rather annoying to switch back and forth from windows to linux and because it worked in the past. Also there are servable games that us EAC that are working on linux like "New World" or "Halo; The Master Chief Collection".

Lights should get faster regenration out of combat to improve the harass-playstyle. Maybe even improve their damage across the board a tiny amount and slightly tweak the invis so it doesnt overshadow the other two abilities

Nerf heavys shotgun damage or rate of fire (maybe even both), slower travel time for rpg so its not a insta-delete button

After getting resurrected by defib you should not have invulnerability, maybe even limit defib uses per life to 1 or 2 at most, since its by far the strongest ability in the game, especially if you run more than one medium (getting defibed shouldnt reset the amount of uses only regular respawn)

I definitely think there should be a way to play with more than 3 friends. Not in like squads or anything, still in trios but here‘s my suggestion:
You can queue with up to 6 people for casual tournaments: then you‘ll be placed on „other ends“ of the hierarchy so that if both teams win all of the games you‘ll be matched up in the final. This would avoid any teaming issues but would make it possible to play with more friends! Of course it‘s kinda meh when one team drops out and the other stays in but i still think it would be cool and i don’t really see any downsides to it.

-4v4 or 5v5 Capture The Flag, but instead of the flag both teams fight for a cash box they have to keep in their cash machine until they reach like 50K
-Survival: players having to survive calamities in maps which have sections that can just fall into oblivion if something broke their foundations and kill the players in them
-Deathrun with randomly generated courses with the already existing buildings the game has (just wishful thinking here)

lights overall dmg is the lowest compared to the other two classes, some guy already testet it and dps average was lower than for medium guns and heavy shotgun is by far the most dps

sure you can stay away but that doesnt mean that the shotgun isnt overtuned, it still shreds lights in almost one hit, mediums in almost 2 and heavies in almost 3. Which would be totally fine if you couldnt pump 4 shots out in less than a second in addition to a 16 round magazine

if you believe that the things I mentioned are fine, good for you. I believe by adjusting those it will make the game overall more balanced and fun

you are only back in combat earlier because your health is capped. If your goal is to get some health and go back into combat the timer is the same for everyone, as long as the amount of health you want to feel comfortable fighting again doesnt exceed 150.
The important thing tho is, that if a heavy looses 100hp he is slightly hurt but if a light loses 100hp he is almost 1hit to everything. The light therefor has to dip out of combat and stay there way more often. Since the whole point of light is to harass it would make sense for him to have a faster ooc regen than the other two classes. That would enable his role to shine more.

That's not really a risk if the shotgun guys team is posted up waiting at the objective already. If your 2 remaining players focus the light person they are getting beamed by 2 other people and as I said your heavy is already dead. Sorry but not a fan of the cope people have about the cheese tactics like stun gun shotty. There's no reason a light player should be able to 2 tap a heavy player without them being able to react. All they need to do is bring the sawed offs damage down a bit so it takes a reload to kill a heavy and then increase the cd on the stun gun since it's like 5 seconds or something. And again let's be honest, the highest tier of players using this strat are plenty good enough at out maneuvering whatever counterplay you claim is there. The issue isn't the light player being alive or dead after the initial burst, it's the fact they can instantly make it a 2v3 period. Even if they die, they (if smart) took down your core player and your team is gonna struggle to recover in the highest level of play all the way down to casuals. Again, there's a lot of cope around this combo with people that use it every day pretending it's not busted and it's perfectly fair and balanced but that isn't the case and I am certain it will be nerfed soon, which should put an end to people saying it's fine where it's at lol

There should be a limit on how many mines can be placed and caried (and the cooldown on them should be longer), how much healing per second one person can get, rpg being used to kill people instead of being a utility (damage is too high), the defib should not grant respawn invoulnerability with how easy it is to get off, the ability for every person on the team to use a defib back to back instead of all of them getting a cooldown on use is crazy - should be all on cooldown after use.

Some ability and weapon combos need a look rn - sawed off, stun gun, invis combo, but otherwise the game is great, been playing it nonstop 🙌

I think the stun gun is misplaced on light

light has very high dps but only if they can hit their shots
the stun gun makes hitting your target trivial

(since the nerf we are now able to somewhat defend ourselves but since you cant aim down sight you basically have to spray and pray while fighting the highest dps class in the game, this doesn't work)

I would move the stun gun to medium, making it a tool for them to effetely deal with lights jumping all over the place IF they manage to hit the fastest class in the game

I think the stun gun on light is a good spot for it since lights are very squishy in health anyways. I wouldn’t mind a bigger cooldown on the stun or letting stunned players ads at least. Medium and heavy classes are longer range and lights whole build is close quartered. (Other than the sniper) it’s hard enough for lights to kill multiple team members especially when mediums can almost insta revive. I've had a new bug : i was playing Medium with scar and i started to reload. During my reload animation i switched to a mine and tryed to throw it but i couldnt, my left click wasnt working, so i switched to my launchpad and the same thing occured : i couldnt click. I switched back to my scar and it reloaded automatically but still i couldnt shoot. I tryed switching through all my inventory and every time i switched back to my scar it was reloading once more even tho it was full. I then died and respawned with my team and the bug was still there. I died once more and a teammate revived me THEN i could fire again. longer cooldowns don't do much imo, sure it happens less often but when it happens its still just as cheese/annoying

light being close quarters means they have the opportunity to use it all the time, unlike medium who may have whole engagements outside the stun guns range, meaning the cheese happens less often

they are sneaky and try to take out lone targets that are away from their teams, or run around confused enemies in the chaos of the arena

them having stun gun feels like a "you failed at your job (being sneaky), here you go, just kill them anyways" to me

hello, for 2 times in a row now, playing in a full party, and being the party master, i would start (normal) tournaments, but my friends weren't looking for any game, so i would cancel the search and they would find a game without me (even though we were in the same party). After that they would join a game and i got a penalty for abandoning the game (i couldn't even reconnect). It happened 2 times in a row now and i have a penalty of 30 minutes (i only left 3 games overall, and 2 of them were because of this bug).

@waxen mountain dome shield isn't really overpowered, its just toxic to run into mesh shield dome shield combo if you don't have a light with glitch grenade. swapping it to specialization would allow you to buff the shield, forces only 1 shield, and allows different heavy playstyles. as well as move the goo gun to gadget. removing double shield makes the game less toxic and rock paper scissory

Most crosshair overlays modify nothing in the game as it is simply an overlay. This means your anti-cheat should and probably has no way to detect it unless you're installing your anti-cheat onto PCs (like Riot does). What I think would be the best solution is to allow the global community to use it but disallow it from any sort of competitive tournament (e-sports). That is just my thought; I hope you guys think about it. (If any overlays do modify game files you should specify in TOS which are allowed and which are not)

Punishment system for players who penalize teams ( leave, trolls, nuisance, toxic, etc )

PL weapons (flamethrowers, rocket launchers, grenade pistols, etc.)

Things to add:

An asset for featherweights, a kind of syringe to regenerate life. As featherweights, I find that other players kill us more easily, so I think this would be a good point for us.

Other game modes or temporary events, for example during Christmas or Halloween, why not add a special map with snow or something like that, I think that would be a good idea.

I think a good way to make Cloak more balanced is to add visible distortion around your screen when they get close to you and it gets worse the closer they are. Sometimes with all the shooting and explosions its really hard to hear the effect so a visual indicator would be really nice

Couple suggestions- The sound made by going invisible needs to be louder if the opacity doesn't change, which I dont think it should. Then the respawn locations are sometimes wayyyyyy to far away. I agree with the invis. However, the reason why you spawn far or near is dependent on whether a team has placed the vault in the cash out or not. If the team has already inserted the vault, you will spawn close, if not you will spawn far. Switching classes mid game will make light class absolutely obsolete as players will bring counters to them for sure. Hence having the element of surprise is what gives the light class its advantage despite being so squishy.

Two bugs I’ve experienced:

1. When using a controller, looking with the right stick sometimes doesn’t work. I’ve experienced it on PS5 and a friend has experienced it on PC.

2. After the first cash out, the end game music started to play. Once the cash out was complete there was no other vault that spawned. It said our team had $10k and the yellow progress bar for a second cashout was complete (even though it was only the first cash out of the game). All commentary ended and it basically became TDM until the clock ran out.

1st one: right upon launch of the game if I interact with something in the menu, I can’t select play afterwards. Which is a pain in the ass cause you need to restart the game over and over again.
2nd one: there’s a bug with the V9S pistol, if you reload and switch between gadgets, you won’t be able to fire again and you’ll need to switch twice between the pistol and the gadgets in which will also trigger the reloading animation. Only after doing it twice will you be able to shoot again.

I actually agree with this, played since beta, never had so much problems with just navigating the lobby, trying to buy weapons and entering a game.

As compared to beta, inviting friends has been even more annoying as it sometimes does not register the invite, clicking it once does nothing, then clicking a second time does nothing either, but after about 5 seconds, the chat showed that 2 invites was given at the same time.

As of the recent patch, the lobby in general has extremely slow response to button clicks, when i tried to leave a game, I am unable to click escape, and have to sit through the whole thing of me getting gear and experience. and even after that screen, the screen will stay red for a couple of seconds before going back to lobby. Buying guns also has that issue, where i click on the 800VR button to buy the gun, and it will grey out, then nothing will happen for about 10 seconds, then suddenly i will get the gun.

Everything has gotten laggier and clunkier since the patch, and normally i would blame my PC, but i cross checked with my friends, they all had the same issues. one couldn't even connect to the game at the start and ended up not playing.

Even since beta, running the game at maximum video settings was absolutely fine during the beta, but coming to launch, putting low was barely enough to keep my frames at a reasonable playable range. Please optimize your game's destruction engine or what ever that could be causing this drastic increase in the need for larger computer processing power.

Embark, If you want your player base to stay, take this piece of advice to fix the fundamentals of smoothness and functionality of the UI in lobby to and from entering the game. This is the first impression you will be giving to new players, please show them that this is not a shit game because I really do enjoy this game.

Thermal vision feels horrible to use due to needing to take out the ipad thing and then select it. This game needs a way to kick hackers during a match!

The whole concept of this game is to make it to the final round.
During any match in tournament if you encounter a hacker, even if they are blatantly obvious (one shotting everyone from across the map) there is no way to do anything about it and there is no chance to win the final match.
Hackers will 100% kill this game, everything about it just suits them to the tee. Free to play- objective capping- knockout tournaments-no damage fall off at range-team wipe out with respawn time punishments.

Currently in asian ranked servers there is an obvious hacker(not someone a bit suspicious but definite- kill you from other side of the map with a shotgun) in probably 75% of tournaments (4 matches).
We all know hackers are hard to deal with but this game is literally a hackers dream with no way to do anything about them cheating during a match

Hi guys. My friend is trying to play the finals for the first time and we were having issues with UE64 prereqs failing to install. Turned out to be a drive he had connected that seems to be borked, and I believe something on his machine was pointing towards a dependency on that drive.

we got the EAC splash screen to come up, but NOW it hangs on "waiting for game" and then crashes....

For the majority of the voice lines, especially from the 2 announcers, the results are... really mediocre. If you look at any trailer of this game, you can easily see the hyper kinetic aesthetic represented, but unfortunately none of that is reflected in the announcers or the tournament match UI. Bland, samey line deliveries with no change in emphasis or emotion are just the norm here. Simply put: the hype is completely missing. The performances are bad and should be done by actual VAs because it really sucks the life out of the otherwise incredible display. Please just take the time to record some actual voicework since the AI model used just can't hack it. Please look at fighting game tournament commentary and pro wrestling commentary for an idea of how to actually build hype with your announcers. Also on that front, the UI for tournament mode should really reflect this exciting battle that's ramping up in between the brackets. As it stands, it's super bland. I'd recommend again looking at fighting game pre-intros (tekken, SF, etc) to make us more invested, especially as we survive further in the brackets.

I understand that it's likely it wasn't intentional, but I promise you 100% damage falloff changed. The only other thing it could be is if something about the practice range wasn't working right somehow. But I know that I tested these specific things yesterday, and people ALSO noticed that damage with a few weapons was inconsistent, like damage for AK was random between three different values, and M11 was doing significantly more damage than it's supposed to (In the firing range, because that's the only place we can conclusively test anything). All of that has been fixed as of today, but it wasn't mentioned in the patch notes

Disable it or something, because I have now been banned twice, second time after game was off for a while, for "leaving the match early" when i didn't leave the match or crash out and load back in. How have the devs managed to make the game more clunky and uplaybe since CB2 and OB?

My specs for anyone that might question them:

The menu doesn't work half the time, being really slow.

Half the time I can't play with friends, invites don't appear, when a player leaves they still stay in the lobby on my screen and randomly the matchmaking is cancelled even though nobody touched anything.

Random match suspensions are also frequent and usually the game's fault, me and my friends got a random 15 minute suspension because they game didn't load for us. The game also randomly suspends us after tournaments, which is really weird and just makes the game hard to enjoy.

The movement especially sliding is disgusting, while the new friction on the sliding is fine, to get into the slide you have to perform 10+ different button presses especially if you're trying to slide left/right/backwards.

Sometimes if you change your weapon during a reload, it will remain stuck in the reload state and you won't be able to fire the gun or use consumables/abilities until you switch back to the gun and reload again even though it says max ammo.

The balance seems really weird since CB2/OB, I've got around 100~ hours on the game with CB2, OB and Release together and the game just feels like it has changed for the worse with the new balancing.

Builds like MMM/MMH is extremely overpowered and has no counter as deaths don't matter, if one dies they get insta defib revived and pocketed by the other two, you can't even kill people who just got revived as they are invincible for a short amount of time, enough time to regen them to at least 70% health with 2 healers so it is extremely hard to counter, it would be useful if glitch grenades disabled reviving..

It should be set to where you can click one of the number buttons and throw a grenade or etc, but then go automatically back to your primary weapon, whether it be a gun or a meelee weapon. right now it just gets in the way of fighting. Can't reload cancel on mouse and keyboard

When playing with an Xbox controller on PC I can press "Y" (the default input to switch to the weapon) to cancel a reload, but on mouse and keyboard pressing the weapon input during a reload doesn't do anything, which makes it super awkward to be stuck reloading when an enemy pops out.

You can switch to an equipment or melee to cancel the reload but meleeing takes a lot of time and sometimes you don't have any equipment available. It would feel a lot better if we could cancel the reload by simply pressing the weapon keybind, like you can on controller.

Daily request/reminder to revert Bank It to it's Open Beta state - 2 vaults, 3 cash out points. The flow the game had with the OB settings was near-perfect and unique to Bank It.

Post-launch Bank It is a fraction of a shadow of a thought of it's former self.
1 vault and 2 cash out points has ruined the gamemode's flow and turned it into a Moshpit Simulator™️.

There is no more thinking involved. Objective 1 - get the vault. Objective 2 - go to the cashout point with the most time remaining (because the first one is too dangerous 99.5% of the time).

It is dull, tactics-bare and lacks the unique and engaging flow that OB Bank It had.

after playing many hours with friends we noticed alot of heavy and their abilities have been sometimes to well matched together, I think it would be good to investigate not being able to shoot though the bubble that the heavy put down or not being able to use both shield abilities at once.

Add gunsmith/weaponry to customize attachments for certain or ALL weapons. If fcar has holo sight and angled grip underbarrel, or mp5 with acog sight (if im not mistaken). Then why not apply to other weapons? Like imagine Sr-84 sniper rifle with iron sight. would be cool to play close/mid range with it

That's not the solution. I have a lot, but they are casuals or live in other country, and this game is unplayable with high ping. I like to soloQ but i'm playing against 3stacks with high lvl, while I'm having completely bots as teamates who seems that never played a game before or even know what a mouse is. The lvl difference is just impressive.

My game froze during a ranked game, i restarted and re joined, we qualified, then it brought me to the next round screen then the xp screen and said ive been penalized for abandoning a match.. noice pls fix

The heavy shotgun needs a huge nerf. It's ttk is far too low compared to other things, and it's not fun to fight. Conversely, the medium shotgun and nade launcher need a buff, and the heavy nade launcher also probably needs a buff to make it more competitive

They got bugs to fix first, there’s a lot of server and ban issues they have to fix first and in any shooter games don’t just release nerfs or buffs at random intervals. They’re usually at certain times. Like in apex for example they have patch notes mid season and at the start of seasons as well as when there are events. If they release a new gun and it’s broken they don’t just hot patch it they wait until the normal interval

Just had a pretty nasty crash. Grabbed a cash box during the first round of Tournament. Game almost immediately froze. Tried to End Task in task manager but that didn't do much. Eventually an error window popped-up that said "The application has hung and will close now." A crash handler window popped up as well but could not see what it said because of the other prompt being on top of it. At that point my entire PC nearly slowed to a halt before the game application closed on its own. Upon relaunching the game I had a message that said I am suspended from Tournament for a period of time. What is wierd is that both of my team mates were also penalized despite completing the round.

I agree with this. I don't see a utility reason for the heavy grenade launcher that isn't overshadowed by the other primary weapons for Heavy, and the kill potential is much less than other weapons unless you hit every bounce shot.

On another note, the medigun is a problem, sometimes. I understand that the point is "kill the healer first", sure, but we lost a match where my friend backstabbed someone being healed repeatedly with a dagger, but because they were being healed they were immortal and stole the objective as if the dagger repeatedly backstabbing him didn't exist.

That's ridiculous. Medigun has a place, but you shouldn't be able to just walk into someone with melee and facetank bullets unless the healer dies. It just needs a tweak, not calling for it to be removed or something.

not necessarily there are plenty of games that have incorporated role que, and the community plays and enjoys both modes. Its just another option for the people that "main" a role and want to game with people that "main" the other rolls needed to have a competitive enjoyable match without needing to que with a team for that to be plausible. At this moment solo que is not very fun, and role que could really help.

What graphics settings/monitor settings or ANYTHING do I have to change to see cloaked players. They can go invisible right in front of me and I'll be lucky to even see a glimmer. Shit made me just ALT + F4 out of the tournament. It would be easier trying to fight literal ghosts.

Balance is pretty good for a day 1 game but the double barrel/invis combo is too strong. I get that sonar/hug your heavy is the counter but it just makes for a boring firefight.
