hello guys i have a sensitivity problem/bug when i play a match everything is going all good and at 1 random point on the game my sensitivity changes and gets slower and ruins everything for that moment dpi is always the same and does not change and the only thing i found that fixes it is to go the mouse setting at the game play a bit with a sensitivity and put it back to my regular sensitivity and it fixes it but it comes back later at random moments

you need to go to files and search easy and wait for anticheat to come up. look for easy anti cheat set up and double click. close all that and go back to steam. run the finals and it should patch some corrupt files and you should be good after that. @fierce flicker

Hey so, I launch the Finals today and my Nighthawk armor keeps pinging a phishing attempt. I don't have any other applications open, and this ONLY pings when I launch the game. Also was experiencing extreme frame drops in game.

My game normally runs at my locked framerate of 120 but I was barely getting 60, sometimes dropping sub 30fps in gunfights. I checked my pc performance on other games - no issues, no weird notifications on my network security. So I'm not sure what's going on :T

This is what solved the issue for me:

For some reason, discovery.exe gets stuck in the system....it even shows up at startup, before I’ve even launched the game.

Just like you, I tried everything... uninstalled the anti-cheat, reinstalled it,nothing worked.

When I finally had enough, I uninstalled the game completely, restarted my system, and booted into Safe Mode. Once there, I manually navigated to the folder where The Finals was installed and deleted the entire folder. I even emptied the Recycle Bin to be sure.

Then I rebooted back into normal Windows, and before reinstalling The Finals, I checked if other games using the same anti-cheat were working again. I tested it with Fortnite (which had also stopped working when this issue started), and it was finally working properly.

Before reinstalling The Finals, I also set Steam to run with admin privileges on system startup. Here’s how you can do that:

Set Steam to run as admin on startup:
Open Task Scheduler (just search for it in the Start menu).
Click "Create Basic Task" on the right side.
Give it a name and description.
Set the trigger to "When I log on".
Set the action to "Start a program".
Browse to the location of Steam.exe (usually in Program Files).
(Optional) Add launch parameters if needed in the "Add arguments" field.
In the task’s Properties > General tab, check "Run with highest privileges".

After doing all that, the game finally launched without issues.

So I'm having a really weird time with the game right now. When I updated the game and launched it for the first time, the game forgot who I was and sent me to training. After the game finally realized in between loading screens who I was, it logged me in. I thought that was problem solved, but when I bought the new $20 bundle in the store, it kept saying please return to steam launcher to finalize payment. I have my receipt from steam saying I purchased the bundle but now the game won't let me access it. I thought that "ok, maybe I should relaunch" but now it's struggling to launch at all :')

anyone else here getting crazy lag leading to the game freezing at 1 FPS and then crashing? Happens most often between matches. Ive crashed twice like this, the first crash getting me banned for 10 minutes and I crashed a second time in the same way, causing me to get banned for 30 minutes.

I do wish there was a system that could tell when you crash over when you force quit a game on purpose, but I guess that could be hard or imposable to tell the difference. Sucks.

ST are for legacy battle pass items. You earn one per match i think. you can collect up to 50 ST max. You have to spend some to earn more same like the diamond VR stuff for equipment with a max of 5000.

There's a weird bug when getting revived where your gun model is raised when you ads. So far, I've only seen it happen to me when using the mac 11 and getting defibbed. switching items and switching back to the weapon seems to revert the ads view model back to normal

I have a 3070ti and the game runs good. It's just unreal engine on my computer sucks ass and keeps crashing for no reason unless it's another game like guilty gear strive or any unreal engine 4 games. Unreal engine 5 crashes sometimes, and that I don't mind. It's only the FINALS that crashes like this and has this weird bullshit where it makes a crash log then prevents me from EVER PLAYING THE GAME AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE CRASH LOG PROGRAM.
the last time I've fixed this I had to completely uninstall easy anti cheat. But this time it won't let me even do that!!! Saying the program is "being used by something else" even though there is NO OTHER PROGRAM using it.

I mean they have always had a slightly higher need for a cpu based on how the destruction works. You cant code that without making it use a ton of cpu processing. Its 2025 though so unless you are playing on a smart fridge you should be able to play with a minimum setup. I've been getting the same since 7.0.1, I've got an AMD 7900XT and a R7 5800X3D.
I've done the following things: Rollback gpu drivers (to 25.5.1), uninstall windows updates, self-reinstall windows and verifying game files.

It happens pretty frequently, but randomly. Sometimes it'll happen while I'm in the main menu, sometimes it'll happen as I spawn in or mid game.

How does Show Tokens are calculated? Presumably one should get 1 token per match. But for whole WT session of 3 rounds I get only two. For DM of 2 rounds I get only 1.

I am having a serious issue with easy anti-cheat, to the point where I cannot even open the game. When I try to open the game, the launcher tries to install easy anticheat. However, the install always fails and the game wont launch. I have tried verifying files, restarting my pc, redownloading the game, running the install files as administrators, even creating a separate shortcut with some edits to try and force the install. The biggest BUG in the game atm is HMMR MMR. Have lost damn near 4k in ranked points due to 6 teammates leaving matches mid game after the first cash out fight. Doesnt matter if we go in and get swamped, or we go in and wipe the other team. If the teammate dies he leaves almost everytime. There needs to be a more harsh punishment for leaving a macth and not rejoiing. HMMR needs to be removed, it is the worst match making method possible. If I m ranked Silver 1 I want silver 3 to gold 3 lobbies. No reason I should be getting diamond 2s or higher in almost every match we play.

The ADS glitch has been out of hand since the season 7 update. Been having it happen at least once every game, and I've had it as many as 10 times in a single game. Don't know what changed but it is unbareable.

I'm having a bug quite often when I use the H+ Infuser and switch it to my weapon (XP-54), this bugs in front of my face, like the WHOLE weapon swinging around in front of me. When I aim the sights gets on top of my screen instead of the middle.

Just want to point out im having the same issue. Playing on Xbox client on PC and every single game i join it either kicks me or takes like 2 minutes to load. Dont have these issues on the steam client. Sometimes u will reload and it won’t refill the mag it takes a few animations sometimes and it happens to often I think it might have to do with picking up red barrels I only ever use the Akm so it’s the only gun I’ve noticed it with and when I look at a barrel but I don’t have a full mag it will reload first even though the barrel is highlighted if I go out of my way to look at a barrel in the middle of a fight it should prioritize grabbing the barrel

If you have an intel 13th or 14th gen processor you most likely did not update bios and they are known to have a power issue. If you have an AMD cpu, it's most likely your ram that is unstable. In this case set command rate to 2T (or 2N) for your ram and if this does not work by itself, try to reduce the ram frequency by a bit. @ripe tulip

For some games you likely won't. It's mostly a back end and DX12 thing, so for most games, especially those using DX11 or older, you won't have an issue. Games like The Finals can and do cause issues. I had issues with it too last Season, especially on Kyoto, that disappeared when updating BIOS

I was going into the Intel 13th/14th Gen issue but since you mentioned it's an AMD CPU, it's probably your RAM like MekNaan mentioned. Could be you have some bad sticks or it's failing, so you'll want to test that.

I just got into final round and on the second cashout I had no info or markers on my screen. I can not believe have uninstalled the game! My favorite game I still love to play every day. I had been getting a TFGE0000 error so put in a ticket. After describing the problem, trouble shooting, describing the problem again trouble shooting more (repeat a few times) I am asked "Are you sure the error persists after the last 17 game sessions I see on your account?" I had to repeat that can not swap weapon skins and have had to delete all my characters a few times and THEN not swap ANY weapon skins. I had a go at the support person for not reading what I had reported numerous times earlier. The error occurs when I swap a weapon skin %100 of the time. I still can not believe I have uninstalled. I really hope this TFGE0000 error gets fixed and even more I hope that some of the fantastic support guys remember to take the time to read tickets fully. Rant over thanks for playing. Yes, there are applications that kick you out if you have them running. You could try to kill all processes that you do not use from task manager and start the game afterwards. If this fixes it, you can start them again one by one until you figure out which one causes the game to kick you.

Currently there is a bug with the winch claw in combination with either the m60 or lewis gun.
When reloading and then using the winch claw in the middle of the animation, there will be a forced reload animation once the winch claw retracts.
Yet, internally the reload timer from when you started the reload still remains, thus you can start shooting mid forced reload animation.
The forced reload and the reload timer persisting through the winch claw animation are both bugs.
Both probably have the same reason, a flag like is_reloading.

2. disabling or using a slower XMP profile
3. reinstalling the finals and all related applications
4. updating CPU to microcode 0x12F from 0x12B

   [NEW] 7. uninstalled razer synapse, even updated some device firmware
   [NEW] 8. switching to dx11 (seems to help the most, but instead of unreal engine crashing, the finals crashes. its not the unreal crash menu)

i also dont overclock. well, besides XMP but that's the advertised speed. this issue has only happened on THIS season. i dont remember crashing on season 6 and if i was it was rare.

it also seems that it's not my CPU, as others that are on the AMD platform are experiencing these crashes as well. atp, i just think it's any game that uses the unreal engine, plus some finals shenanigans. classic.

Has anyone had the problem with launching the game on steam and it gives you the creatfile failed with 32 popup, I have searched online and it has said two things to do, delete the EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys file and run the EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe file as an administrator. I have done this multiple times, first off I have to reboot my pc everytime I want to delete the .sys file and it works for one session until the dang file comes back. after update im having major CPU-spikes in responstime. usually im playing around 4-5ms. now after update it goes up to 500-800ms and with that huge fps-drops. anyone else?
other games runs perfectly fine, isolated to The Finals
