Firstly, ensure that you have installed the latest Windows updates and restart before doing the next step.

Type "cmd" in the Windows search bar, right-click on it, and select "Open as Administrator."

Type "sfc/scannow" and let it run. Once it has finished scanning, type "exit" and restart your PC.

If the above step does not resolve your issue, unfortunately, there may not be a solution available.

They've fixed the Xbox crossplay issue. Game runs amazing on my series x. Never have had any issues other than crossplay not properly turning off. Fixed now. So the game is perfect on Xbox.

i have a question about the processor core ratio change needed to get this game to run on some systems. is this change needed because the game is buggy or is it an issue with the processor? i'm thinking about RMAing my processor because my mobo doesn't allow me to change core ratios. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare also crashes and i've seen similar fixes requiring the core ratio change.

I have a 13900K with a ROG STRIX B760-I mobo.
My current plan is to RMA the cpu to see if that fixes it. Then RMA my mobo to see if that fixes it. If none of that works i plan to replace my mobo with a ROG STRIX Z790-I.

i think changes were made to foster the implementations created to increase the usage of sonar grenade and other detection mechanics within the game after having realizing that they have low usage rates and people just didn't have a reason to use them, we run 2 recons in the daily squad and we've been cleaning them easily without the need to run into surprises

@long hearth theres a time limit to how long you can be disconnected and when the game will kick you, and fp changes can be found in #patch-notes

@soft tide you need to wake up the server and have it re-authenticate what is being shown on the client side AKA restart

@long pelican this is a common problem, you just have to lower your shaders or graphics quality, make sure Vsync is turned off as that has been reported to cause alot of issues, also make sure to use the correct aspect resolution

Hey regarding your brightness in The Finals, possibly try going into AMD's control panel and change the exposure setting down a tad, or else does AMD have an overlay like Nvidia where you can adjust color settings and brightness, etc? Cuz if it does you could enable that and adjust the brightness so that it only applies to the finals anyways

Hey guys. Was able to play The Finals just fine about 3 weeks ago, havent been able to play since. VRAM never spiked higher than 10 gigs for me @1440p epic settings. Now, VRAM just climbs until it hits 16106 mbs, then the game bugs out, flickers my screen black a bunch of times, causes my gpu driver to restart, crashes my game, and gives me the “Out of VRAM” warning.

Issue is not present in any other game. Phasmophobia, Dead by Daylight, Palworld, DOTA 2, Heroes of the Storm, all run just fine.

Gigabyte B550m DS3h
RX 6800xt Red Dragon (stable oc at 2.52 GHz)

My friend wanted us to download the game to play together and neither of us can add anyone as a friend or play again with a good teammate. He said he won't play the game by himself because he is not an fps die hard like me. By that logic the game looses 50% its player base only from not being able to add friends. Even I would quit the game after the honeymoon phase if I cannot gather a few good teammates to play competitively

Non fps diehards play the game to have fun with friends. I am the only fps diehard from the 3 people so me giving you 50% is generous. Are you using steam @sullen surge ? Make sure your friends have their steam profile not on private, and also make sure your online on steam. You can always get your friends game tag and add it as friend in game.

Hi Embark, playing the new platform mode often finding that when I try to switch my load out, it doesn’t change what is displayed in your current inventory. For example you could select on the baton and riot shield and the inventory will still display the default from the main contestant selection. Not game breaking but makes it very hard to see what you’ve selected before jumping back into the action. Thanks for a great game!

Two issues with this game I'd like to report, not sure how since the bug-reports channel says I can't post:

1. Spawning near the end of a match 200+ meters away is unfair, team respawn timers are enough punishment. For example, if my team gets a steal and is eliminated then we have to wait for the count down timer (fine this is fair) but then we're often spawned 200m away from the action with 15 seconds left on the clock there is no point in even trying to continue playing. This disincentivizes competitive play. There should be closer spawns if a team is potentially going to win or if the match time is very low (2 minutes left shouldn't spawn people more than 110m away) from the current cashout.

2. Disincentivize team death match style gameplay. Too many times have I been in a match and we are the underdogs and another team keeps killing us instead of the team that holds the cashout. This game is incentivized to kill anyone at any point. I think random killing is fine but it shouldn't increment the kill count unless that kill was a player on a team that holds a cashout or is stealing. Again this is just an idea but the more players play this game as team death match causing BS outcomes, the more people will not return to play.

On controller I swapped the jump button (LB) with the (a) button (bumper jumper 4 life) unfortunately if I mapped the ping button to A it disables the "insert coin" command when respawning. I had to take the tradeoff of not being able to ping in order to jump with LB hopefully this is corrected.

After trying everything, from new install, windows security options, bios settings and update, to uninstalling all kinds of software.

I now found out it was the Rapid Trigger of my Steelseries Apex Pro TKL!!! I had to disable it in the software.

Note: just deinstalling the Steelseries software does NOT work. I actually had to reinstall it, then disable Rapid trigger.

Now it works without any issue again. Hope it helps someone else.

Hey just played a match and was able to see a whole team through walls about halfway through the match. I was like they all had a tracking dart on them at all times. I was able to see them across map and all their actions in real time. It was like recon sense on crack.

Even before Season 2, playing as a medium, I randomly cannot use my Heal Beam. It lets me pull it out but does not show teammates as targets to be able to heal them and renders me pretty much useless. the new maps spawns are super super broken. A single cash out was happening, two other teams were wiped and both teams respawned at the open cash box allowing a team to get a free cashout while we had to deal with two other teams on us. I think this might be happening in all maps too

just got TFAV1011 and I'm not running any "disallowed tools" been playing constantly since cb1 and never run into any issues like this before. Only things I can think of that would maybe set it off is OBS and Razer Synapse but synapse is only controlling my lights i'm not using any macros or anything and I have the anti cheat compatibility hook enabled in obs, game reopened fine but it interfered with my placement matches for ranked and I'm pretty annoyed as this is the 2nd interruption in only 3 or 4 games. Previously it was that my friends game "Crashed" but it's a recurring crash that i've run into with multiple friends only in tournaments seemingly where between rounds or at the start of the tournament all of us are fine and the last is stuck loading or left in lobby for some reason. This wouldn't be a huge issue if it could just let us reconnect but this bug seems to interfere with/prevent that. Would appreciate some help but seeing as my account wasn't banned support doesn't have a route to open a ticket for this nor do I want to falsely open a ticket by saying I was banned. I have over 100 hours on a new account without any issues so idk why this is such an issue.

does anyone have a fix for my keyboard and mouse disconnecting when trying to play besides downvolting? I can only play the game on dx11 because of this bug but i get 50 fps and its extremley choppy. I'm really at a loss of what to do, I have over 200 hours in this game and I'm really excited for the look of the new season but as of a couple updates ago I have been unable to play. The issue is constant packet loss and server issues as per the in-game icons. I have performed packet loss and internet tests on my end and I have 0% packet loss on my internet connection itself and no issues with any other online game, I also have top tier internet with way better speeds than most people and nothing has changed about the device I've been able to use since launch with every setting maxed. This is absolutely something on the game side it can't be anything else but I don't see other people having these issues would could possibly going on?

I even tested other servers (my local is north America) and while it still persisted it actually seemed a bit better on other regions servers which seems to further confirm it's something about the NA server specifically.

Anyone getting audio stutter while playing this game? Not sure it only happen in season 2 or not. I play this game through USB DAC. Normally I use 32bit 384khz audio output. And in most of game. Including Battlefield, Minecraft, Apple Music. It works fine. But in this game even with 24bit 96khz I still get audio stutter

Movement "stuck" - Inputs dropping?

I often get "stuck" as the game doesn't register my WASD movement or sprint on first press, holding down the movement key will not do anything and I need to press the key again to move. I suspect it is a server issue or packet loss since it is worse in certain matches, but has gotten a lot worse this patch.

I do not have this issue in any other game and it is not a keyboard issue either. My friend experiences the same issue, to an equivalent extent in each match i.e. one match we will both be fine, another we will both have very bad dropped input/stuck movement issues.

Happened in Las Vegas desert version, cashout went under the map and no one could ever take it back. it was the last box of the game but again maybe other teams could change the outcome made by that box if it didn't bugged out. My ranked is broken and it will only rank me up whenever my game disconnects and it's only happened twice and I have gotten like 3 ranked wins past 12 hours and done good and not trash so I can guarantee it's a glitch HELP PLEASE

in my experience when it won't load me in, i'll restart the game and it'll let me reconnect

Can someone help me with mouse freezing? I have had this bug since the open beta. Essentially for small periods of time like 1 or 2 seconds, my mouse will have no input. Sometimes if im firing, it will continue to fire even if I let go of my mouse button. I ONLY experience it in this game. It seems to happen more often when I am within 5 yards of an enemy or if I am using a melee weapon.

I have tried all the common suggestions:

• changing to dx11 but that made the game performance terrible
• Changing polling rate had no effect
• Changing usb port had no effect
• Updating drivers - My mouse does not have any downloadable drivers (Zoey ZA12)

my theory is that it is somehow related to my network/server but I have no proof of that. any help would be appreciated

Why does my game keep crashing halfway through the match. I can barely get one game in. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and all my drivers are updated but it still crashes.

RANKED on PS5 European region is not working. We are not able to find any matches after waiting for more than 30 min. It feels like no one is there to play because once we switch region to north America it find immediately a match. Anyone having same issue?
