This error only ever happened to me when I was undervolting my cpu until I got it stable. I'm fairly certain this game is very sensitive to unstable xmp's, overclocks or voltages. Try disabling any overclocks, multi-core enhancement, xmps etc. Try updating your bios

@oak bobcat delete the embark and discovery folders from appdata/local and then verify the game. You'll have to reset your settings. Also discord has a search function, this fix has been provided 100s of times by now

Update your bios and chipset and gpu drivers. Xmp is required for full ram speeds and could be unstable even if it seems stable in other games, updating bios may resolve this. Multi-core enhancement (Asus specific, not sure what it's called on other mobos) cranks voltages and gives an extra boost to turbo speeds could also be unstable. I'd update bios first before disabling though (although it'll help with cpu Temps being off, this game roasts my cpu). I know the error specifies your gpu is being lost (probably crashing driver) but I would try my suggestions anyways

If you cancel tournament matchmaking and change to a different mode, it will give you abandon penalty. I got it from canceling normal tournament and switching to ranked.

Edit; Main menu said I was suspended, but I’m not actually suspended. I just activated tournament matchmaking and it put me in a match.

Console players have so far been unable to play a single ranked tournament on the Asian servers, and after turning on cross-platform it still doesn't help, but everything works fine in both casual and normal tournament modes, which is hard to believe that it's due to the low number of Aisian console players.

While I was trying to get my Twitch Drops, first I got an error due to absence of account connection. I checked my Twitch, and it all was fine with Steam. When I clicked "Connect Account" under the drop on Twitch, site with my Embark Profile opened. I tried to link it to Steam and Twitch, and it asked me to log in through my Steam account ( although I was already logged in ). I logged off, then tried to log in and got my Drops somehow. After that I tried to launch the game and it said "Create New Account". Now I can't log into my old Embark account to play The Finals. The only thing I can do is to create a new one

Now I completely lost my account and can't do anything about it. Besides losing the progress, I also lost real money on that account

You can switch weapons midgame inRanked Tournament, just get kicked by server and your weapons will be reset to what you had first time if you switched later on.

I queued for a solo ranked tournament as a heavy, found a game (skyway stadium) but got stuck on an infinite loading screen. So I made the decision to alt+f4 to restart the game so I could save myself from a suspension and rank loss. When the game launched I reconnected to the match finding myself playing medium with heal, akm, goo nades, bounce and defib. I don't even have a character loadout on my account with those weapons and gadgets. By emoting I found myself having the default skin, which I also doesn't match any of my loadouts. We won first round but I got kicked in loading screen with the error code tfge0001. After another restart and reconnection attempt tfge0015 the game crashed. 20 minutes later the reconnect button is still active.

Edit: I tried pressing the reconnect button once more but the game seems to be over (did not loose any league points :)). Hope this will assist in tackling this probably very rare bug. Just to mention: I've never encountered anything remotely similar to this before. I've not really experienced any game crashes of some sorts since launch, only occasionally the three betas.

After using a spray there is a bug where you can't activate recon senses for a good 15-20 sec (it's almost as if you're stuck in an emote or something) as well as the can't fire weapon/use any gadgets and only way to fix is to die and get revived again. Throwing knive skins will not be retained after throwing. Knives stuck in walls or on the floor will have the default skin instead of whatever applied skin.

Probably not the best idea with a few patches to QEMU you would have alot more hacking than if you has just of added Linux support as now you have full unfiltered access to the games dram contents, Extremely hard to detect & no way of actually permanently banning them, I'm unsure how banning works on Proton but it has to be more robust than a vanishing untraceable hacker that can just switch accounts, change ip, change machine information & boot it right back up.

I've found that it typically happens on the snow Monaco map for me , it can also clip through using a goo grenade if you throw it in the right spot, the goo will spit out over the totem and clip it through the ground.

also im not sure if this is just me but if you disconnect your headset and reconnect it while the game is open, the voice chat options will not display the headset that disconnected. and thus you cannot have voice chat output to your headphones unless you restart the game. I've had it happen 2 times now cause my usb's are fucked.

The game is just another company thats pushing micro transactions thru a battlepass. Hacker ridden, chinese players infest the american servers which is bad because the ping deficite is horrible, and there are multiple mechanics that you can abuse to win games over players that dont know any better. The cherry on top is strong SBMM, and AI-based skill based damage, hit reg, and horrible servers (similar to what we saw in MW2019, which lead to the absolute FAILURE that was MW2). this game WILL die if it doesnt learn that nobody wants this dogshit.

I just had a visual bug where the invis effect persist after using the vanish bomb even after dying and until the end of match. I don't think it's from the vanish bomb exclusively because prior to this a similar bug happened using the invis specialization as well. Fortunately the bug is visual for me only, as the other team can still see me and shoot me but still jarring nevertheless. Even reusing invis and other gadgets didn't remove this bug or even jumping off the map.

I did learn how to play with it's mechanics - the ones that are made clear. I spent +130 hours learning the ins and outs of movement and combat with my light and medium builds, and learning to control the sprays for the weapons I take. Then I found out there is some hidden bullshit that negates all the effort I put into controlling my weapons. I wouldn't be so pissed off if there was a coherent set of mechanics to play with, but there aren't. There are two sets of mechanics that are non-complimentary, and non-transparent, and that is a massive determent.

I just had the angelscript callstack error for the first time.
Tried a couple of the fixes that have been posted previously. None of them worked.
Then I noticed that the game had no audio in the menu.

So I looked at the windows audio mixer (App volume and device preferences). That's the window (since Windows 10) where you can select audio devices per application.
I've noticed that the output device for the game was blank.

I've set it from blank back to "Default" and the game stopped crashing. 😁
Also worth it to check while the Easy Anti-Cheat window is open. That one was blank as well.

Going to the game folder, where it is installed, there will be a ".bat" executable called "Install_EasyAntiCheat.bat". Run it, and then go to a subfolder called "EasyAntiCheat", go into it, and run the installer "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe"

I did this process, and apparently I no longer had any problems with the verification failure. Let me know here if it works for you.

For some weapons I have somehow selected 2 skins and I can't deselect one of them, which means I can no longer use my golden AK skin, for example. I have this with about 9 skins on different weapons and contestants. No matter how much I switch the skins around, I simply can't use these 9 skins, which are somehow selected as the 2nd "active" skin.

This is not a realistic option. This needs to stop being suggested. Not everyone wants to have to go into their bios and disable XMP and run at horrible stock RAM speeds (for most of us) have our PC run slower, and get worse performance, JUST to play this game. The fact that Embark hasn’t just gone out to fix this immediately is just awful.

I understand that people want to sqeeze out every bit out of their hardware but this is what worked for me. Yes, disabling XMP lowers your RAM clock speeds but it makes it more stable for the time being. i also get the people dont want to do this for one game. Fine. But its a work around that could work and you can alway turn XMP back on in 2 min. I really dont think the preformance difference is that noticeable if you have halfway decent RAM. They have stated that error is caused my a memory leak

then i wiped my hd, installed regular windows 11 pro and also enabled secureboot.
and i did everything else the same, and it worked

I bet you have low upload bandwidth. It's a problem that all users have with low upload bandwidth, 1MB or less, the game at a certain point sends a much larger amount of data and packets saturating the bandwidth and causing lag. When zapped you can't even switch your weapon to gadgets and it locks you into hip fire state.

When I said only the primary available I meant that I could use the sword and attack but all the other gadgets were locked until the end of the match. And for my luck that happened with a minute left and we were in 1st place. Next tournament match everything was normal again.

If I would try to replicate it: slide in stairs then quickly switch to a mine or gadget and throw it

Same, somehow tabbing out of the game onto a different window fixes it temporarily. Tab out when loading into a game and then tab out on the window on the winner screen. Wait a few seconds before tabbing back in. Its been the most consitent way to fix the problem for me.

Pretty sure this is a common UnrealEngine mistake, where the "UP/DOWN" binds are separate from JUMP/CROUCH. Since we can't rebind Up or Down, they need to be aliased to jump and crouch.

There is another keybind bug where only the secondary bind works, and after one game erases the primary. I have not figured out why this is or if it happens consistently, but I've lost both by PTT key and my primary jump key due to this.

This is a bug relating to any melee weapon or the quick melee action. This bug makes them attack much faster than intended and is unfair if used properly with something like a macro. Inputs required ; The button selected for swapping to an item you physically pull out e.g goo nade + Quick melee or Button for weapon pull out + attack button for any given melee weapon. Press these inputs at the same time and multiple times - not too fast as there is a delay on hit registration with melee weapons and this bug will occur. I'm on Linux and I am completely unable to play the game. Any time I try to queue for a match, I'll get to the loading screen, then get error TFGE0001. I am using Proton experimental on Arch Linux, I have tried this on both steam-runtime and steam-native-runtime. I have reinstalled the game, deleted the wine prefix, and tried most of the launch configs that were reported working on ProtonDB. I have also verified the game files several times, and restarted my network, which seem to be the common responses to this error. I am able to launch the game and queue for matches on my Steam Deck, which is on the same network. My game disconnects me every time I load into a game, and when I reconnect I load in as a default medium loadout rather than my own loadout, which is drastically different from default. This has been happening for two days straight now, every single game. One time I couldn't reconnect, so I quit and it suspended me from tournaments temporarily. This is really screwing me over on ranked because I keep losing ranked points because of the issues above.

Also, when this happens during tournaments, it gives me 5 respawn tokens instead of 2? Hoping this doesn't get me reported for cheating because I genuinely have no idea how this happens.

I found several bugs related to reloading on a heavy character. If you press reload and open the mesh shield, it looks like the socket to which the weapon is attached changes position. This bug can be easily reproduced on the training ground. I don’t know can it be reproduced in real game.

The full error message is "TFSS0007 - Failed to sync data from the backend services." It happens on the connection screen on startup. I believe that it has to do with the fact that my account has no contestants stored on it. It started originally when - due to some server lag - I was accidentally able to delete all my contestants at once. Something about my account is broken or corrupted. I contacted support 4 weeks ago, and again a few days ago.
