Places a 2 way teleporter that emits a loud noise. If your able to hide it but unfortunately die, you could use it to get back to the point faster,use it as a trap, or just get out a sticky situation

Light: quick heal
Able to quickly heal you to full (or a teammate)

I find the zipline and sonar grenades quite useful and I'd always recommend to keep at least one movement tool with you as well.

I never really messed around with the gas grenades. As a light main I always have some must have gadgets so gas has a low priority, though I always keep it in reserve just in case

For the riot shield specifically, just circle your opponent (you moving to the right), your body will be covered by the riot shield so you can get the melees off

If you need to gain ground while being shot at you can hold block and move up, nobody knows to just run away, they just keep shooting.

And for hammer I've found the goo gun to be very nice combo set up (goo them then m2) it's a instant kill on lights, and a m2 plus m1 will take down most mediums!

Ooh! Good question! Fire and gas are a good deterrent! With their poor range running and placing mines also work (be careful to get outside their reach) stay away from walls, when you hit a corner your as good as dead! And there is a small window at their feet when they are holding down block. For heavy mains flamethrower go right through their shield they will die before you do. For light players ambush them use hit and run tactics, or use sword, the sword dash attack can out reach their small range!

With Recon Senses being nerfed to 30m and limited use (and probably will continue to be nerfed/adjusted as it is still great) the Tracking Dart is probably the next best method of scans. Light’s Motion Sensor has a small detect radius and Sonars are good to throw in a building’s 2nd/3rd floor for almost a full scan, but a full body highlight that lasts for what feels like a full team fight is unmatched. Your whole team can see the highlight, it hits for 5 damage which in rare cases and very specific circumstances can shorten your time to kill on a target. Hitscan, infinite range and a relatively quick cooldown makes for great support

I feel like a lot of the issues people have with the game currently are the one-shots. Moreover the health pool of medium is meant to be a middle-ground between the glass cannon lights and tanky heavies. I'm not opposed to faster cycle speed for the sniper on light but making it one-shot mediums is too much IMO. then you factor in the fact that the range of the rifle coupled with the small hitbox and maneuverability of lights means you should be able to secure that kill without dying if you're using the sniper as intended.

And to be clear I also mean one-shot adjacent things such as the already nerfed potential the stun-gun+double-barrel had,

Defibs are a must IMO. APS is great in the GL meta of today. Jump pas and zip line are good for movement and team play. Pyro grenade is useful for dealing with all of the gas that people use. I like mines, but ONLY explosive mines (for your team’s sake, PLEASE think twice before bringing gas mines!). All grenades are useful. Ultimately you should choose a role or playstyle and make your build based on that.

I Would like to suggest two New Gadgets. firstly i would like to suggest a Gas Mask Gadget for only the light class. it would save them from dying near instantly to gas whenever they try too claim the prize. secondly i would like to see as health pack for just the medium, it would take time to deploy but would give them a full charge of HP, rather than sitting idly in a corner between a spicy revive and getting in the action, alternatively it could be a quick action hp item that would slowly regen interrupted by damage.

Actually there is an obvious fix for the c4. Lower the c4 number from 2 to 1 and balance the dmg. There is no reason to have 2 charge of c4 on heavy. The purpose of the c4 should be lower the player hp not kill the player. And ofc for destruction.

I personally think the game weapons were perfect at launch and ever since the devs have been handing out lollipops 🍭 to all the crybaby light players who cry about getting nuked while also not doing anything helpful for their teammates

The should leave the canisters and C4 alone.. that said.. I believe there should be buffs for a lot of the primary weapons in all classes so that you would see more variation than just the weapons that work.. make all primary weapons better.. and buff some gadgets that are underused too.. Sorry for late response. This makes a lot of sense. I thought about making AK a lower ttk while FCAR becomes a weapon with inverse falloff. Basically up close it hits like a nerf gun but can beam far away. The reticle would change shape based on how close the enemy you hit's distance letting you know if you are in sweetspot. At a certain range the damage would fall off again.

instead of crying for buffs and nerfs we should be more proactive and suggest things that would genuinely make the game better. I suggest a snowglobe skin for the pyro grenade. Think of how much better the game would be if you could swirl that thing around and see snow fall on a tiny little village inside your grenade before you toss it right at a heavy's fat stupid face. Everyone would be happy, the game will be immediately 10/10 with a world record metacritic score i guarantee it

i main the SR-84 its really good as long as u hit your shots if you miss a shot while fighting a heavy your done for. but its a very well balanced weapon
