they do, its just within two ranks. which means golds and diamonds can be in the same lobbies, same with golds and bronze. in most games this not too bad since almost every competitive game has like 7-8 different ranks. the finals has 5, which means the skill disparity is huge between two ranks compared to other games.

I'm a unique kind of player that goes solo and hit the top 100 in the world at the beginning. It's cool you're promoting the project and doing collaborations on Discord, but despite the game being great, nobody needs it when cheaters are playing openly. So this season is actually not too much different when it comes to over all ranking of Ranked from last season.
It's a little more balanced and you should be running into people your own elo, however the only way to level up progressively and the most consistent way, is by winning full matches.
IF you win the first round of any match you should be able to keep your elo for winning that 1st preliminary round. Give it time and try squading up with your homies or meet some dorks in here to play with. I haven't deranked or notice a decline in elo/leaderboard placement from my time of playing this season and that is my advice. Best of luck to you and really focus on trying to not lose the first round THEN focus on that dub. Diamond is difficult to reach, but I wont lie Diamond 4 is a lot more reachable and is totally possible compared to Diamond 1 and all you need to do is just touch it. I am trying to get Diamond 1 and it's taking longer than a fat kid trying to climb a flight of stairs.

Why does this game have so many cheaters? I love this game but holy hell you run into a cheater almost every other game, hard aimlock shooting through shields headshots only, you'd think the game would detect a player with a 50kd and a 97% headshot acc and just auto ban them off stats alone until someone can look into it, but no these people make it all the way to high diamond without being banned. The action of leveling out quite literally has nothing to do with the actual state of the game every single game has a spike then drop especially free to play games no matter the quality of said game.

AND- We got the Easter update being on the tail end of that it's still a new event active and free items and good ones at that so that still is a seasonal update.

Though my issue is with the horrific Ranked changes and cheating issues being rampant I do think if those are not addressed this leveling out wont last and it will drop further.

So I do hope they fix both the horrific Ranked system (I won 3 final tournaments in a row with the same squad and all three capped the three arrows ^ up but never ranked me) As well as fix the cheating issues.

• Fix your bitrate your video is extremely compressed

• Your music far outweighs your audio and voice, balance those better.

• Not every transition needs to be a smooth blur, jumpcuts can be quite good and object transitions can be much better than both of those.

• Have a reason for said video, a story almost like a consistent tournament with a loss or win being shown then moving to a new match.
  A compilation of kills may seem hype to you because you remember the whole picture but the viewers are only seeing it through a keyhole.

• Give them a reason to stick around, the persons personality is why people stay for their content and keep a consistent viewer base.
  To lack that is to only be "good with the sword" and if they find another person that is better than you then they'll move on without a reason to stay.
  Bring personality to your videos and make them more coherent.

• And finally proper criticism aside use a skill melee weapon like the dagger you nerd

As someone who used to stream a fair bit, if you're gonna record to re-edit/repost, I highly recommend doing a local save rather than pulling from a stream. Bitrate compression aside, seperate audio tracks is a massive help when making a video many people don't realize. Also, you have avc1 codex which is Youtube's much less nice codex and makes things very crunchy. If you can, render at 2k, even if you only record at 1080p so you have vp codex which helps with compression

I'm trying to use a controller on pc, which is what I normally do, but for some reason using the controller essentially breaks my game, giving me visually low FPS and bad internet connection, but a soon as I do any input on mouse and keyboard my game goes back to normal (80ish fps and good internet connection).
