When i played with 2 friends on discord what worked best for us was double heavy with a medgun medium. Heavy has many tools for peeling for the medium and one single medium using either jumpad or zipline can help a lot with heavy's slow and sometime painfull pathfinding around the map

Also we almost never used flamethrower cause its dps is just laughable. Anyone who can aim can outdps you i and the only thing you can do as a heavy with flamethrower is trying your best ADsing while blinding the opponent with flames in his eyes

All right, I've been bored since the beta finished so i've been making some stuff in After Effects (mostly graphics animations), this is what i've done so far. "Replay transition (sponsored)" is 90% done, and "tournament screen the finals" is still a work in progress. Both the transition 3 clips are 99% (I accidentally made them at 1440p 3:2 instead of 16:9 cuz i miss types the width dimension, same as "Replay transition (sponsored)"). The Tournament screen by far has been the hardest to make so far, 1/3 of my time was me just trying to find a close enough font to the official one that was free and separating all the layers and with all the stuff I have planned for it its going to be at least 4x the length of all the transitions (which is why its not done yet lol), Hope ya like it! also @lyric coyote cuz you wanted to see what I was making . also sorry for the watermark but I might actually use these for jobs if my boss needs some for a gig so yea...

I have finally completed the leader board graphic. It took a while cuz the specific colour of Red The Finals use started to make my eyes hurt after 2 hours so I have to take a break for a while then resume. In reality if this was used on, lets say, on a broadcast, the leader board would prob stay up for at least 20 seconds total (not the ~8 seconds I have here) but there is no point of me having a still there for 20 seconds for a demonstration clip so that's why its shorter. I also rendered this with Frame Blending instead of Frame Sampling to, A) keep everything at a matching 60 FPS frame rate, (there were some assets that were less then 60 FPS so this makes them look they are at the sequence's framerate) and, B) mmmmm smoooooooth.
This could actually be used real time for a broadcast by just using the NDI plug-in so everything can be adjusted depended on who won ect. then just played back in After Effect (ofc the transitions would be on the streaming software side, not After Effect).
