I haven't seen anyone mention it since someone posted about the "TV charm" being dead/dark, but I've noticed the TV shows parts of an image/images on different maps. The players position on the maps seems to affect what part of the image is shown.
Haven't been able to investigate much myself so thought I'd give a shout about it.

For LV EE hunters, next time you're in and have a second, try watching the GLAMORA sign for ~20 seconds.
Couple things I think I noticed:

• Still noticed the 8-pointed star in the middle, but this time I paid attention to which letters the points of the star actually point to.
• At first, it looks like it unambiguously points at the A, M, and O in the middle of GLAMORA.
• But watching the lights flicker, you can see how the Art Deco typeface makes the "O" appear to contain both an "O" and a "D." For each of those, there are instances where the one can be on, while the other is off.
• The first "A" in GLAMORA also contains a triangle or delta that goes on and off, but at no point does it appear on to me that the triangle is clearly on while the "A" is clearly off. This is different than what you can observe with the second "A" in GLAMORA, where the triangle does appear on its own at times.
• Together, these observations may support a theory which implies that the 4 letters Rob referenced on the Twitch stream are A,** M**,** O**, and D.
• While not English, the word MODA would seem to fit the style of GLAMORA, even if GLAMORA is, itself, not a word, as far as I can tell.
• Meanwhile, the non-English word DOMA has several meanings across different languages, which might also be the relevant one for this clue.
  Low probability, but we've tried a lot of ideas, a lot of 4-letter combinations, and a lot of words, so I figured why not suggest some others.

Don't know if this constitutes a "cube" of hydrangeas, but how many Q in the cube full of Q's might simply mean count the number of hydrangeas in the pot.

I wasn't 100% sold on the clue being about the PR roses. Someone asked for a roses clue and Rob said something like "I'm more interested in the Hydra Cube," iirc. I could be misremembering, but it might have been Rob saying, leave aside the roses, there is this other clue and other direction that I think you guys should focus on.

Oh, wow, I just remembered someone's suggestion that the Q could represent Queens in chess!

But in that case, it can just represent Queens in general, including 'Queen of Hearts' hydrangeas, so counting Q's could just mean to count hydrangeas (and only in the "stickler" case, having to find those whitish hydrangeas somewhere in the game to count.

So the bloom description of the Hydrangea quercifolia (i.e., 'Queen of Hearts') is "white, aging to pink," ironically.

Going, again, to @low escarp image, perhaps one of the things we have to do is somehow increase the pH of our hydrangeas in order to turn then "rose-colored," and that's at high pH, where the soil availability of potassium and phosporus are much higher than that of nitrogen.

Rob saying "we are starting pretty basic" could be, in one sense, a reference to chemical bases and basic pH's (i.e., high pH). In fact, "pretty basic" could be read as "pretty high in pH," so not just a little basic, but very basic.

Something about it reminiscent of all the St. Valentine's stuff people figured out.

As some people have already pointed out, potassium nitrate can serve as the active ingredient in a condensed aerosol fire suppression system, as well as a constituent in homemade smoke bombs. This could suggest powder barrels (this is an idea that goes waaaaaay back).
EDIT: Potassium chloride also used to be used as a fire extinguishing agent. Known as Super-K dry chemical, it was more effective than sodium bicarbonate-based dry chemicals and was compatible with protein foam. This agent fell out of favor with the introduction of potassium bicarbonate (Purple-K) dry chemical in the late 1960s.

Just reviewing the above, I'm thinking these might be potential "ingredients":

• hydrangeas, preferably in a "cube" flower pot
• heroa, suggesting the plural of heroon, a temple dedicated to a hero, often over the hero's supposed tomb
• potassium chloride (KCl), suggesting the powder barrel ~~potassium nitrate (KNO3)... (though, with the unfortunate characteristic of containing N)
  EDIT: The fact that potassium chloride (KCl) was once used as a fire extinguishing agent has the advantage of not containing nitrogen like potassium nitrate does.

H3PO4 = heroa is quite a stretch, but if this sort of translation is the idea, then KCl might involve something similar.
KCl = 1131 = 111111 = VI? KCl = 11312 = VIII? (just to illustrate the kinds of possibilities for converting KCl to something else)

Just to try to bring in the other Rob clues that I can think of:

• Some speculation that the dude in the hidden upstairs compartment is St. Valentine in his supposed tomb
• Some speculation that Jack's beanstalk is the zipline to the roof
• Some speculation that we are the ones who have to play "the Giant" and do some kind of "fee-fi-fo-fum"
• Combining the previous two, the Giant would live "up in the clouds" on the roof of the building
• Combining the definition of heroon and the spot on the roof above the hidden upstairs compartment that possibly represents Valentine's tomb, one might build a heroon on the location above the tomb.
• Some have identified this image of a relic of St. Valentine in which St. Valentine's skull appears to be crowned with flowers.
• The flowers that we might need to "crown" St. Valentine's skull with, possibly on the roof above his head, could be hydrangeas, preferably in a cube-like flower pot, in part because of the "hydra cube" and "hydra q" clues, with the Hydrangea q. cultivar also being known as the "Queen of Hearts," a potential Valentine's Day reference
• If KCl is, in fact, something like a powder barrel or smoke grenade, then that might have to be triggered before any hydrangeas are placed, as I recall the powder barrel, at least, knocking away nearby items such as flowers.
• If KCl is, in fact, something like "VI" or "VIII," it might be a reference to V for St. Valentine, with a separate clue of "I" or "III"
• The reason we care about some of the above goes back to wanting a high pH, "pretty basic" soil in order to turn hydrangeas "rose-colored," just so we can be sure there is some kind of rose connection, at all (lol). Of course, if moving the PR roses is, in fact, part of triggering the EE, then taking them to the roof might also be a component. The one rose elevated on the bench always a possible roof connection.
  Obviously, there would still be a lot else to figure out, even IF this coincidentally was all correct.

btw - some parallels between deburring and anti-aliasing? Is it possible to interpret some aspects of the burrw.gif as aliasing? Interesting that there would be a "hi-res" version out there, perhaps suggesting that kind of image enhancement? (I'm no computer graphics expert, not by a long shot, though.)
EDIT: There is such a thing as "audio aliasing", and some audio chips appear to introduce it or help to mitigate it. Tangentially, "anti-aliasing" lends itself to a play on words related to something like this hunt, with clues akin to aliases and by anti-aliasing meaning deciphering them.

I still don't know what to do with it, but it is an interesting coincidence that the canopy over Fremont street is categorized as a "barrel vaulted canopy." Of course, if architectural vaults are limited to one of the three "vaults," it seems like we'd need a different meaning for Las Vegas. I suppose we could assume that cash room directly from the Masterplan Markup is the "vault," and we just have to figure out what to do with the room, but (a) it's not really a casino vault and (b) it seems too direct and not cryptic enough.

I had this same thought the other day, it really does seem for just about every other season they want it to be "themed" off a real life location. Honestly from here on out if we want to know the next themed map of The Finals is going to be we might as well digging for Embark Employee vaction trips at this point

TL;DR - I've become basically convinced that the Hunter S. Thompson, "See No Evil" gold nama tama is in the Glamora, and specifically near the "View Lounge" and likely featuring the gold flamingos (I counted 12 in total, a nice round dozen).
The reasoning:

• Have to start with "Masterplan Markup" as explained by @gloomy anvil
• I remain convinced that during the sandstorm, in the cash room on the "Masterplan Markup" map, and using thermal vision, you can see "SZ" or "52" written on the floor, right where the "X" is on the "Masterplan Markup" map (people have tried to dissuade me, but it will take something to do so, at this point).
• If you overlay an 8x8 grid or coordinate system on the Las Vegas "Masterplan," using the Cartesian x,y convention, (5,2) is somewhere in roughly the lower left quandrant of Glamora, and very close to the "View Lounge" (compare "See No Evil" + glasses theme).
• You can hear "Death by Rhodent" playing across the alleyway from nearby the "View Lounge," even from within the Glamora, but you never can see them.
• There appears to be grafitti on the wall on the "Death by Rhodent" side of the alley that looks like a pair of glasses above a pair of eyes (or eggs)
• "See no evil" -> "Casino Evil"
• Glamora -> Gomorrah, know for its evil
• Hunter S. Thompson -> strong associations with a morally dubious lifestyle, some would say evil
• A dozen golden flamingos would lay a dozen golden eggs and eggs come in dozens
• Outside the Glamora there is a weird sign advertising dinner at the Glamora, featuring lobster thermador, which features a sauce made from egg yolks. This is odd because the Glamora does not feature a restaurant inside as far as I can tell, the closest thing being the View Lounge.
• Outside the Glamora there is an even more bizarre sign, which appears to be a cheap advertisement for souveneirs, specifically t-shirts, glasses, and drinks (ospuze?) all for $0.99(?!).

As always, no one is obligated to consider any of this as encouragement to go on a wild goose chase (or wild flamingo chase, for that matter) in Las Vegas.

btw, I think the absurd souveneir sign says "$0.99!"... something about it, especially the "99" reminds me of the "gg" in eggs. With a stretch you can infer an "E" or a "3" from the sign to go with the "99" (or perhaps "99" -> "66")... but even without going so far, I'm not sure I see so many potential clues pointing to a gold nama tama, especially the one in sunglasses, in any other casino or at any other point on the Las Vegas map.

I don't know the "RHB flamingo" (i.e., "Rockhound Black flamingo") lore.

Speaking of black flamingos, I did try burning a pile of 12 golden flamingos, just like Gomorrah was burned to ashes, but they did not turn black, nor melt into a golden egg, as I thought they might metaphorically contain.

"See No Evil" might suggest a different kind of "black," as in darkness or death.
Sadly, it seems people have already tried a bunch of things with the flamingos more than 6 months ago.

• "Sometimes one card is all it takes to change the game" - In the description, the word "change" may indicate how the gold flamingo will change into a gold nama tama, in some sense.

Anyway, the way I remember the door, it appears as if it is in-bounds even while the wall all around it is clearly out-of-bounds. But if you try to do anything with the door, there is no way to open it.
The speculation is that if outside Death by Rhodent is where the gold nama tama is eventually triggered, it will be the door that opens to reveal it.

hmm... sry to waste ur time. Are you talking about the sign in front of glamora? I coulda sworn the lights in the letters were going on an off. I have screenshots on my other computer that I'll try to send in a bit showing what I mean.
As for the 4-letter word, as long as we're generating every 4-letter word in the dictionary, I thought again about how the simplest interpretation for the Glamora sign would be the "M" because the star is underneath it. The simplest interpretation of the Argon sign, if we're focused on stars, would be the "O." I still find it interesting that you can see two Argon signs, one in front of the casino and one in the distance on the hotel, so perhaps you get two "O's". Then, since I already considered the star on the "G" in the Lapis Grandstand sign, out of desperation, I looked closely and saw that one could argue that the bottom point of the star is actually pointing to the "r" in "Grandstand."
Yeah, it's weak, but you could get "ROOM" out of that (alternatively, "MOOR"). I could see a logic behind "room," though, as in one kind of "vault," maybe.

Won't speak for anyone else, but I think I need to be more open-minded here. I think back to when you guys and Ludo were talking with Rob and the discussion was focused on the middle of the map. Ludo was saying something about the colors of the 4 signs and how it could be connected to three of the casinos being dawns and one being a night. Rob was reacting as if you guys were sooooo close.

I'm gonna try to remember other Las Vegas clues we already have and if they point to the other casinos. I mean, perhaps it's 3 flamingos per casino, though I can't imagine hauling them around like Pietjes did without a team effort, and I think we might want to prepare and build confidence before any ambitious undertaking.
Bottom line: I have no idea, but it seems like I really should have some idea at this point.

I think you were on the right track and so was @gloomy anvil.
Note that it's called a "Casino Cage." Rob could be doing a play on words, with "cage" in the sense of what animals in captivity are kept in.
The fact that some of the cash boxes are open in the cage might symbolize how some of the animals got out of their cages and loose.
Specifically, the gold flamingos.
I still can't envision what it looks like when an EE like this is finally triggered, so I don't know what to do at the end, but I'm gonna try something like taking the 12 flamingos, one at a time, through the Eastwood along the path marked out on the "Masterplan Markup" map before setting them down in the cage room marked with an "X."
I don't know if Sandstorm is necessary or a different set of conditions entirely, but as I said above, the flamingos look kinda good standing in the sand on the floor of that room.

Any reason to think, flamingos + slot machines? Along the path on the "Masterplan Markup" map, there are slot machines that might be black (though, I initially assumed just a very dark blue). I'm still thinking of the rockhound black flamingos, if that was indeed a connected clue. Most of the slot machines along that path are "Vintage Velvet" machines. Maybe there is a clue in there that connects with "Rockhound." My initial thought was the Velvet Underground, but I imagine there could be lots more, and potentially that go better with the "hound" in "rockhound." (Elvis did "Nothing but a hound dog," right?)

I don't think I've cracked it, but had an idea to build off @dull marsh's original idea.
I think it would be good to try to match the IRL 3 dawns (nautical, etc. - I don't remember them all) if possible.
In this case, I worked backwards for the example below just to illustrate the idea.
In total, I think there are 4 decent candidates based on the same logic: RANG, SANG, NEAR, RARE.
I'm laying out the one that currently strikes me as best, which ends up being RANG (not that I know what that could signify)

• Basic idea: Night = last letter; 1st Dawn = first letter; 2nd Dawn = second letter; 3rd Dawn = third letter.
  Consider the following ordering (not quite @dull marsh's, but like I said, I tried backsolving as motivation):
• Argon - Night, Purple -> Purple Night? (Sun Ra album from 1990)
• Glamora - 1st Dawn, Blue -> Bluedawn? (Korean indie fold rock duo active in the early 2000s, though perhaps a better "Blue Dawn" reference is available)
• Eastwood - 2nd Dawn, Red -> Red Dawn? (many references but mainly the John Milius film)
• Zaraby - 3rd Dawn, Orange -> Zarya as 3 sisters representing dawn?
  Reorder the four letters (I don't think I found a combination that worked in the original order):
  RANG
  Just an idea to consider that tries to incorporate the direction and ideas that Rob confirmed.

Sorry to re-up, but I fixed this. Probably open to interpretation, but I think subconsciously I believed the colors were wrong, specifically, that Argon had to be purple (@dull marsh got this right the first time, of course). Getting Purple Night, the title of a Sun Ra album, seems much better, incidentally. Not sure the exact "Blue Dawn" reference it might be. Anyway, it still yields RANG. Haven't tried plugging some variant of that in the Level 3 page yet, but I prob will. (On the subject, wouldn't it be awesome if the page were edited so we only had to plug it in once to check, since we're just gonna try them in every open slot available?) Anyway, wondering if the capitalization is like on the signs or following typical capitalization conventions for the names of the casinos (i.e., rANG or ranG), but I'll probably try a few, though let's face it... we know what's gonna happen. 🙂

I think it always bothered me that it wasn't a word (well it kinda is), but did we ever try AGEZ (as in AGES)? The EE hunt is heavy on history, which is one "age" after another.

Trying to thread the needle between what is too simple and what is too complicated.

A simpler algorithm is just taking the first letters from the ordering above, Argon-Glamora-Eastwood-Zaraby, which would be AGEZ. Rob basically already confirmed Ludonope's idea, but maybe the order was off by a single swapping of Argon and Glamora.

I suspect we've tried AGEZ, but thought I'd ask. (Also, it does throw out a number in leet, 4632, but mostly I just want something - anything - to be right.)

This gave a really good word, imho, if one is allowed to swap the order of two letters, resulting in ALAS (compare it to "ATLAS" and "A LAS" (VEGAS?))
I tried entering "ALAS" a bunch of different ways, including trying to match capitalization according to various rules (e.g., the only lower case of those letters in the signs is the "a" in Zaraby, unless you treat the smaller capitalized letters in the middle of EASTWOOD as lowercase, then there would be two lower case letters, "a" and "s"), but none of those worked.
Feels hopeless without a little direction from Rob, but I just wanted people to see the concept in case it triggered something for somebody.

Could play around with where in the words the "sun" starts in ARGON during the night. In fact, starting at the last letter "N" and re-entering at the start of GLAMORA would yield the "RANG" idea I had previously. Gonna just list other possibilities when the "sun" starts at the R, G, and O of ARGON, and let people decide if any of the letters result in a word they find interesting.

Also gonna think about how the sun "rises in the east." Perhaps this is all that needs to be more precise.

It's possible that given the order of the rising sun, the word is actually "MOTA", which is not a real word in English, but has meaning in languages like Latin, Italian, Polish, and Spanish. Obv, the ATOM connection would be intended but the actual password could be some variation on "MOTA" if the "ATOM" idea isn't working out.

Obviously, I'm a big fan of multiple interpretations of the same clue, which can be controversial at times, but this is to say that lots of things are thought of as "queens" and lots of "queens" are thought of as other things. Similarly, with "cubes" and "cashouts." That's also why, we might hope that @white patrol's theory (see the PR roses EE thread) applies more broadly to the game and the EE hunt, as a pattern we can keep in mind.

btw - I've been trying to find more clues for Kyoto and notice a pattern between the S3 battle pass items and even the past week store updates.
maybe someone wants to look independently and see if they think the same idea is plausible.
in addition to the S3 battle pass, there's the Fruit Stand Set, the One in a Melon helmet, and the Depthkeeper watch.
I also have in mind the Kyoto "Lost Legacy" map where I've been wondering whether the "X" over the "door" of the "vault" is actually suggesting that this "vault" does not have a conventional "door."
TL;DR - The theory is that you have to break into the vault by "apeing" with a charge and slam onto something that is otherwise indestructible, presumably somewhere along or below the cliffside with the "northern" pagoda tower with the bell inside, such as the stone base of the pagoda, the stone cliffside or the ground or jump pad below, the indestructible cherry blossom (sakura) tree, other stone bases of certain buildings, etc. Also, clues could be pointing to the "Suspended Structures" variant

I've been working on the potential LV gold nama tama EE, and if you search, I posted about the gold flamingos and "rockhound black" flamingos.
There are 12 "rockhound black" (black vintage velvet) slot machines along the "Masterplan Markup" plan under some reasonable assumptions.
Slot machines can be "fed" coins.
Perhaps one really does have to set up gold flamingos along the path on the map at each "rockhound black" slot machine so they can act as if they are "feeding" the machines coins. I tried this, but I did not combine it with another idea I had to serve as the trigger, which is to drop the cashout that spawns directly above the X on the map into the cash room below and to "feed" it a cash box.
When I finally luck into that cashout spawn in a private match, I'll try out the whole theory. Anyone else is welcome to give it a go, as well, ofc, but I can't reimburse anyone for any wasted time. 🙂

I've had my eye on that "indestructible" tree at the edge of the map on Kyoto near where that location might be on the Kyoto "Lost Legacy" map (the base of the cliffside and "northern" pagoda tower)

Also, that weapon skin with the "home sweet home" amongst the trees? Perhaps a clue that the "vault", the home of the treasure, is "within the trees."

That skin also shows the two mountains marked W and N and the N one might be the more prominent (see also the heart to the far right of the skin, the heart of a tree?)
I think other people were drawing a strong association between Kyoto and wood long before I did. The weapon skin is carved out of wood, as well.

It would be cool if there were conditions where you could see nearby trees or branches swaying, while the indestructible tree does not.

Anyway, these are some of the ingredients that I think might be involved and for which we might have clues for.

Other interesting items that might be interpretable in this context:

Okay, this image bothered me a bit, cuz it was also from the Las Vegas map, right?
Then the fact that I really thought Death by Rhodent would be in the Las Vegas EE, for several reasons, but including the fact that we can't see the band (= "See No Evil")
Then the fact that I was destroying trash dumpsters because I thought they were like "vaults" and because they "hid trash" (= "See No Evil")
Then the fact that there are 12 gold flamingos, not 5 like the "101" cashout "Feed Me!" tatoo suggests there should be.
Then the fact that the flamingos don't really look like the roses, candles, or (hopefully) Kyoto "cutting sticks," even if they have long necks and a head.
Again, this is all based on the @low escarp and @white patrol ideas I've been following lately.
So, I suddenly remembered something odd about when I was trying to set up the gold flamingos to listen to Death by Rhodent in the alley.
There were those posts (or "stanchions," apparently) that are used to hold velvet ropes and things like that to mark off lines or areas and happen to look a lot more like a rose or candle.
I'm betting the next time I go into the Las Vegas map, there will be 5 posts out in front of the entrance to the Death by Rhodent performance, which will be 'grabbable' props.

Tl;DR - I'm thinking that the 12 flamingos and the 5 posts might be two separate EEs, just like we have two Las Vegas cash box + cashout images, per Pietjes post.

It's even possible that there's a 5 flamingos + 5 posts EE that goes with the Death by Rhodent alley and an EE that goes with the Eastwood "Masterplan Markup" map that might be limited to the other 7 flamingos, instead of all 12 (e.g., it might be for 7 banks of slot machines, rather than 12 individual slot machines).

Pls let me know if any of this triggers any ideas about related Las Vegas clues or connections. Always much appreciated.
