not sure if this helps but underneath the practice arena there’s a giant multi-floored black box that seems like it could be hiding something. I’ve never seen any map in any game have anything like this before, it doesn’t make any sense for it to be used as a floor in case people got underneath bc it extends so far down

there are already multiple levels / floors under the map but this black box is nothing like those

I don't have footage (sorry) but I did spend a gross amount of time trying to get in there, particularly climbing down with goo and trying to glitch through the bottom, but with no luck..

Its pure speculation but it feels reminiscent to a debug room. But then again it could also be nothing.

There are so many assets oob on various maps that could simply be deleted but arent, there is a distant set of bushes, glitch effects and all sorts in the training grounds. Monaco has a few weird geometries (in the tutorial version), and it also has multiple player instances in one world... you can often hear other players shooting in the distance from where you spawn

According to Rob, whatever Easter egg was tied to the cannons/recon vision (we speculated both are involved after the fact, as the cannons remain but recon senses was removed. We’re unsure if the EE being removed was it literally being removed or if recon senses being removed caused the EE to become undoable) should return in like 2-3 seasons (hopefully, if he feels like it lol. He didn’t really give a concrete time, just a maybe)

The difference is, you are never intended to see other players in the training ground, the reason their areas are unloaded is most likely due to performance and the fact their areas will never be "re" loaded ever for you. There are plenty of videos where people managed to get to other players training grounds and it doesn't load even when you stand there, just collision. Why force the player to render 10s other players areas that aren't theirs? It would tank performance.

As to why the cube is not unloaded (assuming it does contain something important), is most likely because the effort and time of unloading/ loading it mid session is out weight by just always having it loaded when you first enter. They may have needed to put players through another loading screen to hide a lag spike if it was

its common practice in games to hide already loaded things out of sight of the player, until it is needed. It makes it seamless once its needed to be teleported in place.... again assuming it is anything

Reminds me of the Black Knight's helm from Monty Python almost (minus the mouth slits)... we dont know if the cannons do anything EE related anymore, there was a EE with the cannons and recon sense, but since recon sense doesnt exist anymore we cant do it as far as we know

just as a side note for everyone invloved with the 3 headed monkey. Rob mentioned that TOD has something to do with finding it. In MI1 the time always stays at 10pm for the first part of the game "The Three Trials". The monkey only appears end part 2 or Start Part 3 if I remember correctly.

that's the problem I'm on rn. Before you get to Part 2, Guybrush Threepwood (the player) passes out for an unknown amount of time. By the time you find the monkey on the island it's daytime. When you go back to defeat LeChuck roght after finding the monkey when you go back to the starter island it's back to night time. I'm trying to figure out what time it is when you get back to the island for the last time

I have an interesting idea which is that piracy has been a theme in the clues and might be linking the two current EEs

• 3-Headed Monkey is about Guy Threepwood, a pirate

• White Rabbits are leading us somewhere just like in the Matrix, Neo beeing a hacker and "pirating" the Matrix

• CNS is a group of hackers/pirates and it's a big theme of S2

• Old demoscene, Amiga, C64, and all these references also link to the hacker culture which links back to piracy
