I can't say I see those letters you're seeing, are you able to circle them? (edit, I may see them, very faintly. If you have a timestamp for where you were looking, I can check there myself too)

My investigation of the audio yielded no clear results, manipulating it doesn't help much either, too much vocal processing occurring and it would take far too much meticulous editing to adjust for each shift in the audio with no clear indications that it'd yield results, that's beyond the scope of work for your average EE hunter, and while Rob does get intricate with his stuff, this crosses the line into meticulously tedious while requiring proper knowledge and skill of audio manipulation.
Secondarily, I am unsure what file format they've gone with for the SFX in the game. I'd imagine 16bit wav, potentially 44.1kHz. But without knowing for certain, there's no guarantee anything hidden in the audio would even survive the compiling of the game into an executable. I feel like audio is maybe the one thing we'd have to receive direct files of in order to investigate for clues in the files, rather than just listening on the map itself.

However, that said, I'll try to capture some direct audio clips myself as well. It's hard working with audio that's been compressed via upload in a video. I can record directly to my DAW via loopback on my interface and investigate from there

I think this is sound reasoning to call those distorted audio clips (note: not the usual scotty announcements with slight glitches, this is referring to the unintelligible sounds heard on the outer walls of horizon maps) just an in-game thing unrelated to EE

But as it stands, beyond checking them out with less compressed audio, I don't think digging much further into them right now is a good use of resources

We now know there was a EE in season 1, which unlocked a legendary charm,

Rob will personally send an Embark mouse pad to the first one who finds a three headed monkey.

There’s only 3 songs that could have something in them, and after extensive dissecting, they don’t have anything that doesn’t line up with the tonal content of the song
