At around 18 seconds (near the end of the original Gamescom trailer) you hear what sounds like frogs chirping - it almost sounds like a Louisiana swamp-kinda sound.

probably still marble - it can come in various colours. Limestone can be made into large cubic blocks, like for building, but it tends to break or crumble when it's very small because it's not as strong and more porous than marble

Because it's a dirty marble it might not be used for construction - so maybe you won't find it as a "type" or named brand sort of thing. From a geology point of view, marble is marble.

and again, I dont think its marble. it doesnt have the same polish or sheen, and the patterns arent quite right for marble, more grainy

I don't necessarily think that it is different isn't important. All I'm saying is that good quality marble from Italy for instance, will be given names so people can order it for then kitchen counters etc, but from a geology point of view they don't all have names (unless there are geological differences between them). So marble from New Zealand where I am isn't construction grade, so it's just marble.

If it's limestone - and it does look like that to me, then the orange colour is from iron staining from groundwater. Small cubes of limestone are hard to make though. But I'd probably just assume that they Embark art team didn't worry about that. So, I'd go with limestone anyway.

We think they chose to tease the Seoul map before it was complete, so that's probably what the shopping mall looked like at that stage of development
