I have to play the easier difficulties if I'm soloing HD2 because for harder ones, they're more likely to be balanced against 4 players than 1. Might try to see if I can complete missions and extract on a higher difficulty though

no. thats one of the gamebreaking bugs we encountered. the first time you play a new difficulty the game spams you with the hardest enemies possible and makes you lose. no fucking idea why. but after that you play easier versions of it without the weird bugs. trust me.

Granted, Planetside 2 feels more like Squad and Battlefield (came out around Battlefield 3's time). HD2 to me feels a bit more vaguely like PUBG and Tarkov but more cinematic than realistic, and entirely pve.

it gets pretty nasty very fast if you cant do anything about it. its easy to deal with if you have a ton of removal. each of those nazguls i have i can have 9 in a deck. every time a ring tempts you effect takes place, they grow in power and defense. so i have all 9 in my deck with a bunch of bounce and blink spells and a planeswalker that lets me bounce them even more. each nazgul has a "the ring tempts" you condition on the card so they self power each other.
