I've been playing CS since 2015. I was pretty crazy about it for some 4-5 years, but eventually got bored of it.

In CS, there are weekly drops, and you can usually earn a case. So, I've been collecting these cases for over a decade, and now they're worth over 500 bucks. It's cool, because you don't usually earn money from "wasting" your time in games.

Still, I plan on burning 400 bucks to open them, just so the boys get entertained 🥲 It's gambling, which I'm firmly against, but I'm treating it as literally losing 400 bucks... but I'm most likely losing close to 900 becuase of the value of the cases.

I don't want to sell because the money wouldn't mean a lot to me, while opening them is something I've been wanting to do for quite a while now. I just need to earn some easy money, and then I'll waste it.

I was in the closed testing, and really didn't enjoy it. I've even heard fans of the OG Marathon saying that the game is a far cry from the feel/style of the original. I just feel like Sony is grasping at straws right now, trying to force their way into a genre half-heartedly.

Not even entirely related, but that whole "there's no prox chat because of toxic behavior" thing with them, playing the nanny state yet again really rubbed me the wrong way, even though they went on to add it in. We'll see how it goes, but it wasn't my cup of tea. In-general I've been shying away from a lot of Sony's first party games as of late. The Sony of the PS5 era just feels so far removed from the Sony of the PS4 era.

There are many people in the Arc Raiders discord with little to no explanation of their 30-day ban from “cheating”.

I myself received a ban and have had very little luck with an explanation. We all know it’s the same AI response from support… over, and over again.

We all paid money for this game and if we spent real currency on this product, we deserve support in return from whatever, or whoever it is we purchased this game for or from.
