i’m asleep but Goverlay for mango hud should allow you to enable system wide v sync (tearing)kinda like nvidia settings would. linux requires a lot of tweaking but when it works with games it feels really good.

you should always use game's builtin vsync or frame limiter unless they are known for having issue; external fps limiter can cause unexpected results (used to have mangohud fps limit enabled for another ue5 game and it freezes a lot until I edited its config file-it doesn't expose fps limit in in-game settings but it's there in GameUserConfig.ini)

I will say, despite the fact that I hate paying for PSN access, which used to be free, the 3 free games each month have been a nice bonus. It's pretty similar to Bandcamp, and usually that's my 1-2 combo, if there's the rare case that Qobuz doesn't have what I'm looking for. It used to be Qobuz, Bandcamp, and 7Digital for FLAC, but I haven't bought from 7Digital in YEARS. But when you purchase from Qobuz, as opposed to Bandcamp, Qobuz actually let's you choose CD quality, or higher if the items support it.

Unless Bandcamp just defaults to the highest bit-rate/quality, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

The Focal Elex are pretty insane, for a good bit cheaper. They punch WAY above their weight class. Though for gaming I'll always go with the Sennheiser PC38X's. So after we went from mono audio to stereo, basically what we are doing all this time is trying to simulate a virtual space with two channels, left and right. And then dolby atmos came along which simulates a 3D space where you can actually place sounds where ever you want within the space, so theoratically it is a more advanced mix, but because we are so used to listening to stereo and alot of tracks are not implemented well, its not always great.
