Yeah, it just looked goofy to me, especially with games like The Finals in the same arena. I remember seeing the trailer reveal and thinking "They can't be serious. No one asked for this." It's like.. nothing looked at all special to me. (To your point, yeah, no meat on it.)

It's KINDA mathematically impossible unless you're able to land like... 3-4 tourney wins per day, everyday I think. It was kind of freeing for me. When I saw the initial 75, I knew it would be a frustrating grind, so I just set my sights on E4 or E3. No way I was hitting E1, especially since one of the guys on our team often disconnects, which leads to a ton of wasted time. It really did surprise me that they ditched the points system, which meant you could still progress, even with inconsistent teammates.
