Read above. Rather hilariously, EAC actually works fine as it stands. It's an internal anti-cheating function that's currently causing the hold ups, at least on the Experimental build.
"Memory Access Violation" is the current error I experience, at least. I run the game remotely via Moonlight to sidestep this.

I have been returning to infinite quite a lot recently, don’t know if it’s because the fps market is lacking or what, but nonetheless i have been kinda enjoying it

It's alr but I dislike the sbmm because it forces you to carry in lobbies where your ping sucks because it balences teams by giving you shit players and you're the carry and the other team gets a pretty even spread of skill so it makes things not social (and your social matches count towards your sbmm stat including bot matches)

sbmm was always there but not as strict and boring like the past 3 years, and the weird thing is, games that came out quite a long time ago like TF2 had very good sbmm and it just suddenly changed to something unbearable recently

maybe the decline in playercount plays a role, but it still feels way more strict

Yeah it's because the new ones are actually for engagement not skill lol they push you into harder and harder lobbies until youre about to quit and then throw you a piss easy one. Cod and halo both do it
