I know this seems very random but I feel like I need some outside thoughts, so I am thinking of switching career paths. Animation is currently not working out well for me, I am not understanding everything well and even grasping some of the concepts, more over I am not really having fun. Like I get pangs in my heart about sending work for people to critique and as usual I am "not listening to feedback" when I feel like I am. And even then when feedback is added it just, its a whole mess. 3D Animation was something I was striving for cause it felt cool to do and animations always looked nice and I thought I had a knack for it. But lately it has led a big shift and spiral down and down. I'm thinking of quitting this and going for game/character concept art, a thing I have been looking, watching, and studying for awhile now, even over my usual studies of animation. I wanted to try animation first before doing this cause it seemed more viable, idk. Thoughts?

duolingo teaches zero grammar, only way you can learn it there is by figuring things out on your own

great for starting a language but I wouldn't say it's that useful in the long run
