been a staple for light for a while now. Idk when these three were ever irrelevant. Light has some options for weaponry too nowadays. M11, XP, ARN and LH1 come to mind. There are some cases where you might swap some gadgets around maybe put in breach charge but that largely depends on your team. You can have pretty good success with running that in most games. Vanish seems to be a popular choice for survival too

Ideally you would not have to dash in the middle of a fight. You would use it to take fights from different angles or to escape through places where an enemy might not be able to reach. Using all 3 dashes to kill on guy leaves you quite vulnerable usually. You could make it work but idk if that is the best idea. But to answer your original question, whatever throws the enemies aim off is where you should dash to. Side to side kinda works but is also fairly predictable

depends on the enemies POV really, if you are both looking at each other, dashing diagonally and kinda towards them theoretically means they (and you) have to turn your mouse the furthest distance, but further away its better to dash side to side while jumping.

I don't really do cashout much so I have had my fair share of running off meta picks. Breach charge has been a favourite of mine for the longest time. Idk if I would replace glitch with it though. Depends on the enemy teams. If the have heavies with dome or a guy with reshaper you might be at a disadvantage with breach

That works too. I personally would just not use dash at all unless necessary. Run and gun sort of. You can take advantage of your fast speed and health regen to your advantage. The spec just compliments that. Also I wish I could give you more tips for dash but I play grapple light so this is the best I got

Its trajectory changes based on what movement key you press while using it, going backwards generally gives the furthest distance as it slingshots you, but going forwards launches you directly at where you grapple. Additionally you can jump mid-grapple to cancel it at any time, letting you use it as a more powerful evasive dash without multiple uses when the need is there

It's primarily a tool used to engage and quickly disengage from fights. You can cover large distances by cancel the grapple with a jump and then bunny hopping and sliding. Great for moving cashboxes or getting a revive statue into a safe space. Using it more offensively is hard to describe. You will have to learn it with time and practice. Grapple did get a cooldown reduction this season so it might be a good time to give it a shot. One thing of note is that now grapple will cancel reloads and other actions when you grapple so make sure to redo the reload after the grapple connects with a surface. That's all I got in me to type out rn. Good luck with. Grapple is and always has been my preferred way to play light. It is just fun even if it might not be the most viable in high rank

Meanwhile, for attackers cooperating is not required anymore, just reviving and waiting for respawns grants you a win in 90% of cases. Extremely easy to overwhelm defense even with most helpless team as long as 2-3 people reviving everyone.
