I’m not saying AI can’t be used as a tool, specifically in the process of conceptualizing an idea to then turn around and actually make yourself (though even then I wouldn’t do that) but to fully embrace AI isn’t “embracing the future” of art. It’s killing art. It has zero soul. A prompt is not art. It’s just a way for businesses and corporations who already have plenty of money, to find another reason not to hire a genuine artist so they can further cut costs. If you like writing so much, perhaps consider writing a book. At least then that would be genuine art.

Part of that is true, but its not the whole picture. I understand that its your point of view. For me it is an extension of my design tools. The generations I made here were a quick and dirty ai generation which I would never do for my own job. Then again it seems as if you're saying that I claimed to have made the pictures myself which isnt the case. I was very clear in the fact that I used AI. Unless you meant it in a more general sense.

The fact that you love to use the traditional means is completely fine. All the more power to you. My problem is more with the moral highground stance.

Its not only corporations that have enough money that get better from it. Again very narrow. Small corporations can create higher value products now aswel. As long as you know how to use it correctly. And yes, keeping in mind that it used enormous amounts of computing power, water and is trained on various sources. Claiming authorship on ai generated content is indeed incorrect.

The main source of use for using ai in my personal work is quite rudementary (cutting out pictures) 😅

I think part of the problem is you said “using AI is the future, denying that is falling behind” and “this was a fun exercise” after saying you use ai a ton in your job. Which gave the impression that you’ve been hired to create things, but instead you’re just generating things with ai. Denying AI isn’t falling behind. Just because a lot of people do it, and billionaires are pushing for the advancement of it because it fills their pocketbooks, doesn’t mean it has to be the future of art. Heck it’s not art. It’s a way for people who lack the time or skill, or the care, to do something by hand. And I’m not trying to be rude by saying that. It’s just the frank reality. The people use generative AI do so because they are too lazy, or don’t think they are capable of doing it themselves, or view it as a way to efficiently get to their end goal without having to slave away for hours creating something. (Or pay someone to slave away for hours on creating something) either way, advocating for embracing generative AI is basically advocating for a lot of artists to lose their jobs or job opportunities. I’m an artist myself. I paint, do photography, sculpture, you name it. The reason there is value in my work, is because I made it with my own two hands, I conceptualized it, I made an intentional decision on what medium I wanted to form this idea in. The knowledge on color theory, on contrast, on composition. It’s the fact that it was made by me that gives my art value. Not how pretty it looks. Though it doesn’t look bad lol 😅

Repost for the sake of moving on with drip. I posted this in a collection of a bunch of my outfits a couple weeks ago. But these guys are my fisherman outfits. Captain, casual, and rough weather. I use the Ice P90 with them, with the fishing boat charm from the shark dude bundle, and the radar sticker from the season with valkaryie

The main issue is people that lack the knowledge of an artist will get generic results and won't know it. So an actual artist, using ai to do stuff that isnt in his own skillset, but complement its own work is fine as long as its being done honest. Knowledge of color, composition and quality is still on effect when using it. But that being said, ill refrain from using it the way I did here as most people seem to have a bad taste of it. Maybe in the future ill show how it can be used while still maintaining integrity. For now, Little White is right that this channel is not the place. If anyone wants to discuss it more, my dms are open 😉

Its fairly slow. You get roughly 1 point per match. Most cosmetics in the battle pass are 6 to 12 (good ones). You have to unlock every level aswel

The current bp can be level relatively quick if you play well and play often. If you buy ultimate pass, a MVP can get you like 3 levels up and mission including club can give exp toward the bp. Also at the end of the season usually 2-3 weeks left, there will be 2x xp to grind quick

In case of legacy pass, the leveling can be a grind and a drag as it count on how long you spent in a macth (recommend playing world tour as it count as three matchs and can give out more token), it took me roughly a month and a half to get all I want (Not everything in the pass just enough) from a legacy pass

I did manage to get bonus page last season even while I stuck in uni (can barely play 3 days a week) so I think you will manage it

From my own experience as someone who grind all legacy bp from ss1-5. A quick cash if last to roughly the third box can get you 1 token. A cashout (world tour) if play well up to the finals and last til the third box can get 3 token, if get to the semi finals usually grarantee 1 token, 2 if the semi get into overtime. The highest I ever got qas 4 tokens from a damn long powershift, I don't remember the time but it was evening when I enter the match and night by the time I leave the desk

One time I got 7 after one game. Couldnt believe it. Dont know why tho. I felt that if you had 0 that you get a boost for the first one. But that isnt true cuz I tested that multiple times.

Ive been trying to get season 2 for two and a half week now, playing every day. And im on the 8th page right now. Im not particularly good at the game tho. Keep getting matched with people 5x my level considering that it gets harder to level up the farther you progress they must have so much more experience it feels a bit unfair.

The moment I get matched with my own level I perform a lot better. I dont know the maps yet.. only map I know now is the new map because I can consistently match up for that one. But I still suck tho. Hence my name. I whiff it up a lot. Love the game tho.
