They prolly didn't feel like updating it. Every update old things break, and the updated destruction guns errything... It's too much maintenance for little playerbase, better to focus on making the newer thing good (dynamic destruction on every map).

yeah but the way you deal with the weapons that people are running are with gadgets, it also removes some skill-based aspects in terms of gadget timing and placement as well

Turret also needs a buff but if you wanna use turret and CL-40 just go to powershift and make it your mission to tilt the enemy team so much that they play worse, and by extension, your off-meta picks do better.
