That's your opinion, but I believe wholeheartling different.

The Finals would have been a big splash in the search and destroy game genre.

Fast paced movement, with aim unlike the other games out at the time. The removal of a hero-based loadouts, with enviromental destruction and true freedom of choice would have taken a lot of people, people would have really enjoyed it. There's a reason CS and Valorant are so popular, the gamemode works. It's also popular in Call of Duty. There's a very wide net of people that have interest in it, but the one thing people that dislike those games hate is typically how slow the movement and gunplay feels, but The Finals is different, and allows for something unique in the space.

I'd like the gameshow aspect to be brought forward more again, I feel like the game lacks things that make you realize its a gameshow atm, like why not have merged maps, more unique map conditions, things that wouldnt make sense irl but make sense in finals Since its a gameshow duhh like snowy Vegas or Monaco sandstorm, idk a pitch black sky on seoul with a giant black hole above, theres so many crazy and beautifull things that could be in this game but just aren't

Imagine a "Bonanza" mode where 4 teams play normally but after the first two cashouts they all fall out of the sky on a new map with new objectives already spawns.
Ig that would cause timing issues, because starting a cashout late means everyone will dogpile on you while they wait for Stage 2
I think a 3 round mode like this would really feel like a gameshow event

That team had incredible support from the game. Ambushing them? Sorry, there's a vase, can't help my team for five seconds. Fighting in a smoking ruin? They're purple, hard to see even the outlines. haha right? a few of the actors were just so over it. i hated how the entire season was just a repeat of the same conflicts - they break into groups, lose contact, then have to reconnect.. and they repeated this like 3 times. It was like dude.. the entire time you guys were training, you didn't practice team synergy/coordination at all? lmao

Yeah I felt like the only good Steve/Dustin moment was when they were in the stairwell. But overall that whole plotline was just ultra mid. Nancy Jonathan was a similar idea but done much better
