I was going to the store yesterday and got an idea for ARC Raiders: "if we have Raider Hatches, why don't we have Loot Hatches?"

in a nutshell: you get a Loot Hatch Key, you find a Loot Hatch, you activate it, a capsule that can store about half your backpack appears, you slot in your loot, and you press a button to send your loot down underground, that you then claim after the match ends, either getting knocked or you extract, from a parcel locker type of thing, so you can get your valuable loot safe before you get safe yourself

if that would be too overpowered and "too safe", the Loot Hatch key you have could be an item that others can loot when you fall, and it could NOT be placed in a safe pocket; this way if someone picks you out, you lose your capsuled gear, and the enemy can get a jackpot

the dash is in a locked animation and goes a set distance
you can shoot them while they are locked into the dash

Playing with and against dash for a pretty long while, I've come to the opinion that it's a skill issue. sure it's annoying when people don't use dash until they disengage, but if you're not using your spec until you need to, that's still strategy. rather than using all your dashes to go in and then die since you have no escape tools.
