Wheel was "born for" suck MB from everyone, by RNG. It has horrible chance to complete without spending MB, and tickets needed to fully complete was almosyt 60~70, which is way more than you can get. So it's very common that missing few item even if when you get ticket every day without missing once. I think, this change is better and nice since you can actually get a full reward without any RNG. This is kinda absurd because whole purpose of the wheel is now gone and we can actually grab reward without being different price. This is great change, I don't see any reason to against this since game need to be played from first place. "Can't get free reward when I'm not even playing" is just dumb take.

i will say, that mode, as fucking atrocious as it was...got me back into quake (for about a week)

Uh....no it;s not kind of that. That is LTM event and this is roullette(is this right?) event. It was...like you play 3 daily everyday to earn ticket, and you can roll ticket to get 1 of item in list of 20. You could get 40~ish ticket, and....the problem is you need almost 70~ish ticket to fully finish as average. So only few lucky people can earn the completion reward freely, and people who unlucky need to pay MB a bit to complete the wheel. There is 2 problems here, 1) You can't complete it even if you attend everyday and earn ticket without missing(almost 90% chance for calculation for missing item), and 2) Everyone pays different amount because of rng. There were issue, and now At least if you play every day then your reward is completely free without any RNG. It's not same with circuit based event reward like heaven or hell.

I mostly use it for suppression and support fire rather than taking duels. It's large clip size kinda lets me zone with it better than the other ARs
