first off, sorry people are intentionally being dense and obtuse. I get what you mean and I agree, there should be an option.

But me personally, I like this as a mechanic. I think it's cool when lighting systems in games play a role in how combat goes. I like when there's bright areas that catch your eye, dark areas and obscure corners and alleys to hide in, and the consequences and benefits of dynamically moving through them. One time I was in a house on Bernal, and out the door was a bunch of fire barrels burning, and the light they gave off was immensely blinding, and prompted me to approach from a different exit because I couldn't see what was going on out there.

I like that. I also would like if more dark maps would be added and make more use of the lighting system, to stage fights where the lights are and to sneak away into the darkness. Currently, the night maps just feel like daytime but blue. I want some moodier lighting, and more visual contrast between those areas and the lit up ones. That's just me tho, I just think the dynamic lighting is awesome.

that is the case with UE5's new techniques but the issue is that developers have to go out of their way to disable exposure settings so that it doesn't look too dark or too bright which was much easier to do in both ue4 and 3, and was much easier to develop an enable/disable toggle in an options menu for users

neither of those are going to do anything, a recoil buff with how easy to control it already is won't change anything and an ammo buff isn't going to affect ttks at all, what it needs is to have its hipfire accuracy increased with faster rate of fire but worse range because it's meant to be an easy weapon to pick up for newbies and newbies tend to prefer hipfiring, this way also it would be better than either fcar or famas in close range so there'd be a reason to pick it over the other 2 which there simply isn't currently

when you're chasing someone in this map during daytime, they can enter a building, and get outside, and they'll basically have free flashbang over your vision until you exit the building too, without using any gadgets.

By the way when you're outside, the person outside can clearly see the person inside regardless of distance, while you can't see sht until you go outside.
