A good sword that hits his quick melee every time will be miles better than the average sword

These are just the strongest items that would give you the biggest competitive edge if you were to use them at their full potential.
What you like or perform best with does not have anything to do with what "the meta of a game" is.

1. K/D ratios are pointless if you're not having fun.
2. Making fun of someone for having a bad K/D ratio only makes you look like a clown.
3. Shut the fuck up about nerfs and buffs. If you didn't play Season 1 (looking at you Season 5 nerf beggar newgens) you should have second opinion.
