after the exhausting task of showering for the first time since the finals open beta dropped, i dragged myself to work. some guy pulled up to the counter and said he wanted to "order." i was confused. then it hit me. cashout. now as a true finals player i know every gun must come with a nerf like how the arn is a pea shooter. so i gave him the blind one. i grabbed the nearest happy meal toy and jabbed his eyes out. he started screaming like he didnt know how the drop mechanic works. bronze behavior.
he pulled out his phone and dialed 911. probably his squad code. seconds later three guys in blue stormed in, calling themselves “the police.” they all ran the same build — revolvers and bulletproof vests. zero originality. must’ve watched the same tier list. i reached for my flamethrower. nothing. i looked down. nothing in my loadout. must be a bug. high ping moment. i didn’t spec into fists so it was looking grim.
but then. then i remembered. i had pyro grenades. bonus damage while on fire. so i did the logical thing. head first into the deep fryer. now he was burning, and i was strong. bullets flying, fryer oil boiling, i ran straight at them. one caught a full-body flame tackle and got sent into the napkin dispenser. my hp was flashing but i had fast food regen. chomped down on a cheeseburger mid-fight and healed 50 instantly.
i gripped one while the others reloaded and suddenly they all hesitated. one of them threw up. actual permafresh behavior. peak mental collapse. they weren’t ready. i am finals. i am the finals. and when the servers come back up?
