Cap-level dungeons are implemented during post-expansion content and are made assuming you are already at max level, and thus give absolutely shit for experience.

How does standard step exactly work
The colors themselves aren't important, no, it's basically just a minigame. The correct number of steps you hit is important, giving you sharply increasing damage the more correct steps you press.
But you also don't break the chain by pressing the wrong one. All you'll lose by hitting the wrong color in the sequence is time you could be DPSing.

Or just keep running and trust that the party members will bring the enemy within range of your AoE once you've stopped

you can use fire 3 for movement and to extend fire phase if you mess up
after level 60 when you learn fire 4, that's what you should be doing
before level 60, you just use fire 3 procs as you get them since all the fire 1s can generate another f3p
and at endgame optimization you use fire 3 procs with transpose for extra damage

Starting in HW, you unlock flying by zone. One by one. You have to collect green orbs in the field and do some sidequests to unlock flight. You'll be given a compass shortly after the opening chapter which lets you begin unlocking.

yeah they just give quest triggered nodes with "smoky" or some other adjective on existing items or items that have no other purpose but for the quest. and are untradeable XD they mustve caught on to people buying through the quests otherwise
