@spring lintel the #1 thing you can do to increase your chances is to get a static group that sticks together until you kill it. If you are doin it for an hour or two and then trying again with a new group every time your odds of success go WAY down

turns out i can just look at the marketboard and it'll basically show me my current BiS

Just remember to use a new save when you do

so crafting breaks down into two main stats, craftsmanship and control

Craftsmanship impacts how you progress in the craft, so the top bar, and the more craftsmanship you have the quicker/more likely you are to finish.

Control impacts the quality, or bottom bar, so the more of that you have the more likely you are to get a HQ item.

In terms of gear, the primary/secondary tool are your best for stats, followed by the chestpiece, as these give Craftsmanship and Control.

The hat, gloves, belt (ew) and boots will prioritise one or the other, so get those afterwards for that extra edge

Then accessories give you CP, which helps with abilities
