For my two computer engineer cents: this game is still super single core focused despite all the work they've done, and while it's gotten better, the ps5 is based on what is essentially zen2 which doesn't have the best single core but it's certainly not the worst either

How do I unlock my job?

To unlock your class' job you need to be level 30, complete all of your class quests and the main scenario quest 'Sylph Management' (lvl 20 quest) to be able to pick up your job unlock quest. Once you've done the initial unlock quest, you will be given a soul crystal which you must equip to become your class' job.
