@forest bronze Yeah it's a level 15 Main Scenario quest to move between cities, when you switch you'll indeed be lvl 1 but getting back to 10-15 shouldn't be too hard if you do your class quests and clear your hunting log maybe.

@lethal mist One way to do this is to use a macro that basically copies a hotbar onto an other and make use of a class hotbars you have unlocked the job for. For instance on my Gladiator I have my hotbar filled with the gearsets buttons and my Paladin has the actual skills.
The main command you'll be using will be something like /hotbar copy PLD 1 share 10 as well as /hotbar display 10 on (or off), it's a bit annoying to prepare but worth it. Also you'd definitely find more proper guides online.

As far as I can tell it sets your stats to just straight 430 with pre determined substats, as long as there's a piece of gear in the slot. If you want a faster GCD you have to get Haste from the Augmented Resistance Gear

The main thing that sells FFXIV for me is simply the ease of it all. The biggest thing is that you can make EVERY job on one single character, basically nothing is missable (bar events ofc) and it's extremely user friendly. I myself don't even like MMOs so much but I'm a FF veteran and really wanted to get into it. So glad it's easy to single player this game. That's another thing; you don't have to rely on the multiplayer part as much as some other MMO's might.

no, rebind caps lock to be a unique key that isn't alt/shift/ctrl
and current solution seems to be have to use alt because ctrl is already present in too many accessible binds
so there would be 2 ways of pressing alt essentially
