Hi, hoping to find assistance from anyone who has experience in GPU.
Currently using a MSI GTX 970. Comparing with scores from benchmarks posted by others, I should be running 1080p on high settings comfortably. However, I have been getting around 40fps in duties, and barely hitting above 70 in non-town areas. It makes it really hard to not die in busier raids, especially when the frame dips below 30.
So far I have done:
- Minor overclocking of GPU
- Wiping gpu drivers and installing again
- Monitor GPU temps and usage (100%, but no throttling at ~70c, with core clock stable at 1450mhz
- Accepted fate
For reference, my CPU is Ryzen 3600, with ~15-20% load and relatively stable temps of 65-70. My monitor is BenQ EX2710.
Running Endwalker benchmark gives me a score of 5000+, which kinda pales in comparison to people who had similiar gpu and cpu on the Reddit benchmarking megathread. (~10-12k range)

I didnt really did a duty on standard desktop settings, but the fps was more stable in general rather than higher. I did ensure that the fps limit is at 144, same as my refresh rate.

From a gaming perspective? Streaming isn't replacing a dedicated GPU anytime soon except for very casual games that aren't latency dependent at all
