So I see this yellow circle on the map, I go there and start fighting a Nimrod guy. After I take off a bit of his HP, he disappears and I move around a bit in the circle and now Im fighting the "Vadagar Stag" with its health bar greyed out so im assuming im not dealing enough dmg. yes, the circle is the quest area. You got unlucky and got a vadagar stag spawn during night. If you search that area you'll hear the squick of the happy little rat, you can also use soulmode to "highligh" it and continue the quest from there

yes it's multiplayer coop like Warframe, there's no social hubs yet though aside from the eternium gardens.

you can invite anyone by typing their name after clicking the + button at the upper left corner of your map. max squad size is 3.

Sitting in this part of the "Dungeon" and got this gate to open but theres nothing behind. I suspect theres maybe a staircase below but i cant find the trigger for it. I ran the cave up and down

Step 1: break a floor wooden board in the lower level, step on the pressure plate.
Step 2: Find a lever in the upper level and pull it.
Step 3: Find a sarcophagus that moves in the ground floor (generally the central one), and step in the pressure plate.
Step 4: go in the back and jump on the platform that has risen there, enter the small crypt and loot it.

I did step 1-3 and i suppose step 4 is this one?(pic 1) It just confuses me that, when i did step 3, theres a gate which opened at the side aswell (marked it at the 2nd pic) which doesnt seem to have any purpose

it is a common glitch, sometimes the enemy doesn't drop the key needed. Sometimes a relog fixes it, but no promises. Also make sure to pay attention for Orengall to attack anyone, they could end up being the enemy that drops the key!

you need to rise defenses, although damage spikes are something we need to take into account and register if there are outliers if they have overtuned them (...like the big spider that I am pretty sure they know already)

1. Armor sets: The most logical way. Your sets have defense stats, try getting one of the Omen Beast related ones or, what I recommend, from the Mendicant King and Thrice Knotted mockery

2. Totems: Rat and Duck on defensive slots will grant you with more resistances

3. HP max from Pact: the last node up to the right it's always an expansion of your HP pool, which can help avoid some oneshots

of course, there is dodging and parrying/shielding, mind the latter requires Stability and currently there is a tendency from high level enemies to crush you no matter what <_<u

The path from start to bear seemed longer when there was a wait between their additions. During this wait we tended to grind rep or gear. It may be worth some kind of delay being added to encourage envoy to explore, kill bosses, grind a bit of gear once they get Tuvalkane. The delay on getting some of the later gear due to 'leveling up' Tuvalkane has got to be frustrating for players who don't get the frags they need early. (YMMV I can't see the new entry stuff yet.)

It's a rough run on newer accounts. I did the quest on an alt because I wanted some recordings, and it was ROUGH. I had to go and get totems and level up a bit more before I took it on again.

That's actually just it. We don't entirely know. What we know is that an Envoy is a mixed-blood warrior, a human warrior touched by Fey magicks. Their purpose is to fight for the safety of Midrath, or perhaps even the whole of Alca. The purpose of our Envoy is to represent the helpless people of Midrath, and to give the wandering spirits of Midrath a home. I kind of gleaned this from the Nightfold as well as the definition of an Envoy from Google. TL;DR, We're a wandering warrior who can use Fey Magicks to fight against the Ode, and we represent the spirits of the land of Alca.

The game is in pre-alpha so not technically out for anyone. You can either get lucky and get a code or guarantee instant access with a founders pack. I got invited in P8 and would’ve recommended the game at that point. I still highly recommend it now, and purchased a founders pack myself. The game ofc needs polish in areas, but it’s worth playing if you want to be a part of the game’s growth and development!

There’s not a for certain release date yet, but they mentioned in the founders launch stream that they were aiming for next year, not too early but not too late. Hard to say at this point how close it’ll be to that projection 😅

It is odd, after the quest you should have the pact in your smithy, if you don't have the necessary materials for it though it may appear scrolled down to the bottom. If not try to do it alone not in multiplayer. You can Replay the fable but I'm not sure if it will give you the pact. If it doesn't contact support could be a bug

There's the Brewer of Hues quest you may still have yet to do, which unlocks the Waste Bear in turn, but aside from that a lot of the game is killing bosses, getting new gear, upgrading said gear, doing Hard Mode, etc.

It's called Cogah, and requires crafting an elixir from mushrooms. You are weakened, enemies become stronger, bosses drop unique loot to their hard mode form, etc. Death ends the Cogah, requiring crafting another potion to try again.

The closest thing we have to Raids right now are Sieges, found at the two forts about near the center of the map, Curlail and Kearnhold

Basically a few bosses to fight and some mechanics to figure outm

You charm a wild animal, by using your spectral sight (Q by default) and left click when in range, and complete a rhythm minigame of sorts. After which you'll get one of the random totems available from that animal type for a random weapon type. Totems provide upgrades to particular aspects of your weapons based on which slot you put them in. Also, the runes, which go in the middle slot, will provide a buff that triggers for a certain amount of time when you soul steal a smited enemy. The rune will also give you an additional totem slot in one of three totem slot types.

There are Totems for each grip, some more rare than others. Some have two versions too for the same grip.

Slotted in weapons, depending on symbol is one or other line.

Level them up to 3 times with dust, doing better charms (perfect timing or dust icon) or releasing them in the equip menu.

Runes let you have one more equipped. Cant equip the same one. But you can equip two ducks if each duck is different type.

||At the first map marker there’s a spot you can fall through under the water. Walk in that corner until you find the spot. Then you have to roughly walk the lines shown to the island. It’s slow at some parts, but I’d recommend somewhat spamming heavy sprint attacks with a longsword to cover a little more ground than just walking (since you’re forced to walk during parts of the trek). Also run Orengall pact if you have it and use your first ability when you’re not being forced to walk. It’ll make it quicker particularly in the last stretch. Just don’t forget to teleport before the ability runs out!||

I'm assuming Bayor is the Envoy we see at the end of the Orengall Fable, the one who stole one of the Omen Pups and named her Nightingale.

Its a safe bet to just pick the stat you like the most. All weapons have an upper cap on their scaling so bonus courage just lets you hit that cap faster and you can then spread points elsewhere if you want

so either way you do it, you'll end up with spare points to add into other stats

of course it depends on the scaling of your pact and its abilities. Some might want max courage or get nothing out of it. Same for all the stats.

joinery are used in tuvalkane's reforging tab to add more stat to your weapon, the bottom one is rune to slot into specific weapon class, the rune you have is for Shield-and-Sword class. to check rune and totems u can equip right click on weapons in the arsenal.

history motes are just location name decipher now, no more collectibles as the entire mote equip system is retired

I think my The Wastes Bear quest is bugged. I've found several trees with sap, but I can't interact with them. I've tried talking to the brew witch in the Nighthold to see if she'll give me a 'Sap Tap', but no, she's got no special dialogue. I've relogged and still nothing. Any ideas on how to fix it?
