hey, are all replays working since I would like to try some content I did months ago and tried to replay the torment stag and I can't seem to get it working

silver knights spawns is reduced the higher you go, and completely disappears somewhere after 110

being able to roll a worse sovereign than a noble really sucks, or a trash legendary
I’ve got a legendary mace today at level 68-70 cogah with one hour of farming from the silver knights

damn 2 legendaries? how many maces to you reckon you farmed total?
no idea my inventory is full right now, hit the max 
but out of 21 maces today i got 1 legendary with 8 tempers and one sovereign and 2 nobles, the rest is military and officer
you have some nice luck, i grinded most of the day around level 70 and i got one sovereign
focus on farming the silver knights, there’s a lot of them at the southern castle
sadly thats all im doing, running around the camps and only killing them
520 kills, 141 drops, 96.4% of the drops are military+officer

is there a pact that's good for scaling off spirit but works well with using a melee weapon rather than staff?
All of them.
Spirit just affects the second arcanic directly and reduces arcanic CD as its special effect.
And there are several weapons that have innate spirit scaling that can be increased via joinery.
Which weapons? I'm new to teh game and don't know much about what's available. I know spirit affects cooldowns so that's why I want to go for it but I prefer melee combat.
Rook for a polearm, and it only has an 11 Courage req which is pretty easy to meet after you get some MR. Lyke-Wake is the same for shields with a 12 Courage req. Cenotaph exists as a cleaver and that's pretty easy to manage once you get to near-max MR, as does Tessard for a basic longblade. Rostrum is a good primary shortblade that only needs 12 Grace to use, an Witan is a good secondary shortblade that only needs 6. All of those have innate spirit scaling.
The big boys here would be either Rook or Cenotaph, though those have an 11 and 14 courage req respectively, which will be something for either a courage/spirit hybrid or just a higher MR. I'm at max MR, 18, right now and have a 33/15/15 virtue layout. Those two 15s let me use a lot of stuff I normally wouldn't be able to on a focused build.
Dewelion is very good but that'd only be on a grace/spirit hybrid cus of its 19 grace req.

Yeh, you level stuff up, but if you meet an Omen Beast out in the wild that offers you buffs, the xp buff really speeds things up.
And there's also nothing stopping you from taking something like Igne Mora, which has a req of 9 courage and no spirit scaling at all, and just slapping a thrice blessed on it anyway.
It can work, especially if you don't hyper-specialize.
This is my Rostrum, which has 0 innate courage, and it works just fine.
I just +3'd the courage anyway.
And my 2:1:1 virtue ratio makes it good enough.

But yeah, I suppose Spirit is the virtue with the least weapon variety available, which makes some amount of sense. Arcanic CD reduction can be very strong. It's a CD reduction, not a charge rate increase, so a 50% reduction would lead to double usage, it can get spammy pretty quickly.
Once you get to high MR though this problem pretty much vanishes, as a 2:1:1 ratio will allow you pretty much anything.
are all the cogah runes better than the base high damage attack ones? im gonna collect em all just to have either way but im wondering if any especially stand out

Flintsmoke is good if you're running high Grace and can thus one-shot people with crit damage.
I've seen it used to one-tap bosses even after the HP buff.
Cus it's a free unaware finisher.

in some older info out there I saw that the reforging doodads had stat bonuses, all of the ones I found have only attunement changes. Was that changed or are those with stats only dropping later?
Yeah, if you want to speedrun bosses that can be finishered, it's just use max Grace, use Duelo, use its second arcanic to buff Grace more, use its third arcanic for the free 50% or so damage increase, use Flintsmoke so the enemy is now unaware of you, getting you crit damage, and then walk up to them and use a stealth finisher for yet more crit damage.
At high enough MR and thus high enough Grace it'll let you casually one-shot bosses even in Cogah.
You can get attunment and ones that buff your damage
And if you don't one-shot them you can just rinse and repeat to speedrun their fight anyway.

Tempest got un-ruined a bit actually.
All of its arcanics had special interactions against bosses that just turned them off and made them literally useless.
That has been eased up massively, though its first arcanic still kind of sucks.

Their stagger field now actually affects bosses, and their armor and stagger boost isn't instantly turned off.
It just loses more time when hit by a boss, so fewer hits total.
Cus it's a countdown that shaves off more time whenever hit.
Bosses will just shave off a lot.
Instantly of instantly ending it, as they did before.

The main thing is their +stagger field now not ignoring boss enemies so you get some actual offensive advantage.
From what i know they're still adding to them, they might be used for tempers later on but at the moment some of them just don't do anything

Yea, usually try to go by what it says in game but that's not always reliable
Those are old and don't work anymore, they just got left in your inventory.

The avakot wiki is pretty good, they try to stay on top of things.
If you can actively collect joineries that are not verite, quicksilver, gildaur, and feybolt, that is a bug.
As those are the only four types of joineries that exist right now.

Yeah the way it was worded sounded like they were talking about the Templar build or whatever the heck you guys call it in the game I've not even unlocked it yet I've got like a piece of it but that's about it, from what I understood of reading the description of what you guys listed it said that that build or pack or whatever was capable of generating more health and was kind of like a tank from what I understood of it
That sounds like maybe you're talking about Tethren which is one of the starter pacts? The most recent pact to be released is called Duelo, it's sorta pirate/duelist themed.
It was just 2 days ago it sounded like they were talking about a Templar build when I was reading the description or maybe I misread it that's a huge possibility but nonetheless I could have swore that's what it said

personally i don’t use pact abilities in fights that much, so i take all the virtue points i can
ive played thousands of hours of warframe but build crafting and charter progression in this game fries my brain

i think soulframe for now is just random system that doing their own thing without synergy with other systems so don’t overthink it they all just works
I rush to Sympathy, Voided, and then all +6s.
It tends to have more mileage than the passives.
I'll choose which passive I like more and use the remaining points to put a second level in it.
in my experience you need quite a bit of virtue points before you really start noticing big effects, early game i would just try to hit the virtue requirements for the weapons you are playing
I have a 33/15/15 split and the lower two still provide very noticeable bonuses.
Already have a 20% CD reduction and idk how much crit multi but it's there.
But that's me at MR 18 lol.
exactly, with 63 points even the smaller fraction is noticeable, but if you only have like ~20 points its not gonna be that impactful right
Very early on yeah, your weapons are gonna be most of your build.
So pumping scaling is gonna be most important. Base arcanic damage isn't bad.
and late game you can kinda go with vibes, like go roughly into the stat you want but hitting an exact specific number isn't needed
I think my issue is that pacts don't feel very impactful and that everything goes into a weapon dps meta atm. you crank courage grace or spirit depending on the weapon and your golden but then parts of your pact suffer immensely. then theirs the issue where armors are tied to virtues as well but there is clear winners to what is best for defense forcing players to work that in and then change the looks in order to look half decent. but lets not forget those armors also have a virtue requirement splitting points even further. balancing everything in the game around virtues feels like more of a bottleneck atm than a meaningful system. atm I'm finding myself tryin to get as many points as possible just to reduce the restrictions the system forces on me as a player.
What's this about a talisman?
yeah just getting more virtue points is kinda the progression of the game, and ofc some better gear
at some point in the start you picked a faction and if you want to change you need there talisman to do so you can farm and buy it from you current faction leader if you want to change

well the thing with gear is all of it can work but the virtue requirements and runes available force players to use weird and cosmetically conflicting items just to get any for of meaningful feeling progression. and i know with the current state off difficulty it doesn't really matter but in the long term if they don't figure this stuff out it could cause issues when trying to build a endgame loop
Since each enclave is, at least on paper, aligned with one of the virtues and so with the starting choices
i have not really had the issue with the armor, if im doing a courage weapon i use courage armor etc
I use a 2:1:1 ratio and have had no problems. My favorite pact is also Rood which is one of several that don't really care what you otherwise use and are not dependent on weapon damage.
Armor transmog exists for a reason.
Though we desperately need cosmetic loadouts.

Yeah, I adjust for a 2:1:1 after everything. All three +6s, the +3/3/3 talisman, I balance the final total to a 2:1:1.

alright but say your doing a grace build but one of your ability's scale off courage then your weapons are going to suffer massively if invested into or say your armor is so low that you need to use items that unfortunately scale of other virtues that will also effect how yor wepond and pact feels.
I havea quest to get the 4 history motes at Salzbrim. I looked up where that was since you can't read names without motes and even after relogging there seems to only be 2 motes out of 4. went all over not finding anymore after relogging. Is there something else not letting the other motes spawn?
Wut? If you go full grace then just use weapons that scale on it.
arguably a bit of a weakness of the system no, i just have 3 different 2:1:1 loadouts and never look at it
And the base arcanic damage for at least most skills isn't bad.
And then that's on you for using a pure, all-in setup.
There are pros and cons to doing that, as there should be.
Just something to account for when making a build.
I could boost my Courage from 33 to like, 41, and lower my 15s to 11.
But I don't do that cus I like having those other bonuses.
And the weapon variety.

like i could pull out the stopwatch and time my ability cooldowns but i can't tell the difference between 13 or 15 spirit
You feel it more and more cus it isn't a purely additive bonus, at least for spirit. I'd probably feel the timing being off after a while, perhaps not for a long time if I'm tired or something tho.

like just look at warframe for example everything is relatively useful on its own and you build up everything separately the weapon the frame or pact in soul frame. everything should be built around the pact and its playstyle but as things are not that just doesn't happen do to each ability scaling off different virtues and the weapons scaling primarily off one. the reforge system could help with this but well need to see how it changes in the next update first

It's just how builds are set up, you have several freeform things to choose from to make your own playstyle.

currently the game is very easy, you can do whatever you want
Fine tuning balance will be a focus for later, right now you can stack too many multis.
And runes still blitz through content, things are uneven right now but that's expected of a pre-alpha.
Hell we're getting another rune and totem rework within the next month.
pacts/ classes are the foundation of a playstyle it decides what can work and what cant but currently the system in game conflict with how well items preform with each other. simply put if you build for your pact your weapons and defense could massively suffer and if you build towards the weapons your pact becomes almost useless outside of healing related ability's
Again, this is subjective. With my current build, I can swap between any pact and still play fine. I can also change my weapons at a whim and play fine, among all the ones I have kept.
I can swap from gath to marrow to avex and my pact will not be any weaker.
I can swap to duelo to tethren to tempest to oscelda and my weapons will not be changed.
I can swap my virtues to a different focus and will still be able to play fine with some adjustment, as base values aren't bad but different things will be more powerful.
Right now I am courge-leaning, which is built more towards leveraging the common offensive skills.
Yet I still spam the heck out of Behest, a spirit skill, cus it's great.
I still use Stampede to horde clear.
None of what I use is remotely bad or in any way not useful.
yes everything can work bc enemy's are relatively still weak. you feel the issues more up north and in hard mode if fights persist. long term as the game progresses and grows the system as it is now would become an issue. note I'm saying this knowing all of it is probably going to change 100 more times
Hello im new and i have a question can i play an other weapon without crafting it ?
I have played past level 100 in Cogah and my observations do not change beyond Stampede starting to struggle against elite enemies, yet still being great for horde clear.
you can get a mace from mace elites
MR will also climb over time same as difficulty, meaning more virtue points.
technically you can use the premium shop too i suppose
We will become tangibly stronger over time.
I like dual wield in other game and fast things
honestly i do not like this, any weapon they add just increases power passively like this
you might just want to continue doing the tasks for the scribe dude, and unlock the smith so you can craft stuff
I mean, it works. As they add more content we get stronger, so they can add harder content.

in warframe i can just bring weak gear and i can play with my irl friends who are not maxed
That's true for any game though, and there are suggestions to make older content optionally scale to you.
i have used that ability and honestly when it hits its alright than cant be said for many of the other damaging ability's in other pacts. which is why they would need more investment to be useful. for example the bear slam completely useless after a point even if its super cool

Methinks you're assuming an ability's weakness is the fault of the system around it, which is incorrect.
Rump Thump was broken and got slapped down a little hard.
But that is the fault of that arcanic, not anything to do with virtues.
It just probably needs some adjustment and some tweaked scaling.
Same thing happened to the entirety of Tempest and it is only now being adjusted back up.
That too was no fault of the virtue system.

Tempest's Seismor still kind of sucks, and I have 33 Courage.
That's just Seismor sucking, not my Courage being bad or not enough.
Balance isn't stable at this current state of dev.
Nor is it the most important thing to focus on.

That's just Grace's crit multi being too high, that too is its own issue.

And each pact plays differently yeah. If you want a more castery playstyle instead of buffs, I can suggest Garren Rood, Mora's Hand, and Oscelda.
All of those are very arcanic-focused in that you use all three of them constantly for immediate effects.
Garren Rood and Mora's Hand are very aggressive while Oscelda is focused in utility.
They play entirely differently from stuff like Tethren and Duelo which are more weapon-focused.
ah too bad, I kinda hoped it was a bit deeper, bought it on a whim (not like I wasted money, digitalextremes is goated in general so even if I end up uninstalling they deserve my money so all good there) but after like 2+ hours of playtime I am mostly confused about the story (is there even one ?) and the combat is far too easy and simplistic for my taste atm
It's a pre-alpha, don't go in expecing story. And the combat depth is largely about placement, spacing, and rhythm.
It's a bit like a souls game in that specific regard.

well the main point thus far without getting into the weeds, is the the Ode ( those guys you fight ) are invaders on the planet of Alca where all of this takes place, and it's kinda your job to blast em
oh well...guess I'm just gonna try it again tomorrow, see if there ever is any more...depth to it and if not, wait for patches or just write it off as a little extra money spent on a good studio
also do keep in mind, that they are taking pretty big swings at major changes in like every major update that comes out
for instance, just recently they increase the squad size to a max of 4 ( from 3 ) in a random hotfix lol

It does showcase the weakness of the flat DR we have right now tho.
I mean I mainly only bought it because I'm kinda bored with my other games and digital extremes has proven to be one of the last good studios left in the gaming world so even if this game doesn't vibe with me , I'll support them gladly
i do hope they sincerely reconsuder virtue liths and especially random stat drops on weapons that you have no control over, i.e. basically rivens all over again

i can't even imagine the chaos if they apply how the orst III functions as loot but to all weapons in the entire game
The differences between craftworks are just base damage and tempers, the latter of which is confirmed to be editable in some way with the backing system via Tuvalkane that'll be in P15.
So at worst, probably, we'll have to grind for Legendary.
And perhaps maybe not even that if we're allowed to upgrade craftwork tier.

cus the difference between stock and max tier , moonsteel, is pretty significant and it'd suck knowing that my fav weapons are just simply inferior because i did not happen to get the highest rarity random drop that is up purely to RNG

It'd be between stock and legendary as moonsteel is a random cosmetic effect that can roll for every tier.
And yeah, it's +3 base damage per tier, and max scaling is proportional to base damage so it comes out closer to 50 at the end.
Which is a very big difference.
I do hope we can upgrade through craftwork tiers. Without that it'll be a grind for legendaries.

or they could make it work similarly to incarnon adapters in warframe - take an old weapon, get an 'arcanic adapter' for it and then do some tasks to unlock the temper nodes that you can swap between in your inventory at will once they are unlocked. Craftwork would work perhaps like standing, but is improved through some specific resource that is plentiful enough, i.e. ' standing ' but for purely upgrading weapons
could even tie it into a Tuvalkane forge expansion + fable

Everyone is grinding out so many copies of orst now, I'm assuming its meant to be semi passive. Youre not meant to grind to get the perfect one, youre supposed to get a handful and smush them together for a perfect one

depending on how a potential 'merging ' system will look like, i'd look at it like the pity token systems in warframe - didn't get main blueprint for a certain warframe? Spend the tokens you get for each mission completed to just buy the thing outright

People have gotten piles of stock and military even beyond level 120.
And legendaries have dropped at 20 and 40.
i get notably more officers in cogah vs non cogah, like at least triple. over ~150 drops
then again, if it boosts legendary from 0.1% to 0.13% are you really gonna notice at these sample sizes
based on my (admittedly) anecdotal evidence, the instant that i popped that cogah-cola and crumped some agari, those mace bois dropped me a couple of noble quality orst weapons, which i never got upto that point ( most of mine were like militiary/officer grade )
I've gotten 3 noble and 2 sovereign thus far, and all but 1 sovereign has been non-cogah.
I flipped cogah on and grinded to about 85 for a while and didn't notice anything different.
But that could, again, be the difference being so small as to be practically nonfunctional.
Which would be something that hopefully gets adjusted if so.
simply having drop rates listed exactly, perhaps at Orlick's station, would be huge

if you mean the virtues, then no not really, other way to get more points is to level up those nodes in a pact tree for each virtue ( i forget how much they add )

Rebalance points are just a resource you have to consume whenever you reassign your virtues.
Virtues are otherwise assigned automatically according to the ratio you set.

That's valid feedback, and you should def make a post in #1438224662344761345 . I like part of the changes, but not all of it. Which is why I believe they added only one item via p14.5 rather than straight into p15. I think there are ways of implementing it without running through 3 different RNGs for the ultimate weapon. Check out some of the threads in the feedback too and add your voices to the ones you agree with, or explain to others why you don't agree with the ideas!

Serious question to people who have farmed everything in preludes to this point. do you have the will to get a "god drop" Orst-III? Everything else to this point I've known what to farm and gathered where I should go to farm it. I see people posting mace routes in the discord and I am simply not finding the desire to log in to gamble on my time.
I've leveled everything and got a single Legendary with an awful roll after dozens upon dozens of maces.
At that point I decided 'nah' and I'm just ignoring it for now, I don't have the energy for that kind of hopeless grind.
Just counting myself finished for now with every weapon I kept back at level 30.
I ain't grinding hundreds of a single item in the hopes of the one good one.

I have logged in daily to only get 80% stock and 20% 1 or 2 trait officers
That kind of grind is simply not for me. I could do it in my younger days playing World of Warcraft for a swagged out .01% drop rate mount or something. Attach that grind to something that would directly help me in combat and it just feels off.
I stumbled upon a Ghost Ship, tried to get on it and ended up in it... I wonder if it'll have significance later or just be a prop in the distance

I highly doubt Paragon will be subject to the random roll system.
They've stated that certain important weapons will remain tied to fragments, and Paragon would be a very easy example.
The rolls are just for lower tier stuff to be more immediately usable, and to perhaps catch up and remain relevant.
If tempers are applied to everything, one half of those stated goals would be null.
As nothing can catch up when the top tier stuff also gets boosts.
Who knows though, maybe the upgrade system itself that is shrouded in mystery will be universal.
I'd just call it unlikely from what I've gathered, unless I misunderstood.

Nothing suggests that crafted weapons will become outclassed, that'd just be something to balance.
Crafted weapons could start strong and stay strong and weaker weapons could have tempers that close some of that gap.
Well, I guess that's the difference between you and me. on Warframe you know, there were a lot of trashes become much more useless, and stronger weapons getting stronger, regardless of the source of the weapons.

I don't see any more reason why tempers are only needed for drop weapons. Honestly, I don't even know what it means to fill the gap. Isn't the new mace strong enough?
Assuming a high rarity and good tempers, the mace competes at high tier, yes, though it can also be argued that its moveset isn't as good as the GS moveset, even with the heavy speed increases. That, and I wouldn't count on how strong it is currently being its final state, as it's a mechanics preview. I could see it getting reeled back, as we're already kind of too strong right now.
And the upgrade system, as far as I've heard, will involve breaking weapons down to upgrade their brethren, as in breaking maces down to upgrade another copy of that mace.
There is only one Paragon, you don't have any to break down.
Maybe the resources you get from breaking stuff down will be generic, maybe everything will be upgradeable, nobody knows for sure except DE, I'd just call it unlikely for everything to be subject to the temper and tier system.
what attack totems do yall use for magick weapons? -armor on hit or +damage on primary cast?
Attack speed and -armor on hit for literally every weapon lol.
Those two and rat AoE are the three most used attack totems.
In any combination. I just like squirrel and beaver for generic dps.
As rat is situtational to enemies that are grouped up tightly enough.
And doesn't do anything against singular enemies like bosses.

shout out to the dodge/roll button too. it be deciding which one its gonna be based on the alignment of the moons, your astrology sign and the enemys astrology sign
I think that's mainly reflex and the sensitivity of your shift key.
Roll is just a double-tap, but it accepts that input before dash even starts.
So a fast enough double-tap will just skip the dash and go straight into a roll.
i.e. You can cancel out of a dash into a roll at any point, even before you see the dash start.
If you learn to time it right you can even get a very long invuln window from the unbroken i-frames of both.

you can get an Orst with enough Tempers to make it very powerful and then it becomes competitive with, if not outright better, than Purity as a heavy weapon

If you want easy mode, the simplest way to cheese the world is getting a shortblade, not a dual blade but a single one cus they're much better, getting Flintsmoke, the Cogah rune, getting Duelo, and then maxing Grace and nothing else.
Active both your second and third arcanic for a virtue boost to Grace and about a 50% DPS increase.
Activate your rune for Flintsmoke to turn you invisible, forcing unaware and thus crit damage and opening up finishers.
Proceed to one-shot an Agari by shanking them twice. Also can just activate Flintsmoke and go on finisher rampages.
finally got my first 4 temper Orst-III.... but still only Officer....

It's just leveraging Duo Duelo's absurd buff, the absolutely cracked Grace crit multi, and crit damage on demand of Flintsmoke.
The only primary one is Rostrum, the best one overall is the Wyld Sirin one, which is a secondary.
Failing that, Grinn I guess, but Rostrum would be better, and neither are locked behind founders.
Even if you can't finisher an enemy, which you can't against like, the spider Agari, thrown headshots will do fine.

I have to say, I hope non-founders aren't disadvantaged gameplay-wise from not owning the restricted weapons. The legendary greatsword thingy was supposed to get some solution to that later, but there should be alternatives for the other weapons as well.

They are separate items which provide their own mastery and additional pact arts points, and they'll be available through farming in the future

Hello! I have one questions about Agaris and bosses in general. Their difficulty is tied to the zone we are fighting them? their level depends of where they spawn or they always have the same stats (hp, dmg etc)?

Every Wednesday there's a weekly drop of 2000 invites, but it's by far the least reliable method to get codes (and keep in mind if you already have access, you can't get more codes this way), the most reliable way outside of just buying founder packs are twitch drops, next one is on 26th I believe
Prior to a few patches ago you COULD get all perks on the Wyld pacts, then they randomly added 2 more tiers to the healing perk

Bestitching isn't item-based (it used to be for like 20 days I think?), it's slot based. So you customise your Envoy's helm slot for each loadout, rather than changing the appearance of a specific helm

Are you trying to tap parry?
All parry is is the first some number of frames of your block.
If you only tap and thus end block early, you're ending parry early if not all of those frames have passed.
It'll only make it harder.
I use The Hollowing because it does more damage per Rune charge. Archstorm does 200% at Rank 3 to a single target. The Hollowing does 300% at Rank 3 to multiple targets, including the target your hitting. Also, for the passive totems, I use increase armor, increase magic, increase smite chance, and increased attack speed. For the pact, I use Orengall with a high Spirit build. Summon a bunch of wolves and pew pew from a distance. For armor, I use the Pensive set.
The moment I see her attack is gonna land on me I hold the block button, just as I do with the rest of enemies.
With any other enemy I can reliably parry, but with Mestra (specially with her lunge attack) it's like she is hitting me before her weapon reaches me. I try to raise the block but my character gets hit and doesn't raise its guard
And other times I swear I'm parrying just at the moment of impact but I'm just blockingthe attack and eating the whole stagger damage
Huh, I wouldn't know then. It may be latency? It could also be bugginess cus that fight already has a history of various kinds of issues.
I believe you can largely get through just from spamming charged heavies due to the rally system though, unless you're undergeared.
Rally system?
Oh, the gray health system, the fact that you have a period of time where you can regain lost health through violence.
Bloodborne was the first big game that had that as a core mechanic, and it was called the rally system.
So the term kind of stuck around.
That sounds very generic and rally rolls off the tongue better.
Cus I also regain health through a number of means.
Though gray health is another popular term cus of some games graying out that soon-to-be-missing HP, like Remnant 2.
Just saying 'we have gray health' is often enough to get someone to understand the system at play.
At least if they've ever experienced it before.

The pact closest to generic healer would be Oscelda, though several pacts are capable of healing.

Oscelda is one of three pacts that I'd call 'magey' yeah. Pacts all have arcanics and are all technically magic, but Oscelda, as well as Mora's Hand and Garren Rood, use all three of their arcanics quite often and quite evenly, leading to a playstyle that feels more like a dedicated caster.
In contrast to pacts like Tethren, Bromius, and Duelo which have one arcanic they kind of revolve around, the others providing support, and focusing more on your weapons for achieving consistent damage.

Though Oscelda will rely on your weapons for damage too as its arcanics are utility-oriented.

Ocelda does have the only team heal that I'm Awere of. Duelo a Grace pact has another team buff.

Currently stuck in Orengall's quest. I freed her pups outside first, and then my sparrow is leading me inside a dungeon that's not spawning enemies. The mines has enemies, but not inside the dungeon itself. I've looped the mines and dungeon several times, and I can't seem to progress further.
that part of the quest is very buggy it seems, only thing you can really do is keep relogging until the game decides to get its sh*t together
do I relog and retry the dungeon?

Eh so i got a sovereign Orst-III with 6 tempers. Anything i should be looking for specifically on it like certain tempers/stats?
you want the damage and heavy attack tempers
With smite, voltaic and increased stagger as bonus
These are the ones i have, eerything else i've had have been miitary or rarely officer so i havent looked at tempers
the main you are missing is the heavy attack speed up i think

i have about 300 maces in total, roughly 150 in non cogah and 150 in cogah with enemies between 40-70. and in the cogah group i get higher officer+ craftworks
any recommendations for early courage/grace armor sets?
I think it just increases spawn rates which in turn gives you more chances to get maces. The patrolling mace knights or the ones guarding specific poi’s seemingly don’t drop Stock craftwork’s. So if you are aiming to get a legendary one I would follow a southern castle route. I have gotten 2 legendaries in cogah already just by farming mace knights

Yeah, we have no way to tell at a glance what rarity(craftwork) or how many tempers a weapon has. No way to sort, multi-select, favourite or mark as trash. We can’t type to search for a specific weapon or grip type either. Needs a ton of QoL for the inventory system
the fact that the item pickup popup does show craftwork is really annoying
In your inventory and arsenal they need to be marked according to craftwork at the very least.
Having a giant pile of mystery maces is aggravating.
also the fact that moonsteel is a seperate roll from craftwork, so odds are its gonna be on a trash military
We should be able to tell what the weapon craftwork is when it drops, like borderlands or something. Just change the shimmer or light beam to a different colour and different effects etc

Right now it’s a minefield deleting them that I don’t want because all rarities are sorted by when you picked them up, and there’s no hierarchy
It needs to be obvious in your inventory and arsenal at a glance without clicking on the item to expand its UI.
Just on the minimized UI, clear what craftwork that item is.
a locking system or a buyback system is pretty mandatory imo
We need to know rarity, attunement, temper slots and level of an item, and if it has a joinery equipped without having to click on it
Because if we are expected to look at 200+ weapons in your inventory, it would be nice to know which weapon I’ve already crafted into and spent time leveling
I don’t want to view 40 maces in my inventory and have to remember the legendary I’m using is number 27 in that list

If I want just the helmet from an ode enemy, but it’s surrounded by 3 weapons, 2 chest pieces and a completely different helmet that I don’t want, we are going to need to be able to select from a list of dropped items on the floor or something
Also, imagine the sword you just dropped falling off a cliff or into the bottom of a river, physical drops like the mace can cause issues. They’ll have to figure out some way not to let them glitch through the floor too or become inaccessible by falling through a crack
There’s already loot that falls in between tight spaces around the organ and ode walls that makes it impossible to grab
idk it might just be me, but soulframe was supposed to be more casual/simpler than warframe, and having a loot system like poe(2) sounds like the exact opposite to me

Dropped weapons are far more intuitive. Also you likely won't need high craftwork ranks to do good damage to begin with

Theres a bit of conflicting updates to system that the new pre-built weapons and virtue lithes brings for sure.
New players do get their hands on exciting weapons faster, but with limited lithes they won’t be able to swap their builds around to use them or want to invest into them.
I do think it’s a good idea to have a way for DE to improve “basic” weapons and allow them to stand out vs future unique weapons though.
We hope so yeah, I bet they’ll make it more approachable than 4-5 layers of RNG that we have now 😅

i agree with this, but rng is tried a couple of time in warframe and it wasn't very great most of the time on launch
I'd argue the foundry system is actually pretty bad for new player retention. I had a friend or two that was having lots of fun until they saw 24 hours to craft a gun, 72 hours to craft a frame etc and they'd just be like "Yeah I'm not waiting all that." And just drop it
I mean I do think they can learn for sure from Warframe and from other games in the industry. And since it is pre-alpha I do want them to thrash the systems about and find what works the best and what the community wants. My only issue is lack of communication and then repeating old mistakes
So I think they're heading in the right direction
After all, I'm willing to wait that long cause as an old player/somebody already dedicated to the game.

It does seem like with the remaster to the awakening quest it’s a good step on redoing the new player experience for sure. I bet we might see a return to old lore that’s no longer in the game too eventually
I have but one thing I want to see in the game and its more variance for bows/magic characters
I want hand crossbows, big ol crossbows, wands, orbs etc etc
Right now melee is just sitting there patting they big belly with over half the weapon types in the game
We have seen two crossbows
