Typically by holding your spirit button and then heavy attack. On Mouse and Keyboard that's holding Q and then hitting middle mouse button on an enemy. On Controller (which is what I'd recommend using tbh) it's holding left trigger and then hitting right trigger

The rune that you have equipped will also tell you how to unleash it

Not reliable but avakot does sell it quite often check him every few hours and if you do crypt dungeons you can get quartz at a decent rate

Quartz is one of the harder things to farm rn

But if you go to the right places it’s not too bad

You can find it in just about any breakable container of the basic glades chests. It can also be sold by avakot vendors that you find randomly or as a faction tale step sometimes.

They increased rep gain from votives massively, you can knock out the 16k cap in under an hour pretty easily.

The new items that drop literally anywhere can be traded in for rep that doesn't count towards that cap too.

So you can pretty easily turbo grind it.

Yes, but what I mean is that it would be nice to have more activities than just these faction points, rather than repeating the same thing all the time.

"Turbo grinding" is definitely not my style of play. I enjoy doing the various activities the game offers, I just wish other activities also rewarded faction points.

That's more just from the state of the game, as it's in pre-alpha. There's not a lot of content to chew on, especially repeatable content, cus that isn't the focus right now, the focus being on core systems and features. The organs are their own activity, though I think they should probably raise infamy a little like sieges do.

The factions are not the end all core system, so they won't be tied to everything.

They're just like, the largest one we currently have due to how early it is in production.

If you're grinding rep and it's literally any other entrance? They're probably worth it, minus an objective or two.

So it has full sidearm coverage right now, I think all three virtues do.

And it makes sense for large, clunky things to lean courage, same as bows leaning grace and staves spirit.

Im saying weapons need more offshoots, not every greatsword is pure strength historically, but war bows required a LOT of strength, i care about variety in what weapons are, like maybe a bow thats really large and slow but is for tanky courage based play styles, a greatsword thats graceful and slender, these things help

The values generally do a lot more the higher you go so a jack of all trades in this case IS genuinely worse then a hybrid or single virtue build

Especially with each virtue being tied to a weapon type, a lot of the good weapons are heavily tied to a virtue requirement thats a lil up there

I'm a bit confused with the use of Flyblades. There seem to be 3 different modes to them.
1 ) Normal attack, throwing them one at a time in front of you (hold right-mouse button to get a reticle dot to see where you are aiming),
2) Hold middle mouse button till you throw them to send them flying around you in a large circle and
3) Tap the middle mouse button and send them flying in two circles that are closer to you than holding the middle mouse button.
I don't recall a "charged" attack, like you see with the bow.

I'm not sure you can actually do 1) if you have done 2) or 3) and they are spinning around you.

I only have two versions of flyblades, Precklies and Skilter, and right now I'm trying to level up Skilter. Do I get more levelling if I'm using Skilter in combat versus using my bow exclusively in combat?

I've seen someone with something like 4 flyblades circling them, like they did 1) and 2) together at the same time. Not sure how to do that, or at what level that's possible.

Making them circle around you will render them unusable until that ends yeah

Also about holding aim button for the reticle, it's not just the reticle, it lets you ignore the auto lock ons auto targeting aswell

And yeah you'll get a lot more xp to the weapon by using it instead of using another one

The two weakest pacts right now are still Tempest and Sirin, as both do things that are easily covered by other pacts better. Tempest makes you moderately tanky, but has an inconsistent damage skill and several special interactions with bosses to purposefully turn everything it does off, robbing it of any boss utility. Sirin just, sure it enhances basic combat but everything it does can be done with another pact for less effort. If you're really attached to stealth I guess, it just isn't remotely necessary.

Orengall may be in a weird spot, its Howl buffing courage being a remnant of the previous virtue system.

But at least it does something well that isn't just outdone by another pact, the summons are pretty useful and fairly unique.

So long as you don't use it in multiplayer and start crashing people lol.

They stripped its damage, which is understandable, but then only left it with one utility, and then turned that utility off when hit by bosses.

The stagger reflect is pretty neat, it just only works when fighting mooks and it's like the one thing it does.

The rolly boy got changed for some reason and now doesn't do any damage half the time cus they made its push hitbox so much larger than its actual damage hitbox.

And that also has a special boss interaction that pops it upon contact, making it useless.

Yeah, I have Silent Rose, I was trying to figure out who to talk to at Alca's Children, but there was only one guy I could find there to talk to, and he just told me to tell my leader that he had some barrel of something for her (I'm assuming it's probably alcoholic). I was about 70%, and didn't see one behind me even though I did clear them all out. Spawned off screen and just one shots XD. Respawn on them is ridiculously fast. Don't have any time at all to interact with the king if the minions instant kill. with defense buffs.

Unless it's that close to chess and a metaphor about the pawns being the strongest pieces. That's just very clever, at the same time a rude way to switch up gaming habits and common gaming design. Not a bad thing, I love that idea on paper. Though, seems too overwhelming in practice. Team play this is good. Solo play... yea... no.

You who play Warframe you know to level up fast we have Hydron on Sedna, well I think I found our Hydron, not as fast but it works. If you do a Organ don't release anymore animals after the first one because it just keeps spawning enemies, like I said many of you may already know this already but thought I'd share:)

There's a World Tree east of Wyndoun (NE) that gives consistent Spirit of Ichor tales, mainly bears. Relog spot is right next to it. Just relog till you get bear, relog after bear, can farm endlessly.

You can find golden motes floating in various places within the grounds of a settlement. Pull smite draws them in and partially reveals the settlement name until all motes are gathered. Be warned, there is currently a bug that prevents your status on this endeavor from updating properly, relaunching the game fixes this.@signal gust

Up for debate is whether the pensive armor set does anything to help reveal these motes.

I've heard it both does and doesn't.

Orlick is really the only questing entity we've got right now so you should be doing those anyways. Regardless, gathering the names for all the settlements is an arduous task, not easily accomplished in just a hour or two without preparation.

What is the point of getting a different weapon in the same category with different attunements? is it only for damage purposes or do weapons in the same category but different attunements have different actions?

I don't believe they have any different actions, but a weapon with 2 stars is better than one with 1 star, and the more attunements that match the ones you've put points into, the more general damage, stagger, smite and charged damage they will do. Reforging adds attunements to the weapon, increasing that virtue's influence on those numbers. The actions may not be different, but they may look or act a bit different. For instance, a different feyblade may appear to have 4 blades whirling around you, rather than 2, when you do a "heavy" attack.

There are also different virtue prisms that you can get, which put an emphasis on different virtues (some weapons may have a requirement to have a certain level in one or more virtues to even use them, in addition to the attunement).

personally as someone who mostly runs a spirit grace build and regularly uses the magik weapons(along with playing solo) i find the first 2 fights there fine if abit annoying with the magic gauntles or staff since your projectiles are almost always reflected back but i feel like the third trio fight should be either nerfed abit or readjusted slightly so that at the very least you can kill the healer faster or survive long enough to kill one of the other two without using something like ocseldas stun or sirins stealthy butterfly mode or other similar tools (im just gonna leave this if anyone wants to respond do so at your lesiure)

hey if any devs are on i suggest you guys check out the bug i have posted its starting to happened more often now slowly. at first it was like here and there but now got it twice three days ago left a post. happened again today and again just now and sent another clip. the bug is progressively. You have to get 3 different talismans and then, wearing them once each, fight the Circade in the overworld at certain times of day, receiving a fragment from each. With those, Tuvalkane should let you craft the triune talisman.

Howl is right, the most difficult boss in Cogah is generally Etheldread. Realistically, they don't scale that much, only +2 levels per Agari killed, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. There are also all the dungeon Agari you can/should kill in Cogah, and levels reset after going in a dungeon. Your build should be substantial enough, but in order to avoid being killed, I would spam rune attacks, and use trash mobs in between fights to recharge runes (flyblades are great for that.)

Be VERY careful of fire dmg from torchbearers/Bannerets, it will do a LOT of dmg, and HP pots don't always drop. Make sure to use Cloudquell on Nimrod. And be careful of the basic Mendicants around Knell and King, they, for some reason, deal a LOT of dmg. Here's a map someone made of a full Cogah run with sieges and everything included, and shows where the dungeons lead to, as well.

Obvi you can skip sieges and organs if you don't want to do them.

That's just a bug in MP, as far as I'm aware, and yes it is quite annoying and should eventually be fixed.

Hello everyone. I have an issue (bug) with the game. Most of my faction's quest that go through underground dungeons don't reward any faction XP once I clear it. Is it a common occurrence ?

Did you hit the daily reputation cap by chance?

I haven't hit the cap. I don't play a lot so I only do a rotation of 3 faction quest per day (from 1 to 3 star). I just finished a dungeon right now and no reward again unfortunately

16k from quests, can redeem any amount of tokens with no cap and none of them contributing towards it

I will say, the Votive rewards won't pop up until you're out of combat, and if it goes on for too long and/or other UI pop ups/loading screens supersede it, you won't see a pop up. Could be an actual bug you're experiencing and are in fact not getting standing rewards, but only way to tell would be go to vendor, see where your standing is at, replicate the issue, go back and see if anything changed. Or use Little Genius to track that without having to visit vendor. If it's an actual bug, should def report.
