1. hold w the whole time
2. Jump+Dodge (timing is crucial)
3. follow it with the second jump a moment later
   note: it’s way easier to get a feel for it than to listen to my directions bc it’s very rhythm based.

i also found a speed boosted bhop but it’s probably frame perfect bc i can’t do it consistently

theoretically if you could do the speed bhop repeatedly, it’s probably like 40% faster than normal running, maybe more.

It's annoying to grind the armor provided from Tier 3 Sparrow Tales from the enclaves. It's a chance you get a fragment of the armor as a reward upon completing T3 Sparrow tale. Thankfully I have both cuirass and greaves, I just need the damn helmet.

I don't understand why both Silent Rose and Alca's Children give Ode Tempest. While Kith of Kings has it's own pact. Maybe in the Silent Rose will have it's own exclusive pact.

idea for a combat style: Blade in one hand, magic gauntlet in the other. Dagger strikes are mixed in with short range "pop" type hitboxes from the gauntlet. Throwing throws the blade, and while the blade is out/thrown the gauntlet acts like a normal secondary magic gauntlet, but attacks a bit slower since you only have one of them. Can parry both magic and physical, but has middling stagger cost against both. Thematically fits spirit and either one of courage/grace for scaling

I'm referring to, like, odiac and other "visually wielded in both hands" secondary weapons with magic arts

the idea is to have one of those in one hand and a normally dual-wielded weapon in the other hand

It’s great in concept though seems complex.

Devs and players alike tend to hate complex - (But fantastic idea from you)

The other problem is if it becomes no-brainer choice above other secondaries because of it’s stand out capabilities that everything else will just … always lack.

The danger is it will be stuck as always overpowered, or always underpowered because of balances to keep other options viable.

If i may ask, is it intentional that all of the baby deer i rescue from cages are smeared with oil but none of the other animals? and they seem to immediately switch to clean when the cage is opened. feels like a visual bug but not sure

another question. i am not really bright so i would like to ask someone to explain how do i get more "stat points" or virtues? Because i see many weapons and armour that needs more of them, or i am unable to wear and use it effectively? Because so far i can't really seem to figure it out or understand it. For example it feels like i gain them randomly? and when i change class i can't use my armour anymore because they are just gone, but they seem to "grow" overtime i play?

stat system is a bit convoluted, but, the basics are:
you have X "core" points, attained from a base value + your mastery level. These points are distributed to your virtues based on ratios as defined by your "virtue prism", which is an equipment you can purchase from factions.

You can also gain stats by spending points attached to your class, and by acquiring and equipping different/stronger talismans. The points attained from these sources are specific to a single virtue and not affected by the virtue prism

For example, there's a set of prisms that you unlock at rank 2 of each faction that says "2 points in the 2 virtues that don't matter, and all remaining points go in our favored stat"

and then you can wear a talisman that says 6 more points in that virtue

and then you can purchase 6 points in that virtue as well from your class (which goes away if you remove points or equip a different class)

You could also spend 6 points into a different virtue, either separately or at the same time, if you needed to hit some breakpoints

for example 6 points into spirit to hit stat requirements for odiac from the 2 base of a blue or red prism

My assumption is that changing pacts and losing the ability to wear armor is 'cause you had points invested in the older pact on the parts of the tree that say "gain [virtue]"

they give corage, spirit, and grace respectively

and the amount you get in that virtue is equal to invested points

i have a thing, i don't know how to replicate it or what causes it, but it is kind of annoying. instead of shooting the charged shot, my character just puts the bow down. no weapon change, just refuses to shoot, like it changed her mind in the very last moment

sometimes in shooters, you can cancel a drawn bow by clicking ADS again or something like that, this is total conjecture so idk if that’s why

Will-o-fronds come from Will-o-wings, which are the plant creatures you can sometimes find in fields and forests that pop up and explode. Brinefloss can be found near rivers and ponds, Wyrmwort is a mushroom found in forests and Jaden Drop is one found in swamp areas like the one to the west and north-east

It's definitely at the point where it's worth playing! I think P11 back in October was where it really reached the state you can dive in and have it as your 'main game'. There's also a big journal progression system coming in 2/3 weeks' time, so now is perfect as you get all the current content, then a big update to look forward to

Sorry to be critical today, but I just can't see how anyone thinks this targeting system is good. At the organ trying to hit the vent cap to knock it off so the beaver can climb up, and it won't swing at it with enemies around. It feels really bad not having autonomy over what you are trying to target in combat.

I've said this before, but you really need to acquiesce to target locking. This feels really bad.

When enemies get the gray healthbar and X symbol that means your basic light attacks do not beat their armor.

For example if your light attack does 30 damage and the enemy has 35 armor it'll display a gray health bar and you'll only do 1 damage.

However heavy attacks, headshots, Pact buffs, armor stripping, etc... can all elevate your damage to still beat their armor

so, if you're playing multiplayer it's p2p, meaning you're connecting directly to the host of the party (the one whose world you're in). thus ping times can vary quite widely depending on where your host is located and how stable their internet connection is.

as for the game's servers, which seem to be used mainly for tracking cooldowns on bosses, events, etc., and registering item drops and other changes to your account, i uh...don't know? i believe there are a few separate regional servers but i couldn't tell you exactly where they are, just that the game likely chooses the closest one to you automatically

Hello, Envoys. Have they mentioned any changes regarding multiplayer, dungeon difficulty, or the possibility of adding raids? So far, the game is enjoyable, but it is extremely easy, to the point that I do not really need to play multiplayer, except just to say that I grouped up with my friends. I know we are still in the Preludes, so I am only asking whether anything has been mentioned about this.

Also, I hope that if they add a way to increase the difficulty, it will not simply mean “more HP,” but rather smarter enemies.

mots or as i call memory fragments tbh , they unlock the names for different places you visit as you collect them . also helps to level up your envoy rank as far as i know

they spawn randomly and you need to collect a specific amount before you unlock the whole area memory . if you on keyboard , go near them , press Q and click on left mouse button your guy should collect them
