Dungeons are all around. Sometimes in caves, sometimes in holes in the ground. That’s where the exploring comes into play. The dungeons are small areas you can traverse through. You won’t necessarily have a boss at the end (though some do), and as you explore, mats can be found that you can craft with the blacksmith tuvalkane in your nightfold.

The Greatsword is an excellent choice. I’d also recommend trying Polearms if you’re going for a Stagger and Finisher build. The Stagger damage is insane, especially for throws, and it works perfectly with Ode Tempest (with a full upgrade on the first tree skill point)

Nimrod is on a 6 hour timer for the collector, or if you mean Dimrod, it's 30mins - agari spawns often just 'happen' but if you're having trouble it can be helpful to leave and re-enter, sometimes entering and exiting a nearby dungeon is easiest

Pacts only determine the 3 active abilities
Weapons and armor are determined by your stats

And all of those can be mixed and matched as long as you have the right stats

and the main defining factor in what you can/can't play is your virtue prism, which affects the distribution of points through the 3 virtues (it's basically a 3-way ratio)
the gear system is very modular, it isn't really as simple as just picking a class

They are hard to notice. DE could improve here by making them glow a bit more 😅

The glow kinda blends it with the red color of the sap already which when looking at it first glance you won’t notice them much

Other factors I look for is the slight difference in textures of the tree bark and the many claw marks on the trees themselves. The trees also shine a bit of a blue hue which can help identify the trees for later wevetsap farming

There is also that guaranteed cut down tree stomp that gives a sap

Speak to the blacksmith. The reforge option allows you to apply joineries. There's multiple tiers of joineries. Rusted, tempered, and polished can be applied at any time, immediately after you craft the weapon, even. The blessed variants can only be applied when a weapon is fully leveled.

Reforging costs materials along with using the joinery, so keep that in mind.

Some joineries can only be applied to certain weapon types, as well. Verite for melee weapons, quicksilver for bows, feybalt for magick. Gildaur is a universal joinery and works for any weapon type.

the first time (per 'login session') approach locations. a banner gets displayed | pay attention to top of banner -- (O|O|O) | # of 👀 = how many history motes spawned for the host current session. no respawn till next session, motes spawn location is rng.

more of a sanity check then easier way. pretty sure setting visual effect intesity ot max helps

The Founder Pacts are Wyld versions of the 3 starters similar to Prime Warframes in Warframe, they have the same abilities but look fancier and have some advantages. In the case of Wylds, levelling both it and the base Pact will pool your Pact points, for a total of 60 over the usual 30

They also had a (partially implemented) feature in earlier Preludes where Smiting an enemy would make their gems glow and provide a temporary Virtue boost. The glowing effect is still in the game but the Virtue boost has been disabled with the Virtue update. May return/be tweaked in the future
