And magic weapons lack the "parry heavy attacks" arte.

Mirrorspell basically only works on the spell the enemy casters in white fire at you, and the seeking waves from the deer head heavies.

It depends how you define Ancestor. The https://wiki.avakot.org/Ancestors wiki page uses 'key NPCs in the Nightfold', which does include Zenith, but if you go by the in-game Journal, then Avakot is also an ancestor lol

1. I rescued the wolf from chains and she ran off

If you mean the daily cap, the only way to check is with LG - if you mean for your current rank, I think DE updated the way standing is shown in the sparrow's tale completion screen so you can maybe complete a T1 and get a quick view without having to go back to the Enclave

History motes are yellow lights with black smoke around them. They're not guranteed to spawn every time you go to a location. 0, 1, or 2 may spawn. If you see a mote face or 2 in the black diamonds, that'll tell you that motes can be found there.

Cogah is the hard mode you can access by improving your relationship with Verminia. Bosses here have a respawn timer of three hours, and logging out takes you out of it.
Endless, on the other hand, are tilesets that have multiple spawning enemies. If I recall people call it arenas now because it's not truly endless anymore, but the enemies scale up as you defeat more.

You definitely can play this game along other games. In the beginning you might enjoy the game and play for long sessions because you choose to do so, otherwise it is a very chill game.
Eventually 1-2 hours a day feels the norm and that's assuming you are still doing faction quests to their max daily cap, so can be less time.

Yknow. Melee combat in this game is super simple and there isn't a lot to it................but damn if it isn't satisfying anyway.

The audio and visual design teams definitely got the weight and sound of strikes really well.

I've been rocking Circade set for a bit now but I have finally crafted 2pcs of the Fire King set which has slightly lower phys but grants me some mag defense as welll.

Is this generally better or is the bulk of damage going to fall into the first category?

magick damage sources are lower in count than physical so its better to focus phys armor and then use defense slot totems (animal 'spirit') for magick armor

you ever seen an enemy glow in their chest? if you hold q and left click it does like a pulling motion and gives you the colour that the enemy was glowing (red, green or blue). that recharges the ability that you ripped from them and if you have the upgrades in your pact heals/deals damage to the enemies. it also activates the runes on your weapons if you have them equipped

It's cool when you can proc voltaic with them then heavy attack then barswap then proc fire and theres 2 elemental damage forms for like 2.5 seconds but it barely ever works out

or you could just use a bow with high smite chance and proc arrow rain 1 time which just melts anything that isnt a boss. if you want boss damage you just go tetheren with alcas breath rune on a bow and 1-2 shot them

I'll start an encounter with Behest. then cast stampede. and then wade in with flyblades to proc smite. and go to town with longblade or greatsword until I can pull smite to get my rune going (Treefell or Everflame). and hit the tankiest guy with Torment if he's still standing.

Syrin and Oscelda may not be as popular as Tethren, but I think they're crazy strong (although I have little use for the Glamour ability).

I just go for high smite with it so I can get skills off as much as possible

Sometimes if I get enough smite pulls i can backstab or kill everything before they even have a chance to swing their sword

Yes. more spirit means they'll hang around longer. at a point, it'll allow you to summon 3, and at another point, 4. But just having the pact max ranked will let you have 2.

alternatively, if you want to finish locations one-by-one, you can keep relogging and going back to the same place to find all the motes before you move on. You can also find two motes sometimes

As someone who's been used to running Orengall with Spirit, the Grace focus of her armor threw me off, so it took talking with others who kept the spirit orengall builds to learn about the p13 change. I still think that armor needs to be spirit instead of grace. But maining Orengall, I was well aware of the werewalker summons bug, and noticed that it got removed in p11 or early in p12.. Though I'm foggy on which hotfix.

There are respawn points around the map. I think if you log out in a dungeon or the nightfold, the game uses the nearest overwold respawn to where you were last? Someone mistook "leave the eternium gardens" for "relog" and wound up in the starter area when they logged back in.

Ok. Yes. Soulmap calls them "envoy camp" and uses a sparrow icon to indicate them. Envoy Camp number 1 is the spot you get taken to if you leave the eterium garden menu.

On alca, magic is tonal-based. So, it's not the electric that heals Nimrod, it's a magical tone he uses. The electrical stuff is a separate tone. The UI just uses the lightning effect cause fun visual.
