trying to do things FAST will burn you out just as fast

dont try and think of it as a grind, and more as just playing the game

This is essentially a PvE game and you dont need to complete with other players or be the fastest, just take your time and have fun

My only issue with it is the Virtue Requirements is making it alot harder to use the gear i want without grinding rep for days to get the split scaling prisms

if that ever gets too much, you can just look up the locations and mark them on your map. takes like an hour or two to clear all of the map if you put your mind to it

there is none. The animal cage is a relict from the early days of the collector event, when it worked differently. You can only fvree those animals if you previsouly on your run did a tale that had fetching a thunderstone as one step, and then didnt use it. But collector event is useless anyways, there are no specific drops tied to it

That just means the animals haven't dropped any for that weapon type yet, just bad RNG on you right now. click the Compendium box and uncheck the compatible to see how many total totems you have across all the weapons.

Clear a faction quest, look at the "exp" for that faction

Painful part is your current standing is the exp number minus the CUMULATIVE standing you've earned to rank up

I.e. rank 5, you've earned 80k standing to get to rank 5, so 86,000 exp would mean you've got 6,000 standing currently

SO got everything blessed and relevelled again (tier 3 weapons) including new staff and off hands. Tested every pact and prism (got to tidy up my spreadsheet for public viewing maybe though) and Wyld Tethren + Marrows Bane (5 attuned) + Flame Rune is the still the fastest TTK of them all overall, Max Grace and Dewelion is also great but flintsmoke just makes it so Dewelion is used to get an almost instant rune proc then swap and activate flint. Seahorn blessed and Hollow rune make for almost instant group wipes if the rune procs early, kinda fun.

Not like we have any challenging content that this matters just play what's fun for you and it will be great but the Marrows Bane set up is pretty nuts, 0 need to block/dodge/parry just swing, rune proc, death.

I hate this new prism system there isn't enough variability I had a friend literally lose all access to his weapons basically because of this stupid system I liked it better when I dictated where my points went.

On top of that new prisms are locked behind a. Reputation grind that feels like I need to work it like a full time job. It kind of ruined the game for me. What makes it worse I bought the $100 pack and now I regret the purchase since the game feels boring and grindy for me

you don't lose access to weapons. you just don't get the attunement benefits. there are no attunement requirement penalties anymore.

the "Blessed By" joinery increases the attunement scaling of the weapon you put it on.
it also requires the weapon to be rank 30 to apply, and resets its rank to 0

so if you don't want the slightly higher attunement scaling, polished ones are very much so the way to go

It makes that stat give more damage per point.
