The standing feedback is pretty whack in general atm, I don't think you can really blame a person for not knowing the thing that wasn't in game.

I've never farmed enough standing in one day for it to be an issue, and it's not like there's any easy way to check standing in-game without wasting a Wevetseed to go to the faction base, then another Wevetseet to get back to high-tier quests.

you don't need the talisman to enter the enclave but you get the talismans (Mora's Medallion) fragments from Dermak Undercity dungeons chests, and you also need to buy a Sacred Shimmer from your current faction to be able to craft it.

to enter the enclave tho you just need to wait for night, and if nothing happens at the enclave entrance, go into nightfold and back out

For rat totems, I went to Curlail (the vilage, not the fort). There's usually 3 rats there and it's fairly easy to sneak about to get them. Relog / repeat as needed.

It's the same as most of warframe's factions (solaris, vox, quills, entrati, hex etc etc) - it's just the original 6 syndicates that have the unique rivalry system going on for them

So it turns out Ode Tempest is surprisingly good for stealth.
Despite the description, using this (replaces your kick) doesn't actually deal any damage. So you can use it from behind an enemy to close the gap and stealth attack them, as it doesn't alert them.
