Im doing a second run of the Shewolf Snarred quest, and Im at the mine where you free her pups. but every time I get to the first cage the enemies dont drop the cage key quest item. Can you remove the fable from my journal or maybe mark it cleared again. I dont even need the completion rewards if its just set cleared again.

Hey folks, I wanted to report a really weird bug that's completely stopped my story progress. Here's what's going on:

It all started after that last update. I was playing normally, had just reached the World Tree and opened the map, when I got the prompt to update the game. So I quit, updated, and logged back in.

As soon as I loaded back in, things were off. The starting area looked different, and I could suddenly go into a hut and talk to an old geezer I couldn't interact with before. My sparrow then led me back to the World Tree.

At the tree, I saw this big, scary-looking boss that seemed like a fight was about to start. But before I could even get close, it just flew up into the air, mumbled something, and vanished.

Ever since then, my sparrow has stopped guiding me entirely. I went ahead and purged the tree thinking that was the goal, but now I have no quest markers, no new objectives, and absolutely no way to move the story forward. I'm just wandering around like a lost soul with nothing to do.

Has anyone else run into this? I'm totally stuck. If the devs see this, please let me know if there's a fix or a way to reset the quest. Thanks!

the game is all about exploring! My suggestion though is to stay within the large walls until you get better armor and gear, unless you want to risk death! Enemies are much harder beyond the walls! I can't beat the waste bear. I have been fighting it for 3 hours now and half the time the mist doesnt actually visibly spawn but still kills me anyways and the other half im just dying to attrition becuause im doing like no damage to him so it takes forever to get him into phase 2 even though ive learned the roll times.
My weapon has the first 4 points you unlock but I have no idea how to level weapons at all since they stopped leveling at 4. I don't know how to do any of the faction quests cuz everytime I talk to the faction person she still gives me the intro dialogue.
i have no idea what is happening anymore and i remember why i stopped playing around prelude 9. i got so lost and i wasnt unlocking any new equipment nor was I gaining any points anywhere anymore. am i cooked? im constantly lost on what is a quest and what is just lore dialogue in the journal.

by the way, armors to look for to help survive longer: Mendicant (king boss), Orengall (Children of Alca enclave), Mockery (mockery boss) and Bromius (Kabocha boss, but this is after the bromius quest)

my suggestion, be sure to open all chests you ever see. When you do unlock your first enclave eventually, be sure to do their tales for exp that goes towards leveling them and getting better gear

I've collected almost every tree just wandering. I keep going to higher and higher level areas as I am following the journal and my equipment just stopped leveling. you might still be able to damage a greyed out enemy by throwing at their head for the headshot multipler. Any kind of damage buff ability can help as well.

the greatsword rune is the only new rune introduced with p12, all the other runes were redistributed from the original 3, so if you maxed out all 3 already then all the others are also maxed

nope, because you and your friend would only have 2 runes and wouldn't be able to figure out the rest of them without more people involved, and there's also the chance u and ur friend happen to see the exact same rune so you'd need even more people, then you'd have to decipher the game's language etc etc
