The game is engaging due to its atmosphere and scenarios.
I expected more immersion and a variety of missions and scenarios like in Warframe.
I haven't played co-op yet, so I haven't seen everything, and I don't know how a co-op would work, given that I only have one character who can only switch weapons.
The story and narrative are lacking in this version of the test, and I'm also having trouble understanding everything since it's not all in my native language🇮🇹 .
Overall, I can say that the game is great and that many stories could be developed.

Yes, with the mouse and keyboard the mechanics are very slow and there is not always a quick response to the command, especially in the defensive save.

If I want to change a weapon or use melee, I have to spam R a lot,
and sometimes the bot hurts you even if you've shielded.

The Tetheren pact has an ability called Fellust. It makes your hits deal increasing amounts of damage based on the number of hits you've landed in a row. Parry -> Counter also gets this damage buff and already deals very high damage. Since Soulframe uses a flat -# damage taken for armour system, these boosted hits basically completely overwhelms armour, making single hits like these even better and oneshots bosses with a good margin already.

The bigger problem for bosses like Nimrod is it has a few unreactable attacks, and 100->0 combos (and at least one which is both), so it'll still be very scuffed for non tempest

But yeah, the current armour system is flat reduction so high damage numbers on single attacks are disproportionately effective

I like Orengall currently due to Wolves diverting attacks to themselves, and enemies will ignore you completely. Tbh I'm not playing "META builds", in my opinion the "META" mindset is just short word for "let me show you how to be a tryhard and min-max everything". I simply do not have tens or hundreds of hours to invest to the game and build to nuke everything on one hit. (learned the hard way while playing Genshin Impact...) I just want to play something, and I liked Warframe very much so I tried Soulframe, and I understand the vision of the game is souls-like gameplay, but sadly it's still very harsh on players.

Parry isn't costing any stability buildup with Polearm now, so it's definitely buggy. It normally does, and consistently did, I've both seen videos of it and tested it myself. They could be changing it, it could be a bug, idk and don't care all that much with P12 right around the corner.

But parry cost does refer to parry cost, as parry should, or at least did, have a stability cost.

If you started in P11, 3 Pact slots, and 6 Weapon slots.
For Pacts I believe there is somewhere in the UI that tells you how many you have, but I don't remember where.
I don't believe the same is true for Weapons.
Best way is to simply claim stuff until you hit the limit.

Also note, with P12 there should be some rebalancing on the starter slots amount and/or slot cost, so you might want to hold off buying until the patch.

I have been MMOing since Everquest launch in 1999. Between Soulframe and Enshrouded. My 26 year MMO gamer has moved over to MMO lite games. IMO this has been refreshing. I can play solo and its designed for me, when I want to play with my friends, the game scales for that as well. I love it. Souldframe can take my money, Im not going anywhere.

wall cage should always make them prioritize attacking you. you only need to have one instance of an archer deciding to f-off elsewhere where you can't see them, to be done with the entire concept of traps.
