Question, once you've joined a faction like the Silent Rose, is it possible to switch to another like Alca's children later?

to use Alca's as an example, you'll need get fragments for their talisman from Glades of Andurin chests, get your current faction to atleast Rank 3 to be able to buy a Sacred Shimmer, which is needed to craft the talisman.
after that just gotta go visit Alca's enclave and pledge to them to switch

for Kith of Kings it's the same but the talisman fragments are from Undercity chests

I will say though that a lot of that stuff got hammered out to some degree, but the reason I dipped was because of the community on a lot of servers was incredibly toxic. They had that three faction system going on and stuff between them got heinous. And before several people jump on the 'it's PvP's fault it makes everyone toxic and it's inherently bad', no, shut, I have had PvP, even PvP-focused games be perfectly respectable.

But it got bad in New World and I blame it all on a lack of any meaningful moderation.

They did not know how to handle that many people.
