Like, what I'd tell a new player is spacing, spacing, spacing. The game revolves around lunging, so if you get your exact distance down and learn how to time a charged heavy, the ability to walk in and out of enemy attack range and time big lunges will get you through the entire game.

From my experience, your normal armor and max hp values are maintained, even if your weapon is swapped and your pact abilities are nullified

Wearing heavier armor and getting a decent amount of courage seems to help

I personally don't like the sheath, it just makes it even more obvious that the sword changes size on your back.

That and there isn't the slightest of care to actually use it as one, the sword just very obviously phases in and out.

So it's, eh.

The sword itself is great though.

But grabbing the sword and having it shoot out the bottom of the sheath is jank.

Cus it'll resize before it moves, making it too large.

Sheath just adds more jank to the animations.

i dont mind the resizing part, its just that it phases through the sheathe otherwise the resizing i do sorta like cause it gives the sword more character and adds to its magicalness and such, but yeah the sheathe part they should make it teleport/glow animation into the hand before resizing

We may get that. A while ago there was a statement about pact transmog eventually being possible, and it having effects beyond the visual.

Honestly I'd immediately slap Flintlock onto Ode Tempest if possible, to give it a damage skill that isn't bad.

Then it can really be a stagger monster, Flintlock would put everything it passed through into finisher state.

Random I suppose. The Soulmap guys are trying to figure out every possible spawn location rn so we know where to look at least. Still not sure if any beast can show up in any eligible location either, or if say, Bromius can only spawn at x location and the Dale Seer can only spawn at y location (not that it matters at current since they all give the same rewards but still)

My frames are far less stable and my VRam like a solid 2-3 gigs higher than like 2 preludes ago.

On the exact same settings.

Even lowering them didn't make it as stable as it once was.
