Try -n to check for syntax errors. Read everything and figure out why it's not working together

Take your laptop to a professional if you are not able to resolve the issue. This is not advice but simply food for thought I would nuke the computer with secure erase(look up your SSD manufacturer for there software or via UEFI) for SSD or dban(don't use dban on an SSD) for HDD and install from a fresh clean USB. That's just what I have done before. Make sure you don't delete anything you need. All that is overkill for most situations though. Unless some complex malware got onto your laptop. Could also be false positives but I wouldn't know without looking at it

Guys, as hackers Imagine someone was using WhatsApp with a phone number that actually belonged to a friend. Later, the friend became a foe, and took back control of the SIM card. Since WhatsApp accounts are tied directly to phone numbers, the friend was able to install WhatsApp on another device, verify the number using the SIM, and automatically log the original user out of the account.

Now the 'friend' is misusing the account, pretending to be the original user, messaging people from their identity, and potentially accessing sensitive conversations or impersonating them. I have been doing web security for about a month as of now. I am doing the tryhackme web fundamentals path and I have finished about 25/30 rooms.

But I have been seeing a lot of news and everywhere everyone is saying web security is practically dead.

I have to become employable in a year because family conditions are not very good financially. And I really must get a job and I want a job only in security because I absolutely love it.
It can also be a security engineer. (I can grind dsa too).

I have done CEHv13 as of now and I want a penetration testing / VAPT / red teaming / security engineer job.

Can anyone guide me if I should do cloud security ? Or continue with web security ? And if I should do CTFs. If yes then from where. And what projects are worthy to add in resume according to current job market.

Yo guys whats up, I have been doing pentesting for this app my friend made, its made in Flutter + Firebase, I already found some vulns but I wanted to try burp suite

What i did was:

1. Open burp suite on linux VM, add a proxy on all interfaces and port 8080

2. Go on phone and change wifi setting proxy to manual and insert my pc IP and port 8080 and save

4. And then I saw some traffic from my phone it was some default google requests but I couldnt see any requests coming from app

5. So i tried going on phone on http://(ip):8080, downloaded the CA certificate but still no request comming from the app or any other app

This problem is driving me crazy, I saw somewhere its because app doesnt trust that CA certificate, and it needs to be in system folder for the app to trust it

Which would require to root my phone
