I'm pretty sure my PC and Android are infected with RATs, my PC has cmd windows blinking for a second when starting and randomly crashing and glitching, and my phone keeps having the volume turned up and down randomly among other things.
How can I fix this? I did a clean reinstall on my windows, cleaned all partitions and didn't install anything and it still happens

IMO dont use it to cheat and do the work for you. IF you have to use it. Ask for a step by step and only proceed with steps to see where you struggle but i would recommend stuggling a bit and asking for help where you can.

No need to be sorry. I used VM's 1st and still am on windows. If you want to make the move to linux id recommend ubuntu just to try out as a daily driver OS in a VM. Keep in mind many apps that are microsoft depended have either issues with Linux or require workarounds. If you game sadly windows is the most optimized.

Hello! i've been wanting to learn ethical hacking for a while now, because cybersecurity truly resonates with me and im extremely passionate for it. i did a good chunk of tryhackme rooms. i started doing a linux module containing commands like awk, tr etc. but i cant concentrate at all. are these commands really neccessary or can i just learn them along the way? i just wished for a more practical approach instead of a theoretical one. it's good to be familiar with tools/utilities like those so that you are aware of their capabilities and can recognize when they would be useful to you. as a hacker, you'll often be operating on systems where installing your preferred flashy tool isn't an option, you'll have to make do with what already exists on the system. memorizing every feature and flag for every util isn't necessary, you'll pick up the most useful ones as you go. e.g. i've been using nmap for 20+ years and still look up flags for it. but every capability you're aware of is another tool in your toolkit, even if you need to read the manual later for specifics on usage.

if you're looking for more practical approaches, jump into HTB boxes, or setup deliberately vulnerable VMs to attack. there are many out there for just about any kind of target you could want.

you have a whole pile of scan types you don't need. syn is fine. add udp for complete coverage, but it's slow, better to split into two scans.
you have multiple output flags, just use -oA for all formats
you should understand what script sets you're trying to run. you don't need to run every single exploit to do discovery.
if you're on the same network segment then T4 will be faster

nah you can’t decrypt HTTPS randomly it’s protected by TLS only way is if you control the device server or have a trusted certificate installed otherwise it’s basically impossible

see, first of all these are just hr filters if uk the basics and dig into it like u k the protocols now dig into it what protocols used for attacks what techniques use mitre attack defence and other threat intel, like do research on urself do relate everything what u study with ur own domain, and that will give more knowlegde and experience than these certs, but connections are the things which will give u a job, because nowadays most jobs are already posted months late, or internally they already got filled or someone other guy with referal get it, so in my perspective connection is most important for now , (knowledge is important but it won't make u recognize in the early phase)

I think that is a good plan. THM is a good step since it starts assuming you know very little about cyber, and gamifies it. Shoot for Sec+ as a baseline but pair each study topic with a THM lab (the more practice the better).

I'd say short tern for Sec+, THM beginner stuff, Linux Basics, and get into python/bash scripting

I think the problem here may be that your phone is a carrier variant. Meaning that the phone may be an OEM-locked unit, and GrapheneOS is not going to install on it unless the carrier restriction is removed. (Not the same as being carrer locked)

You might be able to call the carrier where the phone was purchased from. There are cases where they can remotely disable the restriction

In my case my phone was carrier locked so I just had to call my carrier, and they unlocked it, and the option was then available to me

You should document when you report this, and to whom on an air-gapped device, such as your home computer, something you'll never connect to the school network. Go further up within the school. If no one responds still, depending on your jurisdiction, you could report it to the local police. When you make your report, include documentation. In your documentation, include notes on what exactly is happening to the different devices.

If I remember correctly, bug bounties are covered on TryHackMe, but you don't have to make an account and pay to use the site if you follow the tutorials on YouTube and take notes. If it sticks, there's a guy named The Helpful Hacker that does THM walkthroughs which will be useful for your notes.

I’d say start with Windows if you’re new so you don’t get overwhelmed. But if you’re planning to do labs or cybersec stuff, you’ll need Linux anyway.
Also Roblox doesn’t really work on Linux, so you’ll need Windows for that.
Best option is dual boot or use a VM at first, then switch more to Linux once you’re comfortable.
