you should look into building a new virtualenv for py tools that have pip, this will keep all of those dependencies together and not conflict, (kali breaks fast with a few pip install -r ) (you can force this with sudo, do not do that)

the alternative, which is install those packages via apt and then build with pip can work if you don't have too many to keep up with,

check the requirements.txt file - it has the list of pkgs, then you can apt-cache search pkagename find them all, then apt install kpgs1 pkg2 etc3

hope that makes sense, that's how you would setup that virtual environment in kali for htat specific tool, you would activate that environment, go into it , and builddit, or just run it, then deactivate when finished

it's just.. alot of tools rely on python, so changing stuff with pip can break things, that's why you need to use a virtual environment (portable python) to run these custom scripts using that environment and not kali's python (which again, is for its tooling to work properly)

Alright.. you plug in a network cable into a machine... in order for it to know what to do with data you send to it, it directs it to services running on that machine.. this separation is done by the "port" the connection addresses... so you dont send your google searches to your mail server

MAC addresses are like an hardware identifier.. and usually meant to be static. While ip addresses can be variable.. take you laptop, plug it in somewhere else, get a new IP address - mac address stays the same

the mac address identifies your computer (or the network card built into it) to the network/router, but traffic identifies your machine by the ip address

iirc, MAC is mainly being used in the data link layer whereas IP is used in the network layer (where we connect via the internet)

you can see the port relevance, too, in port forwarding settings. Your playstation does not allow you to join multiplayer games? Look up the guide on how to tell your router that traffic to THAT port has to be forwarded to THAT device (a playstation).
And can be set up to a different port to get forwarded to the 2nd playstation in your house

Depends, from what I've seen so far, there are influencers who makes contents about what they do in their job, or like their "life philosophy" as an ethical hacker/experienced individual in the field, and most of the time I find them just stating the bright sides of being this or that, rarely do I ever find contents talking about the problems you need to deal with on a daily basis in doing those jobs. I have seen some YouTubers (there's this one guy with a beard who talks about hacking/linux, forgot the username) who seem pretty experienced in talking about my interest which is hacking, they even have a tutorial playlist dedicating to learning how to use Linux/bash/command lines and etc. So I would say not quite... but if they can present their content in a way that sheds light on what are the problems/job responsibilities you need ot deal with, I think it's indicative of their strength.

Yes basically it's how they segment the ports, imagine ports 2-24 are on the voice VLAN, you would get access to different network than the ports that are on the data VLAN

But on the older switches the console port would listen kn serial 9600, these are still around, you would be able to use putty or minicomputer to get a shell via serial cable

you need cleared, free space without an fs on it, usually

anyway, as for the boot problem, turn off secureboot. it doesn't play nice with linux systems unless you've enrolled your own platform keys

(or you have a distro that is compatible with secure boot, which kali aint)

Not saying you should leave it, but maybe try reseating the batteries, and clearing your capacitors (holding the power button with no battery or wire plugged in)
